I'm not sure why people have been randomly surprising me with art lately, because it's not normal for me to get so many pieces of art featuring my characters in a relatively short amount of time. O_O I'm not complaining though. XD ANYWAY...the "Shy Art Anon" came up with this: it's a banner depicting all of my major Twisted Wonderland OCs so far. I won't go into the circumstances of why they made this, but suffice it to say I did not see this page of sketches coming at all, and had no idea they were working on it till they showed it to me. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, having siad that; they did a great job with all my bois! ^^

Some more art from the artist formerly known as @twisted-brainrot. They decided to do some experiments with characters in Sumo gear, and chose to use a few OCs for Twisted Wonderland for the occasion. Top Left: Lewis Ursine, belonging to my friend GummiCola, and based on Lumpjaw from "Fun and Fancy Free." You'll recall this character from the stories "Too Good to Be True," "Fun and Fancy Feast," and "'This is the Story of Three Bears.'" Top Right: my boi Billy Geant in Sumo gear. I think he looks quite good in it, but he seems more befuddled than anything else. XD

Bottom Center: Billy and Gareth (TB's OC based on Gustave the Giant) wrestling it out. Honestly, they both somehow look so freaking cute there, sort of half-chibi-fied. XD My thanks, as always, to the artist. <3

Mon avis

Et ce roman tient la promesse de la quatrième de couverture, c’est une incroyable galerie de personnage couvrants toutes les couches de la société à certains points clés de  l’Europe.

L’auteur nous régale des déboires et des joies de ses personnages. De leurs amours interdits, compliqués, réprouvé, par défaut ou par passion. C’est ce qui les fait ternir et avancer. Ils sont prisonniers des méandres de l’histoire et des caprices des grandes puissances, ils vont devoir faire avec. C’est ce qui les rends d’autant plus attachants et humains. Ils vont puiser dans leurs ressources de manière phénoménales pour s’en sortir et améliorer leur environnement.

Le roman en soit peut paraître long mais je n’ai pas vue le temps passer. J’étais même déçu d’arriver à la fin (heureusement il y a encore deux tomes qui m’attendent). Ces prochains tomes parlent des descendant des protagonistes du premier tome. Que deviendrons les enfants d’un coupe mixte anglo-allemand en allemagne nazie ? Que deviendra la fille d’un gradé communiste de la révolution d’octobre ? Et celle d’un immigré Russe aux USA ? Quant au fils d’une fille mère militant féministe ? Toutes ces questions se présentent à la fin de la lecture car c’est la grande force de ce roman, nous présenter l’Histoire par le biais d’histoires. La grande histoire par le prisme des petits gens.

Vous l’aurez compris, c’est un coup de cœur.

I've been going through a tough time the past few days. Someone I cared about, and admired very much, recently (and VERY unexpectedly) passed away. I've been doing my best to fight through the grief, focusing on my work and finding different fun and silly things to help me cope and distract me. My friend, Twisted-Brainrot, made this little animation loop of my 'sona, Rochak, getting some hugs from me boi Billy, as a gift to try and cheer me up. Honestly, big Billy hugs would be so welcome right now. Thank you, TB. <3

Some more art of Twisted-Brainrot's new OC, Giggle, based on the Golden Harp from "Fun and Fancy Free." TB has been experimenting with the idea of Giggle being either a cyborg or a full-out automaton by nature, rather than a typical human. So far, his wings have been made mechanized, and he has an obviously mechanical limb. Billy doesn't seem to mind any of this. His Little Songbird is totally precious to him, no matter what he's made of. ;) Also, yes, Giggle IS a student at RSA. Take from that what you will. XD
