Thinking about patina on bronze watches again

Bronze watches oxidize as they are worn. The result is that the bronze will start to get patina on it. Usually the patina is superficial and doesn't affect a watch's ability to tell time.

Not everyone like patina on a watch, but I like the gentle reminder of the passage of time (haha) and how its appearance is reminiscent of something a salty sea dog would wear.
