Me and my boyfriend have known each other since we were kids, and now we work at the summer camp where we met. We’re only a year apart in age but since covid fucked with the amount of people who came back, he’s a supervisor/near the very top of the command chain, and I’m near the bottom. The only reason I’m not at the very bottom is because this is my second summer on staff.

We’ve been dating since february and interested in each other for even longer, so there were 0 power dynamics involved since we were both low in the chain of command last summer. i have a skin condition called dermatographia, also overall very dry itchy acne prone skin, i also have scars. here are a few placements that i have that i feel may be an indicator for skin conditions: mars ruled first house (traditional rulership) mars is inflamation and scarring, saturn in seventh saturn is dry and some people consider that libra(7th house) rules the skin, saturn opposite ascendant, saturn square venus i see venus as clear skin due to its aesthetical perfection.

-> Has to keep reminding the kids not to laugh at you, and that your just not the best socially

-> Eventually tries to find you one of those kids who are also standing away from everybody else for you to interact with, both of y’all have something in common, you hate the other kids!

-> He will very much get confused on this skibidi toilet bullshit (who isn’t, tbh-) but he’ll sit through it so they can be entertained while he tries to make sure that your still alive in the corner

-> If you actually started talking to the kid that he sent your way he’ll be kinda proud, I mean obviously it’s not the other 10 kids he has with him, but it’s a step in the right direction!

Apologies if this is hard to follow. My boyfriend and I have been dating for about a year. He’s very sweet and I love him a lot, though he’s occasionally a little forgetful/inattentive due to his ADHD (which I also have). We’re poly and I have a nesting partner that I live with, and I generally go to my boyfriends house rather than him coming to mine (my nesting partner has higher sensory needs so I try to leave the space available for her to have more quiet time).

A few months back, he started working with a new coworker, a girl, who he got along with very well. I was glad he was making a friend, and even asked him a few times if he was interested in dating her as well, to which he said he wasn’t for several reasons, the most central of which being that she was, at the time, living with an abusive ex and generally dealing with a lot. I said okay, to let me know if that changed (as far as I know it has not and that’s not where this is going). He mentioned at one point that she might have a crush on him but that he wasn’t concerned about it, so I wasn’t either.

As I mentioned she was living with an abuser, and one day my bf told me that he had invited her to come stay with him so she could get out. He had seen his father abuse his mother as a kid and it triggered him a lot to see someone else going through that, so he offered it kind of abruptly. I was overall in support of this of course, but I was still upset for a few reasons, such as that he’d said she was interested in him (he told me he realized he’d probably misread it) and his apartment is not that big, meaning she’s not only there but usually in very close proximity, as there’s not a ton of space to sit and they’re both tall. She also does have family and other friends in the area, so he’s not the only option by a longshot, but he lives closest to where they work. He noted my concerns and apologized for the abruptness, and promised to do his best to make sure I didn’t feel sidelined by her being there, which he has done.

Now, due to both her suddenly living with my boyfriend and just general personality things, I don’t really care for her. She’s a little abrasive and sometimes insulting, not to me but about ppl in general, she plays TikToks out loud at full volume when we’re watching tv (previously my bf had banned TikTok from his house entirely but I think he didn’t want to impose harsh rules on her at that point), and is sometimes overly familiar with me and I think with him (she sometimes addresses him with an “ie” at the end of his name and addressed me as “beautiful” like the second time I met her). Obviously I recognize that her personality is affected by her circumstances; the year after I left my abuser I was a lot bitchier, so I haven’t said anything to her or him. But bc of these differences, I’ve not made a strong effort to be her Friend. I’ve been…I’d say nice but I often get read as meaner than I mean to so let’s say civil, for example if I make food for the house I always make enough for her even though she often chooses not to eat with us. But I don’t like, go out of my way to converse or give her any encouraging response when she shows me videos I don’t care about.

Recently, she has started bringing her dog over to the house. The dog had previously been staying with her mother, who has a large piece of land on the water about 40 minutes out from the city (again my bf has a two bedroom apartment with a roommate and no green spaces, although there are parks nearby). I generally like dogs, though I wouldn’t say I’m a Dog Person, but I think they’re sweet overall. The only place I have an issue is with large dogs, bc I’m a very small person (im almost 30 and I’ve never broken 100lbs despite trying for years to gain weight) and if a large dog wants to jump on me to say hello I Will fall over, and if they push me or corner me I don’t have a lot of ability to push back. This dog, I’m not sure about breeds per se but I’m 90% sure she’s part lab, part pitbull, not huge but a solid dog around my size, and thus not the type I usually try to befriend, though I’ll give her a head pat if she requests one. This means we’re up to five people and one person sized dog (he had another friend lose a job and have to move abruptly so he’s also staying there) in a two bedroom apartment. I, as well as his roommate, think this is too much, and prefer when the dog is not there. But she misses her dog and my boyfriend is a full blown Dog Person, so he loooves when the dog is around, and will spent hours playing with her if she’s over. I’m not a fan of this for both the obvious reasons and bc she often knocks into things while playing and it makes me very nervous; there’s a lot of glass in his apartment and some of it is mine.

So okay the girl’s there and I don’t like her much, and sometimes the dog is there and i don’t love that either, but I’ve never said anything and done my best to control my feelings and reactions to not show annoyance (my guess is that I have about a 35% success rate at this as again, I’m often read as more hostile than I intend to come off). Id say there’s a solid chance that this girl can tell I don’t like her being there, but I’ve never intentionally made the space hostile.

Recently, she’s started this joke of referring to my boyfriend as…her dogs boyfriend? She calls him her “mans” whenever he’s playing with her and has trained her to know who she’s talking about when she refers to “her mans”. She even recently referred to her as his “main gf” which he quickly shut down, but other variations of the joke continue to come up. I do not like this joke, bc I think the girl knows I don’t like her and is trying to make me uncomfortable, but of course that sounds very paranoid. I’m trying very hard not to say anything bc like, obviously my bf isn’t cheating on me with a dog, but like, it still makes me mad that this girl who is so ingrained in his life right now is talking about her dog as if she’s his main interest.

So like, based on all the info here, WIBTA if I asked her to stop making that joke or expressed discomfort at her behavior? I know this maybe seems like an obvious one but again I’ve probably been more outward about my dislike of her than I think and I don’t want to make it seem like I don’t trust my boyfriend, bc I do, so maybe I wouldn’t be an “asshole” but I’d still be in the wrong? Idk what do yall think

Hiiii!! It's me again! Guess who has a bf now 🤭��� Need to mention I am the class leader and he is the vice president of the school so we both pretty much can suggest ideas and he can make the changes happen.

oh my GOD the weirdest thing just happened to me and I NEED ur advice.

So basically, I have this friendship group of like eleven annoying idiots (love ‘em all), and me.

Two of them and me r in the marauders fandom. We’re all 16 btw, just finished GCSEs!!!!!!!!! This is THE summer!!!!!

Anyways, we have ONE couple in our friendship group (that gives rosekiller vibes ngl) and a few others are dating people but not from inside the group (not much group-cest).

So like yesterday, we were all hanging out at one of our houses and I turn to my best mate in the group (who’s also a marauder girlie) and say “isn’t it so weird that our friendship group doesn’t have a wolfstar ship.” cause like ngl, we do give marauder era friendship vibes.

AND EVERYONES GOES SILENT???????? Like people were halfway thru words and they SHUT up. They always ignore us when we talk abt the marauders.  

So I turn to everyone and go “what’s with the silence, half of u don’t even know what wolfstar is.”

And one of them goes “we might not know shit about harry potter but someone’s definitely mentioned wolfstar a few times”. 

AND SHE LOOKS AT ONE OF OUR FRIENDS.

ANYWAY I went home and THEN it occurred to me that… ME. I could be in the wolfstar ship our friends were talking abt. Otherwise I would KNOW, since I always know.

And there’s only one person they all ship me with in our group, Clara.

But in hindsight, she HAS seemed bothered whenever I talk about boyfriends (which isn’t that often cause again, who has the fucking time). 

And she did NOT like my ex. Which was only sort of fair personality wise.

And like yes, technically, we have hung out solo and then she kissed my cheek. But like, we’re just really good friends.

ALSO how dare my best mate compare me to Sirius. Sure my parents are evil but they’re NOT RICH. I mean if you’re gonna be horrific at least be rich right? 

And here’s the thing, if I bring it up and Clara does like me- WHAT DO I SAY

AND if I don’t and she does like me, am I just being ignorant so it’s easier for me.

And like I had known our friends shipped us but they’ve done it for like… three years maybe? Not religiously but as a jk.

MAYBE THATS THEIR PLAN. Maybe it’s just a trick to mess with us more. 

But now I can’t help worrying that when we hang out it’s supposed to be a date. Or that time she kissed me was supposed to be a date and I DIDNT REALISE and just rudely ignored her.

Also, and here’s the weird part, I care.

tw vent — a personal life problem. i just have to leave it here bc i’ve been crying for two days. it’s long… so feel free to scroll past it :’)

i’m… about to break up with my bf of 2 years

he’s a really kind person. and i don’t exaggerate it. he always makes sure to show me that he loves me through little actions like forehead kisses whenever we meet up, getting me a customized keychain with my name on it, getting me meaningful gifts and flowers on important dates unprompted… and every simple and little gift he gave me i have stored inside a box and there are so many i’m bawling whenever i look at them bc i’m so touched that a man who loves me really exists :’) he’s my prayers coming true. i used to pray for a boy who will accept me as i am and he comes at the perfect time near the end of my college year when i thought everything in this world was jaded

not only that he also spoils me, goes along with anything i say… he is serious regarding our relationship, introduces me to his parents and siblings. i thought i no longer have any worries about the future. and i can say i’m 90% content with my life now— a great job, a nice boyfriend, financially independent… my life is too good sometimes it feels scary

but there’s no such thing as a perfect life and i’ve dreaded it quite some time… because i know that both of us have been avoiding a certain issue just so we don’t burst our happy bubble… and now that issue has come to bite us

we’ve been in a LDR for two years and i’m honestly okay with it, but whenever questions about the future comes up—like “where should we live in the future?” i always clamp up bc for certain i want to live in my hometown, where my job, parents and social life are. but the thing is… he has his own thing in his city, where his parents reside and he’s the first son so he’ll inherit the family business there

i eventually voiced my worries about this to him, and do you know what his first reaction was? i was so sure he’d immediately get worked up and convince me to leave my job

but no. it never happened

he was so shaken. and yet… he never denied me. he said he’d talk to his parents about it… he said he’d be fine with this arrangement even if he has to be the one going back and forth. he said anything that would make me happy… he’d do it

and i believe him. until the end, i believe him. because he really means it even until the end

i’ve predicted it already. no way are his parents going to agree with this. i know bc just put yourself in their position—your bright first son has everything in order, set to inherit the family business, but he’s going to live a hard life of LDR only for some girl… that’s simply unacceptable

now you might wonder why i’m so dead set with living in my hometown. in chinese culture, when a girl marries, she usually lets go of everything and goes with the husband. but i really, really love my job here. i love the work i’ve been doing, community and friends i’ve made here, the salary and whatnot. not everyone gets a chance to work in my company bc it’s considered prestigious. working here gives me a purpose— i feel enabled here and i can be a part of something greater. i’ve won awards and i’m considered for a promotion too in just 2 years in this company, so it’s really hard for me to let go of it when i know i can be more than just a housewife. and so, whenever i imagine that i have to leave this company one day… i’m crushed

and not only that, my parents only have me. i’m an only child, and my father’s health condition isn’t the best either. i can only shudder whenever i think of them being alone if left them here

sometimes i think i’m too selfish for wanting this. for wanting to keep my job. for wanting to be with my parents. for keeping my social life. my bf is the one sacrificing energy and money twice a month to meet me in my city, and even then i still want to ask for more

but… i really can’t lie to myself and say it’s fine when it’s not. and what makes me cry even harder is the fact that when he finally tells me what his parents’ opinions are… he cries too and said all of these:

“i want us to be together. i feel so, so lucky to have met you. there are some days in which i thought that if you weren’t there… then it’d be much harder.”

“i’m always so happy seeing you all happy and energetic, doing things you love. i don’t want to take that from you.”

“if i make you go with me, i’m afraid that one day… you’ll regret leaving. i’m afraid you’ll be unhappy and tell me ‘if i’ve known this earlier… i wouldn’t have left at all.’”

it’s the depth in which he thought of all of these. i cried on the spot in front of him because… what have i done? what should i do? i love him, i really do but in the end, i can’t let go of everything for him either

and the cherry on top? he doesn’t even want to instigate the break up. he said everything is in my hands now. he wants nothing more than keeping our relationship, but he doesn’t have the heart to make me unhappy. even until the end, he says whatever my decision is… he’ll accept it even if it hurts

i’ve been crying since yesterday. it’s so hard to let him go when memories of the past two years pop up one by one. he’ll pick me up, hug me on hard days, tell me that i’ll do just well, adore me and make me feel confident in myself… he’s been a really great emotional support for me and i’m so, so grateful to have met him too

now we’re still in a limbo. i’m too shaken so i obviously am not able to tell him what my answer is. we agreed to think of this further and talk about our decision in 2 weeks, when he’ll come to meet me again

i don’t know what my answer is even until now. i know the best course is probably breaking up bc we can’t agree on this particular point… but it’s not easy, not when we still love each other this much

if bug and jon were to have gotten together, it wouldve been during season 1. i truly think that had steve not interrupted their moment on the porch, right when theyre about to kiss after saving will, then this wouldve been the start of everything. i intentionally had steve interrupt them for this reason btw <3

at this time in come home, steve doesnt necessarily have an all encompassing crush on bug/loves her. hed probably just be confused that bug and jon are just now kissing ??? like wtf i thought yall were already together :/ but i also see him being a bit upset, some underlying jealousy that he doesnt quite understand. hed resent jonathan for taking so long, ironically enough. steve would still become best friends with bug and hed still be at her beck and call at bookstrordinary. only thing that changes is that jonathan now accompanies them.

nancy would go back to steve and theyd have the same arc as they do in season 2. only i think the halloween party scene would be fueled by nancys resentment towards bug (because bug has everything she wants - jonathan, the kids, steves affection). she would call her relationship with steve bullshit because she sees how bug and jon are and she knows that the love she has with steve isnt real. steve and nancy wouldnt be able to compare to bug and jon, and it infuriates nancy because she just wants someone to love her how jonathan loves bug.

in saying this, nancy and bug dont become friends. bug is all for it, she does really like nancy, but nancy cant. she lost jonathan to her in a confusing and dizzying manner.

steve slowly clings onto bug when he and nancy break up. bug stays with dustin and dart still while jonathan and nancy go to murray, and its this point that steve realizes his crush on bug. itd be his first time spending time with only bug and no jonathan. i think hed have the same panic bug had when she realized she liked steve in season 1. he would immediately pull away, he doesnt want bug to ever think hed betray her trust like that.

bug would be sad, but she would assume its because of nancy, and she'd leave him alone.

bug and jonathan are the annoyingly happy and content couple everyone hates. theyre so easily happy with the other, everything lovely and tender. theyre a bit creepy, tbh. jonathan will hand bug water without her having to say anything and bug would grab jon a pen the second he wants to draw. their unspoken communication grows even more, to the point that el genuinely thinks they share her powers for a second lmao.

season 3 i think maybe theyd argue over bug maybe losing her job due to the mall and jon and his annoying bosses. maybe he complains about his lack of real photography opportunities and bug is like ???? dude im about to lose my job pls read the room. i think this fight would cause bug to run to steve at scoops because she doesnt really have any other friends and she misses him - and this is how she gets stuck in the russian lair !

steve and bug bond some more while trapped. steves crush on her intensifies and shes oblivious to it, though robin sees through steve immediately lmao. during the bathroom stall scene, its the same except robin urges steve to confess his feelings for bug and bug is just there like wow wonder who we're talking about ! anyways i love my bf very much i miss jonathan :(

reunite scene. jon was so worried about bugs sudden disappearance and i think honestly this only strengthens their relationship. steve sees their reunion and he stands next to nancy, the two of them watching you and jonathan with regret and longing.

season 4 the byers move and bug is genuinely heartbroken. its a whole new type of pain, and because steve is a masochist, he helps her. he practically becomes the new jonathan. spending all his time with bug, always willing to wipe her tears, and bug truly thinks its because hes a good friend. never would she imagine hes in love with her. jonathan still pulls away as he does in canon. he wouldnt tell bug he never applied to nyu, and she becomes really anxious and insecure.

see season 4 i can see this spinning into a "hooray ! steve and bug together now !" really easily. steve becomes bugs only form of comfort tbh. hes there when jonathan isnt, but at the end of it all, jonathan is bugs first true and real love, and i dont think she'd ever be able to forget him and see steve in any capacity besides a friend.

season 4 would just be steves quiet acceptance season. he loves bug with everything, but she doesnt love him. and hes ok with it, because at least shes his friend, right ? at least she calls him a silly name and holds his hand when he gets scared.

I was telling @dancingsunflowers-ocs how I was interested in potentially using Kit Connor and Joe Locke as fcs for anything, but was struggling due to their amazing on-screen chemistry in Heartstopper making it hard for me to pair them up with other fcs. First, we have Frederick “Freddie” Peters

Reggie’s younger brother who he never met

After Reggie’s death, his parents moved into the same neighborhood as Julie’s parents and had Freddie

He never knew about his older brother because their parents never talked about him

Was still heavily influenced by him through his music taste (their parents never got rid of Reggie’s music collection so they gave it to Freddie), as well as learning to play the drums

Alex becomes his idol once he starts getting to know the band through Julie

Julie and Flynn are his best friends, and whenever things are rough at home, he goes and stays with one of them

He doesn’t learn about Reggie and that he’s apart of Julie’s new band until he found an old picture of him at his house the same day Julie performs with the boys and gets back into the music program

Julie kind of meditates between the two of them since the boys can only be seen by her, but it’s a pretty emotional meeting

Oh, fun fact, in this story, Bobby and Trevor are two separate people (I’m making Trevor Bobby’s older brother because I’ve seen people do that in certain JatP fanfics), so that means Bobby died with Luke, Reggie, and Alex and Reggie and Bobby are bfs because I will die on the Boggie hill

Basically what that means is my bi king Reggie is super proud and supportive when finding out his little brother is gay

He tries to help Freddie with his longtime crush with disastrous results, which brings me now to…

Samuel “Sam” Anderson

A fellow lacrosse player with Nick, as well as a good friend

CANNOT understand why he is dating Carrie as she is not the nicest person (he also beginning to suspect that she might prefer girls over boys given the amount of times he’s seen her staring at Flynn when no one’s looking)

Adores Julie, but thinks she can do better than Nick (he loves his friend, but Nick is not what Julie needs in his opinion)

Is not musically inclined, but is an extremely talented photographer

Flynn asks him to help her with Julie and the Phantoms’ social media and he agrees

He does it because it’s good practice and he loves the band, but the main reason he does it is so he can get closer to Freddie
