Did Henry Push Scott Off Of A Quarry In Nevada?
So, in TFS, it’s mentioned that right before the Creels moved to Nevada, Henry had ended up putting a boy in a wheelchair (Walter presents it as if Henry just broke the boy’s arm, but then Virginia expands on it & says that he put the boy in a wheelchair).
And people seem to assume that Henry attacked the boy the same way that he accidentally attacked Prancer- but this is never confirmed, and I’m actually wondering if Henry pushed the boy off of a quarry in Rachel/in Nevada, especially since there ARE quarries there.
And I’m staring directly at the Mike-Scott parallels & at Troy urging Mike to jump off of the quarry & that being the scene where El breaks Troy’s arm (which, again, Walter says that Henry “broke a kid’s arm” in Rachel), and the fact James pointed out to me that Hopper and Callahan talk about how you’d “break every bone in your body,” if you fell off of the quarry and I’m also staring at George Burness in ST claiming that he jumped off and survived vs the “George,” from the TFS auditions…
And Nightmare On Elm Street: Dream Warriors is on the S4 board- which, in that movie, there’s a kid named Will Stanton, who ended up in a wheelchair because he “took a jump,” seemingly to try and kill himself, but Will himself refers to his injuries as an “accident,” which, in TFS, Victor refers to Henry putting the boy in the wheelchair as being a “mistake.”
And I don’t know about you, but when we look at Will Stanton, the dark hair and general look really reminds me of Scott- and even though Scott doesnt have those glasses, Fred from ST4 does, and like I’ve talked about in other posts, Fred has Scott parallels.
Will Stanton is also a DND nerd, just like Scott.
(And he also has this whole Kali and El butterfly scene esque scene, but that’s a whole other can of worms)
And re: the boy being Scott, Scott isn’t in a wheelchair, obviously, but we don’t know if the boy that Henry put in a wheelchair was in a wheelchair permanently- it couldve just been temporary, as you can’t really use crutches for a broken leg if you also have a broken arm.
And we also dont know if the wheelchair incident happened before or after Henry got flayed- i wonder if it was part of it, if there was a cave near a quarry & some sort of accident/fall happened or something, i just. Hm.
Anyway! Many thoughts.

RE-INTRODUCING: CELESTE MORRIS
Full Name: Celeste Margaret Morris
Birthdate: October 9th, 1993
Hair Color: Light Brown
Eye Color: Brown
Species: Human
Family: Miriam Morris, née Lawson (Mother), Steven Morris (Father, deceased), Margaret Lawson (Maternal Grandmother, deceased)
Love Interest: Rachel Berry
Friends: Mike Chang, Artie Abrams, Tina Cohen-Chang, Mercedes Jones, Kurt Hummel, Brittany S. Pierce, Sam Evans, Unique Adams
Likes: Astronomy, acting, everything soft, snack cakes, the color blue, her mother and grandmother, 90s movies, nail polish, energy drinks, vibrant colors
Dislikes: Bullies, action movies, gossip, pretty much any music after 2010, the ocean, heat
Phobias: Spiders
Style: Kinda school girl chic but she mixes it up as well, skirts and blouses with stockings and dress shoes, but will also just dress like an 80s final girl some days, knows how to dress up for fancy functions, always wears rings and necklaces, has a special necklace with her birth stone
Speech: American accent, kind of sultry voice, very sweet speech, 50/50 on cursing
Physical Quirks/Scars: Has a scar on her left shoulder which she acquired when she fell off the roof while stargazing
Personality: Sweet, demure, socially akward, shy, protective, loyal, easily falls in love, bit of a pushover, harmony-seeking
Background: Celeste was born and raised in Lima, Ohio, under the watchful eye of her parents. At seven years old, she loses her father to an accident, which throws her mother into a spiral so bad her grandmother moves into town to look after both of them. Margaret Lawson doted on her granddaughter, teaching her what it is like to be a proper lady and always having her tag along at events. Celeste grows to tolerate it, but she has never liked being the center of attention, often opting to stick to the refreshment table at parties instead of socializing. Celeste has always had her head in the stars, just not in a daydreaming way (mostly, anyways). Then comes the summer before Sophomore year of high school, when her grandmother takes her mom and herself to a fancy resort where she, unfortunately at first, runs into one Rachel Berry. Though quickly, Rachel becomes her only solace in a resort filled mostly with people over the age of thirty. On their last night there, things get hot and heavy, but both of them decide to leave it at that and focus on their respective high school career paths. Celeste immerses herself into the astronomers club once more while also taking on little roles in plays put on by the local youth center and funded by her grandmother. It is there that she ends up being thrust into the role of Frenchy in Grease and falls in love with being on stage. Then Margaret dies. Miriam is sent into another tailspin, which throws Celeste’s entire life off track. There is nothing she can do to help, and school isn’t getting any better with Rachel breathing down her neck about joining the New Directions to buff their numbers. Celeste can’t join them, not when she still has a raging crush on Rachel, who would rather pine after the quarterback who accidentally impregnated his head cheerleader girlfriend. Oh, but it wasn’t actually him, but rather his best friend, which she now knows as well. Now more than anything, Celeste Morris wishes she could fly to the moon and never come back to Earth.
Faceclaim: Maude Apatow

here's my big brain take. (i never watched the later seasons and refuse to believe katrina had an affair with a man with a newborn baby?? or something.) katrina is a lesbian <3 and rachel is bi af. and I'm fine with mike/rachel but obbbbviously mike/harvey is THE pairing. and. listen. katrina/rachel. the few scenes they worked together they were SO GOOD. and they both love the ballet. both foodies. katrina gets on great with rachel's dad. and made rachel feel really good re: him too. AND katrina and mike's friendship is the best.
hi sweet anon this has been sitting in my inbox for MONTHS! i apologize
katrina is absolutely sapphic, though personally i headcanon her as bi. but yes omg katrina/rachel has SOOO much potential like god truly an enemies to lovers storyline!!!!!

I mean if we talking about looks josh oconnor and if we talking about acting mike and josh are pretty fairly even but I'll give the edge to josh. I know mike hasnt been it alot of films but hes great in theatre and really knows how to command the stage( I also really liked him in that pinball movie and his very small role in bikeriders along with west side story). However josh is just a gifted performer, has natural chemistry and always brings these nauaced and layered performances, La chimera his other upcoming film hes fanatstic and speaks italian for 95 % of the film.
Side note: ansel was the worst part of west side story, was so stiff and lifeless compare that to mike faist, danny ramirez , ariana debose amd rachel zelger who each had great moments ansel on other hand was giving nothing 😭😭😭
Yes! Agree with so much of this 👏🏾
I think Mike and Josh are both great actors. That's one of the reasons why I can't wait to see them in "Challengers" with Z 😊
I haven't seen as many of their projects as you have, but when I go to watch smthg of theirs, I'm never worried that their performance is going to be bad or lackluster, cuz it's always hitting. 💯
Which pinball movie are you referring to that Mike did. And you've already seen "The Bikeriders"? 👀 I'm excited to see Mike, Tom, and Austin in that. 😃
I looooved Josh in "The Crown"! 🥰 He did such an awesome job in that series. 👏🏾 Haven't seen his other work though, but I've always heard good things about his performance.
Re: Ansel....
I didn't think he was awful in West Side Story, I just don't know if he was the best person for that role. 🤔 I'm not sure how much chemistry I sensed btwn him and Rachel either. But hey, he can sing and dance... 🤷🏾♀️ Rachel and Ariana were amazing though. 👏🏾 Mike was great too. You can tell he comes from the stage.
I'll never forget how they couldn't even promote the film as much as they needed to because of Ansel's r*pe allegations. 😫😩

A bunch of movies and some new fiction!
Good evening!
You can get these updates directly in your email inbox here.
So firstly, I dug into some self-examination the past few days and made a list of regular themes and character archetypes I play with across my body of work. It's not a complete list of everything I could possibly think of, but it's a lot to be getting on with.
So Predictable: A Big List includes examples of a whole lot of different themes and story tones and regularly recurring archetypes I use, and I'd really love to hear people's responses and takes! Any archetypes you think I've missed, or more you think I should add to certain lists? Any themes you think I regularly do that I haven't mentioned here?
This was a really fun exercise to do, especially because I've got such a large body of work and so many different characters, and while I realised I regularly do certain ones again and again, it was still different to see them all written down together.
A bunch of media recs this week, so let's go through them:
The History of Africa Podcast - I don't normally listen to podcasts as I struggle to concentrate on them, but I've been enjoying listening to some episodes of this! Obviously Africa is a massive continent with hundreds upon hundreds of disparate cultures and histories, but this cast is very upfront about that reality whilst also covering as much ground as possible in deep detail, and it's really fun.
The Kominsky Method (2018-2021) - These three series are Netflix originals, starring Alan Arkin and Michael Douglas, and are written and produced by Chuck Lorre, who was responsible for the likes of Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, Mike and Molly, etc. For how mean-spirited a lot of these shows tend to be, I was really surprised by how deeply human this show is - there's a lot of self-examination and self-reflection going on where Lorre is explicitly exploring his own body of comedic work, and that makes a lot of sense given that this is largely a series about the grief and the difficulties that come with growing older and looking back on the legacies one leaves. A lot of this series has genuinely made me laugh, especially Alan Arkin's role as a crotchety old bastard to whom I unfortunately relate - it also feels like a very honest look at an older cishet white dude who is kind of doing his best to not be a piece of shit re: marginalised communities, but isn't very good at it, whether he's trying or not? It attempts at times to be "tongue-in-cheek" while making commentary about racism, antisemitism, homophobia, and other bigotries within the show - one thing that really stood out to me is that in the absolute first episode Michael Douglas is talking about whether an actor is a he, a she, and then looks at a white person with a short haircut and is like "they?" and they nod, and he's like, "a they" or something... And that person never has any dialogue for the rest of the show. Which is hilarious. In general, I would say that where most of the show is not hugely dickish (esp not in comparison to other Chuck Lorre shows), there's an ongoing theme of it attempting to grapple with nonbinary ideas, genderfluidity, neopronouns, and so on, including Morgan Freeman playing a nonbinary reboot of Doctor Quincy, and while it's not as bad as many shows and honestly doesn't come off as mean-spirited as most nonbinary references in a show, it's not great. Despite those aspects, I do still recommend it, and I actually really love his cast of acting students, those scenes are probably my favourites.
Red Eye (2005, dir. Wes Craven) - You know, I really fucking loved this movie, it's such a fun little flick - I love Rachel McAdams, I don't always like his roles but Cillian Murphy always gives an interesting performance, and like... So much works in such a tight and constrained space in this movie, the script is so fucking clean with such sharp performances, there's a bazooka... It's class. It's great.
The Founder (2016, dir. John Lee Hancock) - This movie was interesting, definitely took some turns I wouldn't ordinarily expect. It's really fucked up, honestly, and it takes how fucked up its story is and runs with it, paints everything in feel-good colours whilst being clear that it's not remotely feel-good in concept, and I really loved that juxtaposition. Michael Keaton often feels kind of false and oily in his roles anyway, and that comes off perfectly in this when he's meant to come off that way.
Also, I don't recommend Hope Springs (2012, dir. David Frankel) with Tommy Lee Jones, Steve Carrell, and Meryl Streep, and I don't recommend it, but I did review it here.

So, here’s a mish-mash of multi-fandoms. As always, you can find my master rec collection here.

The Lockhart House was once a home, although it was never a happy one. Steeped in tragedy, it still stands today, in the heart of Old Town Roswell, attracting ghost hunters and those seeking to catch a peak of something from beyond the veil.
Contrary to popular myth, it wasn’t currently haunted (except by one paranormally talented docent). It was Michael’s favorite job and the best part of his summer home from UNM. Or at least was until Alex Manes was hired to man the gift shop, complicating an otherwise fun and easy job.

Michael tossed his hat on the coffee table and dropped onto the couch. "If you mean that your dad's been dead since CrashCon and some kind of crazy shit is going on, then yeah, I agree."

Glee Kids and their Preferred Mike Schur shows
(note, only doing what are considered the ones hes known for, aka creator/co-creator, aka Parks and Rec, B99, and The Good Place).
Parks and Recreation
Blaine (is a a perfect mix of Leslie and Ben, possible soul child? can quote the Patton Oswalt's star wars filibuster)
Quinn (likes how it acknowledges its an idealised version of government while also just being an idealised version of government, also women in power)
Mercedes (loves that its a perfect mix of seriousness, humor, and romance, without it being too much of only one quality)
Sam (same reasons as Blaine, but idolises Ron Swanson to the point of creating a mini wood carved statue of him)
Brooklyn Nine Nine
Puck (though his whole attitude suggests he wouldn't like a show about cops, he thinks its bad-ass and hilarious. also big Terry Crews fan)
Finn (thinks its just funny and Amy reminds him of Rachel)
Santana (loves it for the representation, also #1 Stephanie Beatriz fan)
Mike (only cop show hes ever loved *shoves law and order dvds under his bed* and particularly enjoys the arc story-lines )
Tina (#1 Melissa Fumero fan. Likes that the show isn't stressful or hard to watch while also still being well-written)
The Good Place
Kurt (though still isn't sure about the afterlife in general, likes the idea that it could just be about being a good person)
Rachel (likes how it makes you think, even though the almond milk thing gave her anxiety for a week)
Brittany (has an obsession with Ted Danson, also claims to have been to The Good Place)
Artie (also has an obsession with Ted Danson, as well as a crush on Kristen Bell. (and a secret one on Manny Jancito))
Other
Sue enjoys re-runs of Sue's Corner and Cheer-leading competitions.
Will likes The Office (USA) but only the seasons after Michael left and only likes the seasons Andy was manager

It Weakens Me, It Tracks Me: Soteria vs Brenner's Fitbit
So, today, Stav @heroesbyler told me that Brenner seems to have some sort of modern fitbit-esque watch in this scene (originally noticed here on reddit) and Stav mentioned that this could tie into Brenner having some sort of advanced/alternate universe technology:
But why would Brenner need this sort of device? Well:
I'm wondering if that "watch" is the companion device for Soteria- if that's how Brenner is able to track Henward.
After all, it does really resemble modern GPS tracking watches...
Now, I know that people might be saying that this is just an error and Modine forgot to take his modern watch off. And while that might be the case, I think there's also some counterpoints that support this not being a mistake. 1.) It's right there. It's center screen. How did NOBODY notice this when shooting and editing and colour grading? And it's not just a matter of "not wanting to reshoot the shot," because there's so many interviews and podcasts with cast and crew members where they talk about how particular the Duffers are and how they'll plan and reshoot things until things are exactly how they want it.
2.) There's SO much focus on watches in ST, especially in S1 (see: Mike giving El his watch and her staring at it/repeating the time while she's waiting for Mike and then El having a lab flashback), so it seems odd that they'd ignore such a key thing for Brenner's costuming (unless, of course, that IS his watch, and it's intentional that it's modern-looking)
3.) The lab (and specifically Brenner) having access to more advanced technology is not at all out of the realm of possibility- the man has a memory simulation time travel machine that he uses to brainwash kids. Getting a GPS watch is nothing. Especially considering all of the anachromisms in TFS (see: Rachel, Nevada not existing until 1978 but being mentioned in TFS, the song "Chuck E's In Love" being referenced in TFS but not coming out until the 70s), so the idea of things from the future ending up in the past is very much on the table.
4.) Modine himself is very particular about Brenner's outfits- he was the one who told the Duffers what specific type of shoes he wanted Brenner to wear, for example.
So- was this the way that Brenner was able to track Henward? Especially when we consider the idea of multiple Henwards and that there might be a Henward (or more than one Henward) that didn't get Soteria removed. And hell, what happened to Soteria after it was removed? Did Brenner re-implant it into somebody? Did he implant it into the Demogorgon or something?
There's also something about the whole "tracking Henward via soteria" thing vs the way that the party uses the compass to find the gate in S4 and S1... something about electromagnetic fields is rattling around in my brain in that regard. Anyway! Lots to think about.

A grumpy Tom Hanks stars in 'A Man Called Otto'
LOS ANGELES
Sentimental tales about grumpy old men and American decline have, until recently, typically been the domain of Clint Eastwood.
But in “A Man Called Otto,” Marc Forster's adaptation of Fredrik Backman's bestseller and a remake of the 2016 Swedish film “A Man Called Ove,” it's Tom Hanks prowling the neighborhood and irritably grumbling about how things used to be. In the original, Rolf Lassgård richly inhabited the role of Ove, a curmudgeonly widower — a Forrest Grump —whose suicide attempts are foiled by needy neighbors and, ultimately, his grudging, sincere devotion to them.
Exasperation, whether directed at a crying ballplayer or a slobbering canine, has always been squarely in Hanks' wheelhouse. But despondency or even plain get-off-my-lawn orneriness are less obvious traits possessed by the actor sometimes called “America's Dad.” Following Hanks' villainous turn as Col. Tom Parker in “Elvis,” the 66-year-old has found in “A Man Called Otto” another role that interestingly, if not always entirely successfully, caters to his strengths while tweaking his familiar screen presence.
It also may rob “A Man Called Otto," which opens with Otto buying rope to hang himself with, of some of its spirit. We know there are dark roads that Hanks just isn't going to go down, and some of the early, more caustic scenes of Forster's film strike a false note. But as “A Man Called Otto” makes its way through Otto's life, cutting between his present-day squabbles and flashbacks of happier times with his wife, Sonya (Rachel Keller), Hanks movingly tailors the role to himself. How "A Man Called Otto” unfolds won't surprise anyone, but it does the trick for a little post-holidays heart-warming.
“A Man Called Otto” is set in the prefab row-house development Otto has long lived in, where he tirelessly tisk-tisks any rule breakers, re-sorts misplaced recycling and berates drivers who violate the street's regulation against through traffic.
Screenwriter David Magee ("Life of Pi," “Finding Neverland”) hues closely to the Swedish film as a kind of parable of community. Up and down the street are all the people the freshly retired Otto barely tolerates: friends-turned-enemies (Peter Lawson Jones, Juanita Jennings), a friendly exerciser (a delightful Cameron Britton), a transgender paper deliverer and former student of Otto's wife (Mack Bayda). Most of all there is Marisol (a terrific Mariana Treviño), a pregnant mother of two has just moved in with her husband (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo). Various needs — a stray cat, a borrowed ladder, driving lessons — intrude on Otto's desires for a peaceful death and, in between aborted suicide attempts, gradually rekindle his will to live.
It's sometimes too broadly drawn. Mike Birbiglia plays a predatory real estate agent from a company not-so-subtly called Dye & Merica. (“Sounds like Dying America, which it is,” says Otto.) But “A Man Called Otto” is less after realism than it is a modern-day fable, with shades of Scrooge and the Grinch. As a tale of a solitary man, Hanks has made it a poignant work of family. Rita Wilson, his wife, is a producer and is heard singing a song in the film. The younger Otto is played in flashbacks by their son, Truman Hanks. Even Chet Hanks' “White Boy Summer” blares from a car radio.
Another tune, though, is a more thrilling needle drop. The less said probably the better, but suffice to say, it could be a sign that the Kate Bush renaissance so hearteningly kicked up by “Stranger Things” has not yet abated. If that's not life-affirming, I don't know what is.
"A Man Called Otto,” a Sony Pictures release, is rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association for mature thematic material involving suicide attempts, and language. Running time: 126 minutes. Two and a half stars out of four.

A graphic of that poll.
Maybe Ramaswamy would be ahead of Mike Pence if he didn’t favor raising the voting age to 25. 😝
Vivek doesn’t take his own vote very seriously. So nobody should take voting for him seriously. Like all the GOP candidates except Christie, Hurd, and (maybe) Hutchinson, he’s just trying to out-Trump Trump. Why would far right MAGA voters pick knockoffs when they can get the original?
Trump has proven one thing. The old practice of a GOP candidate moving more to the center when elected president is no longer a thing. If anything, Trump became even more extreme. And his runner up has been on a similar trajectory. After DeSantis got re-elected governor of Florida, he goose-stepped in his white boots as far to the right as he could go without falling into the red hot Gulf.
The only way to beat a Republican is to vote Democratic. Third party vanity candidates don’t win. Just ask President Ralph Nader (2000), President Jill Stein (2016), President Gary Johnson (also 2016), and President John B. Anderson (1980) – to name a few. As Rachel Maddow said: “If you vote for somebody who can’t win for president, it means that you don’t care who wins for president.”
With Republicans putting fascism on the table again, 2024 is an even worse time than normal to putz around with fantasy candidates. Pro-democracy voters in the US are in the majority, but that will make no difference unless they vote as a majority.
Bad news for the “war against woke” — the new New York Times/Siena poll has former President Donald Trump trouncing his GOP competition in the 2024 primary, but one of the biggest losing battles is Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R) ongoing focus on the culture wars.
While there are many takeaways from the poll among Republicans who are likely planning to vote in the GOP primary, one of them presents a major conundrum for DeSantis. Semafor’s Benjy Sarlin pointed out on Twitter that among the priorities of these voters, fighting “woke” corporations is low on the list.

Re - Suits salary
It seems Bowers source may have been Suits creator Aaron Korsh himself. There some detail veginny of the chapter that only Aaron (or someone on his close team) may have known. Like how Suits was initially conceptualized to be about Wall Street bankers but later changed to lawyers.
Like the character synopsis for Mike Ross and Rachel Zane as Aaron had thought in his mind (and what may have been sent out to scout for auditions). Like how Aaron was impressed when he met Meghan for lunch in LA after confirming her part, and she totally charmed him by telling him she was a foodie. And how he incorporated some of her personality in Rachel Zane.
Like how everyone agreed she was the best choice for Zane but still 6th on call sheet as she was the worst actor on the show. And stayed 6th even later seasons. How the cahracter wasn't initially inteded to be biracial etc etc
He says he was worried because all the actors were a bit disappointed the show would be shot in Canada but Meghan was really eager to leave and asked to stay back in Toronto even after Nov when the shooting ended.
Acc to this source she was paid 50k per episode for 2 seasons. Then bumped to 75k season3 onwards. The salary is weird but also the fact that they really brought in big designers to dress the characters. That must have cost as well.
It gives the impression that it's the money that got to her head. Esp in regards to Trever, who was still struggling. She probably was making more than him.
interesting. the creator and creative team doesn’t always know about the salaries though, or the ins and out of the budget. It just doesn’t make sense to me. She had a much thinner resume than the rest of her costars. Suits just isn’t an expensively produced show. As for wardrobe: Patricia field famously sourced the majority of clothes for Sex and the City at Century21, a discount store in lower Manhattan.

quarantining or how quinn might lose it, once for all. (T) - 8 Chapters - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn - It starts like the worst horror movie ever but instead of being trapped in the basement of a creepy 50-something year old, Quinn finds herself being trapped in Rachel Berry's basement.
Once More From the Top (T) - 22 Chapters - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn, Brittany/Santana and others - Here's what you missed on Glee: McKinley's Glee Club reformed under the direction of Will Schuester. Also contains, Brittana, Klaine, Tike and Samcedes content, plotlines back at McKinley, and frequent use of Santana POV.
All The Best (T, but I would rate M for descriptive scenes of suicide, eating disorders, rape, etc.) - 80 Chapters - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn and Brittany/Santana - After spending the entire summer away, Quinn is eager to get back to normal and make the best of her junior year. Excited to put everything behind her and start fresh, she struggles to establish a new normal. take these broken wings (M) - 4 Part Series - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn, Brittany/Santana and Kurt/Sam - Begins in Season one and follows Quinn through her life should she have chosen to keep Beth, realize she is gay, and fall in love with Rachel Berry. The main romantic relationship will be Faberry, with a bit of Hevans and Brittana, but apart from Faberry it will be very heavy on friendship and Quinn&Beth oriented.
the state of dreaming (T) - 3 Chapters - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn - Rachel couldn’t help the guilt that bubbled in her chest when she watched Quinn get a prom photo alone. Determined to make it up to her, she invites Quinn over for a sleepover. It becomes a routine. Set immediately after 2x20 (Prom Queen).
Enough to Believe (T) - 2 Chapters - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn - Years after Shelby ups and disappears from Lima with Beth, a blonde girl shows up on Rachel and Quinn's doorstep, armed with a lot of questions, and very familiar cheekbones.
you and her loathing this cruel world (M) - 3 Chapters - Pairings: Quinn/Rachel, minor Kurt/Quinn and Kurt/Sam - "Of all the girls he had to have sex with (which really, were none), of course it was someone with a painting of Jesus above her bed, so he knows that his only hope in hell that this will go away is in a negative test result." Season 1 AU; Kurt is pretty sure he's gay, but would like to make sure. Quinn Fabray has similar questions running through her mind. It's supposed to be a new beginning, but what she doesn't count on is immediately becoming enemies with the most popular girl in school: Rachel Berry, co-captain of Vocal Adrenaline.
The Lopez Manifesto (T) - 8 Chapters - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn and Brittany/Santana - santana starts writing a rachel/quinn fanfic for everyone at McKinley. it’s also extremely popular as everyone awaits her weekly updates. (usually based on what the girls are doing that week.) quinn is the last to find out and is… pissed.
my heart’s a leather jacket I am waiting to give to someone sweet (T) - 15 Chapters - Pairings: Brittany/Santana - Brittany is McKinley’s resident broody rebel who doesn’t see much point to high school, and who, completely incidentally, just so happens to be kind of a math genius. Santana is Lima's golden child, the perfect and unapproachable only child of public figure Dr. Lopez. She’s also the high school’s enigma; no one actually knows anything about her aside from the fact that she’s cold, distant, terrifying, aloof, and willing to eviscerate anyone who looks at her the wrong way. Unfortunately for her, Brittany is about to get a crash course in the complete mystery that is Santana Lopez when she is asked—or, more realistically, forced—to be Santana's math tutor.
Dead Girls Don’t Sing (T) - 39 Chapters - Pairings: Brittany/Santana, Rachel/Quinn, Kurt/Blaine and Tina/Mike - S3 AU. Brittany doesn't believe in unicorns anymore, Rachel's dreams are as dead as the world, Santana is no one's hero…and Quinn? Quinn's just trying to breathe. The world as they knew it is gone -now all they can do is survive. Zombie Apocalypse. Faberrittana Friendship. Slow Burn Faberry. Character Death. COMPLETE
Simple Parts (T) - 13 Chapters - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn and Brittany/Santana - That awkward moment when you travel thirty years forward in time and find out you're married to your high school nemesis? Yeah, it totally sucks...except...maybe it doesn't.

half of me (T) - 4 Chapters - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn - a run-in (quite literally) at the bookstore, two broadway tickets, and a seven-year-old in a plaid catholic-school uniform. what has rachel gotten herself into? future AU where quinn has beth and rachel makes it on broadway.
April Fools (T) - 10 Chapters - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn - Santana recruits - forces - Rachel to help her prank Quinn. All she has to do is pretend that a love potion has caused her to fall madly in love with the cheerleader. Simple, right? Wrong. Faberry.

Multi-chapter (incomplete/in progress):
Everyone's Gonna Know Now (T) - 8 Chapters (Incomplete) - Pairings: Brittany/Santana - 3/4 in series - When Santana confronted Finn about outing her, his response was, "The whole school already knows." That was pretty much true. This story is about the first moment or incident in which each member of Glee - and a few others - discovered Santana's secret.
Be Okay (M) - 2 Chapters (Incomplete) - Pairings: Brittany/Santana - “Kurt doesn’t know why he does it. It’s not as if he and Santana had ever had anything resembling a friendship, but he feels drawn to her, feels connected to the anguish in her voice as she realized that her biggest secret in the world was about to be revealed.“ This is the evolution of Kurt and Santana’s friendship taking place over a series of one-shots.

But, her efforts prove to be moot when Rachel Berry, armed with her own secrets of the past, arrives at Dalton Academy and manages to turn both their worlds upside down - or, perhaps, right way up. Faberry. Trigger Warnings.
I’m not breaking, I won’t take it (M, read warnings) - 2 Chapters (Incomplete) - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn and minor Quinn/Santana - Santana gets up and starts toward her, “Jesus, what happened to you?” she mumbles, but she's softer than she was moment before. It's obvious that she’s concerned. Quinn chokes down a sob and then admits, “There’s something wrong with me.”“Hey, listen. Whatever it is, you’re going to be fine." Santana is still not getting it, but she’s rubbing soothing little circles on Quinn’s shoulders. There really must be something wrong with her too, because then Quinn is lunging forward and then she’s kissing Santana. Quinn feels her freeze, but then Santana relaxes and she’s kissing her back. or, a study in quinn fabray.

we were built to fall apart (then fall back together) (T) - 8 Chapters (Incomplete) - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn and Brittany/Santana - Rachel and Quinn haven't seen each other for seven years and neither thought they'd see the other again. They certainly didn't see themselves starring together in a Broadway musical, as each other's love interests.
A Different Life (E) - 33 Chapters (Incomplete) - Pairings: Brittany/Santana, Finn/Rachel and Kurt/Blaine - Canon!Divergent Brittana. Santana and Brittany move to New York after high school. Everything is going perfectly until Brittany gets a phone call that changes everything. Seven years later, Santana has a daughter and she and Britt haven't seen each other...Canon until 3x16ish. baby you don't gotta fight (i'll be here til the end of time) (GA) - One-shot - Pairings: Brittany/Santana - She sees red for all of last period, a strange twinge of pain in her chest because all these people think they know Santana but they’re all wrong. or: three times Brittany tells people they've got Santana all wrong and the one time she tells Santana
The Unicorn Tapestries (NR) - One-shot - Pairings: Brittany/Santana - We lie on our stomachs on my pale blue sheets, a book lying open in front of us that we bend our heads over, sunlight all over the page and bringing bits of gold out in your skin..
But You Could Sing (NR) - One-shot - Pairings: Brittany/Santana - Why am I always the one who tells bedtime stories? Because your stories are prettier, BrittBritt. But you can tell real ones. Like what?
Colors (NR) - One-shot - Pairings: Brittany/Santana - The sunlight in my room shines from the south. The way I know: when I lean far out my window, the sun rises on the side where I can feel my heartbeat, and sets in the direction of my writing hand.
You’re Something Else (T) - One-shot - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn - 'Quinn gets the impression she and Rachel are finally on the same page about what may or may not be happening between them. All she really knows is that it's colourful.'
Raising the Bar (M) - One-shot - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn and minor/implied Brittany/Santana - Quinn never expected that the best matchmaker would turn out to be a lumpy pullout couch.
the one with the friends reference (T) - One-shot - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn, minor/implied Brittany/Santana and minor/implied Kurt/Blaine - "You can see it. Quinn standing in front of you, as close as she can get without touching you and saying, 'Are you attracted to me?'" Faberry. Post-season six.
Blame it on the Alcohol (or the gay, whatever) (T) - One-shot - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn and minor/implied Brittany/Santana - “I can’t believe what you did to my body, I used to have abs!” - In which one sentence is totally incorrect and causes chaos and havoc and Faberry feelings to happen. Also known as drunk Rachel is kyoot and Finn is stoopid.
could you pass in love? (T) - One-shot - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn and Brittany/Santana - “'Quinn Fabray, I will divorce you, don’t think I won’t!'” In which Rachel and Quinn get married, sending them into a possibly out-of-character feelings frenzy . Season Three. Faberry.
Do You Wanna Know How This Story Plays Out? (T) - One-shot - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn - It's not her fault that you feel the way you do about women, you know that, and you knew that then, too. But you've been angry at Rachel Berry for making you feel things you wanted to lock away for years, and it was far too easy to put all of the blame on her to avoid dealing with your own feelings. It wasn't and isn't fair, but it was about protecting yourself and it makes it a little easier to bear. - OR - After everything implodes with Finn, Quinn moves in with Rachel. They make out a lot without ever talking about how much more it means to both of them. Introspective Closeted!Quinn POV from second-person.
you succeed at being mine (T) - One-shot - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn and Kurt/Sam - Sequel to 'you and her loathing this cruel world'.
This Must Be The Place (T) - One-shot - Pairings: Brittany/Santana - Santana is eight years old when her Tio Carlos joins the Army. Or the less-cracky-than-you-might-expect Glee/The Losers crossover where Cougar is Santana's uncle. (If it tells you anything, i nearly titled this 'Ohana Means Family.')
This Modern Love (T) - One-shot - Pairings: Brittany/Santana - "How do you know when you're dating someone?"
Beth’s family tree (GA) - One-shot - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn - "Now that being said, my family tree is composed by both my biological family and my adoptive family" Beth explains easily enough as she clicks the mouse. But then the next slide appears and the teacher gapes at all the information, names, colours and arrows in the diagram.
pictures of you, pictures of me (hung upon the wall, for the world to see) (T) - One-shot - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn and Brittany/Santana - "Quinn looked around her room again. She'd never noticed it before, but she had a lot of pictures of Rachel." or: a faberry oneshot set between seasons 1 and 2 where Quinn reflects on a series of moments with Rachel that led to where she is now
anything could happen (T) - One-shot - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn - She stared down at the test in her hand. The line was faint, disappearing depending on the angle. It was possible she was just seeing things, but still. She pulled out her cell phone, tears running down her flushed cheeks. It felt like the earth could open up at any second, just swallow her whole. The line rang. Once, twice, she cursed quietly. She sucked in a breath as she heard a click signifying the call had connected."Hello? Rachel?" Her voice cracked. "Quinn. I need your help." A Faberry-centric rewrite of Rachel's season 4 pregnancy scare
Frannie’s View (T) - One-shot - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn - When Frannie was a child she did everything she could to make her father happy. She was a daddy’s girl through and through. She was quiet and never disrespectful. She went to church every Sunday with her mother and father and prayed every night. Frannie had a lot of friends at school and was popular and well liked. She did very well in school though her participation grades were always low. Daddy told her women were supposed to be quiet and always treat their husbands with respect. She was a princess and he was the King. He ruled the house. Frannie absolutely hated the way her father treated her little sister. Frannie desperately tried to change Lucy. She thought if Lucy could be better then their father would be happier, nicer. OR A journey from Frannie's perspective of Lucy/Quinn and Quinn's sexuality and later feelings for Rachel.
According to Judy (PG) - One-shot - Pairings: Rachel/Quinn - How Judy Fabray deals with Quinn's infatuation with Rachel.
