14. where do you get your inspiration?

usually if i don't see fics specifically dealing with what i want to read, i start thinking about what ifs, and then the fic gets written. so for my challengers fics, those started with all the questions and thoughts i had about what art & tashi's lives + relationship were like during the moments we didn't see in the movie. so i feel like i'm the epitome of that post i see floating around a lot being like, "if you don't see the kind of fics you want to read, write it yourself" lol

16. favorite place to write

on the couch 😭 or in bed. i guess i just want to be reclining and super comfortable

17. talk about your writing and editing process

most of the time, a line will pop into my head, so once it does, i write it down and then start building the idea from there. i have an hour long commute to my job, so i spend a lot of time coming up with dialogue, plot, etc. and doing voice notes in my phone while i drive 😭 i'll also find a song that fits the vibe of what i'm trying to write, and i'll listen to it on repeat. 97% of my challengers fic titles come from the taylor swift song i had on repeat that i felt fit the vibe. as for editing, i feel like i'm super technical about it because i'm primarily looking at syntax. i have a tendency to get repetitive in how my sentences are structured, so i spend a lot of time making sure i'm switching up the kind of sentences i use!!
