oh he has issues issues. his entire storyline/backstory feels so tragic and the fact that hes meant to be sort of a parallel to what vanitas wouldve been like just punches me in the fucking gut. and hes so young too.... i just want nothing but happiness for him he didnt deserve any of this 😭

How often do you think NPs have to deal with handsy tourists? I imagine both genders have to make PSAs ornhave signs at meet and greets similar to the “cosplay is not consent” ones at conventions

All the time, anon. Part of it is because seeing an NP from another country is very rare, people don't really know/care about basic etiquette. Another thing is this idea of "well, they're not human, so they should expect curiosity".

It ranges from mild things like maybe touching their hair or shoulder to stuff more inappropriate places. It's even more common when they're a tourist nation, because they are expected to cater more to visitors.

I think they have signs at official meet and greets. Like "If you harrass the NP, you will be removed from the premises and pay a fine." But the problem is that some people treat every interaction with a nation like a meet and greet. Unfortunately, there are no such signs for when a nation is at a grocery store.
