Having a lot of self-doubts with art right now, spending a lot of time just practicing and not really finishing anything, but this one got completed.
A tormentor, for practice. It's really fun to study anatomy from creatures whose anatomy is absolutely fucked up.
the skull here is actually modeled closely after a deer skull, just compressed to fit a dog's overall face shape. also tried to make the eyes a little less wide-set than a deer's without making them completely front-facing like a dog's. here's the rest of the (still un-rendered) body:
i'm testing out the screen recorder i just downloaded so if that ends up working the way i want it to i'll have a timelapse of this piece when it's done :)
I probably wouldnt have snapped if i didnt went in the notes to see dozens of tags agreeing so wholeheartedly with the most surface-level understanding of those characters
actually coolest thing about ebony is that not only are his eyelights solid white but they are also extremely teeny tiny which means if i dont color them & just leave them bone color i dont think a single person would actually notice
It really sucks that military, tactical, and similar stuff is so cool and frequently very useful because not only do their fandoms suck but they're also inherently tied to systems of oppression.
i think its kinda funny that ibis paint is regarded as the Broke Artist App or whatever (as opposed to more mainstream programs like csp or procreate) because its free and because of how popular it is with phone + finger artists while im jusg sitting here having used ibis for a cool eight years on purpose.
like i have an ipad and an apple pencil and all theyre very nice and i absolutely could move to a more powerful program i have the resources to do so but my change averse brain has decided they like it here a lot and im not leaving
bagged a trial shift at a new pub just for my manager to immediately put on facebook if anyone wants an extra shift on wednesday. he knows what im doing
Thank you for posting ur analysis on no home they make me so happy and help me appreciate and understand the comic even more🫶🫶 I'm planning on rereading it a lot more because of your post, I love them so much thank you

when you reread no home i highly recommend looking at everything from Eunyung's perspective and to keep a close eye on him. it'll help understand him (and all the conflicts) better.
I was gonna say I completely squandered today for Projects but then I remembered my new desk organizers came today and I spent several hours rearranging and organizing a bunch of my art supplies
