The first time you saw Akutagawa, you were enamoured by his beauty. Unfortunately, the feeling wasn't reciprocated since he held a grudge against you and Atsushi (*cough* bc of Dazai bragging*cough*).

Dazai sent you to negotiate with the Port Mafia on behalf of the ADA once, and you saw him again in a meeting. Higuchi was gone, so naturally you sat next to Akutagawa--much to his dismay.

He was side-eyeing you harshly the entire meeting until his lung decided to act up and send him into a coughing fit...

You gave him your untouched cup of tea and fished some cough drops out of your pocket (always prepared bc you're the older sibling lol). This surprised him (along with the other Mafia members).

He didn't have the luxury of declining, so he took them without thanking you and stubbornly looked away (you swore you saw a faint blush on his cheeks though...)

After the meeting, he pulled you aside and demanded to know your favorite café, so he could take you there, warning you, "don't get the wrong idea, I just don't want to owe you". (he's awkward ik :,) )

Somehow your little 'dates' went back and forth as you kept bringing him more things to ease his condition (handkerchiefs, tea w/ honey, medicine, etc.)

Akutagawa fell for your bubbly personality and giving nature (which he would've regarded as weak before). As much as he didn't want to admit it, it was nice to have someone take care of and genuinely look out for him. It's the reason why he secretly hopes he'll never stop 'owing' you.

His love language is quality time and writing you poems/love letters. Anytime he isn't working or with Gin, he spends with you. His go-to is a romantic moonlight walk by the ocean (he def hates water tho and refuses to even dip his feet in--black cat energy hehe)♡

Expect a lot of subtle affirmations from Akutagawa. Not many “i love you”s but a lot of “the moon looks beautiful tonight, doesn’t it?”

Akutagawa has been nicer to Atsushi lately--scoffing at his jokes instead of clapping back, claiming "it's for your sake and definitely not by choice".

Nicknames! You call Akutagawa "Ryu" when you're alone together. Aku calls you by your name but still refers to Atsushi as 人虎 "Jinko". Tried to call Atsushi by his name once, but it felt wrong, so he never did it again lol.

Dazai likes to tease that you guys are "Triple Black". You're a powerful trio, and you often strategize and provide support to the other two.

Since you guys are so similar, you once asked Akutagawa why he liked you so much but couldn't stand Atsushi...

Mans was absolutely dumbfounded. The question made him realize it was because he loved you, but he couldn't bring himself to admit it flat out. The thought of that made his face red like a tomato. He was so flustered, he couldn't even think of a cute, poetic thing to say.

He brought you close to him in a hug to try and hide his crimson face, burying himself into your neck.

-Floyd would even adopt these siblings as his kids because he knows their struggles and he could help them through this and he’s understand them like no other trolls would ever not even homegirl crimp know them like Floyd dose despite him being locked up in a diamond prison

-Overtime velvet would be comfortable enough to apologize to Floyd for imprisoning him and she will grow soft on Floyd meaning that she will be protective of Floyd she’s like a cat who’s follow their owners everywhere

-Velvet begs Floyd not to tell anyone that she’s grown soft on him but eventually everyone knows even branch was worried and he has his gear ready but poppy threw them away

Yes. So many of them.

J is a couple years younger than me, and we got into most of our trouble together as kids. Partner in crime and fellow gamer.

W is about 5 years younger, and is mostly my arch-nemesis (but we're playing nice right now because I want to visit her kids and she wants me to buy baby stuff for her).

X is like 8 years younger? Sweetest kid you'll ever meet. Never holds it against me that I convinced her she couldn't play in the woods with us because the secret dinosaurs would eat her when she was little.

I try not to? Dreaming big feels like a lot of pressure, and I like to be able to change my plans on a moment's notice.

That said, I've done a lot of 'big dream' things already. I bought a house (twice). I finished my degree. I've camped in a tent in the Canadian Arctic. I've worked on 2 history-rewriting archaeological sites.

r (older sister, 28) : we are not very similar at all-- i don't get along w her very well bc of this and because we weren't raised together. however we both have very strong senses of justice and work at nonprofits !

He might have the likes of Diego and Luther fooled but Five absolutely knows. He knows how much Ben could actually shit talk. He knows that Ben was not an innocent

Whenever Five irritated Ben too much, Ben would frame him for something. Sometimes this would manifest in an academy wide prank war which would inevitably end up in punishments from Reginald that everyone would blame Five for. Five. And no one would would ever believe him that sweet, quiet, wonderful Ben would start this sort of shit

However Ben was also like, the only intelligent conversation that Five ever actually had on the team so like, it’s not like he can just drop Ben (even though he knows what he did) because who else is he supposed to share looks with over Luther’s boneheaded plans with? Allison? As if Allison would ever admit Luther was being an absolute idiot

They had the silent understanding that Ben could be as much of a sarcastic shit as he wanted and in return Ben would let Five rant about temporal physics and complex mathematics and actually ask intelligent questions which occasionally led to breakthroughs

“It’s not my fault you can’t hide your own assholeness.” Ben informs Five with a straight face after Luther yelled at Five for three hours after Five rightfully informed their number one that it was actually Ben not Five who put dye on his toothbrush that turned his teeth green

Five mouths ‘I am going to destroy you’ to Ben across the breakfast table and Ben just serenely asks Klaus if he finished the math homework for their lessons today like Five doesn’t even exist

Five is twelve when he realizes that Ben is actually the devil

But actually he really admires it

Even if the way he realizes it is because Ben turns big eyes on Diego and says that Five was being mean to him, which almost gets Five a knife in the arm

(Five returns Ben’s stupid book of octopus facts, he didn’t even want the stupid thing he just stole it to get back at Ben for stealing his good umbrella jacket... yes he can tell shut the fuck up allison)

“I’m going to time travel.” “No you aren’t.” “You want to bet?” “Five. Five. We have been going over the equations for literal weeks. Did you even figure out the prime issue?” “Shut your mouth.” “Knew it.”

And Five does time travel and his second thought after “What the fuck” is “fucking Ben was right and can never know”

okay admittedly there’s a lot of apocalypse trauma and he finds the bodies of his siblings and then finds out that Ben died young and he’s just. there’s a lot going on okay

and then he travels back and ben is still dead and he’s kind of like... he can’t not save Ben but he’s got to make sure there’s a future or whatever to go to when he travels back in time and snags his brother up or whatever

except then Klaus summons Ben and well

“You asshole!” Five howls, pointing accusingly

Klaus is vindicated

“You can’t talk like that to Ben.” Diego says firmly, as though the time all of his knives were superglued to his harness wasn’t all Ben’s fault. As though that time wasn’t blamed on Five. 

“No, no, let him speak.” Klaus says, like a man who has been forced to be the only recipient of Ben’s sarcasm and sass for a great number of years.

Ben has been dead and invisible for a long time and no longer gives a single solitary fuck about what his family thinks of him tbh, and with Klaus clean(er) and a lowkey grudge against Luther (because come on Luther, Ben was rooting for you we were all rooting for you)

So Ben has no problem being like “YES. ‘TWAS I WHO GLUED LUTHER’S HAND TO HIS HAIR AND FRAMED DIEGO FOR TIPPING OVER OUR 8TH BIRTHDAY CAKE.”

“How did none of you ever notice that I ‘acted out’ whenever one of y’all ended up peer pressuring Ben into using his powers.” Five grits out, because his family is filled with fucking idiots.

Older twin (golden eyed): The smooth talker, the shameless one, the obvious schemer but he has his father's awful taste in cars. He likes the oldest models, it makes the younger twin want to perish quite a lot. Probably one of the biggest pains in the ass. A smart-ass, but listens to his parents... most of the time. Troublemaker for sure, but when he needs to do actual work will get his shit together in 0.00001 seconds. He is the leadership material when he's not being a lazy ass. He also takes things easier but will do what he needs to do even if it's hard and even if it's dangerous. Despite his laid-back nature, he is one of the most serious people and similarly to his mother always expects the worst in people as he is much closer to being a cynic than any of his siblings. He is someone who certainly is fitting to rule but he really needs to get out of his play-pretend to be less than capable just because he's lazy. His laziness does come from the fact that he rarely feels challenged. The biggest challenges are provided by his own parents, not his peers, which makes him just yawn and be like 'I'm going to take a nap, wake me up when someone worthy comes forward.' He is a bit of an arrogant boy, but he doesn't speak like that to any of his family members.

Younger twin (blue eyed): He is far more serious, less laid-back to balance out his older brother, a bit tense, and has a bit more troubles with expressing himself. Always takes things seriously and has a bit of a hard time cracking jokes. Got the glaring going 24/7 but really loves his family and is the first one to be worried for everyone's safety. Despite being the most serious one, he is the one who has the attitude and the fire in his veins, rushing forward and sometimes acting recklessly to protect those he cares about. He has a hard time forgiving people who hurt his friends or himself, a bit of a petty bastard and will hold grudges against people who aren't 'chosen' by him similarly to his father. He greatly respects his father and will always try to assist him whenever it is possible, but he is usually having a hard time understanding the full beauty of alchemy, which makes him feel quite bad because all of his other siblings are much more adept at it. This makes him have a bit of an inferiority complex, but his mother's interference helped with his fast enough to not let it stay.

First daughter (w/ heterochromia): Calm, mature, always patient and has a gentle aura around herself. however, she is the scariest one to anger because she rarely gets angry and if she does? the twins are on their knees and apologizing for making their sister angry. She follows Saturn's footsteps in learning alchemy and wants to have her own library when she grows up. A quiet yet snarky young lady who acts like a lady of ladies, very well-mannered and has the patience of a saint. Out of all people in the family, she is the one who sits up straight and keeps her mannerism pristine. People call her a ‘maiden’ with full intention of underlining her manners and her straight posture. She takes this after reading countless books on etiquette and after witnessing her mother act like this before certain businessmen when her father was absent. Even if it was an act and her mother is a more rough individual, she wants to become someone who her parents would be most proud of. She is the mother friend, she is the caretaker, she is the one who attracts others for her warmth. She’s also proud to have heterochromia, it makes her think of how she has the eyes of both of her parents, which makes her stand up proud. 

Second daughter / youngest one: An affectionate, still a naive baby but already knows how to get what she wants. A little gremlin just like her oldest brother (golden eyed twin). She always tugs the heartstrings of her father because she can... mom can be too strict. Absolutely papa's daughter, a hundred percent. She always wants to sit on his lap when he's doing work and always wants hugs from him. Her interests don’t lie in the line of dangerous fights and self-defense despite being very observant and very sensitive to people’s moods, but on an emotional level unlike her mother who is more on the observant level. You can consider this girl an empath, because she knows exactly when someone is lying or feeling bad and she will always point them out without hesitation, even if those are her parents (but not if they’re on the business meeting and etc.). Yes, she can lie but she won’t lie to her parents, ever.

Okay so I know that everyone says Ranpo would be a really lazy brother, and he still is don’t get me wrong, butttt Ranpo would be a top-notch sibling

During the time of your parents’ deaths, you were barely a teenager. At the prior advice of your late parents, he dragged you to Yokohama, where the two of you now reside. Through the years, Ranpo filled the void left by your parents, guiding and teaching you as they once did. Well, trying his best to do so anyways

Despite his attitude aimed at many, Ranpo is quite caring towards you. He’s constantly checking up on your wellbeing, whether through texts or casual conversation. Sometimes, he’ll even do that thing where a person messes up someone's hair with their hand in passing

While not as athletic as his coworkers, Ranpo can still put up some of a fight. Thus, he will absolutely try to fight anyone that attempts to mess with his dear sister

He thinks the world of you, and you’re one of the few people he’ll give some of his oh so coveted praise to

Your relationship with Fukuzawa is very friendly. While he’s a father figure to Ranpo, he’s more of a grandfather character to you since you don’t see him as much

Ranpo insists you visit the ADA offices often, and so you also have friendly relations with the rest of the members. Though Ranpo warns you not to get deeply involved with Dazai for some reason 🤔

With any romantic partner you have, he wants to have a one on one talk with them to discern if they’re a good enough person for you. Though an issue he has is that he judges everyone to his standards, and his standards are high

Your fridge is always empty due to both you and Ranpo’s negligence when it comes to grocery shopping. It becomes a daily occurrence for you two to text each other back and forth begging for the other to purchase some groceries on their way home

When the time comes for you to move out, Ranpo tries his best not to cry as he hugs you before you go. Being the only family he has left in the world, your departure affects him a lot. Afterward, Ranpo ends up learning how to manage the trains by himself just so he can visit you all by himself ~

A sibling who’s a student [around a high schooler, so let’s say 18]

He’s always making comments on your homework being ‘too easy,’ and will sometimes do some problems on your worksheets out of pure boredom

Ranpo would absolutely help you cheat with assignments

For a small fee of course... that fee coming in the form of snacks

As Ranpo serves as your legal guardian, he’s the one that has to sign all your school papers. Most of the time he leaves you stressed, messed, and upset as he always lets forms go unsigned until the very last minute

Despite being a student, you still end up cooking for the two of you most of the time

If you go to the convenience store after your school day, Ranpo always texts you. One, to check up on you. And two, to make sure you buy him a bag candy

When you don’t walk straight home from school, chances are you head your way towards the detective agency. When you do so, Ranpo is calling you over to his desk and tells you do work on your homework beside him. Even if you don’t have homework Ranpo will still tell you to sit at his desk just so he can keep some eye on you

When the ADA closes up for the day, you two end up eating out at a cafe somewhere. No exceptions, this happens every time

If it weren’t for his height, most would assume that Poe was the younger of you two

If anyone were to attempt to hurt this babby, you’d likely be the one sticking up for him. He felt awful and weak during any kind of occurrence like this, and often would hideaway for a bit after

While he’s not particularly strong, Poe is an amazing listener and will hear you out with any struggles you have at the moment. He would even tell Karl to curl up in your lap, a small sign of his trust towards you

In turn, when he becomes upset over his loss to Ranpo, you’re there right by his side after to cheer him up. Even when he shuts off all personal connections after his crushing defeat, you still check up on him to make sure he hasn’t withered away  

You’re his biggest supporter and vise versa

Poe is r i c h. If your family didn’t come from wealth before, you bet your ass that he shares his coin with you. Though, you feel a bit bad for accepting the large amounts of money he sends you. But, your brother persists that its just pay back for all of your support

When Poe got Karl at the age of 10 [let’s just say he got him at 10 because raccoons live up to an average of 20 years domesticated], he would do everything in his power to make sure the two of you got along. Eventually, you warmed up to his new pet and Poe couldn’t be happier

Growing up, you were always by his side. Seeing as he’s quite sensitive and timid, you would cling to him in order to watch out for any possible detriments to your brother’s happiness. Sticking to his side most of your childhood, you grew a fondness for all the stories he would write

When he first discovered his ability, you and Poe would spend hours exploring the world of different books. While he may have not been into the kind of books you would read as a youngling, everything was worth it if he got to see you smile

You two would also have sleepovers in his room. Dragging a blanket and pillow to his door, you’d ask if you would be allowed to sleep in his bedroom for the night. Despite it surprising him each time, Poe would never deny your request 

With blankets, Karl, and pillows strewn around the room, Poe would excuse himself to the kitchen to make the two of your some tea. You’d almost always fall asleep next to your brother as he drafted new stories

When Poe gets involved with The Guild, the first thing you worry about his his safety. Then he gets upset at the fact that he’s worried you and ends up calling you, frantically apologizing and hoping you won’t dislike him. The last thing he wants in life is your disapproval ;-;

While you hold no issue with The Guild’s ‘activities’ [more so you don’t know about their crimes], you make your brother promise you that he’d be careful

On his leave to Japan and subsequent announcement that he’d stay there indefinitely, you’re already making plans to visit him one day

His sister comes to Japan

Your visit is a surprise, even if you have been messaging him about it for weeks

Y/n: Edgar! I’m leaving for Japan tomorrow morning so I’m going to have to sleep early tonight. 

Poe spits out his tea

Edgar: Yourecomingtojapanwhat? 

Of course, he picks you up, what kind of brother would he be if he didn’t?

Seeing you at the airport, Poe can’t contain his smile. While you two don’t hug, Poe is ecstatic to see you and can’t wait to show you around. Karl is in the car and he immediately jumps onto you when you come in

When he introduces you to Ranpo, you can’t help but hold a little grudge. Cmon, this was the man that caused your dear brother to become a recluse for years! Though Poe sees your hesitation and encourages you that all blood is fine between the two. After seeing how happy your brother becomes at Ranpo’s company, you admit that he isn’t awful

Your time in Japan is spent talking with Poe and Ranpo most of the time. While it’s mostly chilling in the detective agency, your brother’s friend ends up dragging the two of you around to different cafe’s 

Once, Ranpo asked if you knew of the chaos that The Guild caused in Japan. It’s the one time he’s ever seen and heard Poe so panicked as he screamed ‘I wasn’t involved’

Wouldn’t it be funny if you and Ranpo fell into a relationship

i’m just going to say it as an older sister reading ttc i never had a lot of respect for bianca. i know this conversation has already been had so many times but i feel like the only excuse ever made for her is age when i know for a fact i read these books when i was younger than her and thought “i would NEVER abandon a sibling like that.” i get it if she wanted to go with the hunters but no one said it had to be right away. she could have stayed to at least see to it that nico was acclimated at camp, it isn’t as if she was nearing the age limit for the hunters. she barely knew the hunters for five minutes before deciding, which also was a rush on her part if you ask me. she had just discovered this whole other vastly different and dangerous side of her life and was ready to become a hunter in two seconds flat. to me her decision still seems ill advised and selfish and i partially blame her, partially blame the hunters for making her feel pressured for time, and partially blame percy/thalia/grover for not arguing harder to outline the options for her beyond thalia’s own petty grudge w the hunters

mommy issues

im sorry for ranting out here but i just dont have someone to vent to. not a minute ago, i was yelled at by my mom. the reason why? because no one cleaned the bedroom. but first lemme just have a quick background check. 

we are not rich. we are a family of five - my dad, my mom, my older sister, me, and my younger sister. all five of us sleep in the same room. literally no privacy whatsoever. my parents sleep in a bed while my siblings and i just sleep on our own individual foams with no bed frame. during daytime, our foams are fixed upright so we can sweep and clean the floor under it. 

today, my younger sister, who is tasked to clean the bedroom, went out w her friends to make a video for some project. so, no one cleaned the bedroom. meanwhile, i cleaned the living, dining room, and bathroom. i had tons of assignments so did my chores earlier. on the other hand, my older sister was left to mop the floor. however, she woke up cause she’d just come home from a sleepover w/ friends. she did mop though. 

after we all ate dinner, my mom just threw a bitch fit. for real, she was shouting at my siblings and me. she said something to me like “you’re only good at making boyfriends! (disclaimer: in my entire life, I only had 2 bfs and the 2nd one is my current bf) why don’t you go ahead and move in with your boys! you’re so lazy, you’re basically worthless” and there i was, waiting for her to turn around so i can flip her off. 

all these years of verbal abuse, i am no longer hurt by her words. it just annoys me and i wish a large speaker can play some paramore  at that moment so it’ll drown her voice out. why does she have to shout? im not deaf. i just wish she could talk a lot softly, then i wont have to hold some sort of grudge. also, why does she always make a big deal about cleaning? it’s not like she’s gonna die because of a dirty room. if something was dirty, i would clean it but not if i am being shouted at and being said some hurtful words that aren’t true. 

if i could just move out of this place, i would without a doubt but sadly i live in the philippines and i have no job. we’re also in the middle of a pandemic so going to other places is hard. once i get into college, i’m never gonna go back here again. fuck yall :))

- the guy i based victor off of was a very pessimistic guy who didnt want to get better as a person and so yeah. he always acted very hopless and like he was never going to get anywhere

Greg snarled at the sight of the woman with gold-ringed eyes, her mouthless smile was impressed upon him upon their first meeting while the tall, ashen being with the void as his sight stood silent.

The Detective Inspector was silent as he took hold of the woman’s hand, her flesh was like silk, but the colour suited that of mourners wailing for their lost loved ones.

“Uion, so kind to know you have not yet forgotten your Lady Mother’s face.” Murmured she of darkness and gold-eyed creatures, the voices of the multitudes rang through the clearing as he knelt and pressed his forehead against her knuckles.

A chill of fear rushed through the silver-haired man when he felt the cold claws of the tall creature beside his mother rest upon his back and he looked up, his mortal flesh fading to reveal what lay beneath.

“Attar.” He hissed in greeting.

Thin lips stretched into a joyless smile, revealing teeth dyed red with the souls of the slain during wars and revolutions.

“Uion.” His Lord Father spake, claws traced his features as he allowed his humanity to slip away.

Gold irises, black scleras, an ashen complexion, these replaced playful eyes of earth, tanned skin and when Greg smiled, it revealed sharp teeth made ready to rend souls apart. Were He to release himself completely, he would be as tall as his father, ashen in skin colour and upon touch, his flesh would feel like rough cloth, his hair was far longer and darker in truth as well, but he held himself together well enough.

“You recall our kinsmen are to come to-night?” His father prompted, the pools of emptiness within his eyes gave Greg the impression of scrutiny.

Greg clenched his jaw as he reined his frustration within him. He was chosen to host this century’s Hunt among his people, he had wanted to pawn off the honour to his younger brother but it turned out that he was at war with those of Afalon.

“Yes, Attar. All arrangements are prepared for their arrival and upon mid-night’s coming, we shall begin.”

His Lady Mother, Queen Orlaith of the Fair Sidhe and his Lord Father, King Oren of the War Faes exchanged satisfied glances. Greg felt cool lips upon his forehead and he closed his eyes for a moment.

“Do not trick us, Uion.” Hissed his mother, “Maurelle had not yet forgotten that raven-haired brat you fought her for.”

Fear chilled his blood but Greg’s face remained impassive, keen not to allow his parents any clue as to what ran through his mind.

“Your will be done, Nanet.” Satisfied, his mother took form and before him was a strikingly beautiful woman with dark curls framing her face.

Her eyes echoed his human ones and Greg felt ill at the realisation. We’re anyone to see his mother, they would merely assume them to be siblings. Turning to face his father, he saw a distinguished looking man with salt and pepper hair, his smile was more warm than before. It was Greg’s smile he saw and he shuddered to think how many of his associates would recognised them as his brother and sister.

“Remember, my son, you are the scion of our house. Crown Prince Ealdun. Humans are beneath you.” His father intoned, running a hand through Greg’s hair.

Greg could only nod as he watched them walk away.

He only had until midnight to keep his loved ones safe.

It was now 9:42.

Inktober Day 22 - Ghost

In which I make a darker spin on a Faerie!Greg AU and Greg is the son of faeries who in this world eat souls in order to stay immortal. Greg isn’t innocent of that, it’s only his time as Greg that he began stopping in that habit which made him look older than his parents.

His mother being a faerie that attracts and manipulates people’s affections would be going after people that are deeply infatuated or in love with someone (that puts Mycroft, Molly, Sally and Sherlock in immediate danger) while his father is a war fae, anyone interested or had a past in strategy, bloodshed, death and the like are right up his alley. (Mycroft, Anthea, Molly, Sally Sherlock, John and Mrs. Hudson)

Greg’s the heir to his parents’ realm but he has two sisters and a brother (Maurelle, Radella and Kalan).

Greg knows all his friends are in danger and though he denies himself the man he loves, he would rather avoid seeing Mycroft dead just because of a centuries old tradition. Even if his parents were fine with his love for mortals, the rest of his family still hold a sharp grudge for them as they were driven underground because of humanity taking over.warning Mycroft to hide, though Greg knows that won’t stop shit so he is gonna be putting a certain something that would severely harm him if he touched it too. He has iron handcuffs from the time when fae folk could be seen still and he was leaving it at Mycroft’s flat once Mycroft is escorted home. He might suffer some burns because of it but Mycroft will be safe.

So here he is now, bloodied from tasting his first human soul in a long while, midnight fast approaching, warning Mycroft to hide, though Greg knows that won’t stop shit so he is gonna be putting a certain something that would severely harm him if he touched it too. He has iron handcuffs from the time when fae folk could be seen still and he was leaving it at Mycroft’s flat once Mycroft is escorted home. He might suffer some burns because of it but Mycroft will be safe.

He’ll keep everyone else safe... somehow.

Also, Greg has a very tight grip on his human form so he tends to mix human and fae form a lot since he’s worried he’ll scare Mycroft too much ;w;
