I started using Head and Shoulders ten years ago for itchy scalp and dandruff, and then for ten years I have not had itchy scalp and dandruff, so I thought “why do I still buy shampoo to combat itchy scalp and dandruff when I do not have itchy scalp and dandruff,” so I stopped buying the shampoo for itchy scalp and dandruff and can you guess I have now? Can you predict what currently afflicts me? It’s alright if you can’t because apparently I fuckin couldn’t either
#i stopped taking lexapro first year of university bc 'i feel the best i ever have i'll be fine'#YEAH GIRL I WONDER WHY . MIGHT BE THE LEXAPRO !!

You know your drunk art post about love and personhood from 2019? Every night at bedtime my late cat would lie on my chest, and her little heartbeat would be right on top of mine, and I'd think about that piece of art you made, and have a similar sort of image in my head. Anyway, yesterday I finally put the image to paper, and idk where this is going, just that that piece of art you created means a lot to me. Have a cool day ✌️

OHHHH MY GOD!!!!! EVERYBODY SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LOOK AT THIS. ITS ALL BEEN WORTH IT

a lot of people are dismissing the "violent" rap music rushing and scrambling to say well not ALL rap is violent here's some rappers who don't rap about violence but like. idk. I think the "violent" rap is important to listen to as well. do you know why gangs exist? do you know why Compton is the way that it is? can you listen to the experiences of black men when you can't personally relate on any level? or will you dismiss an entire genre of music because certain sub genres make you feel a bit uncomfortable as a non-black person?
#even if it isn't your preferred genre if you can't find any value in rap or appreciate it as an art form im gonna think you're weird#i didn't listen to much rap growing up but as a poet i find it the perfect medium to explore a lot of dark topics#lyrical rap my beloved . it's one of the best mediums for storytelling#also: everyone in the tags is talking abt misogyny in rap and if you're gonna talk about that#i hope you're talking about the misogyny that infests your genres too! pop/rock/punk/emo/country/literally every genre have it !!!#if you think it's unique to rap im going to assume you aren't talking about rap and actually just think black men are more misogynistic

...what is the "sex is just rock climbing" category
It was kind of a joke between me and a friend ("you wouldn't judge someone for having gone rock climbing with a bunch of different people") but honestly the more I thought about it the more I bought into it unironically because:
It is a physical activity done with one or more partners
You should only go rock climbing with people you trust to not let you fall
You should not go rock climbing with someone who is drunk or currently incapable of rational decision-making
Some people get super super super into rock climbing and do not shut up about all the places they have climbed and how many are left on their bucket list and these people are usually men between the ages of 20 and 35 and like it's fine dude I'm glad you're happy but I don't know what most of those mountains even are
While many consider it a fun activity, pressuring someone into climbing when they don't want to (or ignoring their feelings and just dangling them off a cliff,) could cause both psychological and physical trauma
There is no moral value to it whatsoever. Who you have gone rock climbing with (or whether you have rock climbed at all) has no bearing on who you are as a person. Imagine telling someone "it's not that heights make you nauseous, it's just that you haven't found the right person to belay you!" or "you need to save your first time rock climbing for someone special." That would be absurd.
For some people it is a deep and moving personal experience.
historically I have not asked myself "will this aggravate my hip flexor injury" before participating when perhaps I should have 😔

Having parents who aren't as bad as they used to be is crazy cause they'll be sitting there doing some normal shit and you're like kubrick staring at them
#my mom is mostly normal now that we aren't small children who need her every minute#and my dad is like .... just a bum instead of a scary violent man (99% of the time)#but it's so weird bc now im sitting here like . okay are we just pretending all of that didn't happen . whats the protocol here

#specifically the behind the scenes extra on the spiderwick chronicles dvd#there was a drawing in it that made me so afraid i thought about it for like a year

astronomy club sent up a weather balloon w a gopro in it last friday. put in three packs of fruit snacks so they could have a giggle over eating fruit snacks that had been to space.
balloon went up into inner space, about 90,000 feet. came down right near the dinosaur park. a few physics teachers drive out to get it, crack it open on the way home to start watching the footage.
fruit snacks are missing.
multiple sources confirm that fruit snacks were put in balloon and sealed in with duct tape. physics teachers check entire balloon. no fruit snacks.
physics teachers watch footage. all 7 hours of it. right in the middle of footage, there are about 8 minutes of visual and audio static when balloon is in orbit. no other interference with balloon recorded.
conclusions: ???????

thinking about how my parents did everything in their power to hide 9/11 from me as a child to the point of taking away my TV and preventing me from going outside so when we went to a 1-year anniversary church service about it in 2002 i thought the pastor was recounting the story from scripture and was like wtf how did i not notice there were planes in bible times that's crazy and then i went and pissed all over the church bathroom floor to test if i had free will
