In the advertisement, you mention that there will be adjustments made to the rp to fit the better bones au, and I'm just wondering what that means for the ranks! what are their names now and what do they do, if we have new ones/different ones. And also, what's the limit on how many characters we can have?
This is a pretty big one, but I'll try to keep this as brief as possible for now - there are much lengthier descriptions on the server proper.
On character limitations:
For now, there is no character limit at all, nor is there a limit to how many limited ranks you can audition for. Staff will generally preferentially pick players with no limrank characters over players who already have one, but it's entirely possible to end up running multiple - or even many, if that works for the RP and playerbase as a whole - limranks at the same time.
The first caveat to this is that there is a time limit on how frequently you can create or drop characters. Whenever you drop or make a character, you're effectively on cooldown for both until the next moon update goes live.
The second caveat is the activity requirement. Activity checks are per character, and while you don't have to RP all of your characters every month to meet activity requirements, you do need to keep all of your characters in touch with the RP world enough to provide monthly updates on their activities. Staff will step in if people are skirting these rules to ghost plots and character relations, and/or if characters are only taking up space in their faction/rank. Generally speaking, though, we aren't going to ask anyone to drop a character if that character's presence isn't disrupting RP for anyone, and we give ample opportunity for people to patch plot and relation holes through things like adoptable substitutes for plot-essential character roles.
On faction organization:
Each faction has its own distinct way of organizing its membership and distributing power, informed by the history that shaped those systems. This is just an important thing to keep in mind for the future post-launch, but isn't immediately relevant here - the ranks listed below are for StormClan only and do not apply to the other groups in the RP. If there are specific inspirations for Better Bones that you're disappointed to be missing in StormClan, I wouldn't give up on them ever making any appearances in the RP.
That said -- Like the classic book Clans, StormClan maintains the ranks of leader, deputy, warrior, and apprentice (and kit, if you want to count that as an official/legal rank), which function fairly similarly to how they do in canon, but with a few changes to make them more flexible and the politics of the Clan less centralized. StormClan also uses three other ranks that are specified in neither book canon nor the Better Bones AU, which break the ranks of elder and cleric (medicine cat) into three roles -- sages, kitsitters, and medics.
As for specific StormClan ranks:
Leaders are diplomats and mediators. They speak for the Clan when dealing with outsiders and use their supernaturally long lives to advise their Clanmates on interpersonal and (sometimes) political disputes. In terms of daily life and tactics, StormClan's leaders are back-ups to their deputies, not the other way around.
Deputies are the day to day leaders of the Clan. They organize patrols, supervise apprentice training, and direct the Clan during a crisis. They succeed their leader when their leader dies or is otherwise stripped of StarClan's blessing, but deputyship is a complete job in its own right. Most notably, StormClan deputies are not chosen by the Clan leader; they are instead elected by a council of sages. This is a very recent change to StormClan's code in the RP timeline, instated within Rotstar's lifetime.
Sages are the occult experts and spiritual advisors of the Clan, as well as its historical and legal experts; the rank is reserved for the oldest cats in the Clan who know the most about StormClan's past, have had the most time to refine their occult techniques, and stand closest to the veil between life and death. Sages replace both elders and the spiritual aspect of the cleric rank in StormClan, but non-occultist seniors and younger occultists are also still around - they just keep the honors of warriorship.
Kitsitters are the nursery aides of the Clan. They teach and protect kits, advise new and expecting parents during and after pregnancy, and look after all of the exceptional health needs of StormClan's expecting and nursing cats, up to and including delivering kittens. They are the highest tier of medical specialist in the Clan.
The lower - but still essential - tier of StormClan medical specialists are medics, whose main responsibility is as emergency responders. Medics generally treat all infections and serious injuries, but minor wounds and field dressings are left in the paws of the Clan's warriors; basic first aid and essential herb and poison ID are part of every apprentice's training regimen, usually taught directly by a medic. Cats who want to be medics or kitsitters have to finish their warrior training before starting medical training, and fully trained medics need even more training if they want to be kitsitters.
Apprentices are functionally the same, but apprenticeship can start at any age for outsiders who join the Clan. In StormClan, apprenticeship functions moreso as a precursor to citizenship/full membership (warriorship) in the Clan. Apprentices learn the basics for survival and Clan traditions, and completing the first tasks and accepting a warrior name are treated specifically as part of one's vow to be loyal members of the Clan. It should be noted that warriors training to be medics or kitsitters do not become apprentices again, but are specifically grouped under unofficial ranks as trainee medics and kitsitters respectively - a cat can only undertake the first tasks once.
Warriors are less bound to combat roles as well; "warrior" in StormClan is moreso just the rank of fully dedicated Clan members, and encompasses cats with a huge range of interests, specialties, and abilities. Gardeners, cooks, artisans, hunters, foragers, amateur herbalists, novice occultists, residents with no specific vocation, and more all fall comfortably under the warrior umbrella.
Lastly (but certainly not least) -- age and disability do not affect a StormClan cat's rank, full stop, and in StormClan cats with scars and permanent or chronic conditions are often celebrated as survivors. As in the Better Bones AU, such cats are often recipients of honor titles, special names granted to exceptional cats who accomplish great things in life, which specifically reference their feats, talents, and/or conditions.
Beyond this, though rare, StormClan will sometimes make prisoners of their criminals, especially if they are Clanborn, rather than sentencing them to exile - remember, StormClan's motto is that no cat suffers alone. Exile is a fate worse than death in the minds of many in the Clan. These cats are not an official rank in the Clan, and are usually kept under the surveillance and protection of combat-ready warriors. Prisoners are barred from traditional Clan ceremonies and can't mentor or train, but are otherwise free to move and live as they like. If a prisoner chooses to flee the Clan, they're usually not pursued, but from that point on are treated as rogues.

𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐔𝐍.
—BASICS
NAME : rev
PRONOUNS : they / them , he / him , she / her
ZODIAC SIGN : capricorn
TAKEN OR SINGLE : single
— THREE FACTS
i am a HUGE slasher / horror fan. i'm still working my way through the classics and people's recommendations for movies / games / books (having strict parents put me back a few years lol), but i love scary / dark things! my only drawback is that i'm pretty bad with torture-porn horror (see: anything involving and made in the years after saw) and i prefer psychological horror or things that don't focus on people being HURT - i can handle them being KILLED though!
i'm a relatively new roleplayer compared to a lot of people in the community - ok, i used to write in like 2013, but i was a kid and it was solely warrior cats or "anime high school" threads on a now defunct forum. i then decided in my teenage brain that that was "cringe" and "bad" and stopped doing it for ages, but i've recently (with all the credit to my lovely friend flowers) regained my love for it!
i have an extremely fat cat. yes we've tried putting him on diets. yes we've tried exercising him. nothing has worked (he's lazy as hell and steals food), so now we just let him live out the rest of his life (he's pretty old now :( ) however he wants to. i would die for him. please ask me for photos of him at any given opportunity.
— EXPERIENCE
PLATFORMS USED : mostly just tumblr, although when i was younger i used to roleplay on deviantart, kik, and a now defunct warrior cats site known as warrior cats rpg / feralfront!
PLOTTING / WINGING IT / MEMES : my most-used way of interacting is memes and starters, but i am very up to plot with people - i'm just bad at saying it unprompted! i don't think plotting is always necessary if it's just a short thread, but for longer ones i'd prefer to plot!
—MUSE PREFERENCE
GENDER : cute girls! ok in all seriousness i will rp any character i enjoy, but i feel a LOT more comfortable writing female and / or fem-presenting muses, which i know is uncommon
MULTI OR SINGLE : a mix of both! i like the range of multis, but i feel like it makes it a little harder to explore them in as much as i'd like sometimes. i do also run a few single blogs though!
LEAST FAVOURITE FACECLAIM(S) : i don't have a problem w any faceclaims!!! as long as it's not someone that's like, a renowned bigot or something like that i don't really care who u use - i tend to use faceclaims very loosely anyway!
— FLUFF / ANGST / SMUT
FLUFF: fluff can be super fun!
ANGST: I LOVE ANGST. i love writing conflict and arguments and situations where characters do not like or trust each other, whether they have to co-operate or are at each other's throats! it's therapeutic :)
SMUT: i have not written smut in a roleplay context and honestly i'm a little scared to start - jokes aside i think i'd rather do that sort of thing in private rather than in public, and with people i trust! i am okay with flirting/more suggestive interactions though bc like with angst, i love writing tension ;)

𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐍 !
NAME: Mist! But I've gone by many other names before lol. This one just has stuck for longer than the others
PRONOUNS: They/Them
SEXUALITY: queer
SINGLE / TAKEN : single
𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐒.
I saw a juvenile iguana get run over last sunday and I got so devastated (I had stopped my car to let it cross the street) that I spaced the fuck out the rest of the way to my destination
I have worked as an illustrator and work as a bartender at a bar sometimes. I've also worked in a kitchen.
I learned english by myself bc I was really dedicated to understanding the sonic archie comics (small town and the sonic archie app only had comics in english), reading warrior cats (only 3 books were translated by the time i was 11) and reading homestuck.
𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄.
HOW LONG : I'm pretty sure its been 10 years
PLATFORMS : Started on Instagram comments, then DMs when that became a feature, Unsupportedmsparp, msparp, amino when I got bored, instagram again, Discord, Twitter, and now Tumblr.
BEST EXPERIENCE : I made a warrior cats fan Tribe rp group on discord in 2018 that took off pretty well despite some insane people joining and leaving. I still think fondly of it and plan on bringing it back to start over and make new memories with people who aren't insane
𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐓𝐘𝐏𝐄.
FEMALE OR MALE : Whatever. I rp characters by how much they make me feel insane not their gender
FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT : All of them? I guess? I've roleplayed smut very sparely bc i have issues
PLOTS OR MEMES : Frankly, I don't know. I mostly go wherever I'm called. I'm not very used to plotting stuff through the end, and It's hard for me to be fully comfortable with memes that aren't very specific. If you hadn't noticed I am mostly the kind of guy to go on and on about shit and wait for someone to join in on the bit or something. But im not against either option
LONG OR SHORT REPLIES : depends on what kind of RP we're doing, I quite enjoy rambling and matching my partner's length is always a fun little challenge. I do get a little upset if the same courtesy isn't done for me, but y'know. I try not to be picky
BEST TIME TO WRITE : When im bored out of my miind and feeling particularly funny
ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S). In some ways yes I guess. I don't really relate to the kind of person Rodimus is because he is the sort of guy i'd either be best friends with or would hate the guts of, but I guess I relate to some more personal aspects of him. I do project on him every once in a while but that's bound to happen when you're roleplaying. It is Natural. But yeah idk. It's not something I tend to think about.

Lifesaver post. It's 3 AM and I can't sleep and I'm bored as fuck and Max has so much lore it's not even funny. Ranting under the cut.
Max is your typical run of the mill cat furry. He doesn't really have anything too special in looks, but he doesn't really care.
Hold on a moment. Before I go into the lore, let's take a bit of a dive into how I came up with him in the first place.
So, first of all, back when I was eight or so, I was HUGE into writing, and I was HUGE into this series called Warrior Cats. (I really should get back into reading it again. I have only fond memories.) Naturally, I started to write fanfiction in journals once I discovered that it's accepted to write spinoff fics of series you love. They were in no way the best; overpowered characters, basic settings, cringey dialogue, and the star of this rant, a self-insert. Now, you see, I had created an OC before to represent me, called Mudtail. I wasn't creative at the time, so he just had brown fur and blue eyes (like my brown hair and blue eyes). But for one specific fanfiction, the main character was turned into a human for some reason. There, he met someone who would later be turned into Mudtail and assist with warrior duties: Max. Max was just a human, and in all honesty, he was literally just me. I even wrote in a poorly disguised attempt to insert the school I was going to at the time and my friends into that story.
Let's now go forwards, to a year later or something like that. Scratch was the big thing. You know, the coding website? I loved it. Not because of coding, but because it was basically Little Kid Social Media. In fact, I had a few friends on that site, mostly made from Warrior Cats roleplaying studios. My character of choice? Mudtail. Always. Without fail. Well, that's partially a lie; I occasionally used a warrior version of my pet cat, Ash. Looking back on it, this probably influenced my choices today in terms of rp.
Another flash forward, and I had gotten a discord account and a Reddit account. I joined a server dedicated to transformation enthusiasts, of which I learned about from Reddit. I didn't know why, but the concept of transformation just fascinated me. Well, turns out, I'd find out soon enough when almost everyone there ended up being a furry. Maybe some of it was peer pressure? Can you call it peer pressure when it helps you learn something about yourself? Cause I'm riding the "I am a furry" train as long as I live.
Now, the staple of every furry (or, so I assumed): a fursona. What would I do for my fursona? I couldn't think of a single thing. But I liked cats! And... it had been a bit, but my mind flashed back to those private fanfictions and those rps I did on the coding platform. All the pieces clicked together. I HAD a fursona! Mudtail was someone who I invented to represent myself, and was a cat. He just... wasn't quite a typical fursona. So I quickly amended that, and Mudtail, the newbie warrior, became Max, the expert magician.
Soon, I formed an RP server, where I fleshed out the lore of OC Max, who I do still consider to be my fursona nowadays. And that's where most of his lore comes from!
As for the lore itself, well, that is SO complicated. A lot of it hinges on magic, miracles, that sort of thing. Bear with me here. This was two years ago.
Max used to be a normal human in a plain and boring universe. Indeed, this is way more of a self-insert than I even anticipated; he also happened to be a furry. But at the age of 15, something happened to him, and he died suddenly. I think it was getting hit by a car? You can imagine this plot line brought up at least one truck-kun joke
Some sort of benevolent god or angel revived him. He had died too early, and was getting a second chance. A universe of his choosing, and a form of his choosing. That's how he became Max; all of that was his choosing.
His universe of choice: a universe where anthros are accepted, alongside humans. Where he could be what he wanted. And most of all, where magic existed. And magic definitely existed; from a young age, he started learning it. And he's still practicing it to this day.
I haven't fleshed out a LOT of his childhood. However, I do know that when he was 15 in this new universe (30, counting the prior experiences, which he remembered), he had learned enough magic to focus all his energy into a powerful spell that locked his age. All complications by old age have been removed; he'll forever feel and look 15. In part, this was a bit of sentimentality towards his death age.
At the point when I made him, he was 20 years old. A solid baseline. Recently, I've been forced to celebrate his 22nd birthday! He doesn't count years in terms of 15 + new universe age, he only counts it from his new universe. After all, that's when he's truly himself.
In the first rp he was ever in, he had a lot of stuff fleshed out about him that I'm way too tired to detail. He met a lot of people, and some of them ended up becoming his friends. He has a boyfriend, which, in reality, is just a clone of himself. (Though, not a hiveminded clone! That's too weird. No, this clone evolved and changed into a point where he might as well be someone else. He calls himself just C now.)
One of the things established in that rp that would end up becoming a huge point in making sure he stuck around even after the original rp ended was that he had made his magic so good that he was able to multiversally travel. Sure, it's a bit rushed, but yeah, he did it. And now that's the explanation for all this lore sticking around: him and two friends, Victor and Synthi, travel the multiverse looking for fun stuff to do.
Now where is he, you may be asking? Well, the second rp he's ever been in ended up starting with tragedy. Upon entering a universe, Victor's "unique" biology kind of just failed, making him basically explode magically and become really weak in energy and in magic. This segued really well into the rp at hand: Rhythm Doctor. Now, Max is forced to stay there, especially because Synthi's staying with Victor, like it or not.
Except... he doesn't stay there. He occasionally visits other universes. And by that, I mean that he's visited one other universe: an rp based on the game Lingo by Brenton Wildes. Yes. The word puzzle game. It... it's complicated. I’m not ready to explain how the FUCK you make something like that work. But it does, and he went to that universe, and met a few people. Upon arrival back to his universe, he met one of the people from that universe, but all of a sudden, they couldn't remember ever existing in Lingo Lore (the third rp name).
Now, Max's first thought should have been "oh, this is this universe's version of that guy!" (For the record, "that guy"'s name is Doug.) But after a bit of asking, he found out that Lingo Lore was stored as just a hazy dream in Doug's memory. So naturally, he had to keep an eye on this guy to report back to the other universe. Especially considering that Doug is 13 years old and ran away from home in this universe. Yeah.
So now Max is basically the adoptive parent of a teenager, stuck in a universe that isn't even his home universe, and trying to learn more magic even in an environment that doesn't have as high magical qualities as his home universe.
That's basically all of it. It's taken me an hour just to write this post (as of finishing this, it's 3:47 AM) and I'm actually tired now. Thanks for reading the rant, if you didn't just skip down to the bottom. And thanks for the post opportunity, Google News!
i want everyone in the reblogs of this post to put a rant about their ocs. it can literally just be typed out descriptions paragraphs, dynamic/in-universe memes for it, art, picrew, i dont care.
i want to see your oc propaganda either in my reblogs, or my asks.

aske time :) for the writing asks: A1, A2, A10, A12, A14, your choice of anything in B, C8 ( :^) ), C11, D6
A1: Introduce the characters from one of your current WIPs in one or two sentences each.
Okay let's gooo,,, I'll do The Keepers cause I haven't talked about that one as much. These aren't gonna be the best descriptions but whatever
Ketsler: Quirky, fun-loving, everyone's weird grandpa, but also the most powerful person to have ever lived. He's old- so very, very old- and he's seen so much over all the centuries he has been protecting the worlds from Chaos, but he still makes an effort to slow down and appreciate the little things around him, because he knows better than most how fleeting life is.
Skylar: Skylar is from a world where faerie circles are real and witches turn people into frogs and trolls live in great, big castles and are slain by talking cats, a world where there's too much adventure to stay in one place, too many people to meet, and too many monsters to slay to stop running. He may be only a human (ooo mystery!!) but he is proficient in Wind magic and carries around a good bit of rune stones he and his pet dragon have found along his adventures.
Felix: Felix is just a normal human from a small town after the earth becomes united under one world power. He wasn't born with superpowers like most soldiers are, but he was still skilled enough to join a special force working behind enemy lines when the rebellion made its move to free the planet from the tyranny that built this dystopian reality.
Betty: A very sweet young lady, she's from a planet that was colonized by humans centuries ago. She may seem naive, but Betty can read anyone like a book and uses her gift to help those who are lost find themselves again.
There's more characters but I'll just stick with those main ones cause I really struggle with descriptions xD
A2: Who's your favorite character to write and why?
Probably Joden? I haven't written most of my characters, but I looove writing his dialogue. He also makes me think so I can keep him clever lol
A10: What’s your character development process like? (As in how you develop them, not necessarily their development in-story)
I roleplay them! The more developed they are, the more I've acted as them. It really gets me inside their head to try and think like how they think, and that results in me being more equipped to "discover" why they are like that.
A12: What kind of internal conflict does your character go through (want versus need, personality complexes or strong personality flaws/”fatal flaw” kinda thing)? How does this affect them?
It really varies depending on the character? For example Joden has this need to always have a plan, always be in control, and a breaking moment for him comes in when he finally just,,, doesn't know what to do. He's in over his head and the only thing he can do is trust Jacer to do what he can- knowing Jacer doesn't have things under control.
So that's an example of a flaw that the character gets to overcome, but there also characters whose flaws are part of who they are. Skylar wouldn't be Skylar if he weren't stubborn. Ketsler wouldn't be Ketsler if he weren't arrogant. They never grow out of these flaws, they just learn to control them. Or I guess not be controlled by the flaw.
This is actually something I think I struggle with for my characters, giving them those visable flaws. I see other people's characters that start out "bad" and grow into heroes, but it kinda seems like all my characters start out as heroes. 😅 I mean, they have flaws, but in comparison to other people's characters they feel really bland in that aspect. Idk
A14: Ramble about your characters. Anything special you like about them? Random little details you’ve added that you enjoy?
Uh,,, I don't even know where to start I just love all of them for so many various reasons. Joden is just a clever little genius but he still can be so naive. He just has simple pleasures and it's not hard to make him laugh or smile and practically impossible to discourage him. He starts off just,,, wanting his old life back and then he sees what the world is like outside his little bubble and the bubble pops. He sees the atrocities for what they are and to be able to settle down again, he has to fix it. He can't just smile and do as he's told, he can't let the bad guys win. It I just his mother and wife and son he's fighting for, it's the entire wood and the idea of being actually, truly, free.
Jacer is so savvy, he knows what to do and what to say to get into and out of any situation, but at the same time he's just clueless when it comes to genuine connection. He's a princeling who's really never had a friend and now he's saving the world with Joden who only knows how to make genuine connections. Why does he have to keep hugging me??
And Twylla who's ready to fight anything so she can get her clever idiot husband back?
Adric who's just doing his best to be a good leader but everything keeps going wrong. He wasn't born to be a king, he wasn't born to lead an army, he always had his big brother to help him do these things and he's gone- he's gone and he's not coming back he messed up again so bad and yet here he is with everyone looking to him for answers and he doesn't know what to tell them. But he's got his friends, and he's got a good heart, and he genuinely cares and they're going to figure it out.
Skylar just keeps running forward and he never looks back at the past he just jumps from one adventure to another stopping the monsters and saving the day. He's got Gigi what more does he need?
Felix is just,,, he's just such a nice guy. Over and over he stepped into the gap because someone's gotta fly that fighter, someone's got to fire that gun, someone's got to stabilize the bomb, someone's going to lose their life to ensure the victory, why shouldn't it be him? But he never actually dies, somehow he always survives and lives to fight the next day, and the next day and the next day, and then they win the war- the world is free. And even though he's been through so much he still hasn't lost that kindness, that love for all life that makes him himself. He still falls in love and starts a family and has his own beloved children… and even when he loses them he still doesn't become cynical. He still stands in the gap and is the one to fire the gun, to hold the hand of the one who's mourning, to scoop up the orphan child and carry them home. He fights, so others don't have to. Father to the fatherless and hero for all. Also he puts up with Skylar's time traveling craziness lol
And Ketsler? Unlike everyone else he never chose to be a hero. What are you supposed to do when you're a four year old boy and everyone tells you you're the hero they've been waiting for, praying for, you have to save them. It wasn't at all his choice to be born with the power of the universe running through his veins. To hold the Inness in his hands and bend reality to his will. But he didn't run away. He never hid from his destiny. He took the world onto his shoulders and never set it down. Only once- and he's never going to do it again. Never going to ask someone to fill in his role for him, it is his burden to bear… Except not anymore. Despite being multi-millenniums old, all that time didn't dull his appreciation for the little things. A baby's smile, sunshine through the leaves, the change of the seasons. The union of two souls in marriage, or the colors of the sunset streaking a foreign sky. He still sees these things, loves these things, fights for these things. Cause it's the little things he's fighting for, not just the big things. The precious moments and precious lives that make up the worlds. One of his apprentices asked him once, he'd been fighting for so long, when was it going to end? It's not his job to strike the final blow, to end the suffering and bloodshed, just to help. He saves the world, so that he can save it again.
I have… several more characters I'd love to ramble about but that answer's gotten pretty long so I'll cut it off there. XD
B3: Do you have any plot twists? No need to describe them, just think about what kind of reaction you want from your readers.
Oh I was just talking to August about this the other day. XD There is one plot twist in the Keeper's story I'm reeaaally looking forward to hehe I want to make people confused and then really mad when the whole thing is stretched out. >:)
C8: Does magic exist in your world? Who can use it? How does it work?
It really depends on which WIP, but in general I like to keep magic restricted with rules. Joden's story and the Keeper's story are in the same universe (along with ThRoG) and follows that magic system. It's too complicated to go in depth here, but "magic" exists in another plane of existence, and things in the material world have varying levels of connection with it. It's kinda the energy that holds all worlds together and sustains life. The magic realm- the Inness is not a place where physical matter should exist, only spirits can walk there.
Wizards are creatures that stand with one foot in the physical realm and the other in the Inness. Tevlar is destroying the world basically by turning it inside out- pulling the Inness out.
C11: Have you developed historical figures? How do you develop them? How in-depth do you go?
Oh yes. I am a complete history nerd so if any world EXISTS it has history, and history only happens because people.
Sometimes it's a thought through process of "somebody needs to go here" and sometimes it's an npc from a time travel rp that took on more importance than I originally intended.
It really varies how in depth it will go? Sometimes it's just a name to fill a spot and other times it's like, man I could write a whole book about this guy!
One historical figure would be Ares of the Pegasus. He was a powerful warrior that won a bunch of wars and united the different pegasus clans under his leadership and became the first king. He's really famous and people like naming their kids after him in a kinda superstitious hope they'll grow into attributes of his character. Ares is the male form of the name, Aris is for girls. It's like, the most common Pegasian name. XD
D6: Are there any writing styles that inspire you?
Probably the first writing style I wanted to emulate was Tolkien's, but I also really liked Andrew Peterson's? Tolkien is so dramatic, and Peterson isn't heavy on location descriptions, so I'm kinda aiming for in between I guess.
#thanks for the ask!!#sorry that took so long to answer 😅#reblog#text#writing#keepers#deepwood#shifters#ask

Any advice for setting up Discord roleplays (Warrior Cat ones) so that they're successful once launched? O:
I’ve only really participated in the setting up of SoTC, and none of us expected it to get nearly as huge as it is. I’ve been in a couple rp servers that I haven’t been a part of running, but I didn’t really stick with them for long. When I was younger, I also set up a bunch of rp forums, and all of them flopped. But here’s some things that sounds like good advice that I think contribute to the success we’re having with SoTC, and are things that I look at on the occasion I join other rp servers.
1. Identify your hook. What makes the server interesting and unique that’ll set it apart from others? I love seeing people’s fanclans, but these days just having a set of good fanclans with a bit of worldbuilding is not enough to draw me in. There needs to be a hook, either a plot hook or a systems hook, to draw people in. With SoTC, our hook is our clan assignment system, so secrets get revealed in character rather than everyone knowing everything, and our skills/dice system, which is complex under the hood but still easy to use because of our use of custom commands. We also have fun plots, but those are not our main draw. 2. Identify your core audience. The server may be 13+ in rating, but are you aiming it mainly at that age group, or is it really intended for experienced rpers and you just want to leave it open to younger and newer folks? We ended up changing SoTC to 15+ because, while we all knew some 13 year olds who were fine, we had a lot of them coming in and not understanding our systems or having no prior experience rping in paragraph format. You don’t need to do this, but it is helpful to know who the rp is for. While it’s nice if it can be accessible to people who are outside of that audience, you don’t need to bend over backward to accommodate everyone. 3. Strive to make the channels easy to navigate and information easy to find. Categories should be ten channels max, preferably fewer if you don’t need that many. Pin relevant information. Name channels clearly. Use emojis (sparingly) to make categories and important channels easy to identify visually. I see more and more rps having a separate website (tumblr, carrd, etc) for information that doesn’t fit well in Discord, but make it crystal clear if you do this that there is important information there. 4. For goodness sake, be ready to moderate. Be as clear as possible about your expectations for members so you can let people know when they are breaking them. I’ve stepped in a couple servers that had really specific rules and systems regarding in character stuff but very minimal rules about being respectful to other members. Unless the server is intentionally a small, semi-closed community (I consider Feline Fiction to be one, for example, as we rarely have folks join and they’re usually invited by existing members), you cannot expect “be nice” to be enough. 4a. This is a rule that I penned and later introduced to SoTC, that I highly recommend if you want to be able to keep everyone feeling safe and like...generally not doing the uncool stuff that I did when I was a clueless 13 year old on rp forums. I am ok with people taking this particular rule because I personally wrote it and have used it in multiple servers now, and I think it is really important to have something like this to foster a safe community.
“If the mods feel you are playing a disabled, mentally ill, or LGBTQ+ character disrespectfully, we’ll have a chat with you first, but if you don’t fix it this constitutes a warning and the character will need to be changed. Remember, LGBTQ+ cats are allowed and wholly supported! They are also accepted in-character so please no homophobic/transphobic cats.” In SoTC we also have rules where you shouldn’t play a mental illness unless you have personal experience with it (as in, you actually have it) and roleplaying abuse is banned. These, and the no in character -phobia clause, may not be necessary rules if you are specifically dealing with mature/darker themes, but that will be something you’ll need to be ready to moderate. 5. Have an advertisement plan. Disboard is a simple and effective method, but the more you can do the better. Many rp servers do partnerships, the adapted version of forum advertisement, where selected partner servers are allowed to post blurbs and updates in specified ad channels. Tumblr doesn’t hurt, if you can post updates semi-regularly. Make your hook clear everywhere so that people can immediately tell whether the concept interests them. Other folks, feel free to add what makes you interested or uninterested in an rp!

Hello everybody! The name’s Cat (or Speedy... I answer to both). I’m 25, cisfemale, and from the EST timezone. I’ve recently just started a new job; and I’m also still recovering from a surgery I had last month. So I will apologize in advance if my activity isn’t the greatest. I promise it’ll pick up once my life becomes less hectic...
Anyway, I bring to you my little weirdo Ellis “Elly” Munro. She’s a modified version of a character I’ve played in a few groups before; so I’m interested in seeing how Crownsville Elly turns out. This RP honestly looks so great; and I can’t wait to start plotting with y’all!
[ willa holland, twenty-three, cisfemale, she/her ] — hey, I just saw [ ellis “elly” munro ] walking down the streets of crownsville. they’ve lived in town for [ two years ], and you can catch them around town working as a [sales associate at shazam comics ]. I hear they’re known to be [ loyal & determined ] and [ stubborn & cynical ]. if asked, they would say their aesthetic would be [ sushi rolls, piles of comic books, extra large cups of coffee, movie theatres, bruised knuckles, hospital bracelets ].
Backstory (trigger warning: mentions of chronic illness)
Ellis Amalia-Rose Munro, more commonly known as Elly, was born and raised in Los Angeles (Hollywood), California to an up-and-coming thriller screenwriter/director and his trophy wife. She was their second child, having a brother roughly thirteen years older.
Growing up, her family was well-off due to her father’s success with many of his films. He was, by no means, a household name as far as filmmakers went; but for fans of thrillers, most knew at least a good handful of his work (think of him like Shyamalan only not quite as popular).
She actually had a tendency to have a small role in every single one of her father’s films. This continued up until she moved away for college.
At the age of 3, she was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. She had faced multiple lung infections as well as poor weight gain for her first few years of life, thus leading to the diagnosis.
Her CF has always been well managed. It’s not something she ever let get in her way. She was always the very rambunctious and active child, just sometimes needing to take more breaks than others.
She was also a child model from the ages of 7-11. An agent had seen her in one of her father’s films and reached out. She was compliant for a few years; but modeling just was never really her thing.
Her mother is from Chelsea, London; and she grew up visiting her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins there every summer. London is one of her favorite places to go; and she’s quite proud of her British heritage.
At a young age, she was introduced to the world of comics and superheroes; and she was hooked from the start. She used to pretend she was a superhero, running around her house dressed like her favorites and wishing she had superpowers.
Due to her love of comics and superheroes, her parents thought it would be a good idea to get her involved in activities that would allow her to “train to be a superhero”. They signed her up for martial arts (she’s now a 4x blackbelt) and gymnastics. This way, she could use her imagination and stay in shape.
As the years went on, fencing and archery were added to Elly’s list of activities. And as soon as she learned what it was, she took up parkour as well. And out of everything she’s done, parkour has forever been her favorite.
She was actually once scouted for the Olympic archery team; and her coach kept encouraging her to train for a goal of the Olympics. But she never had any interest. To her, archery was just a hobby and nothing more.
After high school, she decided to go across the country for college; and wanting to stay in an area with warmer weather (she hates the cold/snow), she decided on attending the University of Miami as a psychology major.
While attending the University of Miami, she initially had no desire to end up on Greek Row. But she ultimately ended up pledging for and joining a sorority (Chi Omega) during her time at the college.
Loving the east coast, she figured she’d want to stay in Miami or go elsewhere in Florida upon graduation (or not as she only finished three years of school); but she somehow ended up settling in the small town of Crownsville, Georgia. She’d gone home over the holidays with a friend who lived there; and she just felt drawn to the town.
That was a little over two years ago. Elly’s been in Crownsville pretty much ever since. She’s started making a life for herself here. She’s gotten a job working as a sales associate at Shazam Comics; and she’s also gotten herself a little apartment downtown. And while she often does miss California and her family, she’s started to become really happy in small town Georgia.
When it comes to her CF, she’s always been one to not feel the need to hide it. She’s been like this since she was little; and even now, she doesn’t feel the need to hide. It’s not something she tells everything; but she’s okay with people knowing she’s sick.
Another important thing about Elly is the fact she’s training to hopefully make it on to American Ninja Warrior. She fell in love with the show when she first saw it several years back; and given her hobbies, she’s always felt like she was a good candidate. She has yet to try out; but her plan is to try out this upcoming season.
Recently, however, her health has started to decline. Her lung function is now in the yellow; and it’s really scared her. She’s started to wonder if she should give up on her American Ninja Warrior dream in favor of her health. Her fall back plan is to open her own archery school or maybe get back into acting.
Likes: comic books, superheroes, coffee, sushi, movies, parkour, archery, katanas, tattoos, cosplaying, video games, flannel, hoodies, beanies, combat boots, avocados, star wars, workouts, roses, kingdom hearts, stitch, stuffed animals, british sweets, funkos, motorcycles, skateboarding, jolly ranchers, american ninja warrior, bdsm
Dislikes: hospitals, swimming, cold weather, snow/ice, kale, cats, needles, alcohol, energy drinks, high heels
Misc. Facts
Her parents almost named her Ellis Isla; but they opted not to due to the fact it sounded too close to Ellis Island.
She has 4 blackbelts (karate, taekwondo, jiujitsu, krav maga); so don’t piss her off.
She can swim; but she’s honestly not a fan of water. Despite growing up in California, she doesn’t like the ocean.
She doesn’t like the taste of alcohol; so she doesn’t drink. If you ever see her drinking, she’s probably in a really bad place.
She can do a spot-on impression of Aqua from Kingdom Hearts and a pretty decent impression of Stitch.
She loves stuffed animals. Her bed is covered in them. Her favorites are Batbear, Stitch, Toad, and a sushi roll with a face. Batbear is like her security blanket.
She does have her driver’s license; but she doesn’t have a car in Crownsville. She has her red Ducati; but Uber is still her preferred mode of transportation.
She was born a month and a half prematurely. Her due date was February 14th.
Because of her CF, she has a feeding tube (g-tube) that’s normally hidden under her clothing. She also does several daily treatments (nebulizers, vibrating vest) to combat her symptoms as well as takes pancreatic enzymes before each meal.
She wears a medical ID bracelet that states she has CF and that she’s allergic to latex, penicillin, and prednisone. It’s not noticeable as an ID bracelet unless one really looks at it.
She has saved two people from getting hit by cars by pushing them out of the way and taking their place. The first time, she was 15. The second time, she was 23.
[trigger warning] She is actually unable to have children of her own; but she doesn’t actually know this yet. could be potential plot-line if anyone is ever interested
Wanted Connections
Older Brother — This is pretty self explanatory. Elly has an older brother; and this connection is for him. I picture him being roughly ten years older than she is (give or take a few years) and being in Crownsville for reasons UTP. His faceclaim and name are also UTP (though I gotta admit my bias towards Stephen Amell or Colin Donnell FCs). OPEN (0/1)
Father — Elly’s father is a thriller screenwriter and director by the name of Chandler Munro. I think it might be cool if he showed up in Crownsville for whatever reason. He could be filming a movie in the small town or just coming to catch up with his children. I would like his FC to be John Barrowman; though I am open to discuss others. OPEN (0/1)
Extended Family — Maybe for some reason, one of Elly’s extended family members (most likely a cousin from England) comes to visit her in Crownsville and ends up staying for awhile. OPEN (0/?)
College Friend — This connection is for the friend with whom Elly went home for the holidays with one year while attending the University of Miami. This friend lived in Crownsville and is part of the reason Elly lives there now. Everything about this friend is UTP: name, age, gender, faceclaim, etc. I’m not picky; though I would love for them to have stayed friends. TAKEN (1/1)
Childhood Friends — This is for any friends of Elly’s from back when she lived in Los Angeles. She could’ve known them back in elementary, middle, or high school. They could’ve lost touch and then met up again in Crownsville or stayed friends since they first met. OPEN (0/?)
Roommate — Upon first coming to Crownsville, Elly got herself a decent sized apartment downtown. I would love for her to have a roommate she shares this apartment (and its rent) with. TAKEN (1/1)
Ex-Roommate — This was a previous roommate of Elly’s. This individual stopped being her roommate for reasons open to discussion. OPEN (0/2)
Ride or Die — Give me a ride or die bestie for Elly please. I have no preference for gender, age, how they met... Everything would be discussed upon inquiry. I just want her to have that one person she’d do anything for. OPEN (1/2)
Nurse Friend(s) — Elly is kind of a wild one. With her hobbies and desire to be on American Ninja Warrior, she has quite the tendency to get injured. She could definitely use some friends with medical training to help her out from time to time. OPEN (1/?)
Doctors — Since Elly has CF, she does spend a good amount of time at doctors offices. This connection would be for any of the doctors who treat her; though I mostly would love to see her pulmonologist. OPEN (0/?)·
Red Band Society — This is for anyone else dealing with any type of medical condition. Elly and these individuals have formed a sort of support system for one another. OPEN (1/?)
Ex-Boyfriend(s) — Again, this is super self explanatory. Elly and this guy (or guys if I decide to make her have more than one ex) used to date. And now they’re not. Why they broke up and all the details of their relationship would be discussed upon inquiry. They could either be total enemies now or still be cordial. OPEN (0/3)
Friends With Benefits — I feel like most of my wanted connections are self explanatory. This is your standard friends with benefits connection and plotline. It could have the potential to turn into something or just stay FWB. OPEN (1/2)
Straight Until Prove Bi — As of now, Elly identifies as straight; but I am not against her having an experience with another girl. OPEN (0/1)
Future Love Interest — Self explanatory. At some point in the future, Elly is gonna end up in another relationship. This is mostly open to males; but I would not object to a female if the chemistry was there. OPEN (0/1)
Workout/Sparring Buddies — Elly spends a lot of her free time working out; and it’d be great for her to have someone she can work out with. Whether it be at the gym, while kickboxing, or even while doing parkour, a friend can make a workout so much less boring and routine. OPEN (0/?)
Stylist — Elly has been very much a tomboy since she was small. This connection would be for the individual in Crownsville who attempts to give her a makeover and make her more “girly”. TAKEN (1/1)
Tattoo Artist — Elly loves tattoos and is working on obtaining quite the collection. This individual is the one who has done most of hers and is the one she’d go back to when she’s ready to get her next tattoo. OPEN (0/2)
Fans of Chandler Munro — Like stated in her little backstory, Elly’s father (Chandler Munro) is a thriller movie director and screenwriter. I’d like if there was someone who was a big fan of her father’s films and tried to use Elly to get autographs, spoilers of upcoming movies, a small role in an upcoming movie, etc. OPEN (0/?)
General Friends, Frienemies, Co-Workers, Neighbors, etc.
More to come...

#crownsvilleintro#like this and i'll come to you or#message me for plotting :)#i am super excited to be here!!!

Mating Rules and Guidelines
When it comes to the mating rules, the only reason you ask first is we actually like to keep an eye on the family tree, and entwine plots.
But for the sake of it let’s lay down some ground rules.
-Apprentices cannot take on a mate. They’re the equivalent of 12-18 years old in maturity growth. Can apprentices have crushes? On Warriors and other Apprentices? Sure. Why not? When I was in high school, I knew people with crushes on older schoolmates or even college kids as we got older, tv stars, the basketball guys, etc. Some chick I knew had a crush on a professor in college. Crushes are one thing. Can the apprentices ‘date’ among themselves? Sure. Apprentices however are “not allowed” (frowned upon by clan culture) to have kits. Their responsibility is to learn, train, and focus. See an apprentice as getting their warrior name as graduating high school.
-Clan cats are “forbidden” (taboo by clan culture) to have a mate within the opposing clan. Can they? For plot reasons, it’s possible. Whether it be a one time thing or taking an actual mate depends on plot as well but not impossible for either.
-Clan cats are NOT forbidden to have a ‘fling’ with a loner. See, this helps from creating the 50-500 interbreeding issue; queens are allowed to sort of ‘take up’ with a loner if they do not have/want a mate. Monarchs-to-be can have a litter sired by an outsider under the conditions they not be from an enemy Clan, they aren’t (that specific clan) personally at ‘war’ with the group they belong to and it’s a litter being SIRED. Go figure but it’s actually kind of ‘socially taboo’ for a tom to go outside the clan to sire kits for some reason unless the monarch is going to join the clan (whereas sires aren’t expected to). In fact according to the family tree many members have former/current rogues as sires. This is usually due to a romantic/sexuality interest (no one your attracted to in the clan but ya still wanna have Dem babies). And a reason monarchs aren’t forced to disclose the father to anyone but the Medicine Cat (who keeps a mental note so a possible monarch won’t get knocked up by their own sire).
-Queens do not need to announce the father to the whole clan; HOWEVER, they do have a system among themselves to prevent more interbreeding. If there is a rough loner that could cause potential harm, they’ll share among the young kit-bear-able warriors who to avoid, or a mother may whisper to her newly made warrior child whom to avoid (their sire). For the clans, the Medicine Cat also is told whom the sire of the kits are (or who they could potentially be) in confidence, and these secrets are passed on to their apprentice in time. In a way, you could say it’s almost as much Medicine Cats duty to help keep genetics getting too scrambled up as well, and to help guide young cats from interbreeding.
- It does not matter if the apprentice is now a warrior, but the former apprentice and their former mentor are (in clan culture) not allowed to become mates due to a power inbalance.
- Playing your own mate is case-by-case! While we have not had this situation occur before we are willing to let you run this as a test under certain circumstances! If it goes well you may play two characters as mates; and if it seems like it is not working out we may ask you to dissolve the relationship.- You cannot jump into the rp as mates. This is a rule of thumb we have for everyone with the exception of pre-made adoptables - so it is best to keep it the same. You can start your characters as good friends but will need to develop their relationship from there into becoming mates.- You will need to balance roleplaying with yourself. You would need to be able to handle “talking to yourself” with the two characters, as well as balancing interacting with others. We wouldn’t want you JUST roleplaying with yourself, and doing only paragraphs of these characters talking with each other and no one else. If you can balance interactions between them and others that’s good!- Also their relationships with others as well as information is non-transferable. Say Blacktail is best friends with Ivyheart - this does not mean that Blacktails mate Doefoot is also best friends with Ivyheart. Also, the second part is for all rpers playing multiple cats in one group - just because Ivyheart told Blacktail something does not mean that Doefoot knows what was shared as well - not unless/until it is seen that Blacktail shares that information with them.- The characters should not agree 100% on everything; they should have separate characteristics, quick’s, personalities, and opinions.- You cannot gang up against others. If one character is in an argument, the other should not come immediately to their aid/hop into the argument to back them up. There are some moments that can be allowed, but it cannot be a constant thing. If you think these can be followed then feel free - but if at any point a mod sees these are hard to follow or are broken on multiple occasion we will ask the relationship be dissolved back into a friendship.
- Age Gaps are case-by-case! An age Gap can be referred to 5 moons, 10 moons, 2 moons, etc where as things like this are more case-by-case and frankly when it comes to roleplaying, it’s better to see what works out in character.
Last year on an rpg sites I was apart of, one of the couple’s that won “Best OTP” we’re like 2 years apart. They never trained together, weren’t mentor-apprentice and in fact one didn’t even join the clan until he was already technically warrior age but trained as an apprentice for a moon due to him behind new to the clan. They were older though, the chemestry between them was solid from what I remember.
This is just an example, but it’s very much like with people; the younger you are, the more weird it is to think about age gaps. Your newly named 12 moon old warrior with a 20 moon old warrior may feel a little weird at least; after all the older warrior was training as an 8 moon apprentice when the younger was born.
However, maybe the younger warrior isn’t interested. They were just made a warrior! Their life is newly interesting, their training is over! They’re probably celebrating with litter mates and doing patrols and having fun!
Then the young warrior is say… 20 moons old. They’re closer with an slightly older warrior who is 28 moons. They get along great, they talk a lot and they actually care about each other.
See, sort of different now.
Age gaps are case by case, and honestly dealt with depending on the comfort level of the individual roleplayers. Maybe some do not wish to venture past 2 moons, maybe two cats fall for each other and find 10 moons between them. It’s really not fair to stop that when things progress.
Basically; outside of the guidelines already stated, you play to your comfort. You don’t have to have your young cat be with anyone they don’t want to, if they decide to be with anyone. They/You get to make the decision! If an age gap is too big then you don’t have to do that.
Also here ‘mate’ is used rather loosely. If your characters just have a one time fling because a young warrior wants to have kits, would they stop and ask the loner their age? Would they care? Maybe they don’t stray to any age gap and become life long partners with someone they trained alongside! Your plot, how you play, is all up to you and your comfort! The only cost is you don’t get a say on someone else’s. (Within the guidelines). If there are any concerns you are always free to bring it up of course but we do our best to make a place safe and fun for everyone!

Cockadoodledoo, (M//M)
Hey! I’m Jonesy! I’ve posted on here before a few months ago, and I spoke with a number of people about starting RPs, and then some shit happened where I was literally unable to get to the computer, thus vanished for a while. For… four months. Yeah. (Anyone want to know what it’s like to wake up from a coma and get in a fist fight with a nurse because you have no idea what’s going on? Just ask.) Anyhoo, if I had something started with you, or even if we were just talking about starting something, and you want to hit me up again, please do! For time’s sake, I’m just gonna copy/paste part of my last advert, because… coughlazycough.
I’m in my late 20’s and am looking for M// literate (advanced) rp partners, ages 25+ please. I do not fade to black or avoid mature themes. My writing style has a casual feel to it, but I use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation, and I prefer that you have a good grasp on this, as well. I write third person paragraph style, and am looking for someone who likes world building and writing three dimensional characters. You know what I mean. If our characters walk into a town, I want to know who else is there, how the buildings are painted, what the air smells like. Take me to it. Paint me a worrrrrrddd pictuuuuureeee. If your character has a Maserati, I want to know how he treats it, how he drives it, and if he has that kind of money, why on EARTH would a Maserati be his car of choice?
Absolute No’s: ….Well crap, I can never think of these until someone asks.
Things I don’t like so much:
-Winey characters
-Super young characters
-Unrealistically serious characters
-Too much drama
-Posts that don’t move the story along (sometimes this is ok but not EVERY post…)
-Short posts.
-Spanish dudes (HA just kidding I LOVE spanish dudes.)
Things I like:
-Spanish dudes
-All dudes
-Size differences
-Humor (Didn’t see that coming, did you?)
-Realistic dialogue*
-Open communication
Genres I like:
-Sci fi
-Urban
-Steampunk
-Apocalyptical
-Dystopian
-Adventure
-Space stuff (This is its own genre, don’t argue with me.)
-Mild horror
What I’m really craving right now is to use my character Ashby, and to find him a partner. I do have some other plots I’d like to write, or if you got something completely different and you want to run it by me, let me know! Worse that can happen is I’d say no. And then hunt you down and put sugar in your gas tank. (But mostly just say no.)
So, Ashby. He’s a very complex character, thus kind of hard to explain while keeping it brief. Ashby Thornton Foster is a real strange creature. Not just because he’s very proper and likes to keep a position as the head butler in a household even though he probably has enough resources to never have to work ever. He’s tall, painfully handsome, with round antique glasses, and auburn hair. Sharp tongue, but can be a little daffy if you catch him off guard. He collects frightening tea pots, has been learning how to cook for 9 billion years but his chicken stew will probably send you to the can for the rest of the night, is excellent with mechanics and spends a lot of his free time tinkering, and has read almost every book ever written but can’t remember what happened in the last chapter of the one he’s currently working on. I should mention that this character is not human. He is a specific species of being that I created myself. I’ll go into it if you’re interested, but the basics are that he has handsomely jagged teeth, large amber eyes, and claw like nails that often lead him to be mistaken as a vampire, however when he shifts out of his human form, he looks more like a sphynx cat and a lady got together. That sounds awful, but he’s actually quite exquisite. (NOT a furry. He just looks a tad strange and has interesting legs.) Ashby is very sweet natured but runs a strict household. He is well respected and well loved.
Ashby has a dark side to him that’s very calculated, very… intentional, if you know what I mean. He has the ability to make you the happiest person alive, but can turn around and cause you a lot of pain and suffering if you give him reason to. Battling with his darker side is a constant struggle. As far as a romantic interest for him, I usually play him as a switch, however he likes pretty masculine men (or beasties) who have the ability to dominate HIM because he doesn’t often run across many who can do so. (And I don’t just mean with sex. He can physically f*ck you up.) I would love to find him someone who can both talk him out of those times when shit gets a little too dark, but can also overpower him if need be.
Usually, I play Ashby in a steampunk setting, and he’s the head butler of a household he runs pretty tightly, but I can also play him in other settings. He translates well. So if you’d like to Rp him in another setting, let me know! This character comes with an identical twin (Molocai, who prob won’t appear) and a Soul Eater character, who sets up camp in whatever town he settles in due to being promised his soul whenever he shuffles off his mortal coil. They’re best friends. (It’s a long story.)
Here were some of the other stories I had ideas for, but if none of them tickle your pickle and you think we’d be a good RP match, let me know, anyway and we can do something else!
Made for one another:
Could fall under sci fi, apocalyptical, dystopian, adventure, hell it could fall under all of them. I have a really loose idea for this one. Two characters are genetically made for one another. Not romantically, but as in two parts that make up a whole. Both are genetically engineered to do something different, but both of their abilities need to be combined for whatever final outcome to happen. (The outcome being what they were created for.) Reasoning behind this was that maybe one person having both abilities, or the one ability that the both of them make up, would overload their system and kill them. Or significantly harm them in some way. Thus, two genetically engineered people were created.
The loose plot I had for this was that maybe one character has escaped the facility that created them. (Escaped a long time ago, perhaps.) This facility has some major unethical and downright inhumane practices (like lab growing people.) Character A. we’ll call him, decides to destroy the place, maybe from the inside out. (Perhaps he’s some kind of mercenary or rogue whatnot, living his life in secrecy so no one from said facility finds him, blah blah.) Ever see Alien Resurrection? With that scene where Ripley goes into the lab and finds all the failed experiments?.... No? Just me? Okay. Anyway, so while Character A. is torching the place, he finds Character B, who is the only experiment alive. He can’t just leave him there to die, so he takes him with him. That’s how they meet, but I don’t have much else for a plot for this story, other than that I see Character A as being kind of an asshole so they struggle a lot and much later they discover they’re literally made for one another.
Mad Max:
This would be sort of based on the Mad Max world (as in the 2015 movie, even though I do so love the originals) though not using any of the characters, places, or… you know, anything. The world is a wasteland, but it’s not oil/gasoline that’s the hot commodity, it’s water. The wasteland is filled with different tribes, none of them very nice unless you belong to one of them. This pairing would be a character that’s kind of like Max, a lone wolf who belongs to no tribe and wanders, and…. I dunno, I guess he would be a POW? He’s a warrior from another tribe that was captured. Character A stops (cautiously) in one of the territories to trade for water and supplies. Character B is pretty roughed up and knows he’ll eventually end up dying if he doesn’t get away somehow, so his main objective is to get Character A to trade for him. Obviously, this eventually happens. Character A discovers that Character B has something that would be useful to him (maybe it’s just knowledge of mechanics and whatnot) so he ends up trading for him. Plot twist! They end up HATING one another. And maybe Character A finds out that Character B was lying all along and can’t really do the thing Character A traded him for, however now they’re stuck together, because they’re crossing the wasteland.
Space Pirates (Totally not nerdy AT ALL.)
I have a space captain. He’s an alien. He has a super cool space ship and a super cool crew. His species is rarely seen in this part of the galaxy, usually they are a very secretive race living in deep, deep space, that remain secluded, however Janka has been exiled, and now creates a lot of havoc and headaches for anyone he encounters. I have a real old descrip of him from… jesus, like 2010 that I haven’t updated, but I’ll send it if he sounds interesting! Anyway, he’s a sarcastic, lazy sh*tface, kinda pretty gross without meaning to be, but he’s a real loveable character. Likes blowing things up. Kind of clumsy, which isn’t the best thing for someone who’s built like he is. He’s well known in space ports all over, so he sticks to the real shady ones, where he’s somewhat popular. This character comes with an entire crew, and bonus interesting genitalia. He really needs someone to take care of him (emotionally.) Very hard headed when it comes to relationships (“What? No, I didn’t get you anything for your birthday. You said not to get you anything.”) but when he falls for someone, he falls hard.
*Please note that all of my characters are usually in their late twenties or older with VERY few that are mid-twenties. I also do not play with younger characters, and prefer them to be around the same age category.
*Let me explain about the realistic dialogue. Two OC’s walk into a bar. My OC walks up to the bartender and says “Ay, Sugartits, I’ll have the usual.” Your OC says “I will have a beer.” Unless your OC is either a.) An android or b.) Two 12 year olds in a big coat, or c.) Horribly constipated, he’d better say something an actual human being would say. “I’ll have a beer.” “Gimme a beer.” “Just whatever you got on tap.” “Uh… Beer’s fine.” Don’t make your character sound like they’re reading a bad script.
If I haven’t scared you off, shoot me an email at [email protected]
My RP mediums are usually Skype, Email, and I can be persuaded into Discord.
And just to clarify. Gay RP. Plot before Porn. Thank you

The Master of Mankind's return Chapter 1 The Penitent Guardian and the Soulless Queen.(Having someone to talk too while your walking through an alien dimension killing daemons is always nice.)
Here is the full and complete chapter. When I tried o post this on my phone there was a word limit. I posted this from laptop. This fic may be up on Archive of Our own alongside Endryd Haar: The Riven Hound. Feel free to reblog, message me and send asks to me about this fic and my other projects.
For more shenanigans with the Emperor’s favorite banana check out my ask/RP blog @ask-constaninvaldor
Now that this shameless advertising is now done, i’d like to thank @sisterofsilence and @asklotarasarrin for their help with this fic. I’d also like to thank @ask-tribune-ra @hdreaper, @lontau and @bleachedraptor2 for their reviews on the previous upload of this fic.
Constantin Valdor had seen many ugly things in this universe. He had also seen many beautiful things. The Webway was a mixture of both. The ground he strode across was yellow alien brick, the sky an inky blue with streaks of purple.
Valdor was on a quest. One of atonement. Of redemption. If he was successful, there would be hope for humanity again.
If he failed, the species his master had sacrificed himself for were all doomed.
The former Captain-General was not alone in his endeavor, at his left was the former Knight-Commander of the Sisters of Silence, the warrior maiden without a soul, Jenetia Krole.
Both warrior’s armor were rent and scarred. Constantin's black mourning cloak was in tatters.
The top of Jenetia’ head had a few fresh scars her left arm was bandaged and her.her cloak was gone. The fur pelt that adorned her armor was nothing but scraps.
“We’re getting closer. I can feel it.” Valdor said aloud.
Jenetia didn't reply with words, but her left hand formed a gesture of what was called thoughtmark.
+Are you sure? To be here so soon after only a month of traveling?+
“I feel it my bones Jenetia. This part of the webway. It matches my dreams. The one our King sent to me.”
+I believe you my friend, but as someone who did not receive visions from the Emperor what makes you so sure?+
“The sky. Whatever is keeping the warp form pouring in is failing. Soon it will surge like water through a broken dam. And all the daemons we have faced were minions of the plague god. And they have been fighting with a desperation I have never seen before. Seven of his princes dead by your own blade. Five of them by mine. If we are not close, than why does Nurgle send so many of his finest hellspawn to die at our hands old friend?”
+The gods of Chaos are not conventional foes Constantin. Only the Emperor could see their plots. How do you know we are not walking into a trap?+
“Jenetia why would our King send me visions of us in the Webway? Or visions of the xenos goddess Nurgle claimed as his prize of war?”
+What if it wasn't Him?+ Jenetia signed.
“It was Him.” Valdor said. The Custodes’ voice cracked a little bit.
“Jenetia It was His psychic signature. I don't know how, but it was Him. I felt it in my bones.” Valdor said.
+I believe you Constantin, but the judgment of someone who is grieving is not always sound. Not to mention this plan of yours is rather simplistic . We break into Nurgle’s realm, kill a ridiculous amount of daemons, save the Eldar goddess Isha and convince her to heal Him or drag her with us back to Terra and force her to heal him+
“Simple plans are sometimes the best.” Valdor said evenly.
+Sometimes I forget how much of a fracking idiot you are Constantin Valdor+ she signed.
“If I'm a fracking idiot why did you accompany me than?” Valdor asked.
+Because someone has to keep your golden ass alive. And I want Him back too+ she signed.
The two friends conversation was interrupted by the sound of 70 slimy footsteps. More daemons.
+Plaguebearers+ Jentia signed.
The Lesser daemons charged the pair, Plagueswords raised. Valdor sent four to their death with a swing of his spear. Jenetia split one’s head open like an eggshell with Veracity. The two carved through the horde of daemons with the ease of two friends who had fought alongside each other for years. The Apollonian Spear and Veracity rose and fell, rose and fell until all who stood against their wielders were dead.
Valdor paused to catch his breath. Jenetia remained silent.
+That would have gone quicker if we hadn’t run out of ammunition a few days ago+
“I actually have one round left.” Valdor said.
Jenetia was about to reply when the ground began to rumble. A sound similar to that of a stomach growling filled the air of the ancient dimension.
The sky fell, and reality was shattered.
Hundreds of thousands of Nurgles Daemons poured into this section of the Webway. Nurglings, Plague Bearers, Blight Drones,
+You going to use that one round?+ Jenetia signed as the two ran like frack.
“I was saving it for a tight spot.” Valdor said as the alien road crumbled like Horus’ masculinity.
+Up ahead, it looks like a portal of some kind+
The portal was grey octagonal thing with shimmering yellow and pink light. Eldar runes were carved into it.
This better take us to Nurgle’s Mansion and not a Harlequin’s Bathhouse. Valdor thought.
Constantin scooped Jenetia, her crimson tresses briefly obscuring her vision. Jenetia did not question the Custodian picking her up like Malcador’s cat or a damsel in distress. She understood he did not want to loose her in case the portal separated them.
Valdor ran faster than the time a horde of sugar high Ligo Aetos chased him and Ra around the Tranquil Courts. Shifting his left shoulder forward, Valdor jumped into the xenos portal.
The second they emerged from the portal, Jenetia leapt out of Valdor’s arms. She tucked her lithe form into a ball, her topknot swaying as she rolled forward, Veracity drawn and ready to carve up daemons like lamb chops.
Valdor did not share the Sister of Silence’s grace, he stumbled forward and fell face first on the ground. He coughed up greyish dirt and black tar like liquid.
Valdor groaned, stared at the ground, than at the sky. “We are we?” he asked. +The Formless Wastes+ Jenetia signed +Our King told me this is simultaneously the most valuable and the most useless part of the Realm of Chaos. No god of Chaos has claimed this territory but many Greater Daemons and Daemon Princes have carved out their own little estates here+
Valdor surveyed the area. “I was hoping for a more direct route to our objective, but at least we’re out of the Webway.”
+Progress is progress, now all we have to do is find a daemon of Nurgle, beat the snot of out and then my silence will force it to tell us the route to Nurgle’s Mansion.+ Jenetia signed.
Constantin smiled at her.
He felt something he hadn’t felt since before the Heresy.
Hope
He sighed and breathed in the tainted air.
“We best get moving Jenetia.” Valdor said.
+You are smiling+ Jenetia signed.
“No i’m not.” Valdor replied.
+How long have we known each other Constanin? You are smiling. I haven’t seen you smile since, by the Throne, I can’t remember You’ve been as stoic as Dorn since the War in the Webway. Arlette told me talking to you since than was like she was dealing with a Ligo Aetos and not the First of the Ten Thousand. +
Valdor was about the reply, when something large and as heavy as a Coronus Grav-Carrier slammed into him and sent him sprawling to the ground.
He quick recovered, the Apollonian Spear ready to mete out a swift end to whoever had attacked him. He stared at what had attacked him and couldn’t believe his eyes.
Two figures, one clad in armor that had once been shining gold, now in the black of a son who had believed he had failed his father. The other clad in armor the color the sky during a storm were trading blows with the fury only brothers could.
“I can’t believe you abandoned your chapter your fracking braindead lout!” the figure in black yelled. His hair had once been neatly close cropped but was not messily styled and trimmed, like it had been cut with a combat knife. His eyes were blue. His hair and stubble the color of freshly fallen snow. He smashed the stump where his left hand had once been into the target of his insults face.
“We thought you died you stubborn bastard!” the figure in grey roared. The demigod’s hair was blonde, his eyes that of a man who lusted for life and the death of the wicked in equal measure. He blocked the blows to his canine-like face with his arms
“I’ve been trapped here in the Warp, I never ran off to find some made up way to restore our father!” the one clad in mourning black screamed.
“Rogal? Leman?” Constantin asked.
+This is surprising.+ Jenetia signed. She then made the gesture for “laughing my ass off.” in Thoughtmark.
The two primarchs stopped fighting.
“Constantin!” Russ said joyfully. The Primarch of the Space Wolves embraced the Custodes in a bear hug.
“And your looking as radiant as ever Lady Krole!” Russ bellowed
+Is that a joke, Wolf-King?+ Jenetia signed.
+Tis the truth m’lady.+ Russ replied in Thoughtmark.
Leman turned to the Primarch of the Imperial Fists.
“Aren't ya going to greet them Rogal?” Leman said.
Rogal sighed, his stony features scrunched up.
“Greetings Captain-General Valdor, Greetings Knight Commander Krole.” Rogal said.
“So what are ya doing here?” Leman asked.
Valdor decided to bite the bolt round and the tell the two sons of his King why he and his closest friend where in the Realm of Chaos.
“I received visions from the Emperor. Visions of Jenetia and I in the Webway. Visions of Nurgle’s mansion.
I intend to rescue the Eldar goddess Isha from Nurgle’s clutches, and convince her or force her to return to Terra with us, so that she may heal the Emperor and save humanity.” Valdor said.
Leman Russ broke out in laughter.
Rogal Dorn’s right eye twitched, his features darkened.
“Have you gone mad Constantin Valdor? If the Emperor needed to a filthy xenos He would have told us when we placed him on that damned throne!.” Rogal shouted.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this but calm yourself brother. And besides you don’t need a xenos sorcerer. I set out to find the Tree of Life!” Leman said
For the second time, Jenetia Krole made the sign for “Laughing my ass off.”
+The Tree of Life was destroyed during the final days of the Terran Unification Wars Leman Russ. It was not a source of untainted Warp Energy, but an artifact of the Dark Age of Technology that consumed the souls of psykers to sustain it user. The Emperor judged it to be dangerous and so that He would not be tempted to use its evil power destroyed with the blade I now wield+
Leman Russ immediately began cursing in Fenrisian. Constantin grasped all of it including apart that mentioned something about leaving an Astartes named Bjorn behind.
Rogal slowly shook his head.
+How did you end up here Rogal?+ Jenetia asked.
“I was separated from my chapter. The traitors have returned. Sigismund- Dorn’s wavered for just the fraction of a second.
“Sigismund had been waiting outside the Eye with his chapter. He was convinced that the traitors would return one day. He was right. The traitor's returned. Horus’ 1st Captain Abaddon was leading them. They sent his body to Terra. I only had three Companies of my chapter with me, the rest were scattered on other campaigns. When we arrived at Cadia we were vastly outnumbered. Hundreds of ships against the Phalanx and Three Strike Cruisers We launched hit and run and attacks on their fleet. Of Abaddon on the Vengeful Spirit, there was no sign. I led an assault on the one of the Traitors battleships, the Sword of Sacrilege. We stormed the bridge but we were overwhelmed. I ordered my sons to retreat. My Huscarls were slain, just before we made it to the savior pods. I lost my hand to a World Eater with an Eviscerator. It ended up in one of the savior pods My blade joined it when it was knocked out of my hands by a thunder hammer. Somehow when I was killing the remaining World Eaters with my remaining fist the pod was launched. The ship made a warp jump just as I had entered another savior pod It crashed here, why I ran into Leman.”
“Quite a tale.” Valdor said.
“Yes.” Rogal said. The seventh primarch’s mask of stone was back in place now. Any traces of his anger now carefully veiled.
“So which way is Nurgle’s Mansion?” Russ asked.
“Unknown. We’ll have to beat the answer out of one of the Plague God’s Daemons.” Valdor said.
Sounds like fun,” Russ said with a grin.
“What do ya think Rogal?” Leman said.
“If there is a way to revive our father, even it involves a filthy xenos whe should take it. The Imperium cannot survive without him.”
“Than we are in agreement.” Valdor said.
Valdor resumed his quest with a somewhat lighter heart. The burden of his failure was still heavy on him. But he was close to finding the one thing that could save his King. Not to mention his best friend and two of his King’s sons that he could actually tolerate were by his side.
Things were looking up.
As the four resumed their quest unaware a Nurgling had been watching their entire conversation.
The adorable daemon disappeared in a poof! of green smoke.
The Nurgling reappeared in the hallways of a decrepit manor. Scampering across rotting wood and leaving a slimy trail behind it , the daemon made its way to its master’s chambers.
A short pudgy man sat on a stool, stirring a cauldron. His eyes were a sick green. His hair greasy and receding.
“What is it?” Nurgle asked.
The Nurgling screeched and bleated in a language only Nurgle and those who gave their souls to him could understand.
Nurgle laughed, his seven chins jiggling. He scooped the Nurgling up in his arms and it nuzzled against his belly.
“So the Anathema wishes to take away my beloved and walk the mortal plain again” Nurgle mused. The plague god was not scared. Sure he had tried to prevent the Anathema’s pet and the abomination that followed him from entering the realm of Chaos and sent a horde of his daemon kin to kill them, but he knew his pretty ones would stand no chance.
The plague god stirred his cauldron and contemplated his options.
He’d send Mortarion. Yes her would summon Mortarion and have deal with his two brothers and the Custodian and the pariah.
And if he failed, well it had been quite some time since he had gotten his hands dirty

Thoughts on a Human Warriors AU?
This is mostly me just having no life and no ability to channel my ideas into art sooo now Im thinking of random AU and RP possibilities.
At one point I roleplayed on a site and they did an AU which ended up getting its own site, where each clan became a gang in a postapocalyptic city.
My favorite possibility, is rival Noble houses, or clans of the same family, with outsiders who are married, adopted, or brought in. They basically fight for power in a city state where there is a monarch who has just enough power to play them off each other.
So if we go with the canon clans you have the Clan of the River (or the Sea if I made it the way I want to), the Clan of Thunder, the Clan of Shadows, and the Clan of the Wind. Or I could go with giving them names like Clan Umbra (shadow), Clan Fulmen (Lightning, light, flash), Clan Mare (Sea), and Clan Ventus. Potentially the monarch could be the head of Clan Caelum (Sky).
I spent way too long thinking about this so umm, maybe have a read more? So people who only want warrior cats wont hate me XD But hey if you’re interested keep reading!
Anyway, each clan is known for their “thing.”
Mare controls the docks and sea around the city state, and are the masters of the navy (and also pirates to any ship which doesnt have a shipping agreement with them, which drives other clans nuts when they dont want to pay tariffs for shipments and try to get around them). Mare is known for shrewd and clever dealing with others, but also underhanded methods. Their youth are encouraged to run wild and get rid of their energy and resentment to better serve the family as adults. They specialize in the navy and ships.
Umbra supposedly controls the information flow for the city, but ultimately Umbra basically is the criminal underground, and you cant really be a criminal without Umbra’s approval, or without working directly with them. Umbra has its fingers in every pie, but very few overt resources to make power plays. Their youth is spent hidden in plain sight, as spies for their elders. After all who pays attention to a child or a teenager. They specialize in assassinations, covert operations.
Clan Fulmen is the science area, and are known for messing around with things they REALLY SHOULDNT. They are the only Clan that uses gunpowder weaponry, and their youth are known for being arrogant and daredevil, because they believe that they are superior to the other clans intellectually. They specialize in big flashy powerful displays of weaponry.
Clan Ventus is known for their carefree nature, and their defense of the outer areas of the city. They have hot air balloons which watch over the city, and much of the borders of the city are manned by their people. Their young people are encouraged to go on journeys of self discovery, to learn through personal experience. They specialize in adapting to new situations, and pick up new skills well, and among their skill sets include survival in the wild, and interaction with animals such as horses, dogs, and other animals used in farming and husbandry.
Clan Caelum protects the Monarch. They are made up of original clan members, usually those closely related to the monarch, and any people from other clans who have married into the clan. This clan is the most likely to recruit from outside its ranks through merit and trust to build and protect the city in a form of police force and secret service for the Monarch. Their youth spend their apprentice years working hard to prove themselves worthy of the respect of their elders and become officers in the corp of troops. They specialize in martial arts and weapons and are formidable fighters.
Why the heck am I still doing this I need to get a life.
They have their own form of a warrior code, and there are still parts of it that remain, particularly the rule about children. A lot of it is adapted of course but its still a code of honor.
Another thing which unites them is their religious beliefs. There is a temple which has a groups of priests? Oracles? Some form of religious people. And they teach that the clans were chosen from the beginning of time, and that those who live extraordinary lives, or something I dont know, will one day move on to the Starry Halls. Yeah this section is still sketchy.
Anyway, I dont know, I love working with fun possibilities and I love human warrior Aus.
Anyone want to plot with me? Maybe an rp?

You have Warrior cats ocs?
I made whole clans. I invented my own setting with my new clans. The only thing tying them to the original universe was that StarClan was called StarClan and that they’re cats who live in elaborate hierarchies and fight each other and have heterosexual relationship drama constantly.
So I had six Clans, and two Tribes. Each tribe was three of the clans - so the clans within each Tribe kept to their own territories, patrolled their borders, didn’t intermingle too much, but it wasn’t a deathly scandal if a cat mated with a cat from another clan, as long as you shared a tribe. Inter-tribal rivalries were…….Murder. Death. Hate. ThunderClan-ShadowClan first series throwdowns and hate.
The two tribes were SummerTribe and WinterTribe. The three Winter clans were IceClan, RainClan, and MountainClan. The three Summer clans were FireClan, MarshClan, and…..fuck what was the last one? Fuck. Uh. WhateverClan.
SO. I populated all of these clans with names, and then I had my main cast. And the context here is important. These clans were long established, founded by cats who bore those names - Firewhatever, Rainwhatever, Whateverwhatever. And like, once that happens, no one names their kids with that prefix. Like there’s no ThunderClan cats named Thunderwhatever. That’s like Mary Sue style. (I generally don’t like the term “Mary Sue” but I’m gonna apply it to my own characters as I see fit.)
You can probably guess where I’m going with this: my main cast was six cats. Icewhatever, Firewhatever, Mountainwhatever, Marshwhatever, Rainwhatever, Whateverwhatever.
There was no reason for this. If there was some kinda prophecy bullshit that these idiots were supposed to fulfill, I don’t remember having one. Like there was no reason they were named like this and I didn’t justify it and I just kept rolling with it because fuckit those names were cool.
Icepaw was my main character. She was a light blue cat. Cats aren’t that color. We just fucking roll with it. The story started off with her receiving her warrior name, Iceheart. Did the leader hate her? Maybe. Like who does that to a cat. “Yeah your name is Iceheart. I don’t like you and I want you to be friendless because everyone will hear your name and think you’re a dick. Iceheart. Heart of ice. Icy heart. Yeah that’s a good name. Well done, me.”
I mean Iceheart was kind of a dick but I don’t know whether that was correlation or causation. Could be either.
So her two bffs were Rain… Rainpelt? Rainpelt, and IT WAS STONECLAN NOT MOUNTAINCLAN FUCK okay her best friends were Rainpelt and Stonelord. Iceheart and Stonelord had a fling, and then they broke up because of heterosexual nonsense: Iceheart fell for gasp a cat from the other tribe! HOW DARE SHE. SHUN. His name was Fire-eye and he was a fucking dipshit but he was sweet and funny and fucking. Ice and Stone over here like
LEAFCLAN THE LAST ONE WAS LEAFCLAN
Like thematically you know that Ice and Stone is not going to be a warm and fluffy, good, relationship. It just isn’t and I was way more into the thematics of Fire and Ice. So Iceheart dumped Stonelord and there was Drama and Fire-eye’s best friends, Marsh….Marshpelt? Then Rainpelt wouldn’t have been that. Uh. I’ll look up the details in the folders on my external hard drive from two laptops ago later, but I wanna run this from memory now. MARSHFUR we’ll call him Marshfur. And Leafwhatever, I’m not gonna try to remember her name. Marshfur and Leafwhatev weren’t very fleshed out characters. They existed so that Fire-eye would have friends. They were in a relationship. It was drama-free, because Fire-eye, Iceheart, and Stonelord used up literally all of the drama that was in the universe. No one else can have drama. These three have a monopoly on heterosexual nonsense.
Side note: like “Iceheart” is a bad name but also naming your kid “Marshkit” is like….why. Just call him Mudkit why don’t you. At least it isn’t Bogkit or Mirekit or Swampkit. WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY SWAMPCLAN TERRITORY if I ever did anything with Warriors ever again I’d have a SwampClan, led by Onionstar. WAIT NO, led by Allstar. Fuck you.
Anyway I never got to a plot resolution. Sometimes I waffled on Fire-eye and Iceheart having kids because drama. Eventually I gave Stonelord a gf named Honeysomething. They were cute. Stonelord got to be less of a dick as time went on, and Iceheart inversely became more of a dick. Stonelord’s just trying to get on with life with his sweet girlfriend and Iceheart just keeps popping out of nowhere screaming “AND ANOTHER THING” at him and honestly I hope Rainpelt found better friends.
Anyway all of the six became clan leaders so they were all Icestar, Firestar (heh), Marshstar, Stonestar, Rainstar, and Leafstar.
Skip ahead several generations. Setting: some AIM RPs I did with my bff @scattereddreamer. She had some of her own original clans too maybe? Whatever. Anyway we had our two Kits of Prophecy. Hers was Icekit, mine was Aurapaw. What the fuck do cats know about auras anyway? I mean they’re all kind of hippie stoner cats with the “go to sleep around a rock/a pond and commune with our dead ancestors” thing but honestly. I don’t fucking know. Aurapaw. Her siblings all had normal names. I think there was Smokepaw and Wolfpaw and someone else. They weren’t important to this.
So anyway, Icekit and Aurapaw were learning that they were prophecized by chatting with their ancestors - my six ‘stars whose life drama you have read, and then SD’s four. She also had an Icestar. So there were two Icestars and an Icekit because fuck you.
Anyway there wasn’t much actual “learn about your destiny” going on because it was mostly “Icestar and Stonestar continue their heterosexual nonsense, part 73.4, the redux, right back at you with this shit.” Like you assholes are dead Icestar your mate is right there hi Firestar right fucking there and you’re going at it with your ex because neither of you knows how to let go and you both live for drama to the detriment of literally everyone ever around you.
When she was feeling super petty which was all the time, Icestar would call him “Stoneheart” like bruh your name is Iceheart don’t go around trying to tell Stonelord “ha your heart is stone” by making up a new name for him, your given name was literally Iceheart. You trashcan. You absolute fool.
I think, in terms of real-world chronology, those RPs happened before I gave Stonelord his mate so back then he was just a forever alone douchecanoe still hung up on his ex after all these years, including all nine of their deaths and then however long eternity has been so far. God, eternity sucks.
And those were my Warrior Cats OCs.
#i'm crying omg this was a good break from my midterms#DO YOU REALLY WANNA KNOW. DO YOU REALLY. WELL NOW YOU'RE GONNA. YOU ASKED#well i guess this is an oc tag#you never truly leave the warrior cats fandom#runningwolf62#cat hell forever

dang, that Madagascar RP sounded amazing to play in... shame the cool ones die so young. ;w; speaking of, what do U think of rps that have a set amount of words U need to type? like, say, 200 or 500 or whatever? trying to think if my own RP should have it or not,,, i can see how they could work, but at the same time, if some1 doesn't want to write a lot of words, it could become pointless ? curious to hear your thoughts!
Now, before I say anything, let me say that everyone has their own needs and wants in RP land and that’s 100% okay. Also long post is LONG
tl;dr: I like wordcounts fine and having admined before I have some specific ideas about doing so
I got my start on a very, very lax board. No wordcount, not even a character app. In 2007 I don’t even know if there were RPs that used apps. You just joined as a kit in whatever Clan and you increased in rank by how many posts you made. Very informal, very chill, high turnover.
Eventually I grew enough as a writer that I began to find this level of RP was becoming boring. I felt like I was investing more of my time/effort in replies and not getting anywhere near as much in return. At that time, ~2009-10 I was in a Big Mood and writing 700-800 words on average with a limited amount of characters, maybe 5 max.
So when I began seeking out different RPs I found they came with required applications and wordcounts. In later years claim boards, point counts, templates, etc were also added. It’s a lot to deal with, which definitely limits appeal, thus lowering how many people will join and stick with your site. However, the people who do stay tend to be very loyal, very invested, and have large numbers of characters each.
Over the years I’ve pretty much found my niche, which is I won’t join no-limit boards or boards with under 200 min requirements, but I also won’t join boards where you’re expected to average 1000 or so words per post. I COULD do that, if I wanted to, but it would take me an hour at the least and sometimes there’s only so much you can add to a post about hunting.
If I started my own RP in this day and age this is what I’d do:
Small character app. Mostly just want to establish NPC characters needed, former mentors, which relatives are PCs, basic appearance and personality. NOTHING longer than 2k really I don’t need an entire life history
Traditional naming system bc duh, I’ve invested time in this ofc I’m gonna use it
Rank increases by post count. This was my favorite thing back in the early days. It was so simple, and easier/more dependable than going off completed threads (bc they get dropped/ppl leave so often). It was also an in-universe plot point bc it would manufacture litters where they didn’t all graduate at the same times, like in early canon
Character limits. Probably around 6 or so, allowing for one chara per Clan (in a 4 clan system) and then an extra rogue/kittypet slot and a kit adopt slot. This both keeps people from spreading themselves too thin and also encourages people to kill off their warriors at reasonable ages (if they really want a new kit they will have to give up a current chara)
~500 wordcount. POSSIBLY with bonuses for going over by at least a hundred
Restrictions on high positions! These are normally played by admins, who are busy with admin stuff and sometimes aren’t as active as I feel they ought to be (I’ve been guilty of this myself). Admins get ONE high position. Actually maybe everyone only gets one high position, to keep opportunities more open for everyone. (That’d be up to 16 diff ppl if all MCs had apprentices.) Leaders are expected to die at a reasonable rate, and to account for this I would have the starting leaders begin with different numbers of lives left.
Accurate genetics, kit randomizers bc I love those and I’m good (enough) at genetics to crank a full litter out in a sitting if I wanted to
Specific medicine cat plot/posting requirements. So many times I see MCs fade into the background or their players leave bc there’s nothing for them to do if they’re not allowed their own plots. Cats should be getting sick and injured constantly bc that’s life, and there’s no reason to keep these relatively minor plots out of commission
Leaders get more autonomy in assigning apprentice-mentor pairs AS LONG AS they make these decisions in-character (people can, ofc, request mentors for their own plot points)
Randomized mini plots/mini events. This is probably the most taxing and time-consuming part of running an RP outside of moving a large overarching Plot. Admins HAVE to be know their limits and not promise too much, unfulfilled promises are a HUGE board killer. But done well, random events are SO FUN and also I would give bonuses to people who volunteer to kill their charas for the sake of realism.
Technically you don’t exactly need a Big Plot if you can do enough smaller ones to keep people entertained. There’s a big appeal in letting people just create their own smaller dramas and live out their characters’ full lives. Sometimes your players can even come up with ideas for what can become a Big Plot, and by then pretty much everyone is already on board with it, bc it came from them, organically, rather than being imposed from Above

*OakClan: A DeviantArt+Skype based RPG. The clan is large and friendly, however as a DeviantArt RPG you will be expected to draw to meet goals and have deadlines.
*Dawn of The Clans. A DeviantArt and Skype based RPG that takes place in the same universe as Avatar: The Last Airbender. Humans have been gone for a long time, and the clans are divided similar to the Four Nations; the cats born with elemental abilities akin to their clan. Again, you will be expected to meet art goal and deadlines.
*Feline Hub: A small friendly community coming highly recommended from both a former FeralFront member and an extremely helpful World Building + OC Helper. While the site leans a little more towards the traditional side, the site is open for new clan applications and more members! This site is also LGBTQA+ Friendly!
*The Forest Beyond: Made by heros from HellDen2K17 of Feralfront to start anew. They seem to also include the favorite basics such as Families and a Genetic Center.
*Raven’s Wing: Made in 2015 from an earlier HellDen escaped. Very open, kind and welcoming staff!
*MuseBunny: A new site in the makes from HellDen2K17 survivors open to new and different RP experiences.
*BearBones: A Work in Progress open to members. So far it really is looking good!
*CritterCosmos: Is an open rpg site with a new Warrior Cats section. It is run and owned by former FeralFront Staff and Members from one of the first HellDens.
*Xanje: Now owned by Nick (no more Wynn) this site has multiple realms of roleplaying and pet collecting games. Many FF members have moved here and the communities are large and welcoming!
*A New Dawn: An older warrior cats rpg that meets a more traditional criteria. While I have yet to hear back on open chats, they do seem more open to certain idea and member interaction. They also run interactive sitewide plots.
*Warrior Cats of the Forest: While staff messaging seems a little harder for an outsider, and they do have stricter criteria, if you enjoy more traditional roleplays you may find this to be the catsite you’re looking for!
*Beginning of History: A newer warriors rp site that I had the chance to talk to current members about. There is a site-wide plot in the makings, and is completely LGBT+ friendly! The community is very easy to get welcomed into, and all and all will personally be trying for myself!
*Forest’s Edge: Currently hosting a massive site wide plot. The clans are on the edge of war, a flood has made three of the five clans leave their camps, and it’s so LGBT+ friendly all the leaders are somewhere in the category! There are minor activity checks just to make sure that higher powers stay active and members stay aware of their characters. After chatting with the friendly community, I will also be giving this site a shot!
*Concrete Pawsteps: To take another turn, this is much like a warrior cats rpg, but for wolves! If you were more interested in the hounds and packs part of old feralfront, this may be the site for you doglovers! There are rules against discrimination, and no rules against LGBT characters! And unlike some staff in FeralFront, there are LGBT+ Staff on this site! During the Site Interview the Admin even stepped back and let MEMBERS SPEAK FREELY how they felt welcomed on this site! There are more details for the site plot in the works, and the application process is very easy. Again, another warm and friendly recommended site!
*Fate of Five: I surprisingly found this when I was going through an old archived site that happened to alliance themselves with F05! Like the others above it is a very loving community and highly recommend it!
*Deep In The Meadow: A recently revamped site with a promising future I look forward to seeing.
*Teeth Lost: A recently revamped site with a promising future I look forward to seeing.

Vellusia In-Depth
An in-depth look at Vellusia Thorne (because I didn’t want to crash TRP). Scroll to the bottom of this post for my RP Style.
“Rose petals and thyme…mother put them in my pillowcase at night. She said that it would protect me, keep me safe. It hasn’t—what good are a handful of crushed leaves and petals when the nightmares are real? But I do it anyway…I do it always.”
-Vellusia to the Druidess Fawnwood ((March, 2017))
Physical
Lower Middle-Class Gilnean: Vellusia’s eyes are a vibrant green, her hair afire with strands of auburn and ginger. Her skin is as pale as any child of a storm-wrought landscape, and is likely unable to tan. A spray of freckles cover her face, most densely gathered on the bridge of her nose. She is neither especially tall, nor short, but hers is an athletic build. Nimble and resilient, her physique is almost diametrically healthier than her mind.
Psychology
A Conflicting Nature: Human at her core, Vellusia is eager and excitable, with a spirit full of mischief and a heart that longs for adventure. She can, at times, be witty and sarcastic, and is unwaveringly loyal to her friends. Strong willed to a fault, Vellusia doesn’t suffer bullies quietly, and in an argument, tends to become frustrated and retaliatory.
Completely at odds with her original (human) personality, Vellusia is haunted by her Worgen Affliction, which she views as a curse. Due to complications with her transformations (see History below), Vellusia is horrified of “losing herself” to the animal within. She has no greater fear.
Having survived a difficult youth before the curse, Vellusia subconsciously fragments herself in times of duress—should she panic or suffer physical harm, she tends to accidentally slip into her own mind for protection leaving nothing but the animal within to steer the ship. This defense mechanism has come at a heavy cost: while in this state, Vell is nearly completely unconscious of her actions, and awakens later to discover what she has done.
Knowing that, as a Worgen, she had mauled a friend in the past, there is nothing in the world she fears more than herself—and that fear feeds into itself, perpetuating the cycle. Determined to fight this fate, Vellusia struggles to gain control, acceptance, and balance within herself...and within her wolf.
The Wolf Within: Vellusia (as a neglected child) had always felt a natural resistance to authority, though, if the position of leadership is made through friendship and respect, she will happily follow orders. Conversely, with Worgen blood now pulsing through her veins, she has a very difficult time denying an order made by whoever she perceives as the alpha of a group. She may resist, but eventually succumb to a command she disagrees with. Vellusia resents this aspect of herself, as she prefers to be a free-thinker and struggles with the concept of losing her free will to blind instinct.
Having suffered an exceptionally rocky transition to Worgen, Vellusia tends to trust and relate to humans most. She is unsettled by Worgen, not out of distaste, but out of insecurity. Their wolfen manner of expression reads as a foreign language to Vell--but, unable to deny her instincts entirely, she has begun to feel the “pull of the pack” when around confident Worgen. Still at odds with herself, the power of influence from Worgen to Worgen frightens her, and she attempts to avoid it.
Vellusia has subconsciously begun to see her human and elven companions as “her pack” and when a member is lost, she suffers deeply.
History
Early Life: Vellusia has told more than a few lies about her past. She spins colorful tales of heroism and tragedy, painting her family as brave and celebrated Watchmen, standing vigil at the mighty eastern-wall tower against a forsaken enemy. She has also been known to include stories about her 7 younger brothers--none of whom exist.
Much as she enjoys a good bit of mischief, Vellusia doesn’t lie for her own amusement, but rather, out of shame. The truth, the reality of her life is something she has always attempted to escape. Her pretty, red-haired mother, Amelia, was not a bold guardian, but suffered from extreme mental instability (manic schizophrenia). And her father, Edgar, was no heroic warrior of the wall, but an apathetic drunk.
The Thorne family had watched over the small tower beside the eastern bridge of scenic Gilneas for five generations, but Vellusia would be the small plot’s final inheritor. Her parents, as she knew them, were incapable of acting as true watchmen.
In rare moments of clarity, Amelia would tell Vellusia stories of brighter days before her breakdown and Edgar’s subsequent alcoholism. If there was a cause for Amelia’s madness, it was never spoken of, and Vellusia could not remember a time when her mother was sane. So frequent were her attacks, that Amelia could go from acting as a sweet and doting mother, to gibbering nonsense, to fits of hysteria and accidental self-harm. Her father only seemed to break from his stupors to save Amelia from damaging herself, just to return swiftly to the bottle.
Witnessing these frightening and chaotic swings at a young age were the cause of Vellusia’s subconscious creating safe places within her mind. Even as a child, she’d run off alone to play in the Blackwald, and pretend her life was something greater.
In many ways, Vellusia raised herself, struggling to balance caring for her parents and making the long trek to the Stormglen Village schoolhouse on foot. Her unfailing optimism and enthusiasm carried her through those early years, and though she was poorer than many of the other village children and was occasionally picked on by bullies, she strode forth, chin-high and determined for a better future.
As a young adult out of options for real change, Vellusia saw her broken parents and considered the very real possibility that she would share their fate: Well-intending, but stagnant, drunk and riddled with madness. Horrified by this concept, she ran away into nature, living in the Blackwald for two whole months. At first, she found living in the dark forest freeing, soothing--but survival on her own proved too difficult to last. Foraging and stealing (when she must) to survive, she finally decided her avoidance was futile: She would become just like her parents.
But returning home, Vellusia found her parents dead. Amelia seemed to have ingested paint in the shed, while Edgar had fallen down the narrow tower steps, his favorite tankard still in his hand. Though she mourned her parents, Vellusia saw their deaths as a mercy to their long suffering. On her last night in her small, tower home, she felt the impression that in some way, her parents had released her. Though, she would always carry the shame of their less-than-glorious deaths.
Packing up what little she had, Vellusia resolved to move to Gilneas-city and leave her troubled home-life far behind. Before departing, she found a false panel in her mother’s narrow closet and discovered an altar. The tiny table was topped with carved boxes, candle stumps and wooden sculptures of dancing figures coated in leaves and vines and thorns. Herb leaves and dried flowers littered the surfaces, alongside small jars of salts and liquids. At the forefront was a dark-silver, crudely wrought necklace: a locket with a five-pointed star across its face. Shocked by this discovery, Vellusia took the strange necklace, but allowed her mother’s secrets to rest.
Attack and Evacutation: Vellusia made her way to Gilneas-city and lived in a tiny hostel with four other women in the shoddy end of town for a mere three months before the Worgen curse tore across the land. Hurrying home after a long shift cleaning tables at the nearby tavern, Vellusia was cornered by a savage, red Worgen with bright yellow eyes. She attempted to reason with him, attempted to defend herself with a nearby plank of wood--but nothing would come between the snarling hunter and his prey.
Quick and violent, and completely devoid of human recognition, the Worgen slammed her against the nearest building and sank his teeth into his shoulder. He probably would have ripped her throat out if a passing nobleman hadn’t fired a shot into the beast’s back. The attacking Worgen whined, released Vellusia, and ran off into the bloody night.
The stretch of time that followed Vellusia’s bite was a blur of horror and delirium. Gilneas had fallen, and with it went Vellusia’s entire world. She doesn’t remember how exactly she survived the early days of her curse, or the evacuation of Gilneas, or the “cure” delivered by the Night Elves. Her transformations were never stable, sometimes overcoming her in her sleep, or in times of extreme stress. In addition to becoming a Worgen, she found herself changing into other animals as well: a large cat, a deer. Even when other afflicted Gilneans grew comfortable with their dual-forms, Vellusia remained lost in a disorienting tempest of animal-takeover.
After fleeing Gilneas, Vellusia befriended a fellow refugee, a Keel-Harbor girl named Collette Worthington. They looked after one another as the pair, and so many others, migrated to Stormwind--but not one day after their arrival, things went terribly wrong. Vellusia, having suffered a post-traumatic nightmare, shifted into her Worgen form and attacked the refugee camp. Awakening in bonds, Vellusia was horrified to hear that she had torn apart three tents before biting Collette’s throat and dragging her down the road. It’d taken four shifted-Worgen to break her from her rampage. The girl, Collette, was lucky to have survived, but she never again spoke to Vellusia--not even to hear her tear-streaked apology.
After that day, Vellusia kept to the shadows, drank more coffee than any human should, and avoided other people as much as possible. Awakening one morning in Elwynn forest beside a hunter’s trap, blood dripping down one shoulder, her long hair severed and laying in ribbons all around her (as she’d apparently torn herself free), she came to the conclusion that if she didn’t find help soon, she would die or worse, kill someone.
It is that realization that drives her to seek the aid of strangers. If the people of Stormwind cannot help her, who can?
Now: Vellusia has begun to make the first real friends she’s had in her life. With their help, she is on a path of recovery. She has, and continues to learn about herself, to grow from each and every experience, and to absorb the wisdom, trust, and acceptance offered to her. With these friendships at the heart of her evolution, Vellusia has already taken ground-breaking strides in the controlling her Worgen form--she refuses to allow herself to harm the people she cares about, and though her troubles are far from over, this has become her strength.
Having recently discovered that her mother had secretly been a harvest-witch before her decline, Vellusia has reclaimed Amelia’s Book of Shadows and seeks to unravel the mysteries within its pages. She hopes that here, she will come to discover the reason for Amelia’s madness, the key to her own shape-shifting complications, and perhaps connect to a magic that runs deeper in her bloodline than she’d ever known.
Vellusia hopes to return the help she’s received from her friends, and someday, to defend Azeroth and make a difference in her world.

((OOC Corner)) My Roleplay Style
Deep RP ...with humor! OOC I’m very easy going and friendly. Though I’m no perfectionist, I prefer immersive RP, and enjoy allowing my character’s interactions with others actively to define how she feels and who she ultimately becomes. My character will remember most interactions, and develop lasting memories and feelings relating to those encounters. I also enjoy “day-to-day” RP as well as “epic” RP.
Although Vellusia has an intense history, she’s also always on the lookout for fun (if the situation allows for it) and hopes to embark on adventures of every kind. She loves a good joke and has been known to contribute some sarcastic and charismatic humor of her own.
OOC is OOC and IC is IC I say this only because I’d like to be super clear that my character is a character, completely independent of my own personality and feelings as a player. If your character throws a drink in Vellusia’s face or embroils themselves in an argument with her, I’m not going to be angry OOC. In fact, as long as everything is logical and true to character, I’ll probably be laughing. If your character flirts with Vellusia, I’m not going to ask you for a phone number. I have my life. Vellusia has hers. That, I believe, is the gist of it. Happy RPing!
