Hmmm... very interesting to me that Taylor Swift is trending rn and yet for some reason no one in that tag is complaining that her trending is taking away from what's going on in Palestine and what's happening in Rafah. And yet for some reason, people couldn't seem to shut up in the Kendrick Lamar tag when he was trending about how the whole beef was just two celebrities beef (it's much deeper than that) and were making up theories abt how the whole thing was taking attention away from Palestine and everyone talking about it should feel ashamed of themselves (every single account I saw in that tag was posting about Palestine too).

And the thing that's really getting me is that Taylor is trending bc of a change to the Eras tour. An objectively unimportant change to make, especially when compared to what's going on in Rafah. But that's not what gets hate, no, it's the predator getting called out in an industry known for exploitation by one of the biggest artists in said industry. The racism isn't even implicit atp...

Edit: ok so just to clarify no this wasn't meant to insinuate that Taylor trending was some setup of Israel (that's just... like objectively wrong lmao), it was to point out that when it comes to a black artist in hip hop (a predominantly non-white genre) people wouldn't let fans of said genre just enjoy the music and shenanigans happening in that genre and that's it's hypocritical to act like people can't care abt two things at once, but they can enjoy their white "feminist icon" pop star (a much whiter genre) without anyone bringing hate into that tag. like i put in the tags, the anti taylor tag is for filtering bc i honestly don't see this post as particularly negative for taylor swift, it's a critique of the fans. and i'm calling out swifties particularly bc the ones who were saying that the beef was manufactured to take eyes off of rafah were swifties, and the ones being racist in the kendrick tag were swifties. i'm not exaggerating like almost every hate post i saw mentioning the beef being manufactured was a swiftie account. it is weird to act like people caring about very serious allegations happening in a genre of music isn't reason enough to make a big deal of the situation and go INTO THE TAG and complain, but it is especially hypocritical and frankly quite infuriating to see the same people who complained about a big deal of a situation being a "distraction" from gaza and then blog abt taylor swift . it's fine if u want to blog abt music u like, honestly idc abt that, if that's all u do then this legit isn't targeted at u, this is targeted at the swifties who came into the kendrick tag to complain and then went back to talking abt swift two seconds later like they weren't doing the same thing they were complaining abt two minutes before. Reading spoilers for servamp chapter 140 from japanese fans on twitter and

Apparently otogiri is johannes' sister? Wild. Guess it makes sense though, they both have the same hair color. Wasn't the guy who negotiated with kuro when C3 kidnapped them his cousin too? Or did I just imagine that. Servamp really is just one huge family conflict, isn't it. Even the servamps and C3 can be seen as being related because they are two different kinds of descendants of the count.

Otogiri's human name might have been gretel? Johannes character is based on heinrich/johann faust(us), a scientist who made a deal with the devil and eventually gets a young woman named gretchen pregnant. The name johann is similar to the name hansel and gretel and gretchen are also similar, so I guess the two are linked to both the fairytale hansel and gretel and to faust by johann wolfgang von goethe.

Apparently we get more about higan's and berukias backstories too.

Also for a reason I don't quite understand yet the 13 places that mikuni's clones are at seem to be the same 13 places that were bombed by tsubaki early on in the story that all had ties to C3, which explains why the clone sakuya met was staying at mahiru's bombed school and I guess that also makes it easier to locate all the clones. Not sure if misono is talking to a clone or the real mikuni, but apparently they get into another chess game with misono playing white and mikuni playing black. After winning against his father and outwitting lily to end the game misono will have to prove that he finally has what it takes to win against his genius older brother in chess too.

OMG that's so awesome, welcome to the twst fandom and congrats on having such fantastic taste in characters and ships lol!! i adore vilidia (obviously, if my whole vilidia tag is any indication) but i haven't posted about them in so long, i hope you don't mind if i use your ask as an excuse to share some silly little headcanons that i don't believe i've posted before:

so i think that when vil was like, 10 or so, his dad tried to encourage his love of potion-making by getting him one of those candy chemistry kits. the ones that come in super cute colorful boxes and teach you how to make things like exploding pop rocks and glow-in-the-dark gummies while explaining the science behind it. (here's a picture of basically the exact thing i'm thinking of.) but vil, poor sweet little vil who'd already let the brutality of the entertainment industry make him believe that he needed to be absolutely perfect, just rolled his eyes and said he was too old for that stuff and that all of that candy wouldn't be good for him anyway. he never once touched the kit, even though part of him probably did really want to.

and i also think that at some point, after he and idia had started dating, idia bought one of those same kits online and just barely mustered up the courage to ask vil if he'd like to join him and ortho in making some of the candy. he claimed the entire thing was ortho's idea, but vil could tell that idia really wanted them to do this together and he decided it'd be okay to indulge his boyfriend just once. as he actually made the candy he realized that although it obviously didn't teach him a single thing he didn't already know, it was still a lot of fun and he wished he hadn't rejected things like that as a kid.

also, speaking of chemistry, there's a voice line in-game where idia implies that he is not good at it. so while i think he and vil would be fascinated by each other's different fields of scientific interest and would love talking about it together i also think that one day idia just very overdramatically goes like: "omg i'm doing soooooo bad in my chemistry classes... if only some super smart and kind and very attractive person would help me out..."

and vil responds by telling idia that he most certainly does not share his younger brother's talent as an actor. but he agrees to help anyway and then they have cute study dates.

idia's habit of starting to excitedly infodump about his interests only to suddenly get embarrassed and stop persists for a while into his relationship with vil but every single time it happens, vil encourages idia to keep going. he often says things like "oh, are you done already? that's a shame, i was so looking forward to hearing more about sora's journey to save kairi". it takes a long time but eventually idia gets to a point where he's so comfortable around vil that he doesn't feel embarrassed anymore.

I'm excited, I think I have my Ashton Graymoore fandragon!

The gold veins unfortunately aren't super prominent when I put his clothes on because the Metals tert makes the outlines more silver-y, but I did get my initial goal which was to most closely match their skin tone and shading to the original character art, since that was the outfit I was going to try to mimic.

I think he's actually meant to be a little bit darker based on the second official portrait, but whatever. FR doesn't have a color/gene combo that comes as close to that tone as it does the super highlighted one in the first character portrait.

Also if I tried to copy his second outfit I'd probably want something to represent their replacement arm, and none of the versions of FR's arm enhancement apparel have the black/orange color scheme that would match.

I also have five of their siblings that didn't have the primary color I wanted for him. Like the dragon I'm keeping, they would need to be re-gened (though all of them are already Earth-element Wildclaws), but I'm willing to take offers for the siblings from anyone who wants a fandragon without having to do a breeding project.
