"Look, look- they have a whole section on rocks! Kinda basic selection but it's still rocks!"

You never thought you'd be able to learn so much about rocks in one day, but it seemed like Venture had made it their personal mission to force as much information into your brain as possible. You didn't mind, really! It was always nice listening to them rant about all the cool stuff they found while walking around the museum you'd planned to bring them to, but it was a lot to take in at once.

"Augh, I love sedimentary rocks- they're my favorite! 'cuz sometimes they have like, little fossils in them and I'm like, "Woah! A cool thing in another cool thing!" and it's awesome! One time I found a trilobite fossil in a rock, it was so cool! I wonder if they have any here- that'd be so amazing! I wonder what they taste like-"

After spilling every single fact they could think of about the rocks on display, Venture drags you to a section of the museum dedicated to Egyptian history, though they mostly just seemed interested in the architecture of the pyramids. You really did try to listen, but you mostly just caught the gist of their long, long, long explanations- something about a Mastaba being like a sort of prototype to pyramids? You were just happy to see them so excited, even if you didn't quite understand what they were so hyped about.

"Oh, if only that British lady could go back to ancient Egypt and get the architects of their time to answer my questions! I'd give anything to be able to do that!" Sensing the slight disappointment creeping up on them, you decide to try and bring Venture elsewhere, not wanting them to spend any energy on being upset by what they can't do.

"Why don't we go look at the dinosaur fossils? I'm sure there's some mistakes in the descriptions that you can correct!" You take their hand, gently pulling them away from the long essay-like description of images of the pyramids that they were reading. Incising them with promises of being able to show off their intensive knowledge of dinosaur fossils, or fossils in general.

Venture perked up almost immediately, following behind you as they ready themselves to go on and on about their favorite dinosaur ever, the Deinocheirus! You tried to ask why it was their favorite ones, and all they said was something about it being "them fr fr" and having rocks in its stomach. You weren't too keen on questioning that one.

They take a large step so they're walking next to you, swinging your arms as you walk, "It's always been one of my biggest goals to find a dinosaur fossil! I really hope I do one day, if I did I could die happy!"

"Please don't die- I would be so sad if you died." You squeeze their hand, voice light as you joke with them.

"Aw but I wanna! I wanna be a fossil for future people like me to discover! When I do die I wanna be buried with a bunch of cool stuff! Maybe mess around with my bones a little, just to throw 'em off!" As you finally reach the fossil exhibits, they abandon you to run off and check over every. single. fossil. which while endearing, gave you a lot of running to do in an attempt to catch up.

"Finally! For once a museum that gets everything right! Well, everything as far as we know-" They stand next to one of the larger fossils, not anything you recognized as you take your place next to them, catching your breath.

"Wow, how impressive-" you wheeze, standing up straight and stretching out your legs as you link arms with Venture, trying to stop them from running off on you again.

They laugh, grabbing you by the shoulder and dragging you in the tightest hug you've ever received.

"Thank you, so, so, so much for planning this. And for listening to me talk about rocks so much, and for caring about me- and a million other things! I can't even remember everything you've done for me, but I know its a lot!" They let you go, still holding you by the shoulders, the biggest smile you've ever seen on a person splayed across their face.

"Of course-! I love spending time with you, you're well aware of that, silly." You laugh, grabbing their wrists and taking their hands off your shoulders, holding their hands as you admire the glow of excitement on their face.

"Welllll since you clearly don't mind, can we go to this other museum I found online next week?! I heard they have an area where you get to watch an hour long video on the story of Julius Caesar!"

I was playing Sky: Children of the Light recently and thought about the Teiko gang + Kagami playing it together

Before I start with my headcanons, I'm sure some of y'all don't know what Sky: Children of the Light is, so I'll explain briefly.

Sky is a social adventure game where you play as a child from the now-desolate Sky Kingdom. Through exploring the seven realms of this kingdom, you restore the light back to the remaining spirits while unraveling the lore of the kingdom and figuring out what happened to it and where all the people went. You can play this game solo if you want to, but it's best played with friends. You can also play with up to eight friends on one server, and the Teiko gang + Kagami is exactly eight people, which works out perfectly! So this post will be me talking about the type of players I think all of them would be on Sky and what type of hijinks I think they'd get into if they decided to play on the same server. The rest will be under the cut. Enjoy!

KUROKO

Very diligent about playing Sky on a regular basis but doesn't play super long sessions unless he's playing with other people. Totally fine with playing by himself since he likes to wander the maps and find quiet secluded places to sit.

But sometimes he also "people watches" in the game and categorizes people based on how they play Sky. Ever since he started people-watching for basketball, it translates into pretty much everything he does, so social video games are no exception.

But when he's taking a break from solitude, he's helping moths (a term of endearment for newbies in Sky) navigate their way through the game and complete quests. There are probably a few he befriends and sees from time to time when he opens Sky, and he kinda feels like a proud parent each and every time he runs into them and sees how much they've leveled up.

Since he's an avid reader I would think he'd be a big fan of worldbuilding and lore and so I think he'd really like exploring the lore of Sky. He follows the official Sky pages on Twitter and YT to keep updated.

In terms of what Kuroko would look like in Sky (since you can customize your Sky kid's outfit and hair), he would dress very simplistically. His fit would almost always be something from the regular accessory constellations. Nothing flashy or out of the ordinary. The only non-default accessory he consistently wears is a pair of sunglasses he got during one season (a season is a period where you can do limited-time themed events and be able to get special cosmetics and emotes). He's pretty frugal in-game, so even though he has a fair number of candles (the in-game currency), he doesn't spend it that much. And the things he spends it on are small accessories and other trinkets.

Somehow, his Misdirection translates into Sky as well because most people really don't notice him, so it's pretty difficult for him to open special doors that require the help of at least two people. That's why he always befriends people who notice him. He knows that they've got his back and he's got theirs.

In Sky, you can also leave messages for other players to read. They usually take the form of paper boats or cranes you can place in any body of water in Sky, and you can write whatever you want on them (within reason of course). So, I can imagine Kuroko would always leave encouraging messages for others like "Don't give up!" and "You can do it!" Those messages always get so much attention, but nobody ever knows who writes them.

KAGAMI

Is almost never on by himself. Most of the time, he's online when Kuroko is online and they do quests together.

Since he's more of an infrequent player, he's often confused about certain aspects of the game and will need Kuroko to help him out.

He likes the game for the pretty scenery and nice music but doesn't really engage with it on a deeper level since he's not super informed about The Lore™. As a result, he's constantly asking Kuroko for explanations as to why certain things in the game are happening.

The rare times he is on by himself he's kind of awkward in navigating the maps and making friends. I would say he's more of a moth than anyone on this list, which means that whenever he's by himself, other players feel more inclined to help him out, which is how he kind of gets adopted by multiple different players. He would log into Sky and check his friend constellations to find that multiple people have gifted him light (you need light to be able to forge hearts which are a more valuable type of in-game currency that buys you more extravagant cosmetics compared to candles).

I would say he often gets sidetracked while doing quests. He'd see somewhere that he hadn't explored and drop everything to go check it out.

The way his Sky kid is dressed is a mixture of regular and seasonal cosmetics that he's managed to snag. He always tries to make himself look cool on Sky, so he cares a little bit more about his appearance because of that.

He is perpetually broke on Sky. Almost always less than 10 candles to his name. So when the time comes for him to buy a cosmetic that he really likes, he's constantly having to hustle last-minute and collect enough light around the kingdom to forge candles.

KISE

Either plays by himself or with the rest of the gang however he much prefers company and is not above pestering the others to come online and play with him.

Also a regular player because the game is cute and fun for him. He probably plays it a lot while he's on break during a modeling session or during lunch breaks at school.

He knows the basic lore of Sky but doesn't go any further. He's not one to create theories like that because he also kinda takes it at face value.

He's the type to unlock all the nodes in his friends' constellations so he can do cute things with them (unlocking friendship nodes means you can initiate gestures with friends like high-fives, hugs, piggyback rides, and more).

Because he's so used to being followed and chased by fangirls due to his modeling career, he likes the anonymity of Sky because it gives him the freedom to approach and chat with other players as an equal.

He is the flashiest Sky kid out of everyone. If he's not grinding to get all the seasonal cosmetics, he's using real money to splurge on some of the cosmetics you can't buy with in-game currency. The others sometimes are embarrassed by how much he sticks out, but Kise never lets that deter him from being the most fashionable person on the server.

He also likes leaving messages in paper boats, but they're usually generic messages like a "hi!" with a bunch of emojis. Anyone in the gang who finds his messages will screenshot them and send them to Kise via text to let him know that his messages have been spotted.

MIDORIMA

He plays this game on and off, but when he's on, he's on.

He usually plays with other people since he's more likely to play if there's a group session, but it's not uncommon to catch him doing quests by himself or simply just exploring parts of the map he's never been to before.

He strikes me as someone who'd be super deep into Sky lore and making his own theories. But his tsundere ass would pretend like he's not into it and swears that he only got this game because Kise and Momoi begged him to, even though there are too many occasions of other people in the gang asking if he wants to join them to do daily quests and Midorima responding that he's already done them, and everyone wises up that he likes the game far more than he lets on, but they don't call him out on it.

He only bothers playing with actual friends. He doesn't really interact with other strangers on the server. So, if he's on Sky by himself, he's truly just doing everything alone. Any nodes unlocked in his friendship constellation are unlocked by other people in the gang. He'd rather die than use his candles to unlock a hug emote with any of his friends.

Since there's a set limit to how many candles you can forge per day (there's a limited amount of light you can collect across the seven realms to forge candles and it refreshes daily), he takes note of where the biggest/most candles are and remembers that if he needs to forge a bunch of candles in a hurry but doesn't have time to collect every single fragment of light across all the realms.

In terms of what Midorima's Sky kid would look like, he'd be dressed very smartly. No matter what outfit he has on, he always seems to look like a scholar of some sort. Even his hair is well put together. He's not one to shy away from seasonal cosmetics, but they're not the over-the-top outfits like Kise would have on. He dresses a lot more modestly like Kuroko but not in that "default setting" sort of way.

He sometimes hoards spells (in Sky, you can purchase/be given spells that can allow you to give your Sky kid temporary boosts or powers like recharging your wings faster, making you taller or shorter, or even giving you a different outfit. These spells can also be shared with friends if you hold their hand while activating them.) He sometimes uses the outfit spells as a test run to see if something looks nice on him. And if it does, he'll save up enough candles to buy the real thing.

AOMINE

Very infrequent player. He'll log on once to wreak havoc all day before disappearing for weeks at a time.

He never plays unless someone else in the gang is also online. Especially if it's Kuroko.

Doesn't give a fuck about the lore at all and because he plays so infrequently he never has any idea what goes on.

He also doesn't have that much winged light (the more winged light you collect the more energy you have to fly) but somehow he manages to explore just as well as everyone else in the gang. It's kind of impressive.

He has no problem charging into the more dangerous areas of Sky. In fact, it would be better to say he likes to get himself into danger on purpose for that sweet, sweet adrenaline rush.

In terms of what his Sky kid looks like, I would say he also has very default accessories like Kuroko, not because he prefers them but because he's so infrequently online that he never earns enough seasonal candles to buy specially-themed accessories. However, trust and believe he will still make do with what he has. He seems like the type of person to prefer all the goofiest-looking cosmetics like beards and bushy eyebrows. It almost annoys the others how unserious his Sky kid looks at all times, but he never pays them any attention.

Sometimes when he's bored he'll try and exploit glitches in the game to see what they do or to try and get into an inaccessible area of the map.

MOMOI

Another frequent player. She loves this game DOWN. After school, she likes to get cozy in her room and hop online.

She enjoys playing both by herself and with the rest of the gang, she's not biased toward one or the other.

She really enjoys the lore of Sky and does things like analyze the appearance of each realm so she can make theories. I bet she has a notebook where she keeps track of all the lore and her interpretations of it. She exchanges theories with Kuroko a lot. Also Midorima, too, but he'll pretend like he's not interested in it.

She mainly likes to play with the rest of the gang but she's not opposed to making friends with a couple strangers on the server here and there. Sometimes if nobody from the gang is online, she'll do daily quests with these other players and sometimes add them to her friendship constellation.

You will never catch her broke on Sky. She does regular candle runs to replenish her earnings (going on a candle run means you travel through all the realms and collect all the available light so you can forge it into candles. You can typically earn about 20 candles in a day if you do a full candle run). She is probably the most consistent with gifting friends light and hearts, too. She's also the best person to ask about upcoming seasons and other Sky-related info since she follows the developers and the official Sky page on YouTube and Twitter.

Her Sky kid is the prettiest out of everyone's. Since she's such a frequent player, she has a bunch of seasonal cosmetics that she loves to alternate between. Every time the others see her, she's in a new outfit. She's just constantly decked out to the nines. She and Kise sometimes coordinate their outfits.

She has accumulated a lot of placeable props in her inventory (placeable props are decorative or functional items you can place on the ground in Sky. They could be anything from a cushion to a swing set.) She also loves to make shared spaces (shared spaces are little shrine areas that you can create and decorate as your space using props you have acquired. These spaces can also be accessed by other players). Her shared spaces are always cute and well-decorated. She likes to create them in secluded areas of the map so she and the rest of the gang can just hang out in those spaces together away from everyone else.

MURASAKIBARA

Not a super frequent player but more active than people expect. I peg him as a fan of cozy games.

Most times he prefers to play with other people, but sometimes he will have days where he'll just go off by himself and get up to God knows what.

He loosely follows the lore but doesn't really care about theories the way some of the others do. He doesn't really play Sky to think too hard about anything. He mainly just plays it to take his mind off other things.

Candle runs are so much work so sometimes he waits for others in the gang to come online before doing them for the sole purpose of holding onto their hands in-game and letting them do all the work on his behalf.

He loves accepting gifts of light and hearts but almost always forgets to return the favor. Kise complains about it the most.

His Sky kid is surprisingly well put together. When choosing hairstyles, he'll always go for the longer-haired ones out of habit. He sometimes likes wearing the pigtail hairstyles, too. In terms of cuteness, his Sky kid is second only to Momoi's. You will never catch him lacking when it comes to outfits.

He likes to antagonize Kagami when Kagami shows ignorance in something related to Sky. A simple "Huh? You didn't know even this much?" would be enough to send Kagami spiraling for ages. It's a very hilarious sight to see walls of text above the head of Kagami's Sky kid as he argues with Murasakibara through the in-game chat function.

AKASHI

Another unexpectedly frequent player. It's a refreshing change of pace from his busy life.

He has fun playing solo and playing with friends, and it astounds the others what he can get up to when left to play alone. He could probably tackle some of the more dangerous realms singlehandedly.

He is another person big on lore and exchanges theories with the other lore fans of the squad, focusing on even the most minute details of the map and the characters to make inferences. Sometimes he'll think of theories that the others hadn't even remotely considered. He also follows the official Sky page for updates, too and will (along with Momoi) be one of the first to know about new Sky-related info.

He has the best control of his Sky kid while flying out of everyone. He's just really good at maneuvering tight spaces or windy currents. Also really good at diving. The others never have to worry about him if they're traveling around the map. It's actually them who have to keep up with Akashi.

He's not one to officially befriend a lot of other players per se, but he does use the common areas scattered across the map to talk to people sometimes. He enjoys the idea of being able to approach whoever without worrying about people being intimidated by him. Being able to just be treated as a regular person feels nice.

His Sky kid is always dressed so stylishly. Not too flashy like Kise but not too proper like Midorima. Akashi lets himself get creative with the outfit coordination. He especially loves the different masks you can wear and loves collecting those the most.

You can also have instruments in Sky that are actually playable, so during group gaming sessions, he likes to sit down and play songs for the squad. You can either go buy the sheet music you can unlock through constellations or you can just play whatever random notes you like. Either way, Akashi finds a way to entertain his friends.

HOW WOULD THEY ALL PLAY TOGETHER AS A GROUP?

First of all, Akamomo as the canonical activity planners of their friend circle would be the ones to reach out to everyone for availabilities so they could arrange a group gaming session.

Most of the time they do full group sessions during new seasons where maybe new parts of the map are unlocked and they all get to discover it together.

Aomine is usually the one who puts everyone else's safety at risk in the more dangerous realms. There are a few realms with dark dragons that knock winged light out of players if they spot you, and Aomine sometimes deliberately provokes them. Most of the time he isn't able to dodge, which leaves everyone else to grab his winged light for him after he gets knocked out.

Sometimes Murasakibara disappears mid-game to go grab snacks so you'll see his Sky kid just snoozing while he's inactive.

Kuroko, Momoi, Akashi, and Midorima have fixations on cave paintings in Sky and will sometimes spend several minutes going back and forth on theories and interpretations of lore.

On occasion, after all of their daily quests are done, they like to find secluded parts of the map to just chill and talk. They like utilizing Momoi's shared spaces for that specific purpose.

Sometimes Kise manages to convince everyone to coordinate their outfits,

Kagami constantly has to be saved by the Teiko gang members when he runs out of energy to fly, and it humiliates him to no end. Especially if Aomine ends up saving him because he hates owing Aomine favors.

Kuroko loves using the high-five emote a lot, especially with Kagami and Aomine.

Kise refuses to go into scary parts of the map unless someone holds his hand in-game.

Aomine will sometimes break off from the group and come back holding a crab that he picked up from who knows where.

Akashi is the one who scopes out an area for potential danger first before letting the others start wandering around. If he feels like somebody in the group is about to be in danger, he'll start calling out to them to come back.

Midorima is constantly shepherding the others whenever they get distracted from doing their daily tasks. He will always make his annoyance known whenever the rest of the group is not doing what he thinks they should be doing. He sometimes enlists Momoi for help.

All in all, they're chaotic as fuck when they play altogether, but they admit that it makes everything all the more fun.

Oooh trans Arthur lover here. Any and all info I’ll take. I adore how you portray and Alasdair and his reaction (or lack there of) does Arthur have much support elsewhere. I’ve always though as Arthur as this kinda pale lanky being no matter what’s in his trousers and thus able to pass very well.

sorry pal! I was away but I'm home and delighted to come back to this ask.

My Arthur headcanons all depend on the AU I'm thinking about but i do feel like there is a general baseline so I'll answer based on that/ give a take on something approximating canon (or the canon that lives in my head rent free).

Like you say, Arthur is probably able to 'pass' from a young age playing on the biases of the people around him. He unassuming, lanky, fails to execute idealised masculinity in a way that makes him stick out as historically queer but not necessarily trans. (I wrote a bit more about my thoughts on Arthur, vanity, and historical masculinities here.

I think that growing so isolated, Arthur was in for a harrowing realisation when he (still very young) comes to live amongst settled humans and discovers that gender and sex matter to them in a way that it never mattered to Scot/Wales/Ireland (other nations coming across him would not have been able to tell, would never have gotten close enough. In my headcanon not even Francis knows, necessarily, for a good while. This is both a blessing and a curse). I think this makes Arthur zealous, isolates him further, and makes him defensive to the point of cruelty in the long run. He knows what people are capable of and going stealth is a defence mechanism at first, and later on just a commonality. This robs him of support and community, however necessary, and robs him of broader, more fluid perspectives on gender. I do mean it when I think that Arthur's greatest tragedy is of his own doing. In this case there are obviously a lot of other things in play-- his physical safety and the parameters of his social and economic conditions throughout history, his personal relationships and what others expect of him, etc.-- but there comes a point where the people and nations who love him would welcome him and he just won't have it. I think it leaves him angry and aching and with a skewed perception of intimacy.

I think he starts dabbling with cross dressing to explore aspects of femininity he admires but doesn't truly lean into it into the late nineteenth to early twentieth century. I had a couple of scenes in my drafts of a '5+1 times Arthur wears a dress (starting from the early middle ages to the present)' exploring this desire to explore gender as a trans guy but life happened and sadly I never got around to finishing it. My main takeaways from writing it though were his innermost thoughts about gender and beauty. This is also where a lot of my Alasdair-reacting-to-Arthur headcanons began to take shape. I think the Isles grew up relatively isolated and wrapped up in each other, in a lot of ways, which definitely affected Alasdair as well. He has never questioned his gender himself, or Sean's, and Wales', and so it never occurs to him to question Arthur's; it is just who he is. The only person he might question gender around if probably Francis (which is funny to me, and a little endearing. I think of Francis finally putting two and two together and figuring that Arthur is trans a lot, and the scenario usually involves Alasdair's fat mouth and his clumsy musings about gender).

Sean is similar to him in this sense, albeit probably a little more inquisitive about gender and sex and all things human (inquisitive but unwilling to chase down Arthur to clear any questions he may have; Sean's experience with transness comes from experiencing other people, and then turning to look at Arthur with a realisation of 'ah, I see you in others, and see them in you too. I understand you a little better now, and it makes it even more difficult to hate you.')

Wales has always been sympathetic and probably would have been the first to try and address gender around Arthur... only to get immediately shot down. I think that he is also he only person who truly knows the things that Arthur saw and experienced that so harshly made him into the man he is, and so despite how much he wants to talk about it, help Arthur, be the safe space he needs in the world, he understands he needs to let it happen on Arthur's terms.

Francis pushes where Wales doesn't, and insists on Arthur's wellbeing and talking things out in a way that a lot of the time ends up pushing Arthur further away too. It would never be Arthur's first choice to run to Francis, even if he might do it subconsciously. As the most gender-literate of the whole bunch, Francis would probably also get frustrated, which would make matters a million times worse. If anyone could cut Arthur deep it would be Francis, and it probably has been. Theirs is a complicated relationship despite Francis' best intentions.

I think that Arthur turns to Alasdair for all of these reasons. It's his gruff acceptance, the wordless kind of understanding he offers, and the fact that he lets Arthur decide for himself. Unlike Francis he isn't offering him words to describe what he is; he is just a constant presence by his side. It isn't all roses, I do think that Arthur needs the questioning and the pushback he gets from others to an extent, and Alasdair can be blunt and crude and insensitive. Part of Arthur might resent how at ease Alasdair is with his own body and the fact that he has never had to question his gendered role in the world (this assessment is also unfair, and Arthur knows that, but he wouldn't be able to help it. Envy isn't rational). Even with all that, Alasdair is a shield, a sword, and a castle wall. They all would be, if Arthur let them.

I think this is really sweet. it's like finding an anonymous love letter in your locker at school, I don't think it's weird don't worry, but maybe I'm the weird one. I have also had this behavior in the past. I think both platonic and romantic obsession can be really endearing. The thought that people actually remember me when I walk by or think of me when I say something online, it is so foreign to me. People I may never talk to or see again. My brain can't really comprehend it. I think there are so many people in this world I could be friends with that I will never know exist.

Ooh, thanks for asking! THOUGHTS ABOUT THE MORE MINOR BERSERK CHARACTERS:

BAND OF THE FALCON/HAWK: So the members that made the biggest impression on me aside from Guts/Casca/Griffith, in order of how much I liked them, were:

1. JUDEAU: he was probably my next most favourite member of the Band. I thought he was pretty kind and emotionally intelligent - I liked his loyal/thoughtful/peaceful mediator vibe, and I always wanted to hear what he had to say about everybody else. I'm still not ok about what happens to him in the end, it was one of the most emotionally upsetting parts of The Eclipse to me for sure...

2. RICKERT: He started standing out to me way more post-Eclipse as a character when he starts having to make more decisions on his own. I love the ways he's dealing with his grief and I was very proud of him whenever he stood up to Griffith, hahaha. I'm really interested in seeing what part he's going to play in the finale of the story, too...

3. PIPPIN: the only scene I can really remember about Pippin now is when he literally picks up Guts and drags him down to force him to hang out with everybody else, which was great. Hahaha I liked him, but I don't remember a whole lot else about him other than that? I think that he was pretty quiet most of the time.

4. CORKUS: He's probably the one you're kinda supposed to not like as much as the others in the group, as he's pretty abrasive at times. He added some spice to things for sure, and I could see why he might feel negatively about Guts, and some of the stuff he says made for interesting contrasts to the positivity/comradery going on otherwise. I didn't feel a ton of love for him at any point, but also I don't think he deserved what he ended up getting in the end either, of course...

BLACK SWORDSMAN PARTY:

1. PUCK: I'm attached to him quite a bit simply because of how much he was with us in the beginning / during the parts where Guts was wandering around all surly and angry and alone. I think he sort of gets reduced to only comic relief a bit much in the later parts of the story, but he definitely kept me going through some of the darker and more nihilistic parts with his cuteness and kindness and the way he always pointed out the stuff that was at times bugging or concerning me about Guts, hahah. Also, I love whatever weird thing he has going on with the Behelit, hahaha. It's like his little pet... feeding it cheese...

2. SCHIERKE: OK so I was kind of like OHHHNOOO at first about the kid characters permanently joining Guts traveling party, because I didn't really want the story to start attempting to pander to kids a bunch when it's so clearly adult in subject matter and themes and tone much of the time. But Schierke definitely grew on me more over time, especially in the scenes where she's interacting with Guts alone - I think her witch powers are pretty impressive, her quiet/nervous personality is usually cute, and her crush on Guts is endearing as well, haha - the way she's self-aware that it's because "he's an adult who paid attention to me, and I liked it" reminds me of the kind of things I would've been saying at that age myself. I was always trying to be serious and sensible and cautious and adult all the time as a kid about such stuff, too...

3. FARNESE: She had some of the most dramatic and interesting character development of any of the characters in the entire series, I would say. Thinking about who she was when we first met her versus who she ends up becoming later on is pretty impressive. I especially like how hard she works at humbling herself, learning new things and opening herself up to new people and new ways of thinking and being, even though she also feels completely useless and incompetent at it much of the time.

4. SERPICO: I feel almost like I'd have to reread the story to really get a handle on this character better, because he often slipped into the background for me? I think his fights with Guts were pretty interesting, but otherwise he just didn't really resonate that strongly with me or stand out to me that much, and I never felt that attached to him at any point tbh

5. IVALERA: sassy and cute, but I don't have that much else to say about her

6. ISIDRO: My least favourite of the bunch, because he often actively irritates me whenever he's on the page, and the comic relief he's supposed to provide never really hits the mark for me. I feel like he just throws off the tone of the story a lot with all the loudmouthed insecure spunkiness, like he's out of place and was meant to exist in a Shonen series like Naruto or something else instead, haha. IDK... maybe I'd warm up to him more and see why he's necessary to include more upon a second read...

OTHER NOTABLES: 1. SKULL KNIGHT: I love him a lot, haha. He's got such an oddly chill and polite vibe for what a dramatic and scary-looking presence he has. He definitely can feel very plot-devicey as a character at times, but it doesn't mean I'm not always glad to see him whenever he shows up, and I think his personal history with the Berserker Armour is pretty interesting as well

2. NOSFERATU ZODD: I like him quite a bit too... definitely the most chill of the monsters to me, haha. Chill is almost always a plus to me, especially when the character is otherwise a bit larger than life

3. LUCA: I liked her! One of the more palatable characters in that arc. Was glad she was watching out for Casca like she was...

4. CHARLOTTE: I worry about her, but I feel for her too! The fanart she kept making of Griffith made me lol tbh.. I hope nothing too bad happens to her now that she's actually hitched to him...

like for example: “aw bro, splinter totally just grounded me for a week straight!” it’d be used in the context that i could replace it with “man”, “dude”, or even just the name of the person they’re talking to just as like, filler words. idk if that makes sense but yeah! that’s how i usually work that word into conversation in fic.

another way to kind of make it feel natural, especially for the turtles imo is in more casual conversation play around with it? like “broski” is something i use irl when i text my siblings:)

sis.. i gotta say i don’t think i ever really use that word in real life. it’s just never comes natural to me, and again i think because the word “bro” is so universally used, it just sounds “less cringe” to me whereas i think if i walked up to my sister and said “morning sis!” she would probably look at me like i’d grown an extra head over night :’)

Soooo, I've been watching a lot of God of War Ragnarök gameplay, and now I've got Vikings on the brain. Especially Thor from the game, the way he's built has me kicking my feet lol. Anyways I think that maybe the reader was a part of a small village that wasn't worth all that much, and they get taken as a prize by the Vikings, maybe for use as labor, etc. One of the raiders decides to present them to their leader because he's got the best pick out of all the loot. So he decides that he's going to take them as his spouse. Of course, as a Viking, you're on the move for a portion of the year, so he goes and stashes his darling in another village, and threatens them into taking care of the darling for him. Because they're doing this out of fear, they're doing the bare minimum, so the reader is working themselves to death trying to do all the household chores, with hardly any help because the villagers resent them. They had hardly gotten a glimpse of their new "husband" before he had to leave, but based on rumors, they hear that he's a terrifying warrior, a hard, ruthless man, and the reader is very afraid because someone who sounds like that doesn't seem like they would be lenient about having an unclean house, or a disobedient partner. Eventually, after several months of him being away at sea, he comes back. And based on appearance alone, he's everything that the reader thought that he would be. But I think it would be kinda endearing if the reader hears off in the distance, their husband calling for hot water for him to bathe because he doesn't want to greet his new partner with the dirt and filth of his profession, and his clean clothes make him look almost tame. I'm imagining it's winter, and when he gets inside he notices that there's no firewood, and when he asks the reader why, they shakily admit that they haven't had the time, between keeping the house clean and cooking for themselves, and the townspeople were always so busy. And the viking is livid at that because not only did he threaten them he paid them money for their silence. He's quietly plotting his revenge, because hard labor is not the life for *his* spouse of all people. He's an older man, journeying like this has taken a toll on him and he just wants to settle down.

Random bulletpoints that I just wanna talk about:

When he comes home to the reader, he's inwardly nervous because he's been practicing saying their name because they come from different lands.

The reader gets a little drunk off of some wine he brought from his travels, and he delights in how giggly it makes them, in contrast to the apprehension from when he first arrived.

He's just big, everywhere. I mentioned Thor earlier, go look at him and tell me that I'm wrong XD.

I also think it'd be funny if he constantly jokes about how old he is.

Oh my goodness I love this so much! I have only seen snippets of God of War but I totally agree! Also, I love watching gameplay more than actually playing hehe.

Yes! My favourite trope for fiction is 'war prize', it scratches this itch in my brain just right. Especially when the reader isn't anyone special. Their not royal, not nobel, or they don't even have valuable skills, the Viking just saw them once and went, 'i want that pathetic looking one' (affectionately).

Poor reader! having to take care of a massive household by themselves. Quick question! Since the Viking wants to take them as their spouse, was there a ceremony? Or does the reader have no idea they are meant to be married to the Viking, or does the reader know they're meant to be married but technically they aren't yet, which would be the saddest for the reader cause 'legally' they could leave but the rumours they hear of this ruthless and bloodthirsty man (as you said) force the reader to stay and play spouse.

I like that you said the villagers resent the reader, cause they were threatened by this giant, vicious Viking. None of the villagers wants to talk to the reader, or even help them, so the poor reader is so lonely :(

I also love that reader didn't get to really meet or know their new husband! They are so terrified of him returning that they clean stress every day.

I love love love the fact he wants to be clean for the reader. Like you said he wants to be seen as less terrifying (which is hard) for his new spouse. Ohhh! When he asks them for the firewood, reader would be so scared and kicking themselves for not having the time. But he is so polite! and kind! and while he does seem to be really really mad it is directed at the village so the reader can take a moment to calm themselves.

I am such a sucker for the whole bloodthirsty warrior settling down trope with a pretty spouse. Like yes, go be a domestic man!!!!!! It's so good.

AAAAAAAAA! Those dot points???? I love them to death! The one about practising their name is sooooo cute, especially when you remember that they didn't really meet so either the reader only said it once and he's been obsessed with it since then or he had to ask the slaves they captured from the reader's village for their name. either way, I'm obsessed!

Reader all giggly???? and him just sitting there in awe at how lovely they look, red-faced and with a dopey smile. He would love how different they acted around him, now longer walking on eggshells but they are finally acting themselves. He nearly passes out when the reader jokingly sits on his lap and kisses his cheek, and the reader complains about his dagger sheath digging into them.

SZA says it right by saying I need a big boy. He is so big that reader, even though they might have been quite big or tall themselves, still has to crane their head up to try and make eye contact, and when they are kneading dough and he comes up behind them to close them in and they feel so small against him. You already know my mind is rushing towards the gutter but I'll leave those thoughts for now unless you want them then please just ask and you will receive ;)

Hehe yeah, he keeps making all these jokes about being old and it stresses the reader out cause he acts like he's on death's door.

Heya, can I get a Creepypasta matchup?

My name's Altair/Al, I'm 19, Bisexual and go by they/them but he/him or she/her works too! I'm 5'7, with black, really choppy (as in kitchen scissors at 3am type choppy) short hair and dark brown (almost black) eyes. My fashion sense is all over the place tbh, but i usually wear the same 3 oversized black band tees all the time along with baggy jeans (that are somehow still too long even when i wear them with 4 inch platforms) and a bunch of random accessories (i fidget with them alot when i'm anxious). 100% an introvert, but I can warm up to people pretty quickly though. Not sure if I think alot before i act lol, i kinda just do whatever comes to mind (and may or may not regret it later), I kinda just laugh at any bad situations that comes my way (and panic about them internally). I draw in my free time, also tried to play the guitar at some point, and spent way too many hours googling random facts on the internet (usually about animals and human biology). My favorite genres of music are emo, 80s rock and some metal, but im always down for any other genres aswell. I also have a very... questionable, sleep schedule, I either sleep at 8pm and wake up at 4am, or sleep at 4am and wake up at 1pm. I also have 2 cats (Lizard and Tangerine) and a dog (Shortie). Not really the most physically affectionate person but my friends told me i give nice hugs lol.

She doesn't sleep... only passing out when she gets way too tired, so she'll stay awake with you the moment you say you cant sleep

She's never had pets so she's a bit nervous that your cats wont like her and tries to stay away from them

DATING

During dating Zero is much kinder, she's still got a bit of Alice in her even after taking over so she has the fear that it's all some joke to be played on her

Constant gifts, you'll find new boots and accessories all the time from her just giving them to you

Although she can't tell the difference between light pink and a light grey so heads up

If she sees you with one of the gifts she gets ecstatic, a ton of compliments and attention

The thought that you actually like her enough to wear the things she gets for you makes her knees weak

She's only had one person really care for her like you do so she's even more protective now

Yes, ditto on Fushi's smile being endearing! I love seeing it... but also kinda hate it for being such a bitch to replicate on a doll (though that's because I'm an untalented unskilled dollmaker. If I get to dream of Fushi smiling at me, it'll be serotonin supply for a month!!!

I think it says a lot about me that even in my dreams, I'm always reading about characters instead of I don't know, interacting with them. I know sometimes people have dreams where they interact with their favorite characters but I do not. Hopefully you do get to have a dream with Fushi in it!

I've seen the tundra theory around a lot, too. It's growing on me, I think at the very least Fushi and the others should go check it out. What would be cool is if they went around to all the places they used to live, searching for the sphere. But I have my reservations, because it looks like the only habitable spaces on earth right now are the trees, so I don't know if it's possible... from what Fushi said in Chapter 173.2, their old residency in Minamoto is underground. Even if they can visit the tundra, it probably won't be recognizable, especially after all this time.

Currently, my bet is that the doll is the sphere. I haven't found any actual evidence, but it kind of makes sense if you work backwards.

Let's say that the doll is the sphere. Then, her descent from Kaibara has an explanation. 32 found her, hid her from Kaibara, disguised her as a popular toy, and threw her down the trash chute to keep her away from them/to deliver her to Fushi, who checks all the trash once it reaches the no-star area. In this scenario—and even if the doll turns out to not be the sphere after all—32 has had some communication with Fushi. In order to be on the immortals' side (which she is regardless, because she sent the doll to give them a message), she would need to know the truth about them and sympathize with them. She would also need to know about Fushi's no-star village.

In addition, we know that Fushi's been keeping tabs on her and Mizuha's other clones without telling anyone, and it's been implied that they know something about the doll's origins that she doesn't (by "implied," I mean, like... they're always giving her these meaningful looks and not saying shit). So if this is true, it seems pretty likely that they know and are leading everyone on a wild goose chase/lying to their friends for a yet unknown reason. Maybe they even gave 32 the sphere themselves. Would also explain why we're following the plot from a new character's perspective instead of our protagonist, because if we were seeing Fushi's thoughts we would know what was going on right away.

This raises a lot of new questions, like: why doesn't Fushi want the doll to know that she's the sphere? Is there some sort of downside to her gaining the power to grant any wish? Yeah typing that out it suddenly seems self-evident. Fushi chose to not take the sphere's powers so that they could keep living as a human; to give the doll the means to grant her wish would simultaneously prevent her from ever fulfilling it.

The doll was asleep for about eight years, so if this theory is true, it's not really weird that Kaibara is searching underground for the sphere. If they couldn't find her on the surface, they would assume 32 buried her somewhere, or they might not know that 32 was hiding her at all (but they probably did and they probably killed her. Don't have any reasoning for that though it's just vibes).

It also makes sense from a storytelling perspective, to have the sphere end up being right beside the immortals all along. And the doll wants to find it so that it can make her human, but her being the sphere would mean she's had that capability this whole time. I hope this was helpful! There's a lot we don't know, and as we get more hints about what happened with 32, the doll, the sphere, and Fushi (which are definitely all connected somehow), I'll keep revising this.

Any thoughts on Keefe and Wylie’s relationship¿

I feel like there’s a lot to explore there, especially when it comes to the age gap / levels of maturity that type of stuff

oo that's a good one--I haven't thought about the two of them in a while! Off the top of my head I honestly can't remember a moment where Keefe and Wylie interacted with each other aside from existing in the same room, so I'll mostly being talking in hypotheticals. (if there is one I've forgotten you can let me know and I'd be happy to look back through it!)

There's just so much to look at when it comes to Wylie in general because hes like...the most individual/unique character, if that makes sense. He stands out because of his age and experiences that no one else has had. he's the loner sophie was in book one human world. Sophie has her whole crew of friends and people close to her now, then there's all the adults who are friendly with and relate to one another, but Wylie's just kind of there. he's not friends with them per se, but he's there. In that weird age where he's more mature and has more knowledge than all of Sophie's friends, but he's still considered to be one of them because he's not centuries old like literally every other adult we know (that being said, can we get like an 80 year old adult, someone who's just vibing and more in tune with The Youths)

Keefe has become more and more like that recently, feeling separated from his friends and the people he cares about because of what his mother did to him, so he's started to exist outside of the group as well, at the very least in his own mind.

My mind keeps circling back to how explosively Wylie reacted to Sophie when they met in the wanderling woods. he didn't even think it through--there was just this one last hope he'd been clinging to that would bring his dad back and he couldn't see anything outside of it. Just that one thing was supposed to fix everything and he couldn't process the failure or the idea that there were more ways. Same as how Keefe treated his new ability. He gave up so easily, taking every failure are proof he could never be "fixed" and that he needed to run away. he wasn't able to understand that there were other ways to see the situations, to take their missteps in stride and learn from them, cool down and come back to it composed.

But aside from that, Wylie has grown up with positive role models and people in his life to support him and genuinely care about him. He's learned to positively respect authority (likely with a healthy grain of salt seeing as he was raised by Tiergan), which Keefe never got. Keefe only knows how to disobey, to make problems. he's never had to motivation or desire to succeed, and now he flaunts authority almost uncontrollably. Wylie took time to heal from his kidnapping and torture, he took time away for himself and to collect himself. he made his voice heard and told Sophie what he wanted, and then he backed away so he could return even better. and it worked! he's doing a lot better now. Keefe, on the other hand, was demanding to get back to work mere hours after he'd had his abdomen literally sliced open. he doesn't know how to take care of himself.

it just feels like Wylie can navigate the world, and Keefe is running blindfolded headfirst in any direction he feels like.

i don't think Wylie would pity Keefe were they to interact, but I think he'd be off-put and concerned. Like "what's with this sassy...lost child?" he might see the kind of person he could've become had Tiergan not been there for him. I don't think Wylie is a necessarily nurturing person, but he's protective. he might want to protect Keefe and just be like "you doing alright?" and try and set him back on a path to being okay and taking time to take care of himself.

Daydreamer Jun x Mindreader Wonwoo

Jun daydreaming: *thinking about the foods he'd like to cook when he gets home from work*

Wonwoo daydream/popping a.k.a reading Jun's mind again while he's daydreaming: 'I don't really know what those dishes are but they sound delicious. I really hope I could taste his cooking one day.'

They are seated at their respective desks with just four seats separating them. Wonwoo could just lean back and steal glances from the other man.

And yeah, Jun has caught him stealing glances a couple too many times, but Jun just thinks that Wonwoo's dozing off like him sometimes, so he just politely smiles at him whenever it happens. [And of course, Wonwoo blushes but doesn't want to admit it.]

Wonwoo didn't really intend to read Jun's mind or any other people for that matter even if he has that innate ability, it was just that he was bored one time at the office and caught Junhui daydreaming. It was a wild ride at first because Jun's mind go from one thought to another rather quickly giving Wonwoo slightly a hard time catching up, but then Wonwoo was also endeared with the kind of thoughts Junhui has. Most of them include Jun's cooking which made him crave foods he didn't even know existed, the daily CAT TIME that Wonwoo likes to call when Jun just thinks of his cats, and other cat stuff like cat stuffed toys, cat cafe, cat pillows, cat ears and things related to cats. And many other things, some absurd but cute that he'd rather hear than any other depressing adult things. [Yeah like bills, responsibilities, inflation, politics, and other stuff.]

So when Jun drifts off to daydream land again, Wonwoo always follows.

Jun is trying to work but drifts off to his imagination again: *Yeaaaaahh I'll cook those after work and then... Oh, I'll be alone at home again.*

Wonwoo read that thought and got sad. He then thinks to himself, immediately ending his daydream-popping on Jun. A few seconds more, he's really considering approaching Jun to try to make small talks that he thinks would eventually lead him to ask him out tonight. He was so into his own thoughts that he didn't notice the change in his surroundings. He was also trying to practice what he'd ask Jun that he blurted his thoughts out. [Shaaaame.]

"Should I ask him out?"

"Who?"

"Jun?!"

"Me?"

"No—"

"But you just said—"

"No, yeah I meant you-huh?"

Wonwoo's still trying to process his thoughts before, during, and after those exchanges. Well, that's what he usually gets whenever he reads the minds of other people. It gets kinda hard forming his own.

The element of surprise also didn't do him any well shocking him when the person that he's been mind-reading just mere seconds ago and had been wanting to approach was suddenly in front of him. [And heard his supposed inner monologue. Ooff.]

"Relax there Wons, I was just messing with you,"

Jun teases with a wink that further incapacitated Wonwoo from forming a thought.

He's really so jumpy, giggly, and feeling mushy whenever Jun's near 🤭🤭

"Oh, ha hahaha,"

Wonwoo's efforts to regain composure is proved useless but still appreciated,

"So, what's up?"

Wonwoo's still sitting down on his office swivel chair while Jun was standing in front of him. He missed his queue to stand up and now he's good to break his neck looking slightly up trying to eye level with Jun. But in some weird ways, It looks like Jun is trying to avoid eye contact with him. Huh.

"I was just wondering if you have any plans tonight? I was thinking of making dinner and usually, I'd rather eat alone but I was thinking of inviting-"

"Yeah! Sure!"

There was an attempt on Wonwoo's side to contain his excitement but to no avail. And that's okay 😉😉

Jun just giggled and nodded with the same enthusiasm as Wonwoo's swift answer.

"Okay great! I'll just ask the other guys too. See yah!"

And Jun was off somewhere, maybe ask the other guys too, even before Wonwoo was able to process what happened.

And here comes Wonwoo's inner monologue; the mind-reader kind of daydreaming:

While the mindreader is somewhat drowning in his thoughts, he failed to catch on to Jun's which goes something like this;

And Jun started imagining just the worst-case scenarios possible.

First, that other guys would agree to have dinner at his place tonight and he'll be tired of preparing for who knows how long and for how many people;

Second, he wouldn't ask any other people and when he and Wonwoo are alone in his place he'd be forced to lie about the "others" having other plans or whatnot;

Third, he'll come clean to Wonwoo that he was just trying to ask him out on a date and just panicked earlier and Wonwoo would get out of his house and never speak to him in the office again OR Wonwoo would quit his job and get another workㅡthose are the fourth and fifth scenarios.

Final scenarios include Wonwoo not being able to go tonight and he'd be left with a bunch of people he really didn't wanna be with that night in the first place or he'd be eating dinner alone just like always.

Hmm, what would it be? 🤔🤔🤔

Not an Ask Albedo but its so cool that there's teenagers watching and loving Ben10 NOW, because to me Ben 10 fans now are either oldies in their 20s who've been watching it since 2006 or 10 year olds who loved the reboot. Also amazing that you crush and fangirl over Ben, as me and friends in the 2010s self-projected onto Ben instead, even now I watch OS and Omniverse and think 'he's just like me fr'. I never thought of him as 'attractive', so I'd love to hear what you find attractive about him!

OOOOOH THIS MADE ME SO HAPPY IDK WHY!!!

oh yes, actually I've always loved the show since I was 6 (although begrudgingly at the time cause my brother's would tease me about it lol, as you probably read I was deeply affected by gender norms back then). actually I didn't know that there were so few teens nowadays that love hin haha, considering the entire franchise started in 2006, my birth year i thought that all that are left are the teens who connect with their childhood. but that guess it makes sense since any teen would be too young then to really comprehend the show all that well.

and yes, like you, i connect emotionally with Ben. He's just as emotionally driven as me, way too much for his own good. I get attached very easily, just like him, but also find it hard to commit to people when I have so many things on my mind/hands. (reffering to Julie)

but that, kinda embarrassingly lead to me having a crush on him lol ^^' ::

1- I just find his relatableness very endearing, especially for me who has his same qualities that I've been told are a burden. I love how romanticized (though in a good way) his faults are, because as the show progresses, he learns, and although stubborn and slow, he still learns. It's just a drive of affection that makes you feel proud of yourself, and seeing Ben have these qualities loved by everyone around him made me want to be like him.

2- I also love how confident af he is. I get that sometimes he's very cocky and arrogant, but then again, how else would you find the courage to win in a fatal fight? you need that confidence boost, or just the right about of positivity that'll get you to actually become determined when you're one step closer to your goal.

3- his freedom of will. actually, although silly, i always envied how easily he could manage anything he put his mind to. even if it ends up I him getting in trouble, captured or even imprisoned, I always love how open-minded he is.

4- I have this thing about me where I watch something just for the plot and never appreciate the little details. so one day I was on pinterest reliving and childhood and finding some pics of show and just went "wait the artsyle is so frikkin adorable, how did i never pay attention to that" and that applies to ALL the versions of the show. And since I'm a loser I also developed a crush on him :)) he's very pretty if you look at him well enough. it's a standard anyways: that cartoon characters should be attractive ideally, so it was bound to happen haha. but yeah, that's everything I love about Ben. overall his personality is what really captured my heart. his clumsiness, idiocy, himbo behavior always get ne screaming!!

I felt like writing something chill and wholesome and this came up. Personally I'm a belly boop person, I've always enjoyed watching people's confused faces when I poke their stomach, but sometimes I'll do it out of habit (when I'm leaving a room or saying goodbye to a friend I belly boop them insted of a normal goodbye and won't realize that I did it until someone would point it out or just in very random moments like in the middle of a conversation I'll do it as well) so I decided to hc how the demon brothers react to an mc who does this.

Keys: MC = your main character's name.

Summary: The demon brothers discover a peculiar trait of MC: belly boops.

The first time it happened was one morning when everyone was getting ready to go to RAD.

Lucifer always opens the door for everyone, and leaves last, so when you past by him you unconsciously decided to thank him for holding the door open in a very...unusual manner.

It was so random, that it was one of the very few moments in his life that the avatar of pride didn't know how to react.

—MC, What do you think you're doing?—his voice stopping you on your tracks.

You where confused at first on what he was referring to, but when you realized a wave of embarrassent hit you.

—Sorry! It came out of habit! I used to do that with my friends back in the human world!—you apologized quickly.

—refrain from doing that again, I'll only let it slide this time, understood?

—Yes! It won't happen again!

It did...

The second time it happened you immediately apologized only catching for a split second the death glare he gave you before running away.

Ultimately no matter how much he scolded you, you didn't stop.

I think he kinda...just accepted it once he realized you did that only with the people you're comfortable with. So he took it as a weird compliment.

So now he just stares blankly at you every time you do so, no longer even trying to correct your weird habit.

And to be honest...he secretly thinks is adorable, but he'll never tell.

Mammon

—Whadda ya' think you doin' ya' dumb human!?!?— the avatar of greed asked completely caught off guard.

He was telling you about one of his newest schemes to get some easy money; when all of a sudden, he felt a light and quick pressure on his belly.

It was your finger, but the weird thing was that you still looked like you where listening and waiting for him to continue the conversation like nothing had happened.

He's so confused.

When you realized what you had done, you explained to him it was something you did with your friends in the human world; is your weird unconscious way of showing a person you feel comfortable in their presence.

—W-well...I guess that's ok, but don't ya' dare doin' this to anyone else, got it?

You where about to leave his room with a new game (he insisted you should try) on your hands.

He won't confront you about it, thinking it was a mistake.

But then one time when you two were playing video games together and you just defeated the other team, he extended his hand in order to give you a celebration high-five.

But then you just...boop!

He blushes even more than the last time, and finally asks you why you did it.

When you explain to him is your own way to express endearment for the people close to you...oh boi.

He blushes so bad and his eyes get all glossy like he's about to cry, for a moment you might even think he's in pain or something.

He never thought of himself as someone you value or hold in such a dear place in your life, so he's just so happy to hear that!

Forget the high-fives! Belly boops are now a must every time you two are together!

Satan

The first time it happened was when you two where studying for a test in the library.

Satan is not a big fan of touch or touchy people; I feel like it makes him a bit anxious.

So when you first booped his belly...he felt kind of uncomfortable, but didn't say anything, thinking it was a mistake or a lame attempt on your part to provoke him.

He won't confront you the second, third or even fourth time it happens, only limiting himself to lightly scolding you with a quick glance.

But if you still don't get the hint, he would finally talk to you (not in an aggressive manner btw he's chill with you about it)

—MC, I don't know if you're doing this as a way to provoke me or make fun of me, but you should know how uncomfortable it makes me—He spoke holding you by your shoulders softly.

You explained to him it was something you did unconsciously, but that you weren't mocking him, Belly booping was something you only did with people you felt comfortable and trust enough to do so.

He gives you a kind smile after hearing you say that; He's truly happy to be someone you can rely on.

He might try to put up with it, belive me, he really does. But he just can't.

You let him know that it's ok for him to not like it, and that you're not mad or dissatisfied in any way, and that you'll be working on controlling this peculiar habit of yours.

He appreciates your words, and now every time that your habit slips, and you try to belly boop him; he'll catch your hand before you can do so and gently lower it, offering you a kind smile instead or...if he's feeling soft he'll hold your hand for a bit.

Asmodeus

He was finishing giving you a make-over when it happened.

—All done, hun! You look so beautiful!! Not as much as me tho...—he said handing you a mirror

—Thank you, Asmo!!! you're so talented!!

And out of nowhere...boop!

Silence.

Asmo, being the avatar of lust, has experienced all kind of touches.

You first booped his belly at dinner, big mistake.

He was enjoying his meal when all of a sudden he feels your finger on his stomach.

And we all know Beel is a calm demon but when it's about food...you better don't try anything funny.

He hates being disturbed when he's eating.

He huffed in annoyance, directing you an angry glance you'd only had seen when the whole custard incident happened.

Tho he saw your apologetic expression and decided it wasn't something worth making a fuss about and continued eating.

He'll later feel bad about it tho, so when he came to apologize you decided to let him know it wasn't something you did on purpose and what it meant to you.

Beel was really happy, he even blushed a little and hugged you enthusiastically.

He enjoys belly boops...as long as you don't do it when he's eating.

Belphegor

It happened for the first time when he was falling asleep in class.

When you booped him he just thought it was your way of keeping him awake, so he didn't say anything at first.

That until he started to notice you would also do it in very random moments: You two would be out shopping or something and then...boop!

He's a bit startled at first, but much like Satan, he'll just look at you weirdly and then move on.

Or at least until curiosity gets the better of him and finally asks you about it.

When you finish telling him, a small smirk appeared on his lips.

He's the only one who kinda makes you regret you told him about the personal meaning belly boops hold to you because of how much he would tease you.

But he really likes them, because from now on. Every time the two of you take naps together; Belphie would belly boop you back before dozing off.

You are similar to them, unfortunately they've been inactive since 2020, so I appreciate your blog since I personally believe jkk are a thing but it doesn't hurt to question my stance time and again especially now that it does seem majority of jkkrs stick to one opinion of jkk's relationship and sort of exaggerate every bit of jkk moment we get. I always see jkkrs implying or claiming JK woke up early with the purpose of bringing Jimin the snow as gift? We could say that JK did gift it to JM specifically, likely because he knows JM loves snow but I just don't think JK purposely woke up thinking of gifting JM? I always thought he just wanted to hike then when he saw snow and remembered JM likes it, that's when he decided to  bring some for him. Idk, just one among the moments I think are hyped by jkkrs but I don't regard as much? (3)

You’re the third person who’s brought up that comparison, which is the only reason why I know about them, but I was never around when they were. From what little I gathered, Finch seemed like a much nicer person. 😂 I can kind of see where people are seeing some similarities, I suppose, but I think we also differ greatly on some things (the subject of tattoos being one of them, of which I’ve candidly spoken about with moderate irritation). Other than such differing viewpoints, however, they seemed like an interesting person, and I probably would’ve followed them if they were still active.

With regards to the snow gift, it’s really hard to say what the motivation was without getting into Jungkook’s head. So while I wouldn’t necessarily say he woke up with the express purpose of getting a chunk of snow for Jimin–not that it wasn’t the intent but because we just don’t know–we can glean some information that hints at something to that effect.

If it had been something he decided to pick up randomly, it wouldn’t really matter who the recipient was. He could’ve given it to Taehyung as soon as they linked up or he could’ve left it on the bench.

Whether or not his initial goal was to bring snow back to Jimin, the end result is the same: he gives the chunk of snow to Jimin only. Re-watching that scene, you can see Jimin wave at Jungkook from inside the cabin and, without any prompting whatsoever, Jungkook says, “I brought snow from the top.”

Jimin greets the staff, and Jungkook offers the ice block to him: “Here, Jimin.” Jimin thanks him, which is overlaid by the editors’ caption, “Jungkook gives Jimin a chunk of snow as a gift!”

I think there’s some controversy because of the editors’ caption, and some people like to focus on the fact that had there not been any commentary to that effect, it’s Jungkook just casually giving Jimin snow, not that it was a gift per se. But that’s just splitting hairs to be petty.

Technically, from an observer’s standpoint, that’s what happening. Jimin loves snow, Jungkook gives him snow; ergo, gift. It’s a funny little gesture that even takes Jimin aback, sure, but it’s endearing nonetheless because the context so far indicates that Jimin was the intended recipient, gift or not.

I think the underlying issue that people have with this is that shippers automatically use this as proof that they’re dating/in love/whatever. I personally don’t see it that way, but I do think it’s sweet. What the scene tells me about Jungkook is that he’s spontaneously thoughtful, maybe Jimin was a source of comfort to him when the scandals about him were happening and he wanted to do something nice (if not a little “out there”), etc. I’m pulling possibilities out of my ass but my point is, we’ll never actually know. Still, it’s +1 for Jikook.

(I’m not saying +1 like this is a game and we’re winning, but I’m saying this like all shippers get moments, and this was ours. Read into it or not, it’s still Jikook-centric.)

having never met his closest friends before, you wanted to dress nicely on the day. you grabbed the accessories that you had laid out the night before that went perfectly with your outfit and put them on while admiring how great you looked in the mirror.

upon arriving at the diner, you spotted your boyfriend and his friends sat closely together. you slowly walked over to their booth, not wanting to seem too eager. your boyfriend stood up and flashed you a smile before pointing for you to sit next to a boy dressed in blue and while, who you later found out was named mashiho. you ordered from the menu together and started to chat amongst yourselves.

“so what do you do, y/n?” the boy next to you asked while hyunsuk was distracted.

“i’m a student, but i work part time. actually i work just over the road” you pointed to the sports shop over the way.

“i think i’ve seen you in there before, sorry i didn’t recognise you, you look so different when you’re not wearing their fluorescent uniform,” he smiled, pointing to the bright trainers you now remember selling him a few weeks ago.

“oh that was you?” you laughed loud enough to catch hyunsuk’s attention, who’s smile faded as he glanced at the pair of you bonding “nice taste” you complimented mashiho.

“not as nice as mine though, right?” hyunsuk piped up, while brushing the shoulder of his shirt.

“it’s not a competition” you smiled, awkwardly, not wanting to hurt anyone’s feelings.

“but if it was…” one of his other friends spoke. you made a mental note that from now on, you hated that guy.

you thought about your response for a while. mashiho looked disinterested, too busy picking the crispiest fries from his plate. your boyfriend, however, looked a little helpless, he was practically begging with his eyes for you to compliment him.

“then i think my boyfriend would win. hyunsuk has better taste than anyone, and i think we can all agree” you rattled on, face burning, knowing that the others around the table thought you were just sucking up to him.

you have the pettiest boyfriend, you know it, he knows it, everyone knows it. he gets jealous even at the tiniest things, but it’s kind of endearing. your graduation was no exception, he really wanted to be happy all afternoon, but seeing you with so many guys hugging you while you cried tears of joy, made him mad, that should be him.

to treat you (and also to show off to everyone that you were his) he took you to the bar in town that you liked the most. you sat down at the table for two and scanned over the menu, wondering why you were even looking, knowing you were going to order the same thing as always. you told jihoon what you wanted as you could see the waiter getting nearer to your table, he always ordered for you when you asked him to.

“y/n” you heard coming from behind you. you turned around to see a familiar face, junghwan, and following behind him, a friend of his that you’d once met in passing.

“i saw that you graduated today! congratulations!” he spoke, indicating that you stand for a hug. meanwhile, jihoon ordered, but not without side eyeing you and this boy.

“can we join a table onto ours please and make it sit 4 people?” you asked the waiter who nodded and did as you requested without a fuss.

jihoon shot you the darkest stare at you sat opposite to him. “our order will be out way before theirs” he snarled quietly.

“it’s fine we can bring them out at the same time” the waiter smiled at him upon hearing your boyfriends petty remark.

“thanks” jihoon replied sarcastically, the smile on his face showing clear signs that the waiter needs to back off now.

“so why are you here?” junghwan asked “you should be going out partying, is he not letting you?” he looked over a jihoon after joking around with you a little.

“there are no parties to go to” you frowned, “but i’d rather spend my days with jihoon, and now you guys, than with my classmates anyway” you bubbled. you looked over once again at your boyfriend, who’s expression was still as stern as when they'd arrived. you kicked at his leg gently and flashed him a warm smile, hoping he’d mimic it and look at least a little genuine with it.

“i’m going to the bathroom, order quickly” jihoon told the pair. you glared at him as he walked off, all while still trying to participate in the conversation. jihoon returned with an obviously fake smile, yet it was an improvement so you went along with it. to your surprise, jihoon had managed to endure 3 drinks before deciding it was time to leave and go home with you, which you were more than happy to do since the bar was getting pretty full. you said your goodbye to the two friends with a small hug, while jihoon watched from the side. “come on” he rolled his eyes as he watched your arms wrap around junghwan’s shoulders.

leaving the bar, jihoon’s hand engulfed yours. “there has got to be some kind of reward for spending 90 minutes with them. oh and for watching all of those other guys hug you” he whispered into your ear “i’m sure you’ll think of something”. he laughed a little and pressed a warm kiss against your cheek. you smirked, knowing the perfect way to show him that you were all his, now almost too eager to get home.

the first movie, you cried. the second, you cried again. however, by the third, you’d gotten a little bit bored. you pulled your phone from your back pocket, your fidgeting catching yoshi’s attention.

“hey what’s wrong?” he asked, his question fading as he read your notifications. “why did haruto ring you-“ he paused to check the number “4 times?” he didn’t think too much of it. you guys were friends, your boyfriend just wanted to know the gossip.

you called him back straight away, leaving your boyfriend clueless. he waited patiently as you spoke on the phone. “no way!” you let out with a smile “i’ll be there in a second” you got up, wafting your hand so that yoshi would follow.

“what why?” he stayed put, waiting for a response.

“he said he’s got a surprise for me” you rushed, getting your coat on as quickly as possible. yoshi, once again, sat back in his comfortable position, which you knew meant that he was not moving any time soon.

“but what about our movie day” he whined and sulked. you rolled your eyes knowing he wouldn’t stop for anything, you had to give in. you slowly started removing your jacket, pulling your phone out of the pocket and launching it towards the sofa.

“i’ll just text him and tell him to give it to me, the love of your life, okay?” he continued “gosh he knew it was our day, he should have left us alone instead of distracting you”

you smiled at his hint of jealousy, hoping it wouldn’t be the last you ever saw, because honestly, his mini tantrum was rather cute.

🌟 junkyu:

“what homework is that? what subject?” junkyu shuffled through your sheets of paper over your shoulder with a pout while you worked.

“considering i study japanese i think it would be pretty wild if it was the timeline of the spanish armada, don’t you?” you snapped unexpectedly, you’re not even sure why you said it in the tone you did.

“i was just making conversation” he slumped onto the bed while pulling a face behind your back, only then noticing the familiar young boy on your phone screen. “oh, you’re calling someone, i’ll leave, give you some privacy” he pouted once again, dragging himself from your bed. “clearly i'm not needed here”

you turned to asahi, the boy you were calling, who was generously helping with your work, as he avoided eye contact with you. you stared at the small image of yourself in the corner, biting your lip with guilt.

“i’m sorry junkyu, i didn’t mean to snap” you admitted, throwing your head into your hands as soon as the words left your mouth. you’d be kind of stressed lately with all the learning, but that doesn’t mean you can take it out on your boyfriend, you thought.

“it’s okay, you shouldn’t be nice to me when your handsome tutor is calling, i understand” he rolled his eyes and tutted with a hint of exaggeration. it didn’t take long for him to register what had just happened though, as a few seconds later you felt his arms wrap around you from the back and a gentle kiss placed on top of your head. he turned off the call and whispered an almost silent “sorry”.

“i only called him to help with this one passage.”

“you don’t need to explain to me. but why didn’t you ask me for help?” he blew his cheeks up and pouted in a way that was even bigger than before. “i'm really good at japanese” he boasted

“junkyu, sweetie, next time maybe” you giggled, finally regaining the power to sit up again slightly. “but your jealousy was kinda cute, so maybe i will call mashiho next time”

“don’t even think about it” he hushed you in a harsh, yet sarcastic tone.

☀️ mashiho:

it was pretty rare that mashiho got jealous, or that he told you/showed you that he was at least. you and doyoung actually spent a lot of time together these days and your boyfriend never seemed to mind so you never stopped. but little did you know, he’d just about reached breaking point. he was tired of you “not being able to meet up with him” because you’d already made arrangements with doyoung to do something. he wanted to do those things with you.

“where are you going? you don’t usually dress like that on a sunday?” he questioned as you headed towards the door.

“i told you, doyoung and i are gonna watch that movie today. i can’t go in my pjs” you replied.

“oh with doyoung, i should have guessed” he rolled his eyes, leaning back against the sofa. he pulled his phone from his pocket, ready to text one of his friends once again to ask if they wanted to do something.

“what’s that supposed to mean?” you turned your head back to look at him. he looked hot like that, but you didn’t think right now was the time to bring it up.

“you’re always doing things with him. would it be so wrong if you went and watched a movie with me?” he asked as you walked towards him, ready to hug him and apologise. you thought for a moment, realising that you had been spending more time with doyoung than your own boyfriend, but was it really all that bad? you sat besides him and placed his phone on the sofa so he had nothing to do other than talk to you about this.

“so i can’t see my friends?” you snapped back at him in a higher pitch, even though he wasn’t shouting at you. his eyes softened and his right eye filled with tears, shortly followed by his left. you refused to look at him, half in anger, half in shame.

“that’s not what i meant, you know that. just go, have fun” he ran his hand down your arm while you sat in silence. it really was that bad. you didn’t want to be THAT couple who never did anything together.

“do you want to come with?” you smiled.

“maybe, only if we, you and i, can go bowling afterwards, alone” he replied as if he was still mad.

“of course!” you exclaimed, it was an offer you couldn't refuse. upon hearing your response, mashiho grabbed your hand, leading you to his room which was full of clothes.

“now, which tshirt matches with yours the best?” he hummed.

❄️ jaehyuk:

more than the party itself, wayyy more than the party itself, you enjoyed having your friends over beforehand to get ready and vibe with. tonight you expected only your boyfriend but he ended up bringing along another friend too, yedam, who you were actually pretty close to, he even introduced you to jaehyuk in the first place.

both had gotten changed pretty quickly in the bathroom while you slipped into your outfit in your bedroom. you were just applying a layer of lipstick when you heard a knock at the door.

“can i come in?” yedam asked.

you shouted a “yes” and he did so. his outfit was all black except for the flannel he’d thrown on, his hair was a little messy and his boots were untied.

“look at my nails” he smiled brightly, offsetting his outfit perfectly. “i just painted them so they’re wet, and jaehyuk is doing his business in there. can you tie my shoes for me, please?” he begged. you agreed and offered your chair as a place for him to put his shoe. “tight trousers” he shrugged, leaving you with no other option but to get down on the floor and tie them, it was a good job it was yedam, you thought.

“get up” jaehyuk’s voice could be heard from a mile away, despite how softly spoken he is. you stood up and looked over at him with wide eyes “oh i thought you were proposing” he laughed, playing the whole thing off as a joke. “let me, i don’t want your outfit to get dirty, which might i add looks extremely good, honey” he complimented while getting down on the floor to tie his friends' laces.

“yoon jaehyuk, are you jealous?” you smirked, looking over at yedam, who was smiling too.

“no, i just don’t want your outfit to get messed up, i just said that” he lied once again. “but if you were proposing yeah, i think i’d be pretty jealous” he continued.

a/n: i wrote this for Valentine's day! it's my first time writing Isaac and i tried a different writing style than the one i'm used to, (it's kind of like a mix between Isaac's pov & 3rd person's pov?) and i kinda like how this turned out!

Valentine's day is known as the day where people would celebrate and express their affections for their loved ones, especially with their significant other, and knowing this, Isaac also wanted to celebrate it with his darling lover, although even if it's just any other day, he would still express his undying love and affections for her, undoubtedly

He knew he's not a man who's good with his words, so he'd rather show it with his actions instead, he had planned to take her on a date tonight to the field near the mansion where they would stargaze together, it has become quite a frequent date for them ever since they got together, just quietly enjoying each other's presence under the starry night sky, he simply loved each of that moment he shared with her

It was the middle of the day when Isaac spotted her cleaning one of the windows in the hallway and after pausing for a moment to muster up his courage —because yes, she still gave him butterflies and nervousness even after being together for quite some time now— he walked up to her, trying to contain the blush he could feel spreading slowly across his cheeks

"Us going stargazing together tonight? Oh, yes! I would love that Isaac, it has been quite some time since we last go stargazing!" Was her reply when he asked her if she wanted to go with him, the excitement were clear in her eyes and her saccharine smile as she gazed at him made his heart swell with love for her

Isaac was always so utterly enraptured with her, how she reacted so enthusiastically to even the most simple things he said or done, —even he himself felt that going stargazing as a date was not a very extraordinary one, considering it's Valentine's day and he knew most men in town would bring their lady to a fancy restaurant and have an extravagant night— but it was just how he was like and he knew they both loved it that way, and it made him feel so very loved and appreciated for who he is; it filled him with such an overwhelming affection for her which he could never describe with words, so instead, he just kisses her forehead tenderly before sauntering off with a face as red as the fruit he claimed he so despises

When the sun finally set and the sky turning into dark hues of blue, the two of them left the mansion to go to the field overlooking the 19th century paris, Isaac carrying one of his invention, the reflecting telescope, while she's carrying a basket filled with a blanket and enough foods for the both of them

Once everything was set and ready, they both plopped down on the thick blanket, a pleasant silence fell between them for a short moment before Isaac starts fiddling with his hair and steal a couple glances at her. No matter how many times she said she loved spending time with him like this, just gazing at the stars, he couldn't help but feel a little bit anxious that she would eventually grow bored of it, and he stole a couple more glances at her, trying to think of something to say but he couldn't find something good enough so he just kept his mouth shut, after a while she finally noticed his glances and turned to look at him questioningly

"Is something wrong, Isaac?" She was always gentle when she speaks to him and the underlying concern etched in her voice almost made him feel guilty, fiddling with a lock of his hair further under the weight of her earnest eyes, he looked away flusteredly, "I... I just thought that you might be getting bored..." His voice came out a little more squeaked than he would like but then he suddenly heard her soft giggles, looking up to look at her again only to find her staring right at him with the most tender expression he'd ever seen, his breath hitched, this time failing to look away

"I would never get bored of spending times with you, Isaac," She started, the look she gave him only softening further, "In fact, no amount of time would be enough for me to spend with you." Isaac felt his heart leapt at those words, he cleared his throat to appear somewhat calm in front of her when really, he could feel his cheeks heating up and his heart began to pound out of beat, "You're an odd one..." He mumbled rather curtly, but they both know it's what he does when he's flustered, so she just smiles at that, looking back up at the starry sky

But once again, Isaac found himself stealing glances at her form illuminated by the stars, this time for a completely different reason than the last time, it was rather because she looked so dazzlingly beautiful —even more so than she already was— he could see the stars reflected in her eyes, making it seem to sparkle, and oh how he thought he would much prefer watching them through her eyes, so much so that the stars overhead were all but forgotten

"Isaac, you said we came here to watch the stars, am I right?" Suddenly, she lowers her eyes again so that she was looking into his cherry blossom ones, and he frowned a little, "Yes, isn't that what we were doing now?" He asked her back, tilting his head to one side, but her answer wasn't what he expected at all, "How is it stargazing if you keep staring at me?" There was a teasing lilt to her voice and he felt his heart skip a beat at the mischievous tone. He was never fond of getting teased by the other residents in the mansion but it was different when she was the one who did it, he didn't mind it one bit

Seeing her playful grin as she gazed at him, Isaac couldn't help but wanting to steal it off her face, so he closed the distance between them and pressed a quick kiss in the corner of her lips. When he pulled away, the smile was gone from her face, replaced by a flush slowly creeping up on her cheeks and Isaac grins to himself, he wasn't intending on it, but after seeing her flustered reaction, he found he couldn't resist teasing her further to get her back, there was just something about her reaction that made him feel a little more daring and mischievous than usual. With a small smile adorned on his lips, he looked directly into her eyes

"But I am indeed stargazing, meae deliciae," He reached up towards her, fingers tenderly brushing some strands of hair back behind her ear, "They are here in your eyes."

P.s. meae deliciae is a latin word for ‘my darling’ because i headcanon that isaac would sometimes call his mc latin terms of endearment. He wrote a whole book in latin, he had to have called her at least a number of latin terms of endearment and you can't convince me otherwise aha
