Puppy Pride Party 🐾🏳️‍🌈‼️

This took me SO long but it’s finally ready

There’s so many fictional dogs I just adore so I drew them all at a pride party! What’s crazy is that I have another 12 dogs lined up for another drawing like this! Stay tuned for that!

After seeing your animation of Dogday and Allister I ship them so much and I cannot help but share my thoughts on the idea of their ship.

I imagine it'd be one of those instances where I can see it being a slow and steady relationship, where Dogday is the patient one while Allister takes his time warming up to him.

Dogday would be one of, if not one of the only things that gives Allister a reason to get up. And on Dogday's side, Allister is someone who listens without judging him and listens to his problem. This is just something they'd be used to doing until it becomes more than that.

On top of Allister being a person for comfort that Dogday could look to, Dogday's uplifting presence is a huge motivator for Allister in general, which encourages him to want to try more.

I just like the idea of a big, imposing, gentle yet lazy alligator fawning over his touch starved, optimistic ball of sunshine who supports every step he takes.

I can see the idea that while Allister doesn't talk much because he didn't see the merit in it, he shows how much he appreciates Dogday in physical actions. Imagine small displays of affection like wrapping him in his arms, or hand holding. It may not seem like much, but Dogday loves it.

And if Dogday ever overworks himself, Allister basically forces him to relax by making him lay down, and doesn't stop holding him until he agrees to relax. In order to help him do that, he learned how to make tea from Picky because he figured it would help. He's probably really good at it by now.

Can you imagine Dogday just laying on top of the gator who's holding him tenderly in his arms while he lays on the bed? Honestly, I think if it weren't for Allister, Dogday wouldn't relax as much.

I keep thinking about how Rin's kiss embodies death, and how Nezha's kiss serves to save a life - I keep on thinking about her nature turned to violence and how he's soft at his core but duty commits him to war despite his love for her instead. I keep thinking about how, in the end, Rin breaks the cycle by condemning Nezha to follow his duty and shoulder the burden of a new world alone; violence and peace all at once

waaa can i just say i LOVE how you draw poppy. she is so cute in your artstyle! i love it when people draw her interacting with other trolls than just branch, and seeing you put her in situations where it feels realistic she'd forgive/accept creek after a certain amount of time is so cute. love your interpretation of her!

I genuinely need to draw her more honestly, there's so much potential there in a Creek and Poppy relationship post-betrayal (obviously not romantic), just..... Poppy letting him stay not because she forgives him or even fully believes him but out of duty as a queen, the fact he doesn't ever seem to look her in the eyes upsets her, should she be mad ? of course she is but is it worth it ? if she had been in his shoes, what would she had done differently ? does it even matter at this point ? they can't ever go back to the way things were.. and maybe that's a good thing

this panel always makes me go ballistic the way he drawls it, sardonic, but at the same time you know there's still the kid inside who idolized his father, who would proudly proclaim that batman could take anything in stride, had the ultimate trust that bruce would be able to save him, and all this love and love has now crystallized into something sour, wine into vinegar, leaning back watching his father scramble to disarm the bomb he planted, i never get tired of watching you work.

STOP making me think about rinezha. i can't do it anymore. enemies to enemies slow burn. enemies to begrudging allies to friends to *almost* lovers. then betrayal, and then they're just enemies who used to be in love. and they both *know* that they were in love, and maybe they are still in love, but they stand on opposite sides of a war because they've both made their decisions and cannot come back from them. there can never be reconciliation for the things they've done to each other, but god, they're still in love. i am literally eating drywall over them

As I’ve mentioned before, the protagonist in this AU is an age regressor, and quite young at that. They tend to regress involuntarily, particularly when surrounded by positive or negative triggers, resulting in moments where they enter a childlike headspace. (Their regression age is somewhere around 0-3) 

This involuntary age regression significantly impacts the behavior of the creatures within the facility, leading to a complex array of reactions.

For instance, during encounters with Huggy Wuggy, the protagonist's regression triggers a profound change in perception. Despite being an adult, they are perceived as a child by Huggy Wuggy and other creations within the facility. This perception shift is consistent among all the creatures, who consequently treat the protagonist as a vulnerable child.

The best way I can describe the impact of age regression on the creatures is a nullifying effect. Rather than succumbing to their inherently sadistic tendencies, the creatures become markedly gentler and more nurturing. They instinctively adopt a protective and nurturing role towards the protagonist, exhibiting behaviors akin to caregiving.

With more formidable creatures like CatNap, the influence of the protagonist's age regression might not immediately manifest due to their heightened resistance. However, over time, even CatNap succumbs to a nurturing instinct towards the protagonist, albeit retaining a mischievous demeanor. Nonetheless, the protagonist will remain unharmed, with CatNap's antics posing nothing more than occasional playful disruptions.

In summary, within the world of Poppy Playtime, whenever your character regresses in front of the creatures, they universally perceive and treat you as a child. Hopefully this explains how the regression works in this AU!
