i like maximus's arc a whole lot. he has the emotional range of lucy while being more thematically cohesive and incidentally funny. his immaturity is played for pathos and it's very succesful imo. a brotherhood deserter is a good perspective character. i like it when he asks lucy to make his penis explode.

i thought the power armor looked very silly in the trailers. then it looked very silly in the show but it felt intentional and i liked it. wobbling rigid tin can clowns

the shady sands shit among fans was annoying. fallout fans often latch on to misunderstandings to feel directly victimized. it really is the show's fault for being too scared to say the exact year shady sands exploded but "this means new vegas isnt canon" is the take of someone playing catch-up & looking for technicalities to justify their discontent

shady sands and vault 33 being IN LOS ANGELES shatters the lore of fallout 1 but that's not a ragebait headline that would make 3d fans feel like theyre being victimized on purpose so you rarely see it talked about. (i also dont think inconsistency is the end of the world but it feels like it precludes them from ever talking about the actual lore of Boneyard)

moldaver really doesnt make sense & the 'ncr remnants' lore is so silly and unsuccessful it's beneath acknowledgement

"the high clerics of the commonwealth" is REALLY GOOD. it probably didnt mean to synergize with the 'maxson cults' conflict mentioned in fo4 but those two details together are incredibly rich to me. i love to imagine that after fo4 some pissed off west coast brotherhood warpriests showed up and purged the east coast contingency for heresy. that's so good

the ghoul potion follows up on the ghoul potion secret plot in fo4. im also not sure if this was intentional but it rules

Walking up the steps of Valhalla you tried your best to ignore the Nordic god floating above you. He had been pestering you for some years now. Why? Because he proposed, after he only knew you for 1 month. His words were that he could already sense you were the one. Ofcourse that was a lie and he immediately went to the fates to see if you would be his partner. Typical of Loki. ‘Comeeee ooonnnnn~’ Loki whined at you, still floating and following you even if he was supposed to attend the meeting with the other gods. You ignored his whining and finished walking the steps, entering the green house. He just sulked and closed his eyes, murmuring to himself.

In the green house you searched for some flowers you had to attend to on request of Idunn, who also needed to attend the meeting that Loki skipped. Wondering why you couldn’t hear the exaggerated whines and complaints of the trickster god you turned to find him outside the house still floating and murmuring with his eyes closed, he was floating with his face turned to the sky and his hands behind his head. His hair messy because of all the turning and moving. However, he wasn’t looking at where ye was floating and he was getting closer and closer to the glass. As a sign to hopefully make him aware of what he was doing, you ticked on the glass. But he was too caught up in his childish sulking to realize and then bumped his head into the glass which resulted in him falling to the ground on his back with a loud ‘Thump’ and a breathy but screeching ‘OUCH!’

This made you burst out laughing. It’s such a Loki thing to do that would never happen to anyone else which only made it even funnier. ‘H-HEY! IT’S NOT FUNNY! DON’T LAUGH AT YOUR FIANCE!’ Loki spurted out, embarrassment mixed with irritation and a pinch of humiliation. He quickly got up and clenched his hands when you still laughed at him, feeling more humiliated now but also kind of relieved he was able to make you laugh after you ignored him. ‘I’m not your fiancé, Loki.’ You told him a clearly. You hadn’t even accepted his proposal. Not that you would if you’ll be honest, but you’re not going to tell him that. Loki seemed a bit disheartened by your answer. It was no surprise that he really wanted to be with you, but he hated getting rejected like this. It hurt. And hurt is not something he experienced at often which only confused him and the way he should handle his feelings.

‘…why not, Siggy?’ He asked you a little more seriously now, trying to mask his disheartened and difficult acceptance. He isn’t one to take no for an answer and would push until he gets what he wants. That’s how he is and always had been. Though despite the mixed feelings of being married to him you couldn’t deny that the nickname he gave you was cute. ‘Well we don’t know each other that well, and you proposed to me 1 months after we knew each other. It’s all just so fast.’ Loki’s expression turned a little solemn at your words, but at the same time it also made him thought for a moment. Is he really pushing to hard? But he’s certain you’re the only one for him? Are you going to reject him? No! No way! It’ll be humiliating. Perhaps he should just play it as a long lasting prank… but it’s no secret that he does love you though. The scenarios in his head, the way he wanted to know more about you. He played it off as a crush before. But it’s so much more than that.

You couldn’t help but feel a little bad for saying that. He looked so sad… ‘come here.’ You said opening your arms for a hug, this seemed to make him feel a little better as he walked over to you and wrapped his arms around your middle, his head was on your shoulder and he seemed to still be deep in thought. Even though his body was bent because of the hug, you could see his muscular shoulder a little slumped down. It was kind of amusing that he assumed you didn’t like him just because you refused the proposal. It didn’t mean you didn’t love him, just that you didn’t want to marry. ‘You do realize that i’d rather be your girlfriend first than actually marrying right away right?’ You asked him patting his back, this made him a bit stunned… you wanted to his girlfriend…you. Wanted to be his. His girlfriend. GIRLFRIEND?!!! His expression turned into one of happiness and excitement, but before he could say anything he choked on his own spit which caused you to laugh.

‘So…you’re my girlfriend now?’ Loki asked you, seemingly still needing time to process it. He did have a smile on his face and hugged you tightly. He seemed very happy, his cheeks slightly red and he seemed a little flustered. ‘Well, yeah! You’re cool with that?’ You asked him patting his back as he hugged you even more and placed a kiss on your cheek. ‘YIPPEE’

notes after rewatching fallout s1 ep3

• almost certain that is sugarfoot cooper is dismounting in the scene from the movie he is filming 🥲 • the film cooper was filming here is called "the man from deadhorse", a clear play on the concept of "beating a dead horse" • just realized he [presumably] shot the bad guy character twice • i also noticed that the duster the bad guy character is wearing looks an awful lot like the duster cooper wears as the character he “plays” in the wasteland to cope. is... cooper playing a bad guy character based off one of his movies?? • saw a couple of different variations of "feo, fuerte, y formal" [all saying mostly the same thing] cooper says "he was ugly, strong, and had dignity" wikitionary says it denotes a conception of masculinity. very curious about this these words and the scene because cooper is obviously viewed as a concept of masculinity in hollywood, to the point where he's being asked to essentially engage in statecraft via propaganda as this movie scene is making his character do something completely antithetical--- killing the bad guy instead of solving another way, he basically says a line about "commies" then shoots the him in the head

• what's more is that some are viewing the three concepts of "ugly, strong, dignity" to mean either a variation of cooper, lucy, and maximus or of cooper himself, didn't even think of this and it's a particular interesting trichotomy of cooper pre and post war • "well, joey, i'll give you two out of three on that front" and now i don't know which two out of three • cooper goes out of his way to thank the actor jorge for playing the bad guy in his film • cooper presumably read the script, probably had a table read, rehearsal, and still didn't want to film his good guy character killing the bad guy [perhaps after cadillac bob got fired, there were rewrites and cooper was not told until then] out of context, this is charming, he values his characters so much that they mirror his own values [walton has argued with writers, directors, actors about his characters too!] but in context, it is either the beginning or yet another chapter is cooper's conflicting and morally challenging struggle of "right" and "wrong" in this show • need to know more about cadillac bob! he was doing the moral good type of writing on cooper's programs and i am curious if the firing was an ousting [as being labeled a communist is career over here] because the wiki says he was fired for refusing to write this storyline for the "new america" and then they wrote this character change for cooper to have a firmer anticommunist stance to influence the public. cooper wants to change the scene so bad, he asks for a writer and i find it amusing the director thinks doing a 180° on his character would be good because "the audience knows you're a good man. they want to see that even a good man as yourself can be driven too far sometimes" idk but this is about all the horseshit i can take • [this is precisely post war cooper's arc and character if that wasn't obvious enough] • enter barb. i love the sensual "married couple flirting like strangers" energy behind this scene • lavender flowers are supposed to represent purity, silence, grace, devotion, serenity, calmness--- just a little something for you romance girlies to think about with this scene • "tastes like someone touching you for the first time" and they make it a point to show cooper and barb's hands and cooper purposefully touching barb's fingers as they exchange the candy • hands and fingers seem to be important motifs here and it also seems like hands and fingers are particularly worthy of note for cooper • they kiss each other and they're like "sorry, makeup" and "sorry, lipstick" 😭 • looks like barb secured cooper some vault tec contracts • cooper winds up on siggi's headless body and i can almost see the algebra and trigonometry floating around his brain trying to make heads or tails of this shit • from my understanding, there's no chems that keep a ghoul from going feral within the game universe but there are chems that can and have turned people into ghouls, i see speculation that cooper may have a chem addiction and what we see are withdrawal symptoms, as when lucy finds him outside the super duper mart, he's still on the ground and not acting much feral but [of course coughing, drooling, etc could be the show's symptoms for ferality] i digress • almost think because it's dry and arid af out there, that's why he need a chem

meanwhile you were joking with each other the whole way there about how he didn't work fast enough and how he hit so many buildings with the bus and how you were shit at communicating

in the safe haven, you spend most of your time together

you fish, he cooks

and a lot of the time you help him cook

you get drunk off of gallys secret recipe from the Glade for the first time in a long time and run around on the beach together

gally joins you for a bit just to look over you so you didn't end up drowning

fry would be fine, but you? eh... maybe

lots of wrestling on the beach and drawing in the sand together

ok so um a while back when i was super into mo4 i made a little undertale au with kei.

i actually love the au even though its honestly not the most fleshed out and completed thing (mostly because theres alot thats hard to create equivilents with for both games) it made me wanna replay undertale again and im so glad i did because i hadnt fully played since i was much younger. it was honestly like playing for the first time because there was so much that i didnt quite understand when i was younger.

now. the one im most conflicted about is for alphys. i thought about having morikaze in the place of alphys, (in fact i did draw him there) because of the association with kirimi. but i honestly am not sure! i do not really like him !! really the only thing id be comfortable with doing for him is a complete rewrite of his character if i do put him in that spot because he is a creep lol. maybe kouhai would fit better? i think that would be kinda cute actually. ive also thought about otsukin because he doesnt have a role.

id love to use every character (that i like) but its hard assigning everyone a role. and also this au . fucks up established lore/relationships for undertale and mo4 alike. which really isnt an issue ? most of the time? except with the undyne and alphys thing because i dont want to erase their relationship from the au 😢😢

i actually just got an idea from that . arakawa as alphys . i might actually do that lol bc i ship arakashi.

but on the messing up established relationships thing . it also makes me have to completley make up some ? such as axez and kirimi having an association in this au .

also if you cant tell . i realy love jerady and sigkin in this au. theyre so sweet. (i do not ship them in this au. or in general. bc that ship grosses me out.) most of the au art ive done is of them 😭😭😭 i just love them so much .

Thinks about this. Thinks about Sebastian's face in particular, about the whole Agni and Soma situation, and his first instinct is to bring up Soma specifically. What was he gonna say? Was he gonna explain like "Prince Soma is compromised" or some shit, or "Prince Soma is recovering from a surprise attack at the London House and losing Agni", and did he stop himself and trail off to be safe because he doesn't know if he can trust Lau with this info? For o!Ciel's sake because he's clearly still processing/getting over it? SEBASTIAN WHAT IS YOUR REACTION HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Ok. Okay. Okay okay but like WHAT IF

feeling a surge of grief and worry he normally would not feel after such thing befell humans he knew over the coarse of his long life, at one point Sebastian convinces young master he will go check on the prince back at Wolf and Siggy's where they dropped him off.

He also feels a rising sense of responsibility, as he goes, as the closest person to Agni, and maybe, in the similar way he took on the role of guardian of the orphaned young master, he'll bring Soma back to join them, and he can protect him from further harm, to make it up to his lost only friend, and help Soma see this through, until they ALL reach the point of facing the one who killed Agni.

Sure, Soma may refuse to, especially his last discussion with Agni before Agni's death: about him determined to be "like Ciel's khansama" and his uncertainty if he trusts Ciel's butler...

BUT if... Sebastian's butler came for him in this alternate path, then...

(Also maybe as they leave to go rejoin the others at Lau's, they still come across the bullies.. and THIS time... NO ONE GETS AWAY WITH TOUCHING AGNI'S ASHES. NO ONE.

So, seeing the english butler protect Agni's ashes AND him with all his might... Soma starts to realize he was wrong.. Sure, Sebastian is still scary in general for sure! (ESPECIALLY AFTER THAT!!) but he is scary in a GOOD way... if that makes sense.

I thought #8 was the last one, but Gen 2 have a severe lack of WAVY HAIR SUPREMACY, so here were are. 💁‍♀️

- Poor Kurth, you read about how he’s pretty much a genius, but he doesn’t get to do anything u_u;

- Azmur sucks (ye, I said it), I refuse to draw him

- Febail’s fine but I really wanted a beautiful blond braid-bearing boy with a bow as Brigid’s son, with matching blue hair ties with Patty

- I love drawing Byron, because he’s very close to old Hector with grey hair, also because Byron is the best 😤

- when Siggy had that touching moment where he said Lahna was like a mom, I immediately shipped it ;’D (Byron x Lahna)

- no wonder everyone wanted Arvis for emperor, Azmur sucked, Kurth got hit by the plot hammer, man’s got it all: brains, power, and looks (pretty hot amirite? ❤️‍🔥 …too soon? 🤪)

- headcanon that Gen 2 Arvis has the worst eye bags

- Gen 1 Travant was a ladykiller (literally and metaphorically), just look at the smirk on his portrait 😏

- so I thought I’d hate Travant irrevocably after he killed my fav couple, took their daughter, and pretended to be her real dad… but I was wrong. I still don’t really understand how I feel about him. He can’t be forgiven, and yet… I don’t hate him 🫣 FE4 is wild, man…

- one thing I really like about Travant is how smart he is, intelligent enemies that are calculating and don’t underestimate you are the most terrifying
