Surely, surely there are spells that dust, clean, scrub bathrooms, wash clothing? House elves can do it with a snap of their fingers, wizards can do it just as easily with a wave of their wand.

So why do house elves clean dorms and do laundry at Hogwarts? There’s only one explanation:

It has nothing to do with how easy the task is, and everything to do with it actually getting done. In other words, teenagers.

Living in dorms with other teenagers.

At some point in Hogwarts history, there had to have been teenagers running around in three week old uniform shirts and genuinely not realising it was a problem.

Like, it had to be bad enough that someone decided it was enough of an issue to call a meeting about it. House elves have been washing Hogwarts uniforms on a nightly basis ever since.

i disagree with that anon…but i will say the joe rogan stuff did catch my eye too. he is constantly liking posts on instagram from joe’s page and his guests. it was after a crypto episode that nolan started posting crypto. his dad posts vaccine stuff from joe. he liked several posts about masks being useless and the “lies doctors on the payroll tell us” about vaccine safety. dude i have a massive crush on the guy too but in my experience having been in therapy since i was 13 is that people who don’t believe is science rarely put stock in psychology.

I think he stopped liking some of his stuff for a good while, I know he did follow him on Spotify at one point too. Probably still tunes and listens to him no doubt.

*I've indeed seen him follow some guests on the pod n like their post, but they're usually other athletes or wild life/nature dudes*

Personally I feel like saying "people who don't believe in science rarely put stock in psychology." is a blanket statement. Since scepticism or disbelief in certain scientific principles doesn't necessarily mean a person rejects all scientific concepts, including those within psychology.

It's becoming just.... blatantly obvious that all this GOP posturing on transgender individuals being about ~protecting women's rights~ is just them trying to save face after they got Roe overturned and that has since backfired massively for them. Like it's so clear they think this is somehow gonna win points with women 'see we really care abt ur rights! We're trying to protect you!' while they still try to pry those rights from our hands not to mention there's no danger cis women face from trans people anyway
