#currently on the worst road trip of my whole entire life! well. i don't want to jinx it lmao but #today i popped TWO TIRES at once in the middle of the Katy Freeway in Houston TX (the widest highway in the US; 26 lanes btw)#managed to make it over to the shoulder without DYING but then had to sit there for like an hour? and panic called a tow truck because duh #I know how to change a tire but I was – again – sitting on the shoulder of the widest freeway on the continent so #anyway I called a tow; a guy showed up. I assumed it was the tow! turned out it was not. but he helped me put on the spare and then was lik #“follow me to my shop I can do the tires for you” and I was like okay! 👍 but then the ACTUAL tow called me and I realized this was #just a random guy (very nice up to that point but then I got scared about following him to a secondary location?) and so I didn't lmao #I just kept driving and didn't follow him but the guy on the phone was then mad at me because I wasn't where I said I would be because #AGAIN – I thought the original guy WAS the tow company that I called? but anyway guy 2 on the phone was like “YOU OWE ME $200!!!!”#and I said for what? also how would I pay you? and he tried to get me to cash app him lmao?? I didn't. I hung up on him #he called me like 6 more times yelling at me until I finally just blocked his number 💀#however NOW at this point I'm driving on one spare tire and one rapidly-flattening second tire and I still have 3 hours left to get where #I was going for the night and to top it all off I'm in the middle of a city I've only been to one time before? so I manage to get to a hote #like a nice-ish one where I'm like “okay if I get stuck here this won't be the end of the world”#because keep in mind today is a national holiday so basically everything is closed!!!! btw!!!!!#but eventually I'm sitting there and it's literally 100F outside and I remember oh right lol I have car insurance which pays for a tow #(a normal one; not a random one I panic-found on google who calls me screaming at me to cash app him $200)#so anyway I call my insurance and the guy on the phone is very nice and is like “it's okay; we'll have someone to you in 45 min”#and I'm like okay. OKAY. 🙌💪 I am a strong independent woman who is figuring this out and no longer on the side of the highway #but instead in a nice calm neighborhood and all I have to do is wait 45 min and everything will be okay #one hour goes by. I call back. get redirected to the tow company that was dispatched. guy says oh! is my guy not there yet?#I say no. he says okay – I'll have him call you. hangs up.#okay. 20 more min go by. guy finally calls me. says “I'm 20-25 min away” at this point I've been waiting about an hour and a half #I say. okay? okay. 30 more minutes go by. I try to call the guy back. straight to voicemail. three more calls. three more no answers.#I call my insurance back. sit on hold for 15 min. eventually get put through to a different person who's like “okay let me check on him”#get put on hold. eventually she comes back and says “okay he says 15 minutes” I've been waiting over 2 hours at this point. I have to PEE #I just... burst into tears. on the phone with this poor random woman from Geico Insurance. I'm bawling my eyes out.#she was trying to get claim info from me but I'm crying so hard she's like “oh baby no. okay. okay. we can get that from you tomorrow.”#when you cry so hard that even the insurance company is like “you know what we're just going to let this one slide”#anyway guy eventually shows up. he's very nice even though I hate him a little for being so late. he drives me to an OPEN TIRE SHOP

#I love that you can see me back off to dodge his grab before I’m like oh wait I can just bonk him lol #thank you radagon for being the only boss I could see myself doing hitless #except my dodge rate for his stomp/poke combo is like 5%#so it’s only feasible if he doesn’t do that move…#oh and the “nothing personnel kid” teleport and fast smash can also suck it #him the crucible knights and the bell bearing hunter are the only enemies I’ve learned to consistently parry in ER 😮‍💨#I tried learning malenia’s parries but her damage is so overtuned it str8 up was not worth the risk and effort 🥴#radagon definitely isn’t the most fun boss in Elden ring but I think he’s like the most fair out of every single one #which is why it’s gr8 that all my goodwill gets toss out the window with Elden beast 🥴#I had one moment where he did Elden stars chase attack the triple closing rings and then sword swipes #and got absolutely annihilated bc I could not dodge all 3 attacks at once #like attack RNG has always been part of the difficulty in these games but with my limited knowledge this is the first one where #(( outside of gank fights ))#the RNG difficulty slider goes from manageable all the way to full health to death #had one round with malenia where she used waterfowl blade SIX TIMES and I only managed to survive bc I was playing around with a mage build #and was letting bby tiche do most of the damage while I pulled aggro from far away enough that I could dodge WFB comfortably #can you tell I’ve only ever done double godskins with both NPC summons and tears #I’ve heard enough about that fights bullshit that I straight up trivialize it every time I get it to it #Elden ring truly is the most difficult and easiest fromsoft game to date… dialectic 🥳#excited to see how they balance things in the DLC bc honestly outside of WFB malenia really is a fun boss #I don’t mind that her normal attacks are so punishing bc dodging around them or knocking her out of certain attacks feels gr8 #so if bosses are malenia level TUNED without WFB level BULLSHIT I can see myself getting really into it 🥳#tsuchi plays games

perpetually obsessed with the way you cannot pry rayla out of what has led callum into aaravos’ clutches. callum being obsessed with the mirror in the first place? is largely because he was looking for a distraction from the pain of losing her aaravos being able to possess him at all? is because callum did dark magic to save her. and even if you subscribe for some reason, framing wise, that he didn’t do it solely for her and instead for the dragon, he only believed in that cause because she convinced him to (“someone has to take a stand when no one else will” “you’re right”). the 4x04 intro implies that the key is directly connected to aaravos’ interest in callum in the first place? callum only has the cube because rayla grabbed it for him even when everything went to hell in a hand basket. callum only asked for the cube because he recognized the symbols from rayla’s drawing, and only pursued magic because she called him a mage even when he dismissed himself as nothing. he only did a spell because she pushed at him to do it: “is this a guessing game? just do it” like they are insane

society if hoo had them at uni age and the lost trio went to chb and chiron is like "how tf are ANY of u alive and unclaimed". wilderness was just community college.

I don't remember but erm #stars posting #anyways dont count on me committing to this au too hard since Im mostly eternal gales brained rn but I am rotating ideas in my head #shes always interested me deeply as what am I if not a sucker for women who are mostly silhouettes of a character #I was mostly just thinking abt other ppls aus where she is also looping and was thinking abt how fucked it be for her in general but also #how much more fucked it would be for her if it was Only her looping #because as far as she would know theres straight up nothing that can be done to fix this and shed be stuck in a hell of what shed be sure #is her own creation #and then I thought to myself. what if she then accidentally did a loop while trying to fix it #and then my brain also said but what if loop was also there #so I did some mental gymnastics to ignore the possible problems and decided to take an extra spin on it and just sorta add her to the main #party by having her have basically wished to be able to help them defeat the king to make things right and her getting dropped earlier #on in the adventure so I can fuck around with potential character dymamics more (cough cough siffrin)#and for the actual loops I think it'd be funny if she could remember just like loop but was fully convinced that she was looping alone #so itd be siffrin and her acting at eachother trying to hide their seperate breakdowns while meamwhile loop is just staring at her with a #whole heap of mixed emotions but mostly the confusion of who the fuck is this guy???????#and sif is just like yeah thats secret. shes a powerful craft user who's craft experiments backfired and fucked up her body. duh.#and loop just Knows that thats not true but they have no real way to bring it up properly without drawing too much suspicious #oh yeah and Im calling her secret for now. in my minds eye shes like constantly putting on different fronts in hopes that one of them will #stick but shes been able to get away with it by playing up her belief in change to a cartoonish degree #shes really trying to be strong and not raise suspicion since she does want mirabelle to be able to learn and grow from this just the same #as her own mirabelle before and just wants to be able to fix the broken wish by being there to defeat the king herself #which she had already convinced herself was the reason the wish broke since she was the one stuck remembering #I should reword it to that probably because saying shes the one looping isnt Wrong but asside from sif not remembering it still entirely #revolved around him she was just the one forced to deal with it without any real way of learning how to fix it #and while she never figured out the entirety of the sif stuff it was always him taking to her that reset the loop #so she has. complicated feelings on him. she doesn't want to be avoidant or distant or to dislike him! and as time goes on she does grow to #like him a lot! but its just. hard to look him in the eye sometimes.#and then theres the horrors of the actual main game starting and the slow but horrifying realization of how badly she fucked up

i love madoka magica however i dont think we as a fandom talk enough about how tragic madoka herself is. probably because the narrative itself steers you away from thinking about her personally. shes not a character shes a desire that homura has, shes a force of good, shes homura's foil. but those are all madoka's narrative roles but madoka herself as a person is not really looked at because we are viewing this world from an unreliable narrator(homura) who only sees madoka as those things. The best thing homura could have done for madoka was give up on her, to let her go. because every time we go back in time the image of madoka is distorted, she loses more of herself every regression of homura's as she tries harder and harder to save her. We don't even know what madoka originally wished for to become a magical girl in the original timeline. and she actually acts quite differently than the madoka we meet. shes a lot more honest and caring and bold. by the time homura's has reached the actual anime madoka has been reduced by the sands of time to a figment of herself. she has no wants or desires of her own beyond wanting to do good and help her friends and when all her humanity is stripped away is when she finally acends to godhood because thats all thats left of her. an ideal and a faith in her. madoka kaname died a long time ago and all that is left is her ghost.

#of course homura doesnt care anymore because she cant go back she can only go forward cuz if she gives up she killed madoka for nothing #she could have left her pass away with dignity but now shes a ghost stuck in a web of time and the only thing she can do is keep trying #to save her #i feel like inately homura knows this but she doesnt want to admit to herself thats shes the real one who killed madoka kaname #this is a very charitable reading of homura #homura died too but its a clear moment because homura is our narrator #homura akemi will never come back madoka kaname will never come back #but life goes on anyway for homura #heres my truth #i loved rebellion but im actually a bigger fan of the original anime's ending so im glad it seems like red ribbon homu is coming back #i thought that ending was a lot more hopeful and beautiful and rebellion was kind of a downer but i always accepted they were parallel #and seems im right based on posters #for walpurgis #madoka uses one of my favorite literary devices which is the underuse of a character #i dont know whats it called but i love it when they dont outright develop a character usually to signal an upholding of the status quo #i already explained how madoka is not shown as a character but they do this in princess tutu too with mytho #mytho is a character from a book hes not real in the way that the others are and therefore cant actually change like the others can #hes always the focus of others and never the one thinking of others #i mean yeah he spends like the whole anime thinking about tutu but thats PART of his book its not him as a person #anyway ive been talking too much but i wanna bring up my favorite subtle use of this in takopi's original sin #the boy #idk his name rn lmao #hes straight up not present for the bulk of the manga and hes legit just absent from the ending scene despite being one point of a triangle #at first that weirded me out like??? he doesnt get closure???#but the reason was he didnt need it #the focus and moral is that those girls were 'weird' unable to be normal (because of trauma) and their closure was theyre at least together #but he doesnt need that because hes already normal hes the status quo a benchmark for the reader for the reader to judge the characters off #and the characters to judge eachother off of #anyway anyway sorry this has been so long #i had to get all of that out of me

Idk if I’m just incapable of writing straight characters or if the gods have just spoken through me but I’ve been writing one of my few straight girl characters and realizing more and more that this girl is gay af and it’s a problem cuz I’ve already got her whole arc planned out of the different guys she dates and her endgame guy and there’s really no room for a sensible gay awakening but I’m worried she might be a lesbian lmao

#the klock keeps ticking #cant remember shit about the show like the story arcs and shit #cuz i watched this show when i was like 16 and had trouble paying attention to anything at all #but decided i was gonna watch a few episodes for shits and i watched the apprentice episodes #hnnnghh it fucking ruled this show is awesome #like i truly cannot remember anything about slade like what his deal was what his motives are but god hes so good in this episode #hes creepy as fuck and like its just really satisfying how competent he is for a kids show villain #like he planted the evil torture devices in the gangs blood and he doesnt hesitate at all to push that button #i was expecting it to be like robin simply never fucked up bad enough to trigger the torture shit #or maybe like its revealed that it was all a lie to mess with him #but nah straight up robin hesitates to fucking shoot his friends and slade just instantly pushes the button and makes robin watch #AND THEN BLAMES HIM SAYING HOW THIS ALL HAPPENED CUZ HE DIDNT OBEY #and then the fucking part where slade is like ‘i was monitoring your endorphin levels i could tell you got excited when you stole’#DUUUUUDE #thats everything to me #and i like how the episode ends its very nice but initially i thought the blood torture devices were like bombs and that pushing the button #would mean instant death for the gang and like. okay imagine what i was cooking here #a controller for that would obviously have some sorta fail safe measure where if its destroyed the bombs go off so like you cant destroy it #and lets just say they didnt have a plot convenient way to remove the torture devices from the blood cuz that sounds kinda impossible tbh #what if like. the conclusion was robin obtains the controller so that he can take away slades power and leave him #but now hes just got the controller and he has this constant anxiety like what if he doesnt watch it and it goes off #what if the controller gets stolen or worse like. robin is in this position where he holds his friends lives in his hands #just like slade did. an evil reminder that he really is no different from slade what if he cant stop himself from pushing the button?#the episode ends with everything back to normal but then we see robin alone unsure with the controller locked away #and its just this looming presence for like the rest of the show or at least until slade is defeated and like robin has severe anxiety #over it he has nightmares of himself pushing the button he constantly double checks to make sure the controller is still there untouched #IMAGINE IMAGINE GUYS godddd i like need this fic now #sorry i got so caught up gushing about robin and this episode that i didnt even mention starfire aldkks i thinks shes adorable and autistic #and i would do anything for her and she and Robin are so cute i love them so much

#ace is a mess #student living #one of my flatmates is keeping her cat in her room without halls knowing which hasnt been an issue yet #she leaves her window open he comes and goes as he pleases and apparently hes known around the halls #today. im making garlic bread and someone knocks on the kitchen window scaring the sht out of me #i thought theyd forgotten their key and just needed letting in so i go round and nope #theyre like we think we let jasper into the wrong flat by mistake! cus they thought he lived in their block #im like oh thats fine he lives in the next room over this is his flat #cus im assuming that if both rooms next to eachother keep their windows open he might go in the wrong one every now and again #but as im talking his jumps out and comes through the front door and theyre like 'oh its all good now 😊' meanwhile im like oh no #cus i dont know what im supposed to do? what if he goes upstairs to the wrong flat? how am i supposed to corrall him?#so i just like ran after him immediately dropping the door on the girls. i was planning on just trying to get him to go back outside #instead i let him into the flat because he was insistent tbf to him he did go straight to his flat #i knocked on the girls door and she didnt answer and he meowed at me! so i knocked again he meowed at me some more #then just walked away! but our stupid kitchen door doesnt close properly so i had to snap the door closed and tell him to come back #the flatmate would not answer and he kept meowing at me so im just stood in the corridor arguing with a cat #like i dont know shes not answering i dont know what you want me to do i i dont have the key i cant let you in i dont think shes in #he just meowing at me and im laughing cus why am i talking to this cat like he understands? like i dont know what to do i cant not respond #in the end i was like you gotta go back outside and just go through the window. go go through your window #he was very cooperative tbf i do appreciate that but i could not help his owner would not open up i didnt have shoes or keys #so i couldnt guide him through the window or whatever idk ive never had a cat and its not my cat so like i dont know #i just wanted to make garlic bread man

to add onto lowkeyartist!sukuna, he most definitely pulls the same nonchalant act when people start speculating if he has a baby now.

After releasing a wedding photo where your face isn’t visble (he does not want you to face the brute force of fans, and you don’t as well) finally giving the public a glimpse of his now wife, he starts uploading his normal covers and new mixes around 3 months after but because you are still the hot topic people notice your absence. You’re out of his videos for a whole year, and people again start to speculate what is going on in Sukuna’s private life.

And because of how tempting the public can be to tease, he goes live again.

Question after question start, most are of you, again. But to make the mood start off hot, he answers questions about the wedding, “how was the wedding? It was good, was a bit nervous cause my wife and I spent months preparing, happy it all went good.”

He edges everyone watching, answering questions about you but not in too much detail, he knows what he’s doing, everyone watching too - he’s not answering the burning question: where are you?

“So, where is she? In the lounge, she’s probably watching,” he replies, trying to remain as relaxed as possible, “Show her to us? Nah, she’s busy right now,”

“Busy with what? My son,” you’re in the other room giggling to yourself, kissing your son’s cheek while his dad keeps up the act of a straight face. You know after it’s over, he’s going to come laugh with you and your new addition about it, like how he did before.

“Can we see him? No,” he laughs, “my wife would kill me if you guys were to ever see him.”

(After the live, he posted a picture of you and your son at the beach. Your son is in your arms and you both are facing away from the camera, he captions it with a heart and the internet buzzes like wildfire having finally caught a glimpse of Sukunas family)

Random Katsuki scenario:

“Have you noticed that Katsuki doesn’t yell anymore these days? It’s starting to freak me out” Eijiro asked Izuku as they watched Denki do something stupid that was bound to piss Katsuki off.

“Thank you! Im not the only one that noticed. I’m glad someone finally said it…. You know why that is though right??” He gave a questioning look to Kiri.

“I chucked it up to him getting older and maturing.”Eiji shrugs.

“Nope. It’s cuz of her.” And he nods his head over in your direction.

You’re standing a few feet away chatting with Mina, oblivious to everything else going on.

“Since he started dating Y/N it’s like his patience has skyrocketed exponentially. I don’t even think he notices.”

It was when they looked back at Denki wrapping his shoulders around Bakugo’s shoulders, that they noticed his face starting to turn pink, a tell tell sign that he was about to explode.

But before he actually goes off he glances up and sees your face and it’s almost instantaneous. He goes from being at 100 to being at 50.

Instead of blasting Kaminari to hell, he shoves his arm off of him, pushed him away, and spits a few curse words in his direction.

Then he’s making a straight beeline to you, interrupting your conversation with Mina and stealing you away. Most likely for a make out session before your next class.

“Do you think Y/N is a witch?? Like she put some type of spell on him?” E asks Izuku after they watch that whole thing transpire.

“Im not sure yet. My findings on her are inconclusive. Oh but I’ll find the truth. She has to have some STRONG magic😳”

*witchy Y/N is actually a fantastic idea.
