#pov u grow up in a 3rd world country(/planet) where healthcare workers are exported by the thousands like cheap produce to richer countries #it's your ticket out of poverty as long as you can deal with the loneliness the separation from everyone you know the discrimination etc #ive never talked about my hc that vespas mother was one of them sending money every month visiting every couple of years until it just stop #like why return to the swamps when youre doing fine working on a richer planet w much better living conditions #cost of living rises every year. sending home a % of your salary used to be enough to support your husband and daughter and then it isnt #you know how it goes #vespa is also dead set on this path until ranga realizes that hemorrhaging healthcare workers leaves them with little to none of their own #students on scholarships or in community/state universities are bound by return service agreements and are forbidden to leave the country #until theyve rendered a few years of work on ranga to pay back their tuition + as a really shitty solution to the brain drain problem #this is real in my country btw but my professors say a lot of ppl do break their rsa's and fucked off to work in other countries LOL #our state unis can barely afford decent facilities they do nottt have the budget to chase down their own alumni in other countries!#but the mental image is a bit funny #vespa ilkays first crime: tinakasan ang rsa #i do also think it lines up with her having a network of med friends everywhere in the galaxy (heart of it all) you kind of go into pre/med #expecting most of your classmates to leave to work in other countries eventually. mine are aiming for the usa / uae / europe / japan etc #anyway whether vespa breaks her rsa or not she leaves ranga asap decides to switch careers and the rest is history #i also deeply love the fact that she's superstitious i'm very sad it wasn't highlighted more (i've only heard s1-3)#as someone who did grow up in a rural area and went to more albularyos/folk healers than doctors in my childhood. #the klock keeps ticking #yttd #i wanna replay yttd so bad but i also like Gotta play other stuff with the time i have akskks #but yeah the brainrot this specific character has given me idk if I ever really talked about it but it was BAD #i like obsessively played the game in like 3 days and it was not a good idea lol but just like shin #i had to take like a week to recover from this guy cuz i couldnt stop thinking about him and how hes just like me fr #first off just the very inconsistent personality hes got going on that is very me he has these different personalities he wears to cope with #all the traumatic shit happening hes both so helpless its comical and so manipulative its terrifying #and idk its really interesting how like good and bad he is at being manipulative like hes very smart and can analyze weaknesses and lie so #good not even he knows the truth but hes also grasping at straws he doesnt think things through at all #like the second main game he just didnt prepare at all hes fumbling his way through everything its going so bad #he just wants to go home he wants to outdo the game makers but hes being used by them so bad he wants it to STOP #and its just the way that like. it hits so hard cuz you know hes really not a bad person not at all he doesnt want any of this hes just #being horribly manipulated and doing whatever he can to survive but its also really scary how #well hes able to lie and manipulate and claw his way through but hes also weaker than a grade schooler #and you never forget that either and as much as he cheated his way through he still failed it was all just a cheap trick in the end #and all of this hits very hard like his personality is eerily similar to mine and just the way he thinks and acts #cuz im the same like im weak and a dweeb who likes funny cats but im also emotionally detached and observant and selfish #but where it hits the hardest is his relationship with midori like oooof that one was too real just like #the first person who was ever his friend was horribly abusive and treated him like a child and didnt respect any boundaries #and he just got sick pleasure out of seeing shin be upset and he was like. a groomer #and shin was fucking relieved when he died but also kept his scarf and adopted his personality to survive #and still goes by sou after ch2 and the scene that gets me the most is when shin ai is asked about his relationship with midori #and you can just SEE how horrified shin is because his deepest shame his abuse is being shared to everyone without his consent #and hes reliving it all in that moment and literally seeing who he used to be experiencing the abuse #he just curls into himself and like covers his ears and pulls his hair thats literally what i do AAAAAA #im just so grateful for the direction they took this character kokichi ouma wishes he was shin tsukimi so bad #and yeah just like damn. its scary how similar i am to shin like damn i really am going through it huh oof #I LOVE HIM I LOVE HIM I WILL DEFEND HIM WITH MY LIFE HE DID ALL OF THAT STUFF YOUR HONOR BUT LISTENNNN #have you considered that hes cute and smart and weird and maybe just needs friends who arent assholes

#migraine buddy helpfully showed me my midas score which puts me in severely disabled bc of my migraines based on their impact #which on one hand was helpful in a sense of like. hey dude. these things fuck you up and have a huge impact and jts a thing #most peiple dont have to deal with. but also was like. god yeah i sure am and also i sure am still working full time and having to just.#work thru them and cope bc i certainly cant afford to have less money #its so fuckin i furiating being disabled in the us. i cant stop working bc then ill loose my healthcare which still costs me so much money #scream. tired.#my PA for nurtec was denied bc my ins wants me to try a diff one first #which is stupid bc like one why do u get to override my dr for your budget.#why does my healthcare need to suffer because youre cheap. you arent living with this shit.#and also the alternatives they suggested are injection based which. is scary for me as someone who used to have a terrible needle phobia #jax is able to help me w them which is good bc i know i cant give myself them (maybe could do the auto injectors but idk)#but its still so. why are u like thia. also it took u so long to deny my PA and im on no preventatives rn waiting for Something #to be approved. ugh. scream.

#or.. recent ISH.. this was still a few months ago lol #photo diary #EEEee... it's like over 45 minutes away from where I live but I finally found an arcade to go to that's not like entirely in the city and #is less busy. I went like the second they opened at 11:55am on a tuesday while school was still in. So there was basically no other people #there aside from like 5 staff. + wearing high quality KN95 mask and limiting my time there to under 1hr..#Also this was before the current summer covid surge happening since June in the US. so... I got to do One Single safe activity for once lol #skee ball my beloved.....#I actually don't like a lot of arcade games so I basically just spent 70% of the time doing skeeball ghjbjh #But I did weirdly like that pearl themed machine.. even though its one of those foolish games where you just drop items #and hope that they build up enough to let coins fall. like very boring not skill based or etc. But the Aesthetics of it.. I was drawn #to.. I wanted to crack the glass open and harvest the smooth white orbs from inside.. it would have been even cooler if they were #actually pearlescent in some way. but the round bubbly design and the blue and white water and shell theme entranced me #I love air hockey also but this machine was really flat and weird. like not enough air was pumping and the puck was very cheap and flimsy #An afterschool daycare place I went to once as a child had an air hockey machine that they would allow kids limited use to sometimes #and the air was always BLASTING up from the table so much that you could lay on it and it was like being hit by a slight breeze. and the #puck was very hefty and more of a satisfying clunk when you shot it around. I mastered skee ball with two arms #where I would load up a game on two machines right next to each other and throw one ball with my left hand to the left machine and one #with my right to the other and still got an okay ish score on both lol. But I do forget arcades can be very sensory overwhelming like #bright lights and noises and stuff.. walking past every blinking machine chirping at me like SHUT UP I'm trying to get to SKEE BALL #leave me ALONNEE. ghjhb... ANYWAY.. other stuff.. some images of clouds as usual.. a quaint little breakfaste #of eggs. pickled onions. grapes strawberries. and some turkey bacon. Also ofcourse Cat In Weird Position image.#he's always sitting with his legs stretched out funny #I kind of hate arcades on principle since much is a waste of money and time and many games are rigged (especially claw games) where #theres like some Illusion of Skill but so much of it is just random. I simply do not have the patience for that sort of thing. And usually #all the stuff you can win is bad anyway. BUT I also love active games.. if there was a place where I could JUST play skee ball. ddr.#air hockey. and like games where you have to aim at stuff (shooting games. wack a mole. etc.) then I would go there instead.#Active Games Only arcade. It bothers me sometimes to have to walk past all the scammy games to get to the decent ones lol..#Begone.. Dresses that are nice but they're only made to fit you if you're 5'5 T____T

#tried on THE CUTEST dress in a medium but the waist was too high up and the skirt wasnt long enough #tried a large then and the waist was too big and the skirt STILL wasnt long enough!!#its the kind of style of dress that's supposed to cover like half your knees. and it didnt. blah #always the cutest dresses that are like long flowy and psychedelic that i like are like that #i did get a nice little green velvet victorian/swingin sixties jacket oh it was SUCH a success tho #i always have good luck with tops but dresses. ugh #i can only wear MINI dresses. bc a mini skirt is supposed to be short on you no matter what #medium-length dresses i have the worst luck with. im not even that tall im 5'7.#tales from diana #there's something weird about the black jeans from old navy #i bought two pairs of jeans at old navy in march of last year. the flare jeans are a size 4 and fit amazing #theyre like stretchy but not cheap and extremely comfy. theyre a typical denim blue #then i also got a straight-leg pair of black jeans. the black jean material is just not right anymore. it's extremely stiff #i know old navy mustve changed their sizes bc i have pants from them that are 5-10 years old (since i stopped growing)#and theyre all different sizes. like. i have old navy pants that are a snug 12 or a loose 4. but it was at least consistent at the time #i was trying on black flare jeans and i had to get an 8. i went in wearing THE SAME jeans i bought back in march #same CUT and everything. and even tho im tall the pants are still longer than what im used to #(im also used to my jeans being somewhat short on me) (so i dont mind it) (its more like they just cover the top of my foot)#the waist. bc i got two sizes up (old navy doesnt do odd number sizes for some reason). it like goes WAY up my waist #tho i dont mind that. im glad we're living in a high-waisted bootcut era. GRATEFUL #but still yeah.#the black jean fabric is just so stiff it's harder to squeeze yourself into even if it fits in the other color denim. u needa size up.#i went shopping w my friend (and kaily) (and our mom) (and then we went out to lunch after) bc i wanted to get her some pants #she's like 5'2 and all the pants were too long on her i felt bad. i bought her some sweaters and shoes #the sweaters were clearance only $6 i was like oh i have no problem getting those for u #still i felt bad bc they didnt have petite sizes in that store. like when she asked they were like 'no only if someone returns'#some other time we'll go to marshall's or tjmaxx >:F

OT1 isn't a bad game, but OT2 is objectively better in every way imo, and you don't really need to know anything about the first one to play it. If you plan on playing both of them either way, maybe start with OT1 bc it'll feel a lot clunkier if you do it the other way around, since OT2 has a lot of QOL improvements that OT1 doesn't have (like the 3x battlespeed, more varied animations and chapters and fully voiced cutscenes, for example). The characters in both are fun though. OT1 follows the archetypes of the main cast more closely, while OT2 usually tries to subvert them a little more, they're all very charming in their own way!

Anyway sorry for the long ask, but yeah I personally like octọpath a lot, and highly recommend checking it out! If you've got any doubts about whether or not you'd like it, both OT1 AND OT2 have demos you can play first! It's pretty neat

#random thoughts #my ideal fnaf sunandmoon fic which i will never write because that's where i draw the line #is one in which yn doesn't think sun and moon are. sentient. at first.#and by at first i mean for a large chunk of the story #like yeah he's a robot! he's a very sophisticated piece of ai of course he's gonna be lifelike #sun and moon are designed to learn and adapt and they can SEEM very human but it's important to remember they are not alive #but they still treat sun and moon decently because? why wouldn't they?#like sun and moon are constantly learning ai. it's important to model proper behavior so they know how they and others should act #specifically among freddy's staff! if sunandmoon don't know how staff SHOULD behave then they have no frame of reference #for what behavior should be reported or how sunandmoon are SUPPOSED to act around staff for maximum efficiency #if you get mad at the robot for being damaged and they're designed to entertain #they're not gonna want to tell you next time they get damaged and you can't just rely on scans and weekly examinations #because scans miss things and some damage is too severe to wait for their next examination #in an ideal setting you WANT the animatronics to be able to communicate openly with you because THEY are a tool for their OWN repair #THEY can recognize what is damaged VERY WELL #and if it's a software issue then you need to be able to read their BEHAVIOR. body language and shit #and if sunandmoon are CONSTANTLY ON EDGE AROUND STAFF you're not gonna be able to see a base body language to go off of #also constant stress is bad for machines. like running the same commands over and over again until overheating. bad for babey #and of COURSE they're gonna help around the daycare!!! THE DAYCARE ATTENDANT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE A REPLACEMENT FOR HUMAN WORKERS #the daycare attendant is a GIMMICK. a NOVELTY. a TOOL meant for the use of the human daycare attendants #a forever playmate who remembers every detail about every child under their care? who never tires and isn't affected by cleaning chemicals?#they're so USEFUL! a supplement to the human daycare attendant!#like a swiss army knife of rainy day games and orange slices #it's a horrible shame the owners of the pizzaplex got cheap and stopped hiring human daycare attendants to save on labor #because the daycare attendant works best when they have someone else's behavior to model. otherwise it gets caught in a loop #which constantly degrades and simplifies. like recording a recording over and over again until all you can hear is white noise #of COURSE something bad was gonna happen!#and sunandmoon don't really have any opinion on this besides agreeing because they ARE an animatronic.#sunpots and moonpans
