i have these pmd OCs ived played through every game as (excluding gates to infinity). the idea being they reincarnate every once in a while and are destined to save the world together as partners, kinda soulmates who find each other in every life core. :)

the human is always a girl turned into a Pikachu named Frannie (Francis). and Mew reincarnates as a Squirtle named Kai (Aukai) their personalities change with each life, sometimes theyre just besties, sometimes its /romantic

my favorite series of games were the Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky, so it gets my fave incarnation of the two lol. i try to have their personalities match with how the characters act in the game, so Frannie in this life is selectively mute, Kai has a knack for understanding what she's trying to say and usually translates for everyone. Kai's a bit cowardly, bit of a bookworm, yearns for adventure, and discovers his courage alongside his friend. Frannie's brave, dives into danger, and naturally takes to leadership of their rescue team. in my little doodle, i figured Kai took a hit to protect Frannie and she's kinda frustrated at him for doing that, knowing she can take care of herself, but he just wants to keep his friend safe. ;___; <3

sooooooo when i jokingly said to myself "haha did ruan mei play aeonic necromancy on tingyun's remains or something" i wasn't expecting that to literally be the case what the fuck

HELLO???????????????????????????????????#that was a really good update . a little clunky in those transitions sometimes but ooooh boy that came together GOOD #jiaoqiu nearly sent me into hysterics i was so upset . and flabbergasted. mostly flabbergasted #also the part where hoolay let him go for a little bit and you had the option to try asking for help #with severe consequences to be reaped afterwards. that was so nervewracking #i ended up doing it once out of curiosity and immediately regretted it and was horribly anxious the rest of the time i was running around #and yeah those consequences sure do. Consequence #props to the writers and stuff for that one that was great i felt ill #FEIXIAO... GOD FEIXIAOOOOO OHHHH BOY I LOVE HERRR what a great character #i hoped and i prayed and i dreamed for a deep dive into her condition and not a vague gloss-over as hyv loves to do AND I GOT IT #moze didn't do enough tricks (aka just . being a part of the story and interacting with other characters) for me to care about him still #it's like #the yaoqing trio: yay yahoo yippee WOOOO YAYYYY #moze by himself: closes my eyes forever #DO MORE TRICKS FOR ME #lingsha's pretty cool. i will save her from her bad design #oh oh oh YANQING!!!!!!!!!! #Hatsune Miku #VOCALOID #or rather #piapro characters #Hatsune Miku Single String Ver.#<- yep that's the fan module I made for fun last year #the thing is. only half a month to go until it's mid autumn. and every year I try to draw something for the occasion #I just. started early this year... for some reason......#well I mostly just wanna draw Her lmao. because the pokemon/miku voltage stuff is still being released and Im feelin the effect #and this year's magical miral design is so fuckign good.... thank u to miku artists. especially LAM and rella #as is always the case with this module the instrument/weapon (lol) she uses is a heavily stylized đàn bầu!#and I just realized while drawing this and looking at the ref sheets that I never detailed the pluck lmao #to be fair. usually its just like a piece of. anything #commonly bamboo or bone or plastic. shaped into a longish fingernail shape. its really the way u hold it that matters iirc #but yeah I spruced up the OG design for the instrument in this one lol. this is actually like my original vision I think #I really wanted to make that thing beast shaped. but I Just figured out how to properly stylize it when I designed the module #and! I did say this on stream but I am genuinely very proud of that design! that was genuinely big brain of me! so #future instrument variants will still probably base heavily on that general shape and principles lol. I'm playin in this space its MY muck #also I switched the number on her coat from 39 to 01 bc it's more on theme thats really it. nothin else to remark on there lol #and! once again based the dragon head on the lý dynasty dragon rather than later iterations. thats why the nose fin and no whiskers #and the metal nozzle is kinda supposed to call to mind a temple bell. not super sure i got that across well #but the rim design IS historical! I thiiiink early lê dynasty. just on ceramics instead of on bronze lmao #anyways thats it. I had fun colorin this one! kicked my ass a bit but I think I hashed it out mostly okay #have a good night lads! thank u mid autumn moon cakes for being bad to eat and sponsoring my late night drawin. and remember:#u only need one. but never say having more doesn't make it easier

I like selling prints because I get to use my nice printer (which I love to do) and I especially love selling custom panel prints, because then I get to see people's favorite panels from my comic, which is double nice...

The most fun items to pack are the merch bundles which are themed with my books, I LOVE coming up with packaging design like this so much...

But my favorite design has gotta be one of these... Probably the patch, there.

It's really hard for me to pick!

I actually genuinely just am really passionate about product design and merch themeing, it's not only extremely fun for me but it also just really engages my brain. I love coming up with items that fit a theme, and there's no theme I love more than my own comics haha

So there's not much I could enjoy more! That's why I chose to do a merch club on patreon, it lets me get out my merch-y feelings but without overloading my storefront... Plus it's just really fun for me! I get to experiment, make little packages, and enjoy making new things.
