One of my goals for this year is to learn at least one thing every month. It’s also my goal to improve my designing skills. So I tried using Canva. Canva is a useful online tool to help you design various content for your website and social media. It’s actually quite easy to use. You just have to sign up for an account (or use your Facebook login details) and you can start creating! Canva has free resources to help you get started, like free images, layout, fonts, icons, and many more. It’s handy for people who are not proficient in Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator. You can choose your layout (or create your own) and drag and drop images and add text. You can also upload your own images. When you’re satisfied with your design, you can download the final file.

I have created an IG account (@paulocoelhodaily) and my goal is to post one inspirational message I’ve read from Paulo Coelho’s novels everyday. I’m on Day 3 now. So far, all posts on that account are created using Canva. The logo, on the other hand, I created using Photoshop.

Work in progress. I'm at a loss at what to give to, uh, acquaintances (for lack of a better term) for Christmas. The past few months hasn't really been good to me (read: I haven't been good to myself). So I just decided to make a calendar ref magnet. I used photos I took of origami models I made.
