Do you have any tips on painting vest or clothes in general?

short answer is no i genuinely just wing everything and hope it works out

long answer

after adding a base color, i airbrush the lower part with a darker color like a gradient, and then i sculpt in some rather sharp, triangular shapes that follow the natural curve of the body or that meet at the pressure points like the buttons of a vest for example or the armpits/shoulders/boobs/elbows/crotch/knee joints etc in general. I also think about gravity and the material of the fabric and, depending on its thickness, i paint in more or less folds. I sometimes also like to add a tone curve on top and mess it uppppp really good for some nice subtle hue variation. If that doesn't work out i just paint it in myself... alsoo, i try to overlap the folds and have some edge control as in, i don't paint every single fold with a sturdy brush, i let some of them ambiguous by blending the edges where they meet or straight up blurring them out im really not the best at painting clothes, i know what to do in theory, but it's a struggle for me as well so i don't know if im the best person to ask about this tbvh with u anon

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

The greatest injustice ever faced is that I almost certainly started the still thriving "clown husbandry" tag on here, but any discussion about it (from a know your meme page to a youtube video with 500k views) says it's a joke of "unknown origin" or credited to this post, likely bouncing off of mine (which was actively circulating at the time with like 30k notes):

This is a tragedy for many reasons, most of all because it wasn't just an offhand joke but actually a direct response to some of the funniest online hate I ever got:

They're erasing the truest history of tumblr: its desperate need to seethe and argue over every obvious joke with more than 10 notes.

anon, I am so sorry and I mean this in the best way, but I do think episode 5 is the absolute funniest place to have stopped following Twst because shit starts escalating SO fast after that. episode 6 literally starts with a secret government shadow agency breaking down our doors and kidnapping students. zero to a million instantly.

and like...that's not even the zaniest thing so far? Ortho's hacked into the collective human unconscious. there's time travel (sort of). "Crowley might be Malleus' long-lost father" is a serious theory. if you'd told me any of this back pre-episode 6, I would have asked for the link to this unbelievable but highly intriguing fanfic.
