FAZGANGG ROLL OUT ( FNAF MOVIE RAMBLES + EASTER EGGS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ) PT 1
MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD ! ! ! !
ok first off i cant put into text or words about how i fucking insane i am about this movie so uhm ahahaha im not gonna or i might explode my head off and end up looking like cc's foxy's plush. THIS MOVIE WAS THE MOST LOVINGLY LOVING LOVE LETTER TO THE FANBASE AND I COULD NOT BE MORE NUTS ABOUT IT
SO IM GONNA WRITE ABT ALL THE LIL EASTER EGGS I NOTICED DURING MY WATCH OF THE MOVIE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( many more rewatches to come )
UPDATE : PICS ADDED ! ! !
MATPAT AND CORYXKENSHIN CAMEOS ( NO MARKIPLIER D: )
do i even have to say anything about this??
MATPAT SERVING THEORIES SO HARD HE GOT HIRED AS A WAITRESS
CORY BREAKING ANKLES AS AN UBER DRIVER
the theater went ballistic yeah
SPARKY THE DOG CAMEO / FINALLY CANON LOL
MAN OH MAN WHATT I DDID NOT EXPECT THIS ONE.
In the movie we get a full glimpse of a disassembled sparky suit in parts in service -> max gets stuffed inside this suit later on or a suit next to sparky
the diner that matpat works at is also called Sparky's ( lol foreshadowing )
this is still pretty unreal to me.
FNAF BOOK LORE PLAYS A BIG PART IN THE STORY
There's a scene towards the end of the movie where Abby is hiding from foxy and runs to hide behind some arcade games -> reference to the sequence where Foxy is chasing Charlie in the silver eyes (lighting is almost one on one too)
The animatronics realize they're getting manipulated by afton /spring bonnie when Abby shows them the truth through a drawing depicting spring bonnie's true nature -> reference to Carlton showing the dead children that spring bonnie / afton is their enemy through drawing spring bonnie as their killer
CARL THE CUPCAKE
i just find it kinda funny that the guy eaten alive by cupcake was named carl seeing as how carl was cupcake's fanon name
also he can defy gravity too ig
THE SHIRT CARL ( ONE OF THE GOONS WHO CAME TO TRASH THE PLACE ) IS WEARING HAS A PRINT OF FNAF 6'S DRIVING MINI GAME
Chica's magic rainbow from FNAF world gets its own branded ice cream parlor chain :
EVERYTHING ABOUT ABBY HANGING OUT WITH THE FAZGANG.
Spaghetti and Pizza analogy
this one is a bit more obvious but I like how its used as away to illustrate how mike had to choose giving up abby or cc ( i refuse to call him garrett he is either evan or chris. )
Hospitalized Vanessa Theory
Now that Vanessa is hospitalized could she be filling the roles of cc or mike in fnaf 4 ( mainly cuz of hospital hallucinations )-> shes traumatized by the animatronics and could hallucinate back to her days in the hospital ( if she wakes up or if its a dream sequence or something not sure ) ; also could also work since she's afton's daughter
LIVING TOMBSTONE END CREDITS LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
point where i died in the theater and ascended
so yeah yk id say the trap was sprung successfully
I am the most normal about this movie

Boo!
Mwahahahaha scaring the souls out of genshin characters with horror games (It's only a few FNAF jumpscares lmao)
Reader knows lots of fnaf lore and talks about it because if you didn't have a FNAF hyperfixation how did you survive as a kid???
sagau ig??? could just be an isekai situation idrc
Characters: Hu Tao, Xiao, Albedo
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Everyone who has met you within Teyvat have noticed something. You always tend to have this, small and thin box like thing with you. Oh, what did you call it again? A.. "phone"! Right.
Though most of them are perplexed by how it could possibly operate, they don't believe they could figure it out anytime soon. But they are always so interested in it when to use it! You can message people within seconds, do work, ask questions on the Inter-something.. and you can play games? What kind of games? They wondered what type of things like that would interest you.
Puzzles, online card games, what they weren't thinking of was something called FNAF. You rambled on about the lore of it every once in a while, so they though it was some sort of book series. But a horror game? Not what they were thinking.
Hu Tao would honestly love it.
Jumpscares? Scary?? No, its top tier humor to her. Tries to speedrun multiple games with you. Is actually quite good with most of the mechanics in all the game. (unlike me) Obsesses over game four and the nightmares, probably because a lot of people think its one of the scariest games. She's all "What do you mean scary? This is fun! :D" And if she ever got to meet Evan, she'd just fire him questions about the nightmares as if the boy wasn't absolutely traumatized by them.
If you own any of the books, she would get even more into it. Listens to every word you say about it, now you both obsess over the same thing.
I can see most characters disliking FNAF for its horror aspect, and yk all the murder and death, but her? Invested. I would totally take her to the FNAF movie when it comes out. 10/10
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Xiao would have such a monotone reaction.
"This is what people find fearful?"
Unimpressed would be an understatement. Now, that whole disappointed act fades away the moment you actually force him to play one of the games.
He's... ok at the game. Not anything incredibly good. You'd think that with his unimpressed attitude he'd be really good and chill and just call it easy, but no. Once he actually has to focus on the game? It would be impossible to distract him. His eyes are glued to that screen. Ain't no animatronic jumpscaring him today, no sir.
He won't allow himself to lose. If he does though? He wouldn't rage quit or anything, just a small frustrated sigh and a restart of the game. The more he loses though, the more it would get on his nerves. If he dies over 4 times in the same game he'd just hand your device back to you and just vanish.
Will absolutely lose his shit over balloon boy though. (me too) That little annoying guy comes up and steals his batteries, and suddenly the games in your hand and some random nearby hilichurls are going to meet a very bloody fate.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Albedo is the no. 1 theorist out of them all.
I daresay that this man could debate with MatPat himself. May or may not have figured out almost half the lore by himself. He could be the next big game theorist. But other than memorizing every detail of the lore by memory, he's really good at the games.
He really enjoys the Sister Location game and Security Breach. Mostly because of their different gameplays, since they're very different than the other games. Also because of the lore. He loves the lore.
You thought that you rambled a lot about FNAF? Watch that title be taken away from you by none other than that blonde alchemist. Now YOU'RE listening to him excessively talk about a new theory he came up with about game 1 and 2. Now he's somehow beaten you in your own fixation.
Will constantly trash talk William, intentionally or not. His face turns to one of slight distaste when what he's talking about has William in it. Absolutely hates the guy. I mean, most people do, but he's now Albedo's worst (fictional) enemy. Who he is really interested in? Sun and Moon. if he had to pick a favorite game, it would be Security Breach. Genuinely wants to know the different programming between the two, what cues are used to change them when the lights are on/off, etc etc.
a/n: STOP IMAGINE ALBEDO ACTUALLY ARGUING WITH MATPAT OR MAKING A RESPONSE VIDEO TO ONE OF HIS THEORIES

Mechanised Devotion (Part 4) ~Steve Raglan/William Afton x Female Reader~
~You're all so lovely honestly, and honestly I know we are all simping over large hot killer man, but who gives a fuck but it is so fun to write! I hope that you enjoy this part as well, sorry for some more slow burn :). Also, enjoy some animatronic fluff cause why not?~
Tag List!: @ruh--roh-raggy @likoplays
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3
CW: Minors DNI, (18+ ONLY), afab reader, legal age gap (Reader- 20's, William - 40's), mention of crimes and violence, blood, mentions of child death (it's FNAF, what did you expect?), past trauma; abusive relationships. Nicknames, degredation.
For the past three nights you had been attempting to call Steve Raglan.
However, it never seemed to go anywhere but to the voicemail, hearing his warm, but tired voice saying to leave a message after the tone and he would get back to you as soon as he could. That felt like an utter lie as you hung up the phone for the fifth time that day to call him. Looking at the clock with somewhat despair as you realised it was time to make the long walk back to Freddy's once again.
Despite what had happened, you had been unable to get ahold of Steve to tell him about it, and the thought of being in that pizzaria filled you with dread. Somehow, you had managed to make it for three more nights, and tonight was your last shift of the week.
You'd figured out a few things since you arrived.
Freddy and the yellow one you recognised as Chica now seemed to be somewhat 'friendlier' than the others. Freddy would move quite early on in the night and had taken to peering into the little window of your office door to make sure you were okay, taking up residence at the end of the hallway and watching as you came in and out. You'd also noticed your drawing you gave to him roughly tacked up behind the stage when you made your initial inspection for the night, which made you smile despite your rapidly beating heart.
Chica seemed somewhat confused at first, she kept dropping off items outside your door like some demented robotic delivery service. Sometimes it was a surprisingly in-date bag of chips, but most of the time it had gone out of date in the nineties. You felt bad, wondering whether it was programming gone haywire.
Foxy remained an asshole, he liked to stare at you through the window and drag the hook along the door, trying to catch the handle and let himself inside. You'd brought one of those sticks that sits under the handle and acts as a heavy duty door stop, which seemed to deter him somewhat, although you weren't sure with how heavy they surely were that it would truly buy you any time if any of them decided you'd met your time.
Sometimes you would draw instead of doing your homework and checking the cameras, placing them against the glass so the animatronics would see. You made a point to keep one of Foxy being mean to you on you incase he lingered too long at your door and you needed to get out for a few moments to use the bathroom. For whatever reason, it seemed to make him move on after staring at it with the one intact eye, eyepatch and ears moving before it was almost like he stomped off in a huff.
You had managed to make the job somewhat easier for yourself, but it didn't mean you wanted to continue working in a restaurant filled with malfunctioning robots with at least a minor penchant for violence.
Coming through the door, you noticed how eerily silent it was. Pulling back the thick red velvet curtain and waving at the animatronics cautiously. You hadn't really seen Bonnie around that much, but you were quick to spot the slight flicker of their lids and a faint creak of limbs as it seemed they powered up, waiting to roam around the open space. You even stopped by Pirate's Cove and opened the curtain slightly, jumping as you found Foxy leant forwards and mouth agape, almost at your head height. Hand over heart as you tried to calm down your nerves, you found yourself breathing heavily.
"Asshole." you muttered, blowing a strand of hair out of your face before you headed to the office again. Planting the door stop under the handle and securing it. Glancing at the monitors as you flicked on the breaker, you gave a satisfied nod as they came on as expected. Sitting at your chair and keeping an intense eye on the animatronics as you waited for them to start their fuckery.
But as the first hour crawled by, you began to worry. Even cautiously peeking out of your door and checking for one of the mascots. Nothing.
Something felt off.
Stepping back into the office, you noticed one of the cameras was down suddenly, making you frown. The cameras were ancient, sure, but you had never seen one receive 'no signal' like that, and part of you wanted to go and check what it was that had made it play up but a creeping, cold feeling in your stomach told you to stay where you were. Safe. Or at least, relatively so.
Steve Raglan, or rather, the man who pretended to be Steve Raglan had slipped inside the pizzeria in the earlier hours of the afternoon. And he had waited oh-so-patiently for his prey to wander in obliviously into his trap. He'd been monitoring you for days, growing irritated as you called and called, but he wasn't about to give you the satisfaction of answering. He knew you would quit before he even had a chance to turn on the charm and sweet-talk you into continuing, and honestly, he was intrigued how you managed to figure out that drawings helped to control the animatronics.
Or it was simply a clever, clever fluke.
But as he ran his gloved fingers over the knife in his hands, he grinned under the mask, none of it mattered in that moment. You were about to be his, and his stupid child had failed in her duties once again. Something pitiful about getting shot on the job and having to take medical leave. His hand automatically moved to where his collar usually covered and thought of the scars that would be there, how painful it had been when they had been inflicted on him so many years ago, but he had managed to go to work the next day still. He blamed Vanessa's mother for her weakness.
Stalking through the blind-spots of the cameras, he made his way towards the office, his footsteps light despite the heavy suit around his body. He felt his heart pounding in his broad chest, and if his eyes were visible, he was sure they would have almost been pinpricks as the adrenaline coursed through his veins. Carefully peeking in, he noticed your intense concentration on the cameras and tried the handle quietly. Pausing as it didn't fall open, confused as to why it wasn't budging. Peering back in, he could just make out the door jam, and this time he really swore. Adrenaline mixing with fury that you would spoil his reveal like that.
Moving away like a shadow, he searched around for an alternative. He was growing impatient. He wanted to break you. The doors were all locked up and he had the key at the moment, you never stood a chance of escaping from him. But there was a begrudging respect that you had managed to think of something so stupidly simple that it never occurred to him.
As he turned the corner into one of the staff corridoors, he spotted a solution and grinned coldly.
You were soon going to be his.
~~ It was around 4am when your head snapped up, looking towards the door as you swore you saw something moving nearby from the corner of your eye. A chill sliding down your spine like an ice-cube as the feeling of being watched suddenly came over you.
Then you heard it, it was faint at first, but grew louder as you paused and tried to place the noise. It was the sound of something heavy moving, but it wasn't like the usual footsteps you heard outside your door when Freddy and Co. moved around, this was something...odd. Echoey almost.
After another few moments, you realised it was definately movement, and looked around for the source, before spotting a vent with the cover missing on the floor next to you. Cautiously, you grabbed your flashlight and knelt down besides it, straining to listen as you tried to think what could be making the noise.
'Probably just a rat.' you thought to yourself. About to stand up before you spotted two white eyes glowing out of the dark, coming around a bend in the vent, moving slowly, painfully forwards with a soft 'shush' of fabric moving across metal.
Hands trembling, you flicked on your flashlight and felt yourself choke on your breath as the yellow and damaged features of an animatronic came into view. The fur matted and slightly broken in some places, eyes half-lidded and blank as they stared at you. crawling itself through the small space towards your office.
You dropped the light and screamed as a distorted laugh emanated from the creature. The man inside the suit savoured the sound with a delighted shudder, his heart pounding harder in his chest as he managed to pull himself out head first into the office. His massive frame slow to rise as he unfurled himself to reveal his nearly 7ft height in the Spring Bonnie costume. Not that you knew it's name. Nor did you really know his.
Scrambling for the door, you tried to prize away the door jam, but your fingers kept slipping and unable to turn it so it could release. Body shaking as your own adrenaline worked overtime to try and help you escape. But a heavy weight against your back suddenly slamming into you took your breath away and left your hands trapped against the solid door.
The pressure moved, and you felt a heavy hand pressing against the back of your neck, pinning you by your throat as you tried to reach back and grip the thick animatronic fingers holding you in place.
At the edge of your vision, you saw the expressionless face with an almost skeletal grin come into view. Those white eyes burning into your mind as you saw the other hand come into view, bringing up a wickedly sharp knife with it. Seeing it, you burst into tears, hot and salty and they streamed down your face and it became hard to breathe from the pressure and as your nose and throat became sticky with mucus. Nails scraping into the fur behind and the wood of the door, feeling splinters ripping up into your fingers as you tried to make your desperate escape.
You sobbed harder as a wheezing laugh came from the suit.
"Such a pretty little cry-baby." The crackling voice cooed, bringing the knife closer and running it across your cheek, making you shake and flinch, drawing a little blood across your skin. You swore you almost felt the thing shudder as it watched the crimson welt up against your flesh, mixing with your tears and dripping off of your chin into the white of your blouse.
The knife moved from your face to your back, running across your ribs and making your heart flutter wildly like a bird trying to escape from a cage, the sharp edge catching the delicate fabric before it sat at the base of your neck, just under its hand, threatening to thrust the tip into your spine and leave you dead or paralysed.
"You almost ruined my fun, little thing," It hissed, coming in closer and watching her expressions with almost a sense of delight about it. The jaw creaking open slightly and turning the grin menacing as it tilted it's head to one side. You swore you almost heard it breathing, like it was smelling your hair as it pressed in close again, the weight of its body against your back and forcing the knife to pierce your skin. It spoke again, low and crackling as if the voice inside was broken. "what did you need a lock for? Hm? Were you scared you'd get hurt?"
The questions were almost mocking, the voice distorting and moving somewhere between all too human and robotic. Sobbing harder as you couldn't find the breath to suck into your lungs. You didn't know that the man behind you was shaking in excitement. From the thrill of having you trapped and pinned, crying so hard you might pass out and already bleeding for him.
Suddenly it spun you around, slamming its large hand across your throat and lifting you slightly, your toes barely able to keep on the floor as your eyes widened in panic. Clutching at the hand and arm as your instincts told you to fight. To survive.
"Fucking answer me when I ask you a question!" It snarled, slamming your head against the door and making you see stars as you gasped for breath. Feeling the back of your head become sticky and warm, running down your back and through the animatronic fingers. Distorting the colour.
"To...To keep freaks...like you.. OUT" you sobbed, shouting as loudly as you could with the metal crushing your windpipe, your foot coming up and slamming against the arm holding the knife. Feeling something crunch under your foot as you were slightly surprised that you managed to bring your leg up that high.
But the thing dropped you, grunting as it moved back for a moment. This time though, it brought the left hand up to right forearm and made an all-too-human gutteral scream as it doubled over. You watched in horror as blood poured from between the rotting cracks in the suit, and your face paled as you realised that there was somebody under the mascot suit.
Steve Raglan under the suit was pissed. He had been having such fun making you cry and sob, and he hadn't thought about your legs being free. The pain of the springlocks digging into his arm made his nerves light up, his hand clenching and unclenching as he made sure it could still move. Knowing he was going to have to spend time digging the barbed hooks out of his flesh for hours afterwards. His head snapped back up, intending on killing you for your disobedience.
But your hands had managed to work the door jam and you had made a run for it. Leaving behind all your stuff as you fled the building, not caring to look back or even attempt to grab it as you fled from the psycho in the yellow bunny suit.
Your lungs burned, and your eyes remained misted as you burst into the cool night air outside and continued to run down the main road. You weren't sure where you were going, but it was anywhere, anywhere but Freddy's where those silver eyes watched you with a dark, burning passion as you fled from him.

"do NOT ask me about ggy or patient 46 because i WILL begin ranting"
You see, I am incapable of ever listening to anyone, ever, so I must ask about GGY and patient 46
I have absolutely no knowledge of modern FNaF lore; I have not read any of the books (something I plan to fix whenever my bank account stops bleeding) so you're gonna have to do some heavy lifting here and tell me all about it
Ooh boy rubs my hands together
okay so im gonna start with ggy because i love Tony and Ellis. (i dont have the book in front of me tho so this isnt gonna be 100% every detail)
GGY is about a kid named Tony Becker who has an assignment in his 6th grade english class. He has to write a fictional mystery with side plots that tie into the main plot. He chooses to do this with his two friends. They use pen names whenever they do their english projects together (sobs and wails and cries into my hands) and Tony picked Tarbell, and his friends were Boots and Dr. Rabbit (or Rab for short).
Tony wants to start working on their project, but Boots and Rab want to go to the fazcade. Tony gives in when rab backs up boots (tony sees boots as immature and worries about outgrowing him and hanging out more with rab) tony wanders around the fazcade trying to find inspo, and then notices someone named GGY with top scores on some of the games. when he asks other people about it, they tell him the scores are seemingly impossible, but when he asks a staff member, he's told they haven't been hacked.
At some point he makes an online blog to ask about it and a girl he'd talked to in the fazcade asks him to meet her. she tells him that she thinks this is more than just high scores, and that he should stay out of it.
Oh also freddy keeps watching tony and at some point begins following him.
Tony finds out that GGY has a hacked party pass (or it was like a fun pass or smth) that gives them access to much more than it should, working almost like a security card.
Tony then finds out one of the school counselors has gone missing, and he sneaks into the librarian's office to learn more about it. he finds out two other counselors have also gone missing, all of them having gone to the pizzaplex before disappearing.
tony writes his paper and gives it to Rab and Boots to look over, and when they come back the next day, they've changed it into a fantasy story. And GGY is labled as the wizard's favorite apprentice, rather than someone getting high scores on arcade games.
tony is upset with rab and boots and begins calling htem by their actual names.
Rab is Greg, Boots is Ellis.
tony is also in trouble for sneaking into the librarian's office and using her laptop, so he has detention shelving books.
Greg come and offers to take him to the pizzaplex when he's done, and it's kind of implied he killed him there.
again i have bad memory and i dont have the book in front of my so anyone can feel free to correct anythign i got wrong or missed
now onto patient 46 who's from the therapy tapes in sb.
this'll be undeniably easier because i can just listen to the tapes. patient 46 is also not confirmed to be gregory, its just a theory, so im just gonna call them 46.
its important to note that 46 does not speak.
everything here is things implied to have been nonverbally communicated to the therapist.
Tape 2:
It starts with the therapist talking about how the day is nice, but 46 doesnt like the light, so the therapist draws the blinds. she then comments on how 46 is not talking to her today, and says that she gets reviews from patients, and when 46 doesn't let her help them, she gets bad reviews. she tells 46 she could get in trouble and get put in timeout, which 46 finds funny.
Tape 4:
New therapist is here, she asks if 46 is going to talk to her, and they dont reply. she asks whats wrong, and they gesture to the flowers. the therapist comments on them being particularly fragrant and moves them. The therapist then comments on 46 staring at something, and says they're "amazingly alert." she says shed like to have 46 tell her about themself, but 46 does not. the therapist instead chooses to look through their notes. she also comments on the chair not fitting 46, but its not specified if its too big or too small. she then asks if 46 is bothered by a new therapist, but 46 doesnt seem surprised or confused at all. the therapist says shes surprised by whats in 46's notes. she says they have a "rebellious side" and a knack for computers, and explains the word phenom to them. the tape ends with her asking if 46 considers themself a hacker
tape 6:
new therapise again! she tells 46 shes already read their files and knows what theyve worked on. 46 asks for a candy, and she gives one to them, taking one for herself as well. she says she wants to start with 46's parents, and claims it was tragic but she doesnt think 46 has processed it emotionally. she says they wrote it like they had read it off of a book. (her exact words are they wrote an objective rather than a subjective narrative, but 46 didnt know what that meant.) she says 46 spends a lot of time alone and is good at self-dialogue, which she explains is "asking urself questions and getting answers" she tells them to try asking themself how they feel about what happened to them. she tells them to let themself be upset about it so they can let it go.
tape 8:
same therapist as 6! she asks 46 if theyve thought about what they talked about. 46 had told them their past had made them sad and scared. the therapist asks if they had written down exactly what made them feel that way. she then says she works with many people who respond to tragedy differently. she asks 46 if their fantasies would be different had this tragedy not happened to them.
Tape 13:
new therapist again! she says when shes getting to know a client, she likes to find out abt their hobbies. when she doesnt get a reply, she asks if they like sports. 46 tells her they like to watch sports, but not play them. and that they like to stay inside. the therapist then reluctantly tells 46 that their previous therapists have gone missing. except one who was found dead, and they said her body looked to be mangled by machinery. the therapist also comments that 46 doesn't look concerned about it. she jokes about watching her back, which 46 finds funny.
Tape 14:
same therapist as 13. she asks if 46 knows about the pizzaplex, and says the technicians who work there know them. theyve seen what they think is 46 on the security cameras. they say 46 was accused of hacking their systems. the therapist says that the hacks are causing tons of problems, but that there's no solid proof it was 46, and 46 finds it funny that the techs are having issues. she says she finds it weird that 46 would spend time in such a busy, crowded place despite their loner attitude. she asks if its the electronics that 46 likes. she also says theyve designed programs that talk to them and repeat phrases. she says it asks them questions and prompts for responses, like their own little therapist. she said at first she had thought they were talking to themself, but it seems more like they were talking to someone else. she asks who it was.
Tape 15:
same therapist as 13+14. she starts with asking if 46 wants to do an ink blot test. she shows them an image, and 46 asks to hold it. 46 says it reminds them of a mask. the therapist asks if 46 likes the idea of being disguised, and how they make you invisible. she says being invisible lets you get away with anything, and asks 46 if they like that idea. she then moves on to something else, telling 46 that it seems theyve been talking to someone else. she says the techs think that its someone trying to lure 46 away, or manipulate them. the therapist moves to where she can see 46's eyes, and says she got something different from the communications. she accuses 46 of manipulating someone, rather than being manipulated. she says they were recorded on the security cameras with someone else. she says that it looks like the person theyre with has rabbit ears, which 46 finds amusing.
Tape 16:
Same therapist as 13+14+15. she says shes gotten another message from the pizzaplex that says that theres a glitch in the system that makes the animatronics more eerie than entertaining. she says the glitch spread system-wide and infected all the machines. she also says it was traced back to 46. she says the glitch broadcasted a dangerous message. she also says that when the techs were trying to fix it, the source shifted. she says that the glitch changed from a glitch and became a set of sub-routines that were made to do exactly what the glitch was doing. (which basically means it stopped just being a glitch and became part of the system?? i think?? idk shit abt computers bruh) when 46 does not reply, she presses, saying she is on their side and wont tell anyone what is told to her during the session and that the techs have no proof it was 46, so theyre not in trouble. when 46 doesnt reply still, she brings up their past. 46 refuses to look at her, but she continues. she says it doesnt matter if they look at the floor, because nothing they told her about their parents was true. she says they had great parents, and a great childhood. she asks 46 why they lied, and tells them to look at her. she then says she understands why 46 would be upset about the confrontation, and says they can come back to this another day. the last line she says is "you're shaking your head like that's not going to happen."
UHM YEAH IM NORMAL ABOUT THEM LOL.
i have a lot of thoughts on both of these parts and i personally believe 46 is Gregory. but if i dumped all my thoughts we'd be here all day so have this long ass explanation instead

May I request some 3am breakfast date headcanons? Whichever doctors you want!
YES FLUFF BRING IT ONNNN
3 AM DATES HEADCANONS
CHARACTERS: DRAVEN AND TALLORAN, EVERETT KING, ICEBERG, ALTO CLEF.
DRAVEN & TALLORAN
✭ You were sleeping until a nightmare woke you up, you went to the kitchen to get a glass of water and gave a look at the clock that your roomates put on the kitchen, it read '3 AM.'
✭ "The hour of the devil" you thought and laughed a little, a few minutes passed and you were joined by a tired Draven who woke up from, you guessed it, a nightmare. You both started chatting while he made you both some tea.
✭ Other minutes passed, the clock now read '3:10 AM.' and Talloran also woke up because of how loud you two were getting while talking about fnaf lore.
✭ He stared at both of you and smiled slightly, fixing himself some tea to join the chatting.
✭ An idea popped up in your head and you voiced it without thinking.
✭ "We should bake a cake and watch some movies"
✭ The boys looked at you and decided that yes, that is what you were going to do that night, even if in like 5 hours both of them had to go to work.
✭ You drived around searching for a shop that was open and bought everything you needed and a little more.
✭ Now the 'we should bake' was more of a Draven should bake while Talloran and you helped with bringing stuff everytime he asked.
✭ While you guys waited for it to be done, you discussed what movie to watch. The clock now read '4 AM'.
✭ You settled with watching Shrek and see how many movies of it you can watch before falling asleep/having to go to work.
✭ Your cake almost got burned but you managed to save it.
✭ The first to fall asleep again was Draven, with his head on Talloran's shoulder and his hand on your hip. Talloran and you didn't stop until their alarm went off at 7 o'clock and they had to get ready for work.
✭ You wonder why they put their uniforms in a bag... But meh, you were tired and you didn't want to get in a fight to find out what they worked as, so you went to sleep.
DR KING
❀ This man got awaken by fucking apple seeds, so he decided to call you to see if you were awake.
❀ Lucky him! you picked up after two rings and you started chatting while he went to get a coffee ready, he knew he wouldn't be able to go back to sleep.
❀ You told him that you both could go walk around in a park or something, but the idea of doing that at 3 AM didn't sit right with him, so you suggested that he went to your house and you could watch horror videos.
❀ He said yeah why not and left his coffee undone on the living room table, got some comfy clothes on and went over to your place.
❀ You had made some popcorn and on the way he got some chips and drinks, and so you were cuddling on the couch while watching videos that made you squeeze his hand a little too hard. King was pretty happy because in your presence the apples seeds seem to stop coming.
❀ When he went to work that day, no one could understand how Dr 'I hate my life and apple seeds' King had a smile in his face the whole day and seemed to not care about the seeds that much.
ICEBERG
❄︎ He woke you up with speakers blasting 'You give love a bad name', then asked you if you wanted take out.
❄︎ Well, you are awake now so you said yes.
❄︎ When you went to the living room you did not expect to find a blanket + pillow fort and the TV on the floor.
❄︎ He told you to get in and pick a movie/serie/video to watch, so you did. Inside it was warm and there were a lot of bottles of soda around and two wine glasses, for some reason?
❄︎ He came back with food on his hands and sat next to you, seeing what you chose to watch.
❄︎ "... Why R/Slash?"
❄︎ You just watched reddit histories all night while drinking Cola from your fancy glass and eating hamburguers.
❄︎ If you differ on a history you would get into an argument and then go back to watching.
❄︎ That day he was a little more,,, passive at work, he didn't throw any chairs at some random researcher.
DR CLEF
✴︎ You were having a nice sleep until you heard things outside your window.
✴︎ You got up and before you could open it a rock hitted it, luckily the glass didn't broke.
✴︎ Before you could yell at whoever was doing that you heard a knock on your door and went to the entrance to see what the hell was going on.
✴︎ " 'S ME, CLEF, OPEN UP"
✴︎ You sighed and did so, finding your boyfriend with a really big smile, on what you suppoused were 'working clothes'.
✴︎ "LET'S GO TO MCDONALDS" "babe it's 3 AM, I doubt McDonalds is-" "I CHECKED, IT IS"
✴︎ So, it wasn't but he wanted to do something with you and, I mean, he might as well use his powers for something right?
✴︎ You two went and ate,,, lunch?? there. Clef was being his disgusting but cute self chewing with his mouth open while you yelled at him to stop.
✴︎ He smiled softly when he saw you laugh and if you were quick enough you could see his eyes soften too, oh how he wished he could hear you laugh everyday.
✴︎ He drove around and let you pick the music, but the usn was starting to come out and even if he's queer, he wishes that it wouldn't (get it? bc its ocming out...)
✴︎ He dropped you at your house and gave you a 'goodbye' kiss before you went inside, got inside his car and gripped the steering wheel hard while he tried to stop some tears from falling.
✴︎ He then drove to his apartment and got changed to go to work, oh how he wishes he could tell you why he can barely spend time with you, how he has to beg the 05 to let him go out without supervision, how he has to hide everything from you and lie to your face.
✴︎ Even a good night couldn't take away the bitter taste that train of thought left him.

@transford-pines woe, au be upon ye (under cut)
warnings for talk of death and (lethal) injury
context for anyone who doesn’t already have it: this is a gravity falls/fnaf au where none of the books nor anything past sister location happen. also, the nightmares have nothing to do with the illusion disks
i’m more tired than my usual as of writing this, so some bits may be a tad incoherent. my apologies for that. anyway, au explanation time:
this au focuses on the stan twins. stan and michael become the same character, ford and cc become the same character. shermie owns the sister location (and some other things) but is unaware of the fact that the robots are uh. sentient. shermie is the older brother here
that should place filbrick in the role of the william afton, but he’s not. because him murdering random kids for no reason feels like it undermines him being an abusive prick to his own kids in a way. he doesn’t need to be a killer to be terrible, y’know? so the murderer is someone else
seeing as ford is cc in this au, i’m sure you know where this is going. stan doesn’t do the deed himself, but he does watch as it happens (there is a reason/s for this. that i won’t get into right now. we’ll make an addendum later if we remember)
here, the theory about fnaf 4 being an actual nightmare cc is having as they die is true. i’ve always taken it as a ‘facing your trauma/coming to terms with your death’ type deal, and i feel like that fits here. stan promises to put ford back together before the latter dies
this is where we start getting into artistic liberties
stan thinks ‘okay. there’s this college that’s relatively easy to get into and it has courses i can take to learn more about supernatural shit. and that’s the kind of stuff ford was wanting to research anyway, so even if i don’t figure something out, i’ll just do that’. this is how stan meets fiddleford. he will come up again later
stan still needs to get a job, so he goes to shermie for help and ends up working as a technician in the sister location. this way, he gets paid to poke around at stuff that could potentially help him make progress in his studies. it goes pretty great, except for the part where the robots rip his intestines out
are you ready for weird ass ghost shit cause we’re getting into weird ass ghost shit now
stan has the realization that ford has actually been haunting him since he died. he just couldn’t do anything before. but, now that stan is more than well on his way to exiting this mortal plane, ford is finally able to talk to him (which really just consists of stan barely existing and ford going ‘well, you tried. my turn’)
in other words, stan is forgiven (kind of) and ford uses his ghostly abilities (really just possession-ish) to keep stan alive so he can try and…do something about that whole situation. ford rushes stan out of there (‘big sharp metal thing is going to use you as a meat suit if you don’t get out of here’ is pretty good incentive turns out) and he manages to make it to a phone so he can call fiddleford for help
does fiddleford have any experience in engineering entire functioning organs for people? not at all. is he gonna try and figure it out anyway? you bet he is
stan ends up healing okay. ford sticks around (he’s afraid if he lets go of stan, he’ll just immediately keel over). stan introduces fiddleford to his dead brother. fiddleford gains an interest in also studying human anatomy (he needs to be prepared in case stan almost dies again). ford and fiddleford dance at one point. stan confronts shermie about the incident. shermie offers him a position as a night guard in a different location (still plenty of robots there, but no giant death claws. which was the actual problem, as far as he knew. no, he did not know about the extent of the wound). stan takes it because now he wants to know how the hell the animatronics in the sister location got possessed
stan begins investigating any deaths that could be causing the hauntings, which leads him into trying to figure out who (and/or what) is causing the deaths. ford and fiddleford kind of help, though ford is working with the same information as stan (and also keeps scaring the other ghosts away) and fiddleford just offers ideas and advice whenever stan gets back to the dorm. this is essentially where the au starts getting into ‘ooh what’s gonna happen next’ territory.
some things up on the radar: shermie somehow doesn’t believe the twins about the hauntings (despite knowing about the murders), stan witnesses another bite and has a very bad time, and ford and fiddleford talk about hydraulics for a while
do you see what i meant. when i said there were a lot of changes. and to proceed with caution
anyway, that’s all for now. woe, au is no longer upon ye

not my normal type of post but...
Decay of Angels Playing Five Nights at Freddy’s
<< tell me if you want one of them playing the other games i LOVED writing these >>
Fyodor
Doesn’t like that there’s such a high element of unpredictability to the games, but it intrigues him either way.
He acts like he isn’t scared.
I promise you, he is.
He has absolutely no idea what he’s doing at first and almost died to Foxy but his reflexes (and ability to click small buttons) saved him (he shut the door before he ran into the office).
Kept a keen eye on Foxy since.
First jumpscare hed get playing would be Freddy on night 4 because he doesn’t think he needs to look at the cameras.
Screams like a girl and then shuts off the game.
Is this damn close to killing Nikolai over how hard he’s laughing at his stupid scream.
Is forced (by Nikolai, so not really ‘forced’) to turn the game back on and beat at least night 5.
Ends up playing until he beats 4/20 mode.
This took him several weeks but he got it on video and was all cocky when he told Nikolai and Sigma he beat it.
(They do not believe him until they see the video he recorded of him beating it).
~~
Nikolai
Has probably played through the entire game at least three times.
Knows all the lore, has watched all the MatPat videos.
He definitely shows off all the secrets he gets while he’s playing the game.
Is disappointed that he didn’t get Golden Freddy on his runthrough.
Gets jumpscared only to scare Sigma and Fyodor.
(They hate him so much).
Has relatively no issues otherwise, up until night 6 where he starts dying over and over again.
Only laughs when he gets jumpscared.
The only one he’s actually flinched at has been Freddy when he was talking too much and forgot to shut the door when he flipped the camera up.
(He started cackling afterwards).
Cannot physically focus enough to attempt 4/20 but definitely did the “who will kil me first” thing where he just sits there throwing the camera up and down and waits.
Did the 1/9/8/7 trick and made Sigma scream (he thought he was safe).
Gets all giddy when the main three look at the camera on the stage (“Hehe they’re so creepy I love them!” “You have so many issues…”)
Knows the CD+ trick and probably used it to trick Sigma (Fyodor knew he cheated).
~~
Sigma
Definitely does NOT want to play.
Ends up playing anyway because he can’t say no to Nikolai.
First night scares the shit out of him, probably.
Camera breaks the first time and Bonnie’s not on the stage and he’s already screaming.
“Where the fuck is he WHERE THE FUCK DID HE GO” “Calm down, you’re not in danger yet!” “YET!?”
Is teased by Nikolai 24/7 for being so scared the whole time.
Runs out of power and Freddy is a bitch to him and kills him right away at 5 am.
All the worst FNAF nightmares that can possibly happen, happen to Sigma.
Gets Golden Freddy on night 4 after the phone call ends and he starts screaming and freaking out.
“WHAT THE FUCK- THE FUCKING POSTER WHAT IS IT DOING- WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT- AAH FUCK-”
(Died to Golden Freddy).
Left the game running and got up and tugged at his hair out of agony on night 5 after Foxy’s already ran down the hallway.
Doesn’t even try to beat the game. Leaves a cackling Nikolai and a (shockingly) surprised Fyodor alone.
(Nikolai makes him come back to beat night 5 but that’s all he has him do).

Lost and Found (Super)Stars
PT. 4 (index/parts) (Tag: desktop/mobile)
FNAF Security Breach Ruin, post-"betrayal" elevator ending hurt/comfort, Found Family, something I like to call "Hopeful Horror"
Summary: Having had her kindness stomped on then spat back at her, betrayed by who she thought was her friend, and now stuck at the ruined remains of Freddy Fazbear's Mega PizzaPlex, Cassie tries to find the slightest bit of meaning and worth in all of this.
Most of the way back through the cavernous path was silent. Cassie didn't want to linger long enough to wonder how deep underground they were, for there to be things like actual glowing mushrooms, it's just unnerving to think about; and Roxy was anxious to return back to their PizzaPlex place (as ruined as it is now,) feeling as if the cave-like area was going to collapse on them any moment; And they're out of the V.A.N.N.I network coverage zone, meaning Helpi and M.X.E.S as well as the AR world are unavailable until they make it back into the coverage zone.
Yeah, nobody wanted to stick down there longer than necessary.
Seeing the elevator that would take them back up to the PizzaPlex should've been at least mildly relieving, but Cassie felt her chest tighten with dread, especially when thinking on what happened with her on the other elevator. It's almost ironic, how she bickered with Helpi in refusal to use more vents, only to change her mind when he suggested an elevator shaft. Right now, she'd rather take the most decrepit vent filled with the most hostile robot than an elevator. But alas, that was the only way up, so there wasn't really much of a choice. Cassie entered it with Roxy, hoping with all her soul that nothing bad would happen to either of them in there.
The ride up was also silent, but Roxy was very attentive; Every now and then, either one or both her ears would twitch, hearing Cassie's slightly shaky breath, or her soles antsy shifting her weight from one to another, besides the off-sync, lower-pitched elevator music (it sounded so wrong...) She would've asked Cassie if she was okay, if only to cut through the silent elevator ride, but honestly? That's such a dumb question.
Of course Cassie is NOT okay! She's been evading death all night, for someone else, who wasn't even there... and chose not to be there for her when he could be. And she nearly did die down there! Cassie's probably not even fully processed everything.
Roxy keeps herself from growling, if only for the girl's sake as to not concern her. She does, however, gently reach her claws to take hold of the child's much smaller hand into them, a small but nice bit of reassurance, while also respecting possible boundaries of a kid who might be in need of a little space right now. She felt a little, nice flutter in her wirings upon sensing the small hand return the hold, with little to no hesitation.
Her ruined and sharp looks really meant nothing different for Cassie. She was the same beautiful winner she's always been. If Roxy had tear ducts, she'd cry to herself right now.
Fortunately, the elevator ride is not eternal (even if it may have felt like so,) and both are let out back into the more constructed environment. Technically still under Roxy Party Garage, so they make way again. The way up is quite dark, Cassie felt the need to hold Roxy's hand in more of a guiding manner as their feet met the metallic grid surface of the stairs. "Watch your step." She softly instructs the eyeless wolf-- heck, she had to watch her own step, even with the flashlight in her other hand. And Roxy followed suit diligently.
Soon they make it to the end of the staircase and through the door that led them straight to where Cassie had... deactivated Roxy. She pointedly looked away from the spot, the shame that washed over her made her feel almost sick in the stomach. Roxy avoided looking too, it just made her feel sad, for the both of them; while missing her eyes, her hearing was so acute and precise, it was almost as if she was 'seeing' with her ears instead, along a sense of location. At least Helpi and M.X.E.S were back, now that they were within the network coverage zone again.
"Helpi, what's the nearest parent node again?" Cassie asks, feeling as if the little bear was clung to her shoulder over her backpack like a koala, the sensation similar to when she felt M.X.E.S touching her mask. Of course she knows the nodes, she unwisely deactivated them (regrettably,) but there were instances she wasn't sure in which order she did; Even in ruins, the PizzaPlex was huge!
"From our current location, backtracking will lead you into Fazerblast!" Helpi reminded.
Cassie felt her chest constrict; the first thing that came to her mind upon hearing Helpi's answer was the horror of the heavy steps of an once lovable bear beating into her ears as it bolted for her the last time she was there, always on her heels and one second of hesitation away from being grabbed.
"Do not fret!" Helpi is quick to reassure. "Since you're no longer going against the security protocols but rather in their favor, it's unlikely that any distress signals will be emitted to point you as a threat."
Wait, Helpi had a point; the animatronics were going after her because M.X.E.S was calling them over to her in order to protect the security nodes. But now the security bunny had no reason to do that. Sliding her mask back over her face, Cassie looks over to M.X.E.S as if looking for some kind of confirmation to what Helpi said. It refuses to look directly at her, but with an eventual glance her way, it nods its head lightly.
"But I don't recommend dropping your guard completely, either." Helpi quickly adds before Cassie could get 'too comfortable', his mouth a flat line. "If the animatronics see or hear you, they might still come at you independently!"
Oh. Yeah. That does sound rather risky. But so long Cassie hides herself and be quiet, she should be able to sneak past lingering threats. Being a child and small comes with a tiny little advantage point there.
But would that even matter for an animatronic with no eyes or ears but still patrolled? Was that headless Freddy pointedly after her with M.X.E.S' help? Or would it (he?) be clueless without it? Cassie can't imagine how he's functioning without a head. Or what it's like to function without a head. Is that even Freddy? Does it have any semblance or essence of him in there? Or was it all gone along with his head?
The small quartet squeeze through the cluttered Roxy Party Garage, though they do pause at several points to see if there was anything around them that could become useful ahead-- there's a lot of clutter, it's worth skimming over just to make sure. And if there was anything worth collecting, into Cassie's new backpack it'll go! Maybe a little screwdriver won't hurt!
Roxy weaved her feet over some old pieces of wood, likely from pallets. "... I remember something."
"What?" Cassie looked back from where she was pointing her flashlight at.
Roxy's ears stand upright. "People used to lose and forget those duffel bags in the PizzaPlex all the time. Rarely if ever the owners claimed them back, or claimed only what was inside."
Cassie blinks at the wolf, lightly tilting her head sideways. "You think there could still be any of them around here?"
"I certainly wouldn't be surprised." Roxy hums, holographic gaze landing on the Glamrock Freddy backpack; it's nice and convenient, but if they're going around nitpicking stuff on the way, it might become too small.
"Well, I don't see any around here right now." Cassie hums in response herself, pointing her flashlight over the more immediate area. "But if we find any somewhere ahead-"
"Then it's finders keepers, baby!" Roxy finishes the sentence in mild amusement, which Cassie reciprocates, a small upwards tug at the corners of her lips.
"Finders keepers."
They eventually come across a familiar vent and some blocked off pathways, and Cassie lifts her mask off her face, suddenly feeling rather claustrophobic at the thought of crawling in there again knowing now what's in there. And Roxy's too heavy to go in there with her and her weight might make the whole thing fall down.
And Roxy's aware of that. "I can take an alternative path and meet you on the other side, Cassie."
"Uh, are you sure I can't just go with you?" Cassie asks a little uneasily, remembering the creepy crawly that chased her in those. Roxy shakes her head.
"The vent is far safer for you to use."
"But-"
"Remember what I said, Cassie? You're stronger than you seem to believe yourself to be. We won't be apart for long, and I'll still be nearby so just hang in there, okay Champion?"
Cassie is a little taken aback by the new term of endearment; she felt her throat tighten but not in a necessarily bad way. It was just a bit too big of an emotion right now.
"Do not be afraid!" Cassie hears Helpi chiming in by her shoulder. "The Music Men shouldn't bother you this time, either! If they get in your way you can try... asking them to please move?" He suggests, though it's clear he doesn't sound very sure of his own advice. But definitely sure of his claim of them being harmless or at least neutral.
Cassie's eyes drift over to Roxy's endoskeleton eyesockets. "... you promise you will be there on the other side?"
Roxy shifts into a more confident stance. "Like 1st place at the finish line! I promise, Champion."
The girl eventually nods, and turns to face the vent, crouching down to enter; though she pauses to look back over her shoulder to see Roxy prying planks and slashing at a blocked off door, likely the alternative path she was going to take. Cassie kept her mask off her face (the vents feel even more claustrophobic with it on,) before she finally went on crawling in.
Okay, she knows this vent has nothing in it, but the next one...
The little girl however gets a small reprieve first upon crawling out the other side of the vent, in the form of a small room with colorful lockers, likely part of a hallway or utility room between attractions. There was a door, but it was jammed and barricaded shut. The other vent was right there, but it was rather up high on the wall. Cassie's brows furrow slightly.
"I need something to reach it..." She mutters out loud as her eyes evaluate the many lockers in the small room. One was more or less favorably placed, if she pushed it she could send it back against the wall. She begins trying to push at the locker to shove it back, but it was a tad too heavy for the child; she could feel it move slightly under her efforts though. She changes her strategy a little by first shoving into the locker as hard as she could, then while it's rocking a little at its base, she took a few steps back then ran towards it, ramming her shoulder into it with enough effort that the locker finally topples back with a small grunt leaving her, the locker's top hitting the wall right under the vent.
Cassie is left wincing, her shoulder now with a dull pain from hitting it into a hard surface, but now she could proceed! "Yes! I did it!" She just spends a few moments taking a couple breaths while rubbing at her eyes, then she climbs up the knocked locker until she reaches the vent finally, crawling once more.
Okay, so far so good... The vent is a smooth ride. She was very faintly starting to hear the Fazerblast music meaning she had crawled a good way in... Then it showed up.
Right as she was supposed to take the last turn, the creepy crawly Cassie dreaded meeting again dropped from above, blocking her path, its teeth clattering and its head and arms twitching. The girl stops in her tracks, forgetting how to breathe. While it doesn't break into a run towards her like it did their previous encounter, it stared at her unblinkingly. Cassie felt herself between a rock and a hard place, the only pathway she had was ahead, or retreat all the way back, which at this point was just a hassle.
"Don't be scared!" Helpi's voice pipes up, trying to calm her nerves. "Try going on anyways, it shouldn't be compelled to hurt you anymore."
Cassie hesitates; there's been times Helpi guaranteed she was safe only for circumstances to refute it, but that was when that thing down in the basement had a hold of him... Surely he wouldn't egg her into walking into danger with the promise of safety as himself... right? He did seem to feel bad he was tampered with, after all.
Swallowing dry, she makes a tentative crawl towards the miniature Music Man. "S... sorry. Can you... can you move, please? I- I need to pass." She follows Helpi's earlier suggestion, counting on nothing but luck for it to work. The small spider-like robot just continued staring at her for a hot minute, but to her pleasant surprise, it complies!
It skitters backwards towards a dead-end with a vent fan, unblocking the way for Cassie, who just then lets out the breath she was holding, relief draping over her like a thin but smooth blanket. "Uh, thank you."
Being tucked under a blanket with only a dozen pillows and plushies sounded just about great right now, actually...
"See? I told you so!" Helpi states proudly, as if he himself hadn't been somewhat uncertain of his own claim. "All you had to do was ask!"
"That you did." Cassie responds as she crawls past the small Music Man, then her brows furrow a little. "But... didn't you also say that I shouldn't let animatronics see or hear me?"
"Ah, well-" Helpi lets out a sound akin to a throat-clearing. "You see, it's a bit of a toss up."
"Oh no..."
"Hey, don't despair! If you prefer you can choose to err on the side of caution. Remember that you're not alone this time!"
Well, that was a bit of a nice reminder, though it doesn't really solve the fact that she was basically gambling with potentially still aggressive animatronics.
Cassie soon finds herself coming out of the vent, finally, and into a small backstage-like room for Fazerblast, cluttered and still with a few pieces of the former attraction. The only way through was the door that would take her straight into Fazerblast itself. She can't help but feel nervous, knowing what (who?) is lingering around there. Okay, okay, she just has to reach the parent node then its two child nodes without running into them. It's just two child nodes, she can do this! She already did once, only in reverse.
Swallowing thick, Cassie, grabbed the door handle and opened the door, letting herself into the ruined Fazerblast.

(Disclaimer: this post contains spoilers for the FNAF movie, and isn't being made to invalidate anyone's opinions on the material. You can like/love the movie, and/or dislike/hate the movie! Also this started as a post talking about how people say it's inaccurate to the games but it actually isn't, then eventually turned into my review of it lol.)
What I keep hearing around the internet: "This is nothing like the games, it's supposed to be an R-rated gorefest! We should've seen all five kids get brutally slaughtered and stuffed into the animatronics, not whatever that stupid intro sequence was. The games showed it so why couldn't the movie do the same?" "Why are the animatronics friendly with Abby? That's not how it is in the games, the animatronics kill anyone regardless of age." "It's hardly even scary, the games were much more terrifying than this." "Why is the movie so focused on the story? It's supposed to be about bloody murder and revenge." "This isn't a horror/comedy series, what the hell."
What FNAF games are like: -Mild to barely any gore; the most gruesome of content visually is shown via pixel minigames (Mainly FNAF 2, 3 & 4, & SL) or minor gore like the eyes popping out of the Freddy head in FNAF1's game over screen, as to not be too violent for its rating, E-12 -Animatronics are corrupted by the spirits of dead children (Missing Children's Incident (MCI) newspapers from FNAF 1), exacting vengeance on adults because of their killer, but being friendly toward other children --"Uh, by now I’m sure you’ve noticed the older models, sitting in the back room. Uh, those are from the previous location, we just use them for parts now. The idea at first was to repair them. Uh, they even started retrofitting them with some of the newer technology." (FNAF2 - NIGHT 2) --"Someone may have tampered with their facial recognition systems, we’re not sure. But the characters have been acting very unusual, almost aggressive towards the staff. They interact with the kids just fine, but when they encounter an adult, they just…stare." (FNAF2 - NIGHT 4) --I'm using the calls from FNAF 2 in reference here because it is a prequel to FNAF 1, and as far as I can tell, it was confirmed the withered animatronics from 2 are modified to become the ones in 1 ("But they were just so ugly, you know? And the smell…ugh." (FNAF 2 -- NIGHT 2) "If I were forced to sing those same stupid songs for twenty years and I never got a bath? I’d probably be a bit irritable at night too." (FNAF 1 -- NIGHT 1)) -The games are relatively scary in the aspect of environmental horror; dim lighting, sounds that have no origin and/or are meant to trip you up & make you uneasy, characters suddenly appearing in the doorways/entrances to your office; they are also heavily jumpscare-reliant, you either win or get jumped by one of the animatronics -The storytelling format through the games evolved over time (mainly focusing on Scott era games (FNAF1-UCN)) with more voice actors and whatnot, but the early trilogy solely relied on phone calls which were written to be morbidly awkward and funny despite the circumstances --In later games, the plot develops as Michael Afton (our (debatable) main protagonist across the franchise) goes after the restaurants & the killer, his father William in an attempt to set the children's spirits free
What the FNAF movie is like: -Mild to barely any gore, most we see is through pixel animation (the kids being lured away through the intro sequence) OR minor gore in dark lighting/silhouettes as to not be too violent for its rating, PG-13 -Animatronics are corrupted by the spirits of dead children, exacting vengeance on adults because of their killer (who in this case is manipulating their perception of memories to be their friend and ally), but being friendly toward other children --The only exception to this is when they are corrupted by William Afton's influence, in the case of them attempting to put Abby in a springlock suit (that looks like the Ella dolls from the books but I think is intended to be this universe's Circus Baby because of Abby's anagram name for Baby) -The movie is relatively scary in the aspect of environmental horror; dim lighting, sounds that have no origin and/or are meant to trip you up & make you uneasy, characters suddenly appearing in the doorways/entrances to the office; they are also heavily jumpscare-reliant (Foxy's runs down the hallway, the infamous Balloon Boy jumpscares, any instances of the animatronics throughout the film suddenly moving to kill or attack characters (Bonnie in the closet killing Hank, Freddy's spirit pulling Max in for the kill, Chica sending Karl through the vent after the older brother of Max & at Mike later in the movie), the Fritz/Foxy kid jumpscare during the dream sequence, Abby being suddenly pulled up from the ballpit to then cut back to Mike hearing her scream, I could go on but I think I made the point) -The storytelling in the film, while not spectacular by any means, is synonymous to the writing in the games, where there's this awkwardness and humor to a lot of the story because of just how nonsensical it all is (which YES, admittedly kills the environmental horror atmosphere in parts of the story, even I can admit to that) -While Mike, Abby and Garret aren't related to William in the film, they are clearly parallels to Michael, Circus Baby/Elizabeth and Crying Child in the games --I would like to point out that Vanessa takes on the role of being William's daughter who wants to make him happy, which is more-so what Elizabeth is as a character, except she isn't partaking in the bloodshed, but she is pretty much a bystander to it all --I mention Circus Baby in relation to Abby more than Elizabeth because Abby has more of a sarcastic wit and just generally feels closer in personality to Baby's in SL
(Okay now here's my stance on the movie, please read this before reblogging or commenting, it's important for context)
I feel like a lotta people (mainly the ones currently in their late teens & overall 20s-plus) forget a majority of the fanbase were in the target demographic nearly a decade ago when the games started (which was scary to many including myself back then), and now act like it's obligated to "grow up" to more mature content with its initial user base who are now grown adults. But there's still a LOT of young kids who are into the franchise now (again, the intended target demographic is young teens), and it wouldn't make sense if the scary-to-kids-but-not-really-to-adults jumpscare video game suddenly became some SAW-esque R-rated gruesome slasher film when that is never what the franchise was meant to be, nor did it ACT like that's what it was. If you want that, Wally's Wonderland is right there.
There's so much fan entitlement going on regarding the movie right now, it's deranged. You can dislike or hate the movie all you want, I have criticism for it too. I do feel like the tone shifted back and forth a lot, but not in the way where it would make sense for the storytelling. It could've been a lot better written in general, and the exposition dumps Vanessa has throughout could've easily been replaced with a newspaper about the MCI up on the wall while Mike's first walking through the pizzeria, him reacting to the smell from the rotting corpses in the bots, have one of Phone Guy's original recordings play or have the woman from the training video treat the video format in a similar vein.
The way I see it, I had low expectations going into the film and just expected general stuff from the initial game or two in an adjacent, but not exact, adaptation. I've been doing this low-expectation thing since Detective Pikachu, but always try to be optimistic. And the FNAF movie was pretty much exactly what I figured it would be, based on how its story is described through the Phone Guy calls and the post-Sister Location approach of dry/morbid humor mixed in with actual movement, beyond the sit-&-survive office we got used to in the first handful of titles. I really only expected that the animatronics were gonna be friendly with Abby based on FNAF 2's calls, and it was a solid prediction.
Was it a scary movie? No, not really. The jumps got me plenty, especially Max's death cause holy shit I wasn't expecting someone to get chomped in half (and also Balloon Boy, fuck you you little bastard), but the story wasn't scary. It was honestly a tragedy of events going on across all the characters, just really sad but more of a horror-mystery I suppose.
And again, you are allowed to have an opinion and not be satisfied with what was provided in the film. I think there's a lot of room for improvement, and I think it was LS Mark who pointed out in his video that this was Scott and his cowriters' first screenplay, so I agree that they should've had a couple other writers who mainly write films to help form it into a better story for a movie. But it was a serviceable adaptation, and was accurate to the level of extremes being depicted in the games (and no, not all of it works for film, but that's okay to be satisfied or dissatisfied with). And it is fucking exhausting seeing people act like FNAF was always some super horrifying mature adult thing when that's just what the fanmade horror content like FNAF VHS is (Don't support FNAF VHS tho, its creator's a creep who sent NSFW shit to an underage kid knowingly for several years :/ Nasty af).
I think its positives & negatives are generally the same as the Pokemon, Sonic & Mario adaptations as of recent, where you're having to form an entire 90-120 minute movie based off of a few voice lines or body language of the non-speaking characters, and a generally simple plotline. So it typically leads to serviceable movies, but nothing groundbreaking or a masterpiece by ANY means of the term (basically like 50-70% out of 100%, average but not above that from a writing standpoint; I personally have it at 8/10 because it definitely satisfied what I thought it was gonna be, though it's based on personal enjoyment and not its writing/storytelling).
I haven't read the FNAF books and honestly have no interest in doing so, so they don't really matter to me, but I know for a fact this is mostly based on FNAF1 (Ik William going by an alias was a Silver Eyes thing but again, haven't read it so that's the only similarity to the books that I know of). And for what it is, it did its job.
Recent video game film adaptations are very good at making fans happy with references, the similar storylines, and mostly game-accurate depictions of its characters. I think the biggest problem with them is that they stick so close to the games' stories, which are simplified for the sake of the gameplay loop, that the writers for these films are almost afraid to take risks and change a few things up in the way it's told in order to properly adapt & expand the story into a film format. Personally I think Sonic did it best so far based on its source material (though not by a lot), but I liked this movie about the same as Mario's.
It hit all the beats I figured it would hit based on the trailers, and I do feel bad for the people who didn't enjoy it the same way I did, even if their expectations were low or similar to my own. But Scott said in a recent post that he's been listening to people's criticism for the movie, and he generally takes good-faith criticism to heart for better products in future content as far as I've seen it over the years. So hopefully for the near-inevitable sequel, we'll get to see the wrinkles in the first movie's adaptation ironed out in the next film.
#linposts#fnaf#fnaf movie#fnaf movie spoilers#movie review#but also a rant#why yes I did spend two hours writing this in the middle of the night#keep discussion under this post in good faith or I'm disabling comments & reblogs but I REALLY don't want to do that if I don't have to#So please just be respectful to me & others' opinions in comments/reblogs/quotations of my post that's all I ask thank you

In honor of fnaf 4's anniversary today, I decided to rewrite one of my stories from the 30-day writing challenge from April. I am mainly doing this, but I don't like how it was written, and I wanted to add to the story that I'm creating within the fnaf universe.
Original story:Storm Blackout.
New story:Survivors' Guilt.
The sound of rain pounded on the house roof. Occasionally, thunder would crack, and lightning would flash through the windows. The house was pitch black and quiet. It was almost quiet. August Robinson stood in front of his bed, flashlight in hand. He was waiting for the monsters to come. The monsters that were haunting him. He went to one of the doors and pressed his ear against it. He heard breathing on the other side, and then one of the monsters began to speak.
"You can't hide in there forever."
The voice was disoriented and glitchy. He peeked his head through the door to see a horrifying version of Bonnie. The blue rabbit had a lot of holes in its suit. Its claws and teeth were sharp. August quickly shut the door on the rabbit and it began banging on the door.
"Why did you let him trick me?!"
"I...I didn't let him trick you..."
"I was trying to warn you, Jeremy."
The banging stopped after a minute. August sighed before checking the hallway. He shined the light down the hallway. He couldn't see Bonnie anymore. As he stepped back inside the room, he heard something on the other side of the room. He went to the other door and peeked through. He was a creepy version of Chica that looked similar to Bonnie with the holes in the suit and the sharp teeth and claws. Her cupcake had sharp teeth like hers.
"You shouldn't have left us behind."
August slammed the door and Chica began shaking the doorknob.
"You let the yellow rabbit kill me. You're a horrible friend for that!"
"Susie, I'm sorry, I didn't know how to help you."
A few minutes passed, and the shaking stopped. August peeked out the door again, and Chica was gone.
"Someone, please wake me up..."
August noticed the closet doors rustling. He headed over to them and shined his light. Foxy was there with his sharp hook and long metal claws.
"You're not getting away!"
Foxy laughed before trying to charge towards August. He shut the closet doors and Foxy banged on the doors.
"You left us!"
"You left us all to die!"
"Fritz, I didn't want to leave you guys but I didn't have a choice."
The banging stopped once more. August slumped down by the bed . He felt something rub up against his skin. He turned around to see Freddy in the same nightmare like fashion as the others. He picked up August and began laughing at him.
"You didn't even try to save us!"
August shined the light in Freddy's eyes before running to the closet and hid in there.
"Where are you, traitor?!"
"Gabriel, please forgive me."
"I don't know how I survived, and I don't know how to help you."
As he was hiding, he felt a breeze of cold air hit his back. He shivered, and something touched his shoulders. He looked up to see a yellow bear with the same sharp claws and teeth as the others. The bear had a purple hat on its head and a purple bowtie around its neck. August began shivering in fear.
"F- Fredbear?"
"We know who our friends are, and you are not one of them."
Fredbear picked him up and threw him out of the closet. August hit his head against the edge of the bed and lost the flashlight. He rubbed his head as Fredbear got closer to him.
"Please, leave me alone."
The other animatronics appeared in the room and surrounded August. He was trapped. The animatronics stood there laughing at him as Fredbear picked him up again by his shirt.
"Why did you leave us behind, Auggie?"
"I thought we were friends."
The bear spoke in a mocking tone to August, calling him by the nickname that his friends called him.
"Gabriel, Jeremy, Susie, Fritz, and me."
"All of us were killed because you ran away and didn't try to help us!"
"How would you like that if you were in danger and we decided not to help you."
"Would you like it, you would?!"
"N no!"
"Then why did you do it to us?!"
"I was trying to find help Cassidy!"
"I didn't want to leave you guys but I didn't have a choice."
"I tried to go back in there, but my dad dragged me out of the building!"
"Liar!"
The animatronic screamed in August's face before the suit turned black, and the purple accessories turned yellow.
"You let them shove me into Fredbear, and then you sat there staring instead of going to get help."
"What's to say that you didn't do the same to them?"
"Evan, I tried to save you!"
"I was scared, I didn't know what to do!"
"I'll show what my pain was like."
The bear began changing from yellow to black as he opened his jaw. August tried to get out of Fredbears grasp. He began screaming at the top of his lungs for help.
"Someone please wake me up!"
"Mom, dad, please, anyone!"
"Wake me up!"
"Wake me up!"
"Wake-"
Fredbear's jaw went down on August's head. He felt the teeth sinking into his body before everything went black.
He woke up in a cold sweat. His heart was pounding, and his hands were shivering and a chill going down his spine. He got up and went to the restroom to check his forehead. There were no bite marks on him. No bleeding, no cuts, he was completely fine. He went back to his room and laid down on the bed. He reflected on the events that led to him having these nightmares. It started on Evan's birthday at Fredbears Family Diner. Evan's older brother Michael and his friends were bullying Evan. They decided to shove him into Fredbear's jaw as a joke. August tried to stop him, but it was useless. Fredbear's jaw went down and crushed Evan's head. August was in so much shock that he let out a scream without realizing it. Then something else bad happened at Freddy's. He was hanging out with his friends. Gabriel, Jeremy, Susie, Fritz, and Cassidy. Spring Bonnie showed up out of nowhere and offered to take Susie to her dog. August didn't trust Spring Bonnie and tried to convince her not to follow him, but she went anyway. Spring Bonnie came back without Susie and convinced Fritz, Gabriel, and Jeremy to follow him. August again tried to tell his friends that following a stranger was a bad idea. They ignored him and went with Spring Bonnie. Spring Bonnie came back and convinced Cassidy to come with him for a surprise. August was practically begging her not to go, but she went with him, and then he came back and dragged August to the safe room. He showed August his friends stuffed inside the animatronic suits. Spring Bonnie attempted to attack August with a knife, but August managed to escape from him. He ran and told his father and Henry, his father's boss, about what he saw. The police were called, and August attempted to go back into the safe room to see if it was his friends, but his dad stopped him. He was questioned by the police about it. It was a long nerve-racking process. The night after the incident was when the nightmares began happening. He started seeing nightmare-ish versions of Freddy and his friends. As well as Fredbear and some black bear. Every now and then, there was a nightmare like version of the Marionette, but it never attacked him. It just watched him.
"Why is this happening to me?"
"What did I do to deserve this?"
"Is this my punishment for failing to save my friends?"
"I know I shouldn't blame myself for what happened to Evan, but I felt like I could've done something to save him."
"I could've pulled him away from Michael and told my dad or Mr. Afton about what Michael was trying to do."
"I shouldn't blame myself for what happened to my friends, but I should've done something instead of running away like a coward."
August folded his arms and buried his head in them as he began crying.
"I'm sorry."
"I'm sorry."
"I'm sorry."
He repeated that phrase over and over for a long time. He spoke till his throat hurt, and he cried till his eyes were dry. From behind him, a voice whispered to him.
"Tomorrow is another day."
23/7/15. Happy 8 years to fnaf 4!

Just a question and I’m not trying to be rude at all I’m simply curious
If you’re so mad at Thomas and what he’s doing then why are you still in the fandom and posting for it and such? If I were mad at someone to this degree I think I would just stop being apart of the fandom /genq /nm
I don’t want you to take this as me being rude and accusatory, I just want to know
HAII very good question!
I actually have left the fandom before, back in late 2020, due 2 the fandoms... increasingly racist ideals being shown thru them calling my other black mutuals the n word 4 speaking out against thomas' & the fandoms racism during the blm protests & dealing w/ my own racism being thrown at me.
I left for almost 2 years, before remaking in late 2022.
I am autistic and sanders sides is my biggest special interest and has been for 5-6 years now. So while leaving the fandom was freeing in a way, I literally cannot stop talking about SaSi. Which led to me talking about it on my main account sometimes & SaSi fans finding it & interacting w/ me despite me not wanting them to.
I am schizophrenic & deal heavily w/ paranoia & I have a weird thing w/ who can interact w/ my accounts & who cant. I don't let friends interact w/ certain accounts because of it. & so when sasi fans were interacting in a place I felt like "wasn't for them", I was more upset. & I have mutuals that don't like sanders sides so it was kind of just annoying.
& i just like 2 b critical!! That's how I interact w/ all media. complain abt every little thing & then turn around & go "yea i rlly like it :3". Bcuz not everything is perfect! & i have complex emotions !!! Abt everything !!!!
So I remade! Because I like Sanders Sides a lot it means everything to me. & I like having a place where I can talk abt it. Disliking a creator of something doesn't mean you can't enjoy what they're making.
I fucking hate scott cawthon, doesn't mean I can't enjoy FNAF.
Also, I am not super mad. At. Thomas. I know it sounds like I am, but I am just a violent thought haver & happen 2 use more angry & violent language than other people. I don't see an issue w/ that, bcuz this is my account, & iiii can do whatever I want on here (+ on places like twitter, i have him blocked so he can't even see what I am saying).
Thank u 4 being kind. This is a very silly thing 2 ask 2 me /lh. Enjoying anything doesn't mean you're enjoying what the creator does. My siblings love certain media & complain abt the writing or the creator while still loving it. like my brother who's invested w/ the new spiderman game, & he comes in2 my room 2 complain abt the lead writer & the story while also excitedly telling me about whatever is going on. My father watches marvel movies & loves marvel & yet everytime he watches one he complains abt the writing & how stupid it is (& also how much he loves it.) My older brother does it, my step mom does it, my step brother does it. My IRL friends do it (& my online friends). Hell I've had coworkers complain abt something they love around me.
This is like ... normal emotion stuff. This is just what people do. Everyone I know personally does this & has my entire life.
The concept of "not interacting w/ something bcuz ur angry at [insert thing]" is not even a Thing 2 me, I've never ever thought abt doing that ever unless I am hating every single thing abt it. Which is not the case 4 sanders sides.

Just rewatched the fnaf movie!
I had fun throughout the whole movie, but definetely even more so through the second half [up from when Abby meets the robots] :]
I remembered when they showed aunt Jane there was pool of blood around her?? I don't know if I just remembered it wrong in the rush of emotions or did it actually get changed
Vanessa! She's so fun I need more of her and I need to know more
Only now it sunk in that it seems Abby already knew ghosts themselves? The day after meeting the animatronics, she talks about them like they know eachother for some time, for example with " My friends talk about her sometimes." Which, I guess in a way explains how golden freddy kid knew where she lives but still HUH
Like, freddy kid did stray some distance from his vessel so... But still how did they meet her?
All the drawings are so goofy and I love them very much
The animatronics are so goofy and scrunkly and sweet at times :] I love eevrything about them still + PLS DSHFSDHF the way that girl from the tape called them cudlly critters
CARL YOU FUCKING ANIMAL THANK YOU FOR BITING THAT FUCK WILLIAM AFTON <4 [dw I also love William but I love as much to see him suffer]
Mike is so awkward at talking
Also only on this watch I noticed that almost all the blood is cleaned up and the bodies are moved when Mike comes for his shift after jeff and the gang wreck the place
Animatronics dragging William away referencing the books BUT ALSO LISTEN At that moment there's parallel between vanessa and william,, Mike and Abby are also dragging Vanessa but towards safety, and in oppsite direction than William. The living are taking her, and saving her from death, while the dead take William to his own death
He's so smug he wants so much control even in the worst fucking situation with no escape he's still trying to belittle them and make them scared. And his lasts words threating them that they won't get rid of him, death won't stop him, he will come back.
Man the climax was so fun tho I still would love if maybe they played a little cat and mouse,,, mike and abby hiding around while william and animatronics roam, vanessa at some point appearing for confrontation with William,,, no specifics in my mind I just know this could be so fun. Either way love the climax
ALSO the segment in the style of minigames at the start and then those spelled out letters like in [I think] fnaf 2 minigame[s] really tie this together
#willrant#fnaf movie#fnaf#fnaf spoilers#fnaf movie spoilers#sorry but I'm getting more and more attached to these characters#they're really fun even if not complex [some have potential for more complexity tho]#...also still better than we got for most game charactersespeciallyMikeandVanessa-

currently thinking about this fnaf fangame called the glitched attraction that was done really well imo and it makes me wish that the mainstream fnaf games were like that. it's based off of an escape room where each series of puzzles lets you advance to the next room, and each room is like a slice of almost every fnaf game (iirc it's 4, 2(???????), 3, sister location, ennard fight, pizza sim, then security breach ending sequence i might be missing an area) and the player can freely move around the room they're in. the movement feels like a perfect blend between the open world concept they were going for in security breach with the restriction of movement that they had in the past games, where yeah you have a chance to hide and/or defend yourself from the animatronics, but you're still trapped in a room while they're coming for you. everything was handled amazingly, except for the jumpscares imo.
trigger warning: i will be going into graphic descriptions of death during this, please be careful and don't continue if you're not comfortable with them
jumpscares in fnaf and throughout other mascot horror games in general have recently been "off" for me, and i haven't been able to figure out why until i thought about how player death was handled in batim. whenever the ink demon shows up (thinking about chapter 3 appearances because oh my god those were done so well i wish they continued) and spotted henry, there wasn't any screamer or jumpscare screen when he caught him. it was a harsh cut to black as you listened to his strangled gasp for his last breath. that's honestly kind of refreshing to have in the sea of loud, startling jumpscares aiming to get a reaction out of the player. dark revival still kind of holds onto this whenever audrey's killed by normal enemies, but whenever she's killed by the ink demon (which is already a bit of a disappointment compared to batim ch 3), it's the standard intense sound effect and jittery screen effect as the mascot horror monster kills you. granted, he's actually animated killing you, but it still feels off compared to what we got in the previous game.
you never actually see how your player character dies during jumpscares. freddy just screams and chomps around at the air while spazzing out in front of the camera before it cuts to black. the sister location animatronics open up their face plates and scream. pizzeria simulator. bottom text. how do they kill the player? how do they act and move? i want to see research into how bears maul implemented into freddy's kill animation. i want mangle to have an amalgamation of python/anaconda behavior with fox behavior. and as my friend brought up when i was talking about this, i want monty to death roll.
some of the more graphic ideas i had that would most likely shoot the game up to an M rating are watching an animatronic's jaws close around your head for the cut to black accompanied by the sound of bones snapping, watching as ennard impales your torso and starts the process of using you as their human disguise, and watching a monster rear back and slash at your neck. like PLEASE if you want your game to be horror then make it Horrifying. stop marketing to kids and content creators for easy youtube popularity. stop making games for the sake of cash grabs. put passion back into games. they're supposed to be fun, interesting, and immersive, not the digital equivalent of a popeye's biscuit left on the counter for weeks on end before packaging it and calling it "high quality."
tldr i want horror games to be horrifying and the mascot horror industry should be quaking in their boots the moment i can make games
#gamers want me devs fear me#fnaf#five nights at freddy's#batim#bendy and the ink machine#average game design rant as i pick out the smallest detail and think way too hard about it#just a ramble#tw violent imagery#tw violence#tw death

crow where can i find out the whole fnaf story easily? do i just go to the wiki or is there a good video to watch online? i love the games but have never actually learned all the lore behind them and with the movie coming out i want to finally do that
an actual super short explanation that is genuinely really good and concise and covers the majority of the plot is this video right here! this is probably the kind of thing you’re looking for and it sums everything up way better than i think i ever could tbh
however. long-winded response with extra details below lol
so i do want to start with saying that there Really isnt an easy explanation for a lot of the lore of the games bc so much of it is still heavily debated, to the point that even a lot of the basic timeline is pretty open for interpretation. that said, theres a good few commonly accepted timelines and theories that tend to be very similar to each other with only minor differences (such as swapping the order in which a few deaths happened early on), but part of why i really love fnaf so much is because the plot holes and inconsistencies make the story feel more involved as you try to figure out how you think everything happened. all this to say that my answer (and the video’s answer) is probably different from the next person’s answer which is different from the next person’s and so on
also despite being deeply obsessed with these games for like 9 years now, i havent read any of the books at all! the books and games (and movie) are viewed as being different canons, even as far as having different children in the main characters’ families in the books compared to the games. so my answer is only going to be about the games.
NOW while i love that video, for the sake of being concise it does miss a few things! and instead of sending you on a scavenger hunt to find answers for each specific thing i figure it would probably be easier (and more fun for me tbh. mostly the second part. i really love these games) to just briefly explain some of them:
the storyline order of the games: this is slightly complicated because of the cutscenes and main gameplay often taking place at different points in the storyline. some bits and pieces can be argued about what order they happened in, but my personal timeline is:
fnaf 4 cutscenes (bite of ’83)
fnaf 4 gameplay (evan’s nightmare coma following the bite of ’83)
fnaf 5 gameplay (sister location)
fnaf 2 gameplay (ends with the bite of ’87)
fnaf 1 gameplay
fnaf 3 cutscenes (william gets springlocked) (im torn putting this one here tbh but elaborating on that would make it more confusing i fear lol)
fnaf 3 gameplay (fazbear frights)
fnaf 6 gameplay (pizzeria simulator)
fnaf 7 gameplay (ultimate custom night, not a canon game to my understanding, but i really like including it, personally)
who do you play as in each game: like the timeline, some of these games are pretty clear on who you play as, and some are still debated a bit (i’m looking at you “fritz”). some of these are just heavily theorized, some are essentially confirmed. for the sake of simplicity, i’m just going to list them all together though.
michael afton: fnaf 1 (as “mike scmidt”), 3 (unnamed), 5 (as “mike”/“eggs benedict”), 6 (unnamed)
“evan” afton: fnaf 4
william afton: likely fnaf 7
jeremy fitzgerald (no that name has not been mentioned elsewhere in here, this is his only appearance shoutout jeremy, he showed up, nearly got murked, and never came back): fnaf 2 nights 1-6
fnaf 2 night 7 is where “fritz” comes into play: i think hes michael, as he was fired for similar reasons to “mike scmidt,” but from what i’ve seen this is still debated a bit, so im giving fritz his own section
evan’s name: we don’t actually know his name, but “evan” is the most commonly used fanon name and has been for years now. not that important but just in case you see someone calling him another name such as CC, which stands for crying child (because his sprite in the cutscenes in the game was almost always crying)
the order of the murders: the video i linked quickly covers the murders of the five children (susie, jeremy (not fitzgerald), fritz (also not the possibly michael fritz, i do not know why scott only knows like 10 names), gabriel, and cassidy), charlie emily, elizabeth afton, evan afton, and michael afton. to my knowledge, the only confirmed sequence of these deaths are actually:
susie, the little girl who haunts the chica animatronic, was the first one to be killed
evan died in 1983 (the bite of ’83)
michael died last
while the rest are usually left to fanon and theorized timelines.
the bite of ’87: while this has not been explicitly confirmed to my knowledge, the general consensus is that following the 6th night, a security guard during the day shift, likely the same guard you played as during the first 6 nights of this game (fnaf 2), was bitten in the head by an animatronic during the last birthday party that was scheduled at the location before it closed down due to someone (presumably william) breaking in and “using” the spring bonnie animatronic (which would later be called “springtrap” after william dies in it). the culprit behind the bite is commonly theorized to be the mangle due to the positioning of its jumpscare lining up with the player’s forehead. don’t worry, he survives though! as confirmed by the first game’s phone message that says “its amazing that the human body can live without the frontal lobe” in reference to the bite of ’87 thumbs up emoji
where the hell is anyone’s mother in these games? truly one of life’s great mysteries
have you seen the games but never heard of remnant until this video? don’t worry, it wasn’t explained until the AR game made for ios and android. it literally was not explained in the core games. you didn’t miss anything, these games are just a mess (said with all of the fondness in my heart)
movie tie-ins: WOOO MOVIE so obviously this is all speculation based on one teaser, one trailer, and audition descriptions, but so far we know we have “mike scmidt” in the movie as our main character. is he going to be a new character? is he going to be michael afton using an alias like in the game? no idea! and aside from potential leaks, we probably wont know until october 27. we also know that he has a little sister in the movie! her name is abby, not elizabeth, but its very possible she’s a similar “character” with a name swap, we really don’t know yet (also i feel that “abby” is a bit close to “baby” like the “circus baby” animatronic that killed elizabeth and that she then haunts so). we also know from audition descriptions that michael is “riddled with guilt over a tragedy in his past” which people are hoping will be the accidental manslaughter of his younger brother, as it would lend to the possibility of movie michael being michael afton. i dont really feel the need to elaborate on william speculation given its everywhere lol, but i do want to place an emphasis on vanessa being in the movie - almost certainly the same vanessa from help wanted and security breach. full transparency: i did not like her in those games because i felt she was a potentially original new villain that could’ve been cool to see after william was finally killed in pizzeria simulator, only for her to then be turned into a plot device to resurrect william. i’m in the personal camp of “let peepaw stay dead can we move on already,” so that twist annoyed me a lot lol (all the power to those who enjoyed her character/arc, but personally im just too attached to the ending of pizzeria simulator having michael and william both finally dying to enjoy the william resurrection plot like at all). given william seems to be fairly alive in the trailer, though, im hoping this means she’ll actually get to be her own character. either way, she looks like shes going to be important in this movie, so you might find her worth looking into as well!

Introduction post
Hey there, thanks for stopping by.
We're the Bugg system. We're OSDD-1B, collectively go by they/it pronouns but each of us might use different pronouns.
As of right now, here are our main fronters:
Pest
Pronouns: He/They/Bug
Age: Late 20s, early 30s
Source: Regretevator
Appearance: Tall and skinny, long white hair that reaches the bottom of his spine, 4 red eyes, two arms, some moth wings and everything else is similar to source.
Main host, however due to some circumstances, he has taken a step back for the time being. Has a partner in the system based on Poob. Tends to take a lot of stress, disappear for a bit then come back good as new apparently.
Polly
Pronouns: She/They/It
Age: Ageless
Source: Regretevator [Folly fictive who wishes to be separated from her, but still admires her from afar]
Appearance: It changes almost every time we see her, but she often has the same mask, and she tends to stay the colour red and black. There was a time when she was purple but that was only once.
Co-host. Also a protector. Likes to draw. Has two duplicates, Folly and Dolly. Does not like either of them.
Star
Pronouns: It/He
Age: Ageless
Source: The June Archives
Appearance: Similar to source, except his face is blocked out with a black box, similar to a censor box, with a red star in the middle. He also has a red star on his chest. He can also shapeshift, though doesn't do this often.
Also known as Starface. He gets aggressive at times, but as of later he has backed off due to something that happened a few days ago. Not sure if he counts as a main fronter at this stage.
Wormy
Pronouns: They/It/Any
Age: 14
Source: Regretevator and Poppy Playtime [OC]
Appearance: Quite short, even for a 14 year old. They're like a large plush toy. Their skin is yellow with orange cheeks, their hair is green and messy, just below their chin, and sometimes has pins in it. They often wear a pastel sweater that's too big for them and some shorts with no shoes. They also wear a chewlrey necklace [I am unsure how to spell this].
A system favourite, and a favourite among out friends. If anyone hurts them then the whole system is in shambles at this point. Likes clowns and circus music. Likely won't talk much.
Null
Pronouns: They/It
Age: Fluctuates between 8 and 16
Source: A laboratory thing we made up when we were younger called Pentadime.
Appearance: Short, with ashy brown skin and freckles. Their eyes and white with black tears going down their face, though they often display a neutral expression above anything else. Their hair is black and messy in a bob cut. Their ears are pointed and they have small horns that you can't really see unless they brush their hair. They don't move often from the carpet in the main room as they have mobility issues, but they're currently in a different room for the time being. They also often wear monochrome things.
Trauma holder, they're usually quiet. They like Pokemon, though.
Spring
Pronouns: He/It
Age: I'm not sure.
Source: FNaF, but I don't connect to some of the story things.
Appearance: Quite similar to Springbonnie.
Newly spawned, I'm putting myself here because we need to get our shit sorted and it seems like I'm the only one willing to do it. Not sure how long I will be staying for.
Feel free to ask us questions.
