Decided to make a shitpost animatic at the last moment before Episode 6 releases tomorrow LMAO!

This was completely improvised based on a running gag in a call I had with a friend after the trailer dropped lol! This was completed from start-to-finish in roughly 10 hours. I finished it earlier this morning but wanted to schedule it to post later in the day

I think I'm starting to like making shitpost animatics, I used to be so intimidated by the idea of making them...But this was a lotta fun! And the drawing part actually took significantly less time than I thought it would

Also ik it's at the end of the video but give me some grace for the voices fdghgfdswdefrgt I'd rather it be me trying to imitate the characters as best I can rather than use some shitty ass A.I. voicebanks cause that shit is dumb as hell and the original VAs don't consent to have their voices stolen (And also I think it makes it significantly funnier that it's just me doing all the voices hahaha)

I am SO not ready for this episode I know we're gonna get some absolute BOMBSHELL (Also if Team Pew Pew ACTUALLY wins the game/adventure because Kinger locks the fuck in at the last second, I absolutely called it, consider me a prophet)

Finished rewatching Act I of Let's Read Homestuck yesterday (Obligatory Thank you VO Nexus, you have saved me and countless others through our perilous journey reading this webcomic lol) -- it's pretty good if you'd rather have a more audio-based experience and also can't read for extensive periods of time without getting distracted every other minute like me :'D

Also it is SO strange to me that I'm having such an easy time absorbing the information right now like we're so chill, I was totally lost when I was younger, though I'm not sure if that's because my old friend was talking Act 6 events (cause the comic was still updating at the time) while I was in like Act 4 or so and had trouble following along, that or I'm just medicated now compared to then and that's making a difference HAH

Anyways I've already drawn Karkat a grand total of 4 times in the span of 48 hours, I'm in Act 2 now (I GOT SO EXCITED HEARING "WAYWARD VAGABOND" FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A DECADE, SHOUT OUT TO YOU WV FOR GETTING ME TO TRY TAB* SODA BACK THEN BEFORE IT WAS DISCONTINUED), chat I think I'm cooked dfrghjytrfgthyjtg

Day #13 of my Pride Month fan art, Marc and Nathaniel from Miraculous Ladybug! This one's a direct screenshot redraw from the show...Though, I actually haven't seen this episode lol. I swore myself off of watching ANY MORE MLB after S5 completely put me off from any future content from the show.

That being said, I did see a ton of Marcaniel edits on my feeds whenever this episode debuted, and genuinely I have no clue what happens beyond their mutual identity reveal. But like, THE SIDE SHIP HAD A MUTUAL ON-SCREEN IDENTITY REVEAL BEFORE THE MAIN FREAKING COUPLE OF THE SHOW. And y'know what? SLAY FOR THEM! Unlike the main pair, these two ACTUALLY DESERVE TO BE TOGETHER with how they're written in the goddamn show!!! (Now if we get more of them and JuleRose, I might watch ONLY THEIR EPISODES, but we'll have to see lol)

Day #12 of my pride month fan art, for my Monster High AU's versions of Frankie, Jackson and Holt!

(To preface, in the AU, Jackson and Holt have known about each other for several years prior to Frankie meeting them, so their lil existential crisis has long past them!)

"Holt's so cool, and Jackson's so sweet...All I can wonder is how I'm supposed to choose between them. Maybe they'd be okay with being a trio...? Oh, I don't know, diary!"

Frankie has quickly found themself falling for not one, but two boys. Sparks will fly when they find out Jackson and Holt are one in the same, and that they're both interested in a relationship with them, too!

This is also technically the first drawing of my AU's Jackson and Holt -- as you can see, I didn't change very much about their designs lol! Frankie and Jackson happened to own the exact same neck tie as each other, and I tried to make Holt's design lean a little more toward Jackson's (swapping the gold and white for silver and black). Also, Holt's eye scar looks more like a tattoo in canon (if it's even supposed to be a scar???), so I made it look more like an actual facial scar. During their first transformation between each other, Jackson had a strong pain in his left temple, and the flames spread out from there, forming the scar in Holt's form. Jackson also has a scar, but it's very small, looking more like a cut that didn't fully heal beside his eye.

Finally returning to my Pride month art challenge thingie (I TOLD YOU I WOULDN'T FORGET ABOUT IT!), we've got #11 (#10 is another collab so I'll post that when it's finished)! This day's couple is Alphys and Undyne from Undertale.

I was gonna draw a bonus doodle without as much detail where Alphys is like "what." out of shock hearing Undyne call her her wife GHJGFDSFG but for now it's just this. Personally I'm very happy with it!

PPG KPDH!AU - Soda Pop (Part 2 of ???)

Now FINALLY featuring our heroes, this is more or less a 1-to-1 rip from the Soda Pop scene in the movie, just in a comic form haha

Since I'm still trying to keep the general conventions of the PPG universe intact for this AU, Blossom is obviously NOT born/created as a half-demon. My thinking went to her being cursed somehow? Like, maybe HIM or another villain with dark magical powers cursed her out specifically and she didn't think anything of it until the patterns started appearing. Something like that.

Also while I didn't change the Gang's hairstyles very much beyond how I'd normally draw them, for the Puffs I did attribute a bit of their hairstyling in the AU to the Huntrix girls (though since they're in disguise here, it's not very visible lol).

Was this partly just an excuse to draw Snake and Arturo, who are lowkey my two favorite characters from the Gang to draw, yet again? Maybe XCVFBGNHGVFCDXSVB

But also like can you blame me??? Arturo looks so fucking cute in Baby Saja's outfit, and Snake with Romance Saja's outfit just feels so, correct??? Especially with the way I draw him in my art style??? It's fun to me! I think it took a little bit for Arturo to have the outfit grow on him despite it being relatively similar to his canon outfit (especially with the hat, he's probably not used to wearing hats lol). But for Snake, I like to think this outfit's kinda euphoric for him in a way? I can't really say he's the most (closeted ofc) feminine one of the group IMO without mentioning that my headcanon for that is ENTIRELY based off of him being gender-bent in PPGZ. (Arturo was ALSO gender-bent in PPGZ, but I feel like he's already so slay babygirl in canon that it goes without question LMAO!) Though, he could definitely do without all the hearts -- they make him feel like he's less intimidating haha!
