Recollection/Grieving over oneself

At first I wanted to make this just an illustration of Gears standing there with his dead stare and nothing more. Yet, yeah, it went much farther than planned and I actually like how the styles conflict with each other here. Separating the dimensions quite alright. And hey, first time trying to visualise his wife? Either case her frame was the most relaxing to draw after the figure of Charles himself.
