Photography is a big part of my creativity process. I have been taking photographs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with my Dad being a huge camera buff and he always encouraged me to take photos that would tell a story. .          .          . I love trying to capture the moments of my creativity as if they were alive in that moment. The color, the lighting, the movement of what is happening are the words for what would otherwise be just a still life image. .          .          . I learned the most about taking good photos by photographing my big tribe of kids. I honestly always had my big camera with me and no detail or event of their every day life was unimportant in the eyes of my camera. Those years spent photographing them not only allowed me to capture their life in slow motion over the years, it taught me everything about what is most important to me when it comes to snapping photos- light. .         .         . I almost never use artificial lighting for photos. Videography is a bit different, but photos just aren't the same to me without natural light. And angle is important to me as well. Fun fact: I almost NEVER take a photo standing up. I am either on my knees or on the floor. .          .         .
