It's amazing to think about that in 24 hours time, Penelope Featherington has the following things happen to her:

Accepts her fate of having a somewhat lonely marriage that at least allows her freedom.

Has that said marriage prospect ruined

Finds out that her best friend and love of her life not only has feelings for her but has been pining for her

Gets fingered in the back of a carriage

Gets ENGAGED

Survives the whirlwind of the Bridgertons

Gets in a fight with her (other) best friend, who tells her she better own up to Whistledown before she spills the beans

Goes home and writes an entire Whistledown

Manages to get the Whistledown to the printers in time (seriously the turn around on this is bonkers.)

Waits for the Whistledown to announce her engagement to her mother - because she knows it's a little dig at her mother

Best friend/love of her life/now hot fiance scolds her mother and stands up for her

Loses her virginity so hard it breaks the furniture

GETS PREGNANT

And then has the Queen offering, like, a million dollars to find out her identity.

All of that in less than 24 hours. It's more like 12 to 16 hours. No wonder this girl needs a minute to, like, breathe... or take a long nap. Did she even sleep?

Trolling aside, i think there is some great importance as to why Gege chose this specific manner of panelling for the Yuji-Sukuna confrontation in JJK 264. We can't help but think that Gege's trying to show us some sort of a parallel between Gojo and Sukuna in this situation.

In JJK, there's this interesting notion of one's decision to go "North" or "South" as explained by Nanami during Gojo's death Flashback:

And we all know, that chapter of Gojo's death is titled as "Go South", which highly implies that Gojo chose to stay as who he was, as opposed to starting as something completely anew.

Now the interesting point in the Yuuji-Sukuna confrontation is that apparently...

....the destination for the supposed train within Yuuji's domain...is "North".

Which means that Yuuji's taking Sukuna towards the North.......

They're heading towards the North.....do you guys understand what that means?? For BOTH of them??? Q C Q

honestly i don't think sqq (jiu) would have minded the accusations of preferential treatment from yqy if they'd felt true. like as children he guarded the title of being yue qi's Favorite with teeth and claws. why shouldn't he be given preferential treatment? everyone ought to know just who qi-ge likes and trusts over everyone else. and for good fucking reason--who else here is watching out for qi-ge? as peak lords he's literally 2nd in command and chief tactician, if yqy values his word over yours, then its both what makes most sense and also what he deserves.

the thing is that to sqq, being accused of being favoured by yqy over others now just feels like a sick joke, because obviously (to him) that's not the fucking case. if he actually gave him preferential treatment you'd think he'd listen to what he has to fucking say, instead of believing what anyone else tells him about sqq. you'd think, if he was yqy's favorite, he wouldn't have left him to rot.

so i think, in a setting where they reconcile after becoming peak lords, that sqq would very much slap yqy's love for him in everyones faces as a kind of power move. a kind of, "oh, you thought that was favouritism? you havent seen yet what it looks like when qi-ge lets himself favour someone."
