why do men feel the need to start a conversation with girls all the freaking time. fucking trip into the railroad and die

#just now a man saw i was carrying a cat carrier (empty) and started saying to me cat! cat! cat! to which i was like 'it's empty' bc i #assumed he was scared or something and he went 'its a cat carrier! for the vet!' and i said yeah and pretended not to hear whatever he #said next. yesterday another man sat behind us on the subway and said 'tomorrows april fool huh?' and kept talking for a while even though #we studiously ignored him #and we were all on the metro to keep company to a classmate who was scared to be in the rail station by herself bc a guy had #recently sat up next to her while waiting for the train and tried to make conversation and then went 'well i can see you're not in the mood #to talk so ill go' (<- which amazing great best case scenario in these situations fuck off)#*man not guy he wasn't our age #and while we were walking early on the day a guy walking the street opposite to us started asking if we were ok and stuff when one of us #jumped bc she saw a pigeon 😐 and we had to go out of our way to avoid going in the same direction as him #all of this in like 2 days #maybe men shouldn't be allowed outside at any time #x #* i feel like it sounds like it was just a concerned guy but it was obviously just to start talking to us bc he kept on going #and NOW a man came to stand in front of me. where did you come from. piece of shit.#oh no wait maybe he needs to get off the train #well. deserved if you ask me

Also increasingly aware that a LOT of people "manage" getting through the 40+ hour work week by sleeping less than is healthy and relying on stimulants like coffee and energy drinks to keep them going.

For people who are unwilling or unable to do this...work really does just dominate your life. Like we really should not have to rely on unhealthy practices just to have a social life or keep on top of housework or whatever.

I know I post about this a lot but I'm so TIRED all the time and it's just so depressing that this is how we're expected to spend the one life we have.

#i have to get at least 8 hours of sleep a night to even barely function #with sleep #getting ready for work #commute #cooking #and errands #I typically have maybe 2-3 hours to actually do what i want in a day #and I'm usually too tired to actually do the things i want to do #and that's with a very short commute #if i actually had a long commute I'd basically do nothing but work #i see my friends like once every few weeks or months #because we're all so fucking busy with work and have such little time for socialising #and none of us even have kids or anything!!

The manga industry, especially JUMP, needs to hurry up and do away with weekly scheduling for mangaka. There needs to better regulations put into place for their health and safety because this is pitiful. Two weeks - monthly updates should’ve already been the standard for the manga industry at this point. These money grabbers will only continue to put the lives of these artists at stake for the sake of capitalism unless some serious changes are implemented.

#it’s just???#at the end of the day all these people want to do is draw and write their stories and share them with the world #why is death from stress the end game for so many of them #this should not be part of the package when finally deciding that this is what you want to do with your life #rambling #I still never got over miura’s passing man #and Togashi is still here but he’s been suffering from the consequences of overwork #it’s just… all so bleak #fans just need to learn to be patient if these changes are ever made and to be respectful #your fav series is not gonna die just because you can’t get it right now #I’m glad that gege does this now like he takes a break every 2-3 chapters and that’s good #this should be normalized

hc that immediately after the events of the trilogy neil crashes so hard. from christmas onwards his body has been abused and in various stages of healing and he is running through it all on adrenaline. this boy wins the championship and secures his safety and i bet just turns off.

there's no nathan or riko to be running from. the season is over, he has his trophy. there is nothing immediately pressing that concerns his performance on the court or his/andrew's/the team's safety and his body finally gets to come out of fight or flight and man is he fucking tired.
