ive seen SEVERAL 'bill and mabel friendship' au's over the years and i love them all, so i figured it was about time i show the world mine!! ^^ im calling it Mabel's Muse. details under the cut!!

in this au, bill and mabel form a bond in the very early era of the show. like, early to mid season one. much like ford did, mabel lets him into her mind, and they form a close bond. she has no idea he has any ulterior motives. the rest of the shack, and honestly the town in general, chock this up to a weird "phase" of hers, referring to bill as "mabels imaginary friend". but mabel calls him her muse <3

theres a little more to it than this but its honestly still a work in progress, so take this for now and let me know if anyone would be interested in seeing more of this!!!

so bf of taigen to recover from life threatening wounds, just so he can hike all the way to kohama village from master eiji’s forge, buy the best food you can possibly find there, hike all the way back, and then proceed to promptly plop said food right in front of mizu and watch her eat all of it. dosen’t even blink. those dumplings are a childhood nostalgia food for him and he did not eat a single one. literally recovered from his injuries just enough to leave on his own, solely so he could go get food for mizu, and only for mizu. he didn’t get dumplings for anyone else, not even himself. he hates kohama, but he’ll go walk straight into the village centre that smells like the fish on his dad’s fists, just to purchase the only good thing from his childhood in that place, proceed to enjoy none of it, and offer it all to mizu with absolutely no expectations.

Percy/Nico? Literally my forever otp, i think y'all know by now how much i love them lmao

Percy/Jason? YES yes yes, a thousand times yes, they have such an amazing dynamic

Jason/Leo? The perfect Leo ship if you ask me, sweet and funny and deep at the same time, they complement each other perfectly

the ending of guardians vol 3 is so beautiful because of how fitting it is. obviously we're sad to see them all part ways, but it's what they have to do. the guardians were a family and they always will be, but they're also individual people. a happy ending doesn't mean that all loose ends are tied up and the characters never have any more problems; sometimes a happy ending is just moving on. accepting that people come into your life, change you for the better, and then it's time for you to find your new people. and that's okay.
