Personal Update

I apologize if content on my end has been a bit lackluster or slow. I'm preparing to move to a new state soon for a new job and i have a metric tone of personal drama I'm dealing with currently.

As of right now, I have no real schedule beyond just posting whatever my brain feels it can type.

But I really do appreciate you all for engaging with what I post. It hasn't even been a year and this has impacted me in such positive ways. I truly do enjoy creating content and sharing it with you all. I get into negative hesdspaces a lot, but I've always viewed this place as a true place where I can just be unserious and enjoy myself. Had to get cupcakes for kiddo’s b-day at day care, stopped for some starbucks hot chocolate cuz… well, spoiling my kiddo.

Then got to daycare to drop them off and gave the cupcakes to the daycare worker and got told i was ‘too nice’ 😂😂😂 don’t think they expected me to get doughnuts for the kid in the room who’s allergic to milk

Now i need to drive my bro to an appointment, then go to an appointment of my own

And have dinner with my husband’s family tonight

but men at 57 will write books about how 17 year old girls are soooo sexy. they will invent worlds where women have to be naked for "armor reasons." they will write songs that treat women as objects. people rush to defend them. meanwhile a woman at 35 will be like "heartbreak is hard, actually" or "i feel betrayed by a friend" or "i am struggling with something emotionally." immediately people will say stuff like this woman is 35 by the way. by the way this woman is SO OLD to be experiencing this. BY THE WAY.

im 31, almost 32. the other day a poet was blasted online because at her "big age", she had written a poem about feeling unloved. top comment was "this woman is 29 by the way." this woman is too old to still be useful, by the way. she has to behave better . maybe if she was a good wife and mother she could stop existing loudly, and the story could continue on without her. this woman has served her purpose, by the way. she's so cringe, by the way. at 29 - so old! - she still hasn't figured out that her existence should be one of shame.

The manga industry, especially JUMP, needs to hurry up and do away with weekly scheduling for mangaka. There needs to better regulations put into place for their health and safety because this is pitiful. Two weeks - monthly updates should’ve already been the standard for the manga industry at this point. These money grabbers will only continue to put the lives of these artists at stake for the sake of capitalism unless some serious changes are implemented.
