i am so angry.
Ok so i was watching beat bobby flay. Pt-br dub. Everything cool. One of the judges of that episode was alex guarnaschelli. Fucking amazing i love her. I was like yay!
Then she spoke.
And i realized.
They changed her va.
It didnt sound anything like the old one. It was so completely different. It was so offputting and i tried changing it to english and it wasnt working for some reason and i was just like!!! No!!!! Thats not her voice!!! Thats not ever so slightly similar!!!!!! Aargh!!!!!!!!
i was actually so fucking overwhelmed watching that episode i couldnt deal with such a different voice for her.
So tragic.
#corvus yaps#i was genuinely so overwhelmed#and angry#also i like talking about my niche ass interests#like cooking shows.#specially food network cooking shows#i wonder if theres tags for the chefs or the shows#there isnt one for alex guarnaschelli#:(#alex guarnaschelli#now it exists. expect more food network posting btw.

Just watched Food Network’s Ciao House and I’m underwhelmed. Love ICAG but I can never get into her shows no matter how much I try (see: Supermarket Stakeout, Alex vs. America, The Kitchen). Tbh I miss when she was on GGG. Anyway, this time the competition is trying way too hard to be a trendy reality show. I watch FN for the food and for this particular show, I wanted to learn about Italy. I’d rather they cut out the petty, staged rivalries and focus more on their beautiful setting. Never mind that it seems like their decision of who to send home was more for “shock value” than anything else.

What I love about Ted Allen on chopped is when he introduces the judges and he's always like "resteraunteur" or "executive chef" but whenever it's Chris Santos he's like "small plate rockstar and critically acclaimed cool guy!!" Or smth else wildly dramatic
#chopped#why does ted allen think chris santos is so cool#also sometimes when he introduces alex guarnaschelli you get the feeling hes about to be like#and my very best friend chef alex from the food network#like yes ted we love her too

Bobby Flay has such a smug, punchable face, but I love him on Worst Cooks so much
#he's a better host than alton brown and tyler florence#forever bummed that the season with alex guarnaschelli has been wiped from the face of the planet :(

SATURDAY SALUTATIONS
“Doc, I can’t stop singing The Green, Green Grass Of Home.” He said: “That sounds like Tom Jones syndrome.” “Is it common?” I asked. “It’s not unusual,” he replied.
I think the county fair is going on, but I'd have to get out and deal with people. And it's a good 20 minutes away. Then I'd have to spend money on fried foods when I got there.
I should have gone during the week when there would be less people but I didn't think about it. The car show would be nice, though. Parking wouldn't be a big deal on the bike, either. We'll see.
There's so much I need to do around the house though. Not that I'd actually do it if I stayed home but I need to.
The Kitchen just put a spoonful of strawberry jam into a glass of unsweet iced tea and then shook it up in a cocktail shaker. That actually sounds pretty good.
I find the Kitchen irritating because it's so artificial. Fake audience, fake set, fake hosts. HA! They're not really fake, but they are full of saccharine. It comes off as an infomercial to me. It's even worse without Alex Guarnaschelli. Sunny Anderson isn't bad, especially when she does other shows.
And now I've made myself hungry. Tune it tomorrow when I rate more cooking shows that nobody watches.
I love you, baby. You are the tastiest dish of all. RAWR!
Y'all have a great weekend.
