My absolute favorite example of lost media is the pt-br version of Steven Universe's Outro, Love Like You.

Because literally everyone who watched the show listened to the outro. I know what it sounds like, it's on the end of every episode, it's not like it's super hidden or that the episodes are lost or whatever.

You want to know why it's lost media?

In Brazil, in almost every dubbed show, in the credits they play a voiceover telling like, what studio made the dubs and the people who worked on it etc etc.

The voiceover is over the song. There's no officially released version of the full song in brazilian portuguese without the voiceover.

It's there. It's literally right here. I'm pretty sure that if you search for it in youtube it'll be there... With the voiceover. So close! But so far!

Someone made a version without the voice but it isn't oficial and it's made with editing so it doesn't count, sadly...

I'm pretty sure there's like, some other cartoons that have the same issue with the song being covered by the voiceover, but i can't remember any from the top of my head... And that's so interesting! The song is right here! But we don't have the full version!!! Because of a voiceover!!!!
