I got to the sunflower fields in Mother 3 today… man these games they just keep on destroying me emotionally and when Hinawa’s ghost or Lucas’s hallucination of her whatever it was supposed to be made me cry again I had already cried when she died I cried when Queen Mary/Maria disappeared after the 8 melodies were played I cried during EarthBound’s 8 melodies flashback these games man they’re killing me with my own emotions in the best way possible and based off what Alec said I now headcanon that Hinawa has been following around Lucas as a ghost to keep an eye on him just to make myself feel a little better I need this

Repostober Day 19: The Lost Twin (mother 3 spoilers)

I don't think I actually ever posted this in the first place. Well. Any excuse to share this again. I'm still really proud of what I made, even though I chose to be anonymous in the map's credits :^)

So, I literally just started Mother 3 for the first time. Shocking, I know. But I believe I found some slightly uncommon dialogue just by my usual clownery. If you ram into Claus in the prologue, you get this:

It's not really important, but I really love how they considered mischievous players would try this!

MOTHER characters I think would have toilet humour, categorized by game.

MOTHER 1: Pippi and Teddy by far. Ninten laughs at such jokes, but doesn't make them.

MOTHER 2/EARTHBOUND: Ness. Porky. Definitely Dr Andonuts. Jeff should get to laugh at fart jokes. As a treat.

MOTHER 3: Kumatora, as pretty much the entire fandom has agreed on. Duster too, but to a lesser extent so it's more shocking when he tells jokes of that nature. Lucas tries really hard not to laugh, but he cracks sometimes. Claus has toilet humour. Hinawa has toilet humour screw you. Alec definitely does too.
