Fragility | Caius Volturi x Reader
Pairing: Caius Volturi x Reader Summary: Caius' human mate has fallen ill.
The castle walls were as cold as the man youâd come to know as Caius, one of the Volturi kings. You hadnât meant to end up hereâdragged into the world of vampires because of a fateful connection you couldnât quite understand. All you knew was that the man with the piercing eyes and cruel tongue was drawn to you, even as he fought to keep you at armâs length. When you'd arrived at the castle, it wasn't for this reason at all. Your father, a well known influence in Italy, had been turned -- one dark night as sheets of rain fell.
After his turning, he went out of control, horrific blood thirst and confusion plaguing him and creating a monster. He'd turned your mother too, on accident. So, consequently, your entire household was summoned to the castle, forced to come before the Volturi kings. Of course, your parents were ended almost as soon as they were brought before Aro. They'd caused too much wreckage, too much confusion among Italy. After all, your family was a sort of royalty in Italy, just like the Volturi -- only you were human. There were whispers about the disappearance of your father and then about the disappearance of your family.
You were fated to be killed too. That was until Aro and Caius took a closer look at you. When you'd gathered the courage to meet the eyes of Caius Volturi in the throne room, his red predatory eyes, they were full of a mix of emotions.
Caius had looked at you as though you were an anomaly, something inexplicable and infuriating. For a moment, the throne room had fallen silent, the usual air of formality dissipating into something heavy and charged. You couldnât breathe under the weight of his gaze, yet you couldnât look away either.
Aro had been the first to break the silence. âOh, how delightful,â he murmured, his tone light but laced with intrigue. He moved closer, his pale hand extending toward you. âThere is something extraordinary about her, isnât there, Caius?â
Caiusâs jaw tightened, his lips pressing into a thin line. âExtraordinary or not,â he said coldly, âsheâs human. Fragile. A liability.â
Aroâs grin widened as if Caiusâs words only amused him. âAh, but sheâs also your mate, dear brother.â
The words sent a shockwave through the room, and you couldnât quite comprehend their meaning. Mate? Your heart pounded in your chest, but it was nothing compared to the flicker of somethingâanger? Fear?âthat passed over Caiusâs otherwise impenetrable face.
âImpossible,â Caius said sharply, though his voice betrayed a crack of uncertainty. âSheâs nothing.â
You flinched at the coldness of his tone, but Aro was quick to soothe. âOh, Caius, you canât fight fate,â he said, stepping back and gesturing toward you with a flourish. âSheâs quite intriguing, isnât she? Even Marcus agrees.â
Marcus, the quietest of the three, simply nodded, his ancient eyes watching you with something that felt like pity. âThe bond is there,â he said softly. âUndeniable.â
Caius glared at Marcus, but his defiance faltered when he looked at you again. His crimson eyes narrowed, and for a moment, you thought he might lash out. Instead, he turned abruptly, his cloak billowing as he stormed out of the room without another word.
After that day, your life in the Volturi castle became a strange blend of luxury and imprisonment. You were given quarters that rivaled those of royalty, with silk sheets, fine clothes, and meals prepared to perfection. But the grandeur did little to ease the tension of your situation. You were watched constantly, your every move monitored by guards who reported directly to Caius.
He avoided you at first, his disdain for the situation evident in every clipped command he gave the others regarding your care. Yet, despite his coldness, he refused to let you leave the castle grounds. When Aro questioned this decision, Caiusâs response was curt and final: âSheâs too fragile.â
You overheard the whispers among the Volturi guard -- snippets of conversation about how Caiusâs protective streak was unusual, even for a mate. âHe wonât admit it,â Jane had said once, her cold voice laced with both amusement and curiosity, âbut sheâs already under his skin.â
The first time you saw Caiusâs care for you in full force was during a confrontation with a visiting coven. One of their members -- a tall, arrogant vampire with a cruel smirk -- had made a passing comment about the âhuman petâ in the castle. The words hadnât even fully left his mouth before Caius was upon him, his hand wrapped around the vampireâs throat.
âYou will address her with respect,â Caius snarled, his voice like ice. âOr you wonât address her at all.â
The entire room had fallen silent, and even Aro seemed taken aback by the ferocity in Caiusâs tone. The vampire stammered an apology, and Caius released him with a shove, turning to you with a glare.
âStay out of my sight,â he ordered, his voice harsh. âIf we find another issue with your coven, you will all be ended, including those with petulant disrespect on their tongues.â
Over time, Caiusâs cold exterior began to show cracks. He would linger in the shadows, watching you when he thought you werenât looking. He began to ask subtle questions about your past, your interests, your fears. At first, his inquiries felt like an interrogation, but gradually, you realized he was trying to understand you.
One evening, as you sat in the castleâs vast library, he appeared without warning. âWhy do you always sit here?â he asked, his tone less sharp than usual.
You looked up from the book in your lap, startled. âItâs quiet,â you said simply. âAnd the view of the gardens is beautiful.â
He said nothing, his gaze drifting to the window. After a moment, he sat in the chair across from you, his presence both unsettling and strangely comforting. âBeauty is fleeting,â he said, almost to himself. âBut you⌠you endure.â
The words hung in the air, and you didnât know how to respond. Before you could find your voice, he stood and left, his cloak swishing behind him.
As time passed, his moments of softness got more frequent, but always shocking to you. Though you spent most of your time alone, more and more often you found that Caius would join you in a room, sitting across it and speaking to you softly. It was almost like he didn't dare to touch you, in fear that you'd break.
For the past three days, you hadn't seen him. He was engrossed in a lengthy trial, one of the betrayal of a coven that was close in affairs to the Volturi. It was complicated and required much contemplation by the Kings and the Guard -- so you didn't think too poorly of Caius for not finding time to see you. You didn't ever expect anything from Caius. He was in a dominant position over you and came and went as he wished. But, luck would have it, you'd fallen extremely ill the first night you hadn't seen him for dinner.
The human secretary, Janine, that was tasked with checking on you when Caius was busy wasn't the most.. intelligent.. caretaker. In fact, in your sick delirium, you'd had only one accurate thought. If Caius caught wind of how she'd been caring for you, she'd be swiftly killed. After all, she hadn't even informed Caius of your illness.
The cool, marble walls of your quarters seemed to trap the heat radiating from your fever-ridden body, amplifying your misery. You lay in bed, tangled in damp sheets that stuck to your skin, every muscle in your body aching as though you had been trampled. The room blurred and swam before your eyes, but even through the fog of your illness, you registered the sound of the door creaking open.
Janine strolled in, carrying a water pitcher and a single glass with a dismissive air. She placed them carelessly on the table beside your bed, the loud clink making you wince. âHere,â she said flatly. âDrink some water. Thatâs all you need.â
You blinked sluggishly at her, the effort it took to keep your eyes open making your head throb worse. The room tilted for a moment before settling, but the indifference in her tone didnât escape you. Her presence, the lack of care in her movements, and the words themselves grated against your already fragile state. You'd known Janine was full of jealousy -- jealous of your position. You were given almost anything you wanted, though you didn't request much, but.. You were to be the wife of one of the Kings eventually. It was enough to make her distaste for you grow with every second.
You felt like death was going to come over you if you didn't at least receive something for your pain, though. You knew you needed to speak up.
"Janine. I need something stronger."
She sighed loudly, as though your request were an inconvenience rather than a genuine cry for help. âYouâre just feverish,â she said dismissively, straightening her posture as if to emphasize her superiority in the moment. âDrink the water and rest. Youâll get over it.â
Her lack of empathy left you stunned. The world swirled around you, the fever clouding your ability to argue or even react properly. You managed a faint whisper, one you werenât sure she even heard. âIf Caius knewâŚâ
She froze for the briefest of moments before her lip curled into a smirk. âCaius isnât here, is he? He has far more important matters to attend to than a sick little human. Just be grateful he even allows you to stay here.â
The tone in her voice felt like a slap, but you lacked the energy to do more than close your eyes and turn your face away. Tears prickled at the corners of your eyes, exhaustion overcoming you. If you were less weak, you would have slapped her. But you couldn't even will yourself to get out of bed.
As Janine turned to leave, the door slammed open with such force that it rattled on its hinges. The temperature in the room seemed to drop, the air growing heavier as an unmistakable presence filled the space.
It was a positive for you for the first time in the months you'd been at the castle. You knew who it was, of course. Caius's entrance into a room was always felt by everybody in it. Usually, it made you slightly anxious and a bit more self-conscious, but now, relief washed over you in waves.
âJanine.â Caiusâs voice was low, cold, and lethally calm, each syllable a knifeâs edge. It still held its usual venom, though. Enough to make you sting for hours after hearing it.
The blood drained from Janineâs face as she spun around, her smirk vanishing instantly. âMy lord,â she stammered, attempting a clumsy curtsy. âI was just--â
âYou were neglecting your duties,â Caius interrupted, stepping into the room with deliberate, measured strides. His crimson eyes flicked to you, narrowing at your pale, fever-flushed face and trembling frame. âWhat. Has. Happened?â
Janine opened her mouth to respond, but her voice faltered under his glare. âSheâs⌠unwell,â she finally managed. âI brought her water--â
Caiusâs lips curled into a snarl, cutting her off. âYou call this care? Leaving her to suffer, unattended, as though she is some insignificant pest?â
âMy lord, I--â
âEnough.â The word was sharp and final, and the weight of his authority silenced her completely. His focus shifted entirely to you as he crossed the room in two swift steps.
He sat beside you, the mattress dipping under his weight, and his icy hand brushed against your burning forehead. You flinched slightly at the stark contrast, but the relief was instant. His expression hardened further as he assessed your condition.
âWhy did you not call for me?â he asked, his voice gentler now but still tinged with frustration.
You swallowed hard, the effort painful. âDidn't.. want to bother you,â you whispered, your voice breaking on the last word. âJanine was here to check on me, and I thought your trial needed more of your attention than I did.â
Caiusâs crimson eyes narrowed, a flicker of something unreadable crossing his face. He stayed silent for a moment, as though trying to process your words, before leaning forward slightly, his gaze boring into yours. His hand, still cool against your fevered skin, shifted slightly, his thumb brushing over your temple with a gentleness you hadnât thought him capable of.
âYou thought wrong,â he said, his voice low but resolute, the frustration in his tone undercut by a strange softness. âNothing -- no one -- is more deserving of my attention than you, especially in such a state.â
You blinked up at him, surprised by both the intensity and the tenderness in his words. Caius was not one to admit weakness or vulnerability, yet here he was, clearly affected by your condition.
âYou⌠have responsibilities,â you murmured weakly, though it was hard to hold his gaze with the weight of his emotion bearing down on you.
âAnd you are one of them,â he interrupted sharply, though not unkindly. âDo not mistake my obligations for distractions. Your well-being is of paramount importance to me. More so than you seem to realize.â
The conviction in his voice made your chest tighten, though whether from the remnants of the fever or the weight of his words, you couldnât tell. Before you could muster a response, Caius glanced toward the door, his expression hardening.
âI trusted Janine to care for you, and for that, I hold her failure in the highest contempt,â he said, his voice dropping into a dangerous growl. âHer negligence is inexcusable, and she will not escape retribution.â
âCaiusâ you rasped, your voice barely above a whisper. âDonât⌠hurt her. She didnât mean--â
âShe failed you,â Caius cut in, his tone steely, though his gaze softened when it returned to your face. âAnd for that, there will be consequences. But that is no longer your concern.â
You swallowed the lump in your throat, realizing there was no use arguing. Caiusâs mind was set, as it always was when matters of justice -- or vengeance -- were involved.
He seemed to sense your unease, his expression softening further as he leaned closer, his other hand coming to rest lightly on the bed beside you. âYou are too kind, even to those who do not deserve it,â he murmured, his voice carrying a hint of admiration. âBut I will not allow kindness to become a vulnerability that others exploit. Not while you are under my care.â
Your eyes fluttered closed, the effort of staying awake and coherent starting to take its toll. Yet you couldnât help but feel a strange sense of comfort in his words, as harsh as they might have seemed. For all his coldness and cruelty to others, there was something fiercely protective in the way Caius regarded you -- something that made you feel safe, even now.
"Caius?" You gained the courage to ask quietly, willing yourself to open your eyes again. You studied his beautiful, porcelain face, his white blonde hair. His pale pink lips. "Um.. Does it bother you? Me being human?"
Caius stilled at your question, his sharp features momentarily unreadable. His crimson eyes, softened only slightly by the flickering candlelight, locked with yours. For a moment, you worried you had overstepped, that your curiosity had breached some unspoken boundary.
But then he leaned back slightly, his expression shifting into something contemplative. âBother me?â he echoed, his voice calm, though his words carried a weight that made your heart quicken. âYour humanity is⌠an inconvenience at times, yes. But that is not the same as being a bother.â
You blinked, unsure how to interpret his words. âWhat do you mean?â
Caiusâs gaze flicked away briefly, a rare hesitation crossing his face before he returned his attention to you. âIt is not your fault that you are fragile,â he began, his tone measured as though choosing his words with care. âFragility is inherent to your kind. It is⌠difficult, at times, to reconcile your mortality with the attachment I find myself unwillingly forming.â
Your breath caught at his admission, and you werenât sure if it was the fever or the weight of his words making your head spin. âAttachment?â
Caiusâs jaw tightened briefly, his crimson eyes narrowing slightly, though not in anger. âDo not make me repeat myself,â he said, though his words lacked their usual bite. âYou are... significant to me in ways I have yet to fully understand. But your humanity complicates matters.â
He leaned forward again, his cold hand brushing against your cheek with a surprising gentleness. âYou are weak, delicate, mortal,â he continued, his voice dropping to a low murmur. âAnd yet, despite every reason I should have to resent your presence, I find myself... drawn to you. It defies logic.â
His words left you stunned, a warmth blooming in your chest that had nothing to do with your fever. You searched his face, looking for any sign that he might be mocking you, but there was none. Caius was earnest, his piercing gaze unwavering as he awaited your response.
âI donât want to be a burden to you,â you whispered, the vulnerability in your voice catching you by surprise. âI donât want my humanity to be⌠a weakness.â
Caiusâs lips pressed into a thin line, his expression softening in a way that was almost imperceptible. âYour humanity is not a weakness, unlike most humans,â he said firmly. âIf anything, it is a testament to your resilience. You endure pain, illness, and fear, yet you continue to fight. That is not weakness -- it is strength.â
The intensity of his words left you speechless, your throat tightening as you fought back the surge of emotion they stirred. Caiusâs hand lingered on your cheek for a moment longer before he withdrew, his gaze flicking briefly to the water pitcher on the table.
âYou should drink,â he said, his tone softening further. âYou need your strength to recover.â
You nodded faintly, your body too weak to do much else. As Caius poured the water with a grace that seemed almost surreal, you couldnât help but marvel at the strange contradiction that he was -- a cold and unyielding king who had somehow become your most unlikely protector.
When he handed you the glass, his fingers brushing yours briefly, you whispered, âThank you, Caius.â
For a moment, something in his expression shiftedâan almost imperceptible crack in his icy exterior. âRest,â he said, his voice carrying a softness that was as shocking as it was comforting. âYou are safe here. I will see to that.â
As you drank the cool water and settled back into the pillows, the warmth of his presence lingered, chasing away the chill that had settled in your bones. Despite his protests and denials, Caius was proving to be more than the fearsome king you had once thought him to be. He was something far more complex -- and far more human.
You eventually fell asleep, stirring only when you got too warm or too cold. Although not awake, you could feel Caius's presence. If he sensed that you were too hot, he laid a gentle hand on your forehead, cooling you down. If he felt you shiver, he lifted the blankets closer to you, tucking you in further to spread their warmth across your body. You almost thought you could hear his voice, just before you fell into an uninterrupted, finally comfortable sleep.
âSuch beauty. Such compassion. A gift for a king that deserved much less than you,â He murmured, almost inaudibly. He seemed to be speaking to himself, not you. His voice was like a prayer that lingered in the silence of the room. âYou donât belong in this world of darkness, Y/n. You are light, fragile and fleeting, burning brighter than I deserve. But still, here you are. A puzzle I cannot solve⌠and yet I do not wish to.â
The warmth of his words settled over you like a protective veil, and you couldnât help but sigh in your sleep, comforted by the quiet intensity of his presence. There was something deeply private in what he had said, something he hadnât intended for you to hear. But it didnât matter. In that moment, despite everything -- the coldness, the darkness, the endless uncertainty -- you felt something unexplainable stir within you.
For the first time since your arrival in the Volturiâs lair, you allowed yourself to believe in the possibility that you might not be alone here, after all.

Itâs Youâ¤ď¸âđĽ
Summary: You went along with Bella to Italy to save Edward, but when you get there things go unexpectedly and you become mate to the strongest Volturi guard
Pairing: Felix x human female reader
â˘Masterlistâ˘
Moving into your uncles house a year ago to help him with daily chores and just keeping him company was a nice change from the hot dry weather I was use to when I lived with my mom before she passed, another reason Charlie had to take me in which I was incredibly grateful for, then a few months after I moved in my cousin Bella moved back from Arizona and she became very secretive, I swear some nights Iâd hear two voices coming through our shared wall, whenever I tried to question her about it but sheâd always brush me off just saying she was up late talking to her mom on the phone
Eventually I got fed up with all the secrets and the way she was treating me like I wasnât even in her life, so on a rare sunny day I decided to go over to the cullens house, basically Bellaâs second home, I pulled up into the drive way amazed by how gorgeous this house was, sure Carlisle was a doctor but this had to be old money to get a house like this around this area
I got out of my old car and knocked three times against the door, after a while and a few faint angry whispers Bella finally opened the door which I find odd since this isnât her house
âY/n what are you doing here? You shouldnât be hereâ
âIâve had enough of the secrets and how youâve treated me, weâre family Bella and Iâm alone here I just want to be close again like we were as kidsâ
âWell weâre not kids anymore y/n I have my own lifeâ she said a hint of anger laced with worry in her voice
âIâm not asking for your attention 24/7 I just want a friendâ I said upset as I fiddled with my fingers
âOkay im sorry im just stressed, ill make a better effortâ
And after that we spent a bit more time together, then Edward left, him and his whole family just up and left leaving Bella in a deep despair, her sorrowful shrieking screams at night draining me and Charlie, and the worst was I didnât know how to help, I tried getting her out of the house or even just sitting in the living room with her to keep her company but I could still see how broken she was
After months and her seeing Jacob she slowly started to get better, one night I was up in my room reading when a commotion broke out downstairs, I ran down seeing Bella, Jake and Alice arguing in the kitchen
âWhat the hell is going on?â But before anyone answered Alice spoke
âBella itâs Edward, Rosalie told him why I came, he thinks heâs dead, he wants to die tooâ everything was moving so fast, Bella and Alice were running out to her car and I was still in the dark with everything
âBella whatâs going on youâre scaring meâ I said looking through the car window
âI canât explain I have to goâ
âWell youâre not going without me, Iâve stuck with you through this and Iâm not leaving nowâ I said matter of factly hopping in the back, Alice gave Bella a wary look before she speed off to the airport, having no clue where we were going until we landed, when Alice finally told me we were in Italy, the scenery zooming past as she drove through town after town until we came upon a old castle town, swerving through a crowd all dressed in robes, Bella went running off and Alice found somewhere to park as we too started making our way through the crowd on foot now
âAlice you still havenât told me whatâs going onâ she gave me a gentle smile as we came upon the castle
âYouâll find out soon enough, all I can say is that your life is about to changeâ her words sent nervous butterflies fluttering in my belly
With what must have been a surge of adrenaline Alice broke the lock on the castle door and we entered feeling the cold air breeze over me, cooling me down from the hot Italian heat
Seeing Edward with Bella and he looked dreadful and just behind them a shorter blonde man with piercing ruby red eyes, accompanied by a very tall man and as my eyes gazed over his body from his feet all the way up to his eyes my world stopped, I felt this pull to him like Iâve never felt before, a man I donât know had this hold on me that I never wanted to get out of, our eyes never looking away from eachother until a smaller girl broke our trance
âAro sent me to see what was taking so longâ
âI wonât be needing your assistance anymoreâ
âNever the less aro would like a wordâ
Alice squeezed my shoulder reassuringly as we all followed the blonde girl into a now crammed elevator, with the lack of space my back was pressed up against the tall beautiful man with the ruby eyes
As my adrenaline finally faded away I was left with the realization that I have no idea what Iâve gotten myself into, Aliceâs super strength, the ruby eyes of the strangers around me, the secrecy , it was finally scaring me feeling my heart beat so hard I could hear it and if on air a big hand gently rubbed up and down my back slowly settling my nerves, normally having a strange man touch me would have me running for the hills but there was just something about this ethereal man that I donât even know the name of, that soothed my soul, like nothing bad could ever happen as long as Iâm by his side
The elevator stopped with a ding, opening to reveal a long stone hallway with torches perched on the walls, giving a very eerie vibe to the whole situation, his hand still on my lower back leading me in the direction everyone else was walking til we got to these big doors that his touch went away making me whine for some reason
The little blonde girl pushed open the huge doors effortlessly to show a gorgeous marble room with three thrones with three men sat upon them
âSister they send you out for two and you come back with two and a two halfâsâ a younger guy said as the blonde girl went and stood by his side
âAhhhh Bella is alive fantasticâ on of the three men stated standing infront of us
âAnd who is this?â He said glancing at me with those similar ruby eyes
âIt seems one of our family has found their mateâ the other glum man said
âWhat? Mate? What do you mean? Please just someone tell me what is happeningâ I asked overwhelmed as my bottom lip wobbled
âOh dearâŚ..may I?â The enthusiastic man asked as he held out his hand
Confused but I placed mine in his as he stared deep into my eyes
âIt seems this beautiful girl doesnât know a thing about us, she merely came to support her cousinâ
âFelix how about you take her to your room and explain everything as we deal with this situation hereâ
âYes masterâ his hand was on my back again as he led me out of the room back into the hallway
âFelixâŚ..I like that nameâ his name sounded nice, sounded right, he looked down at me with the most loving look I could have ever seen
âAnd what might your name be mio amore?â
âY/nâŚIâm y/nâ
âBeautiful, a beautiful name for the most beautiful girlâ Iâve never been treated like this before and it had my heart soaring
Finally we made it to a wonderful spacious room, the ceiling high, brown stone walls with red and black accent decor, with a glamorous bed in the corner with red silk sheets
âSit my darlingâ he said gesturing to the bed so we sat face to face, he gently took my hands in his like I was made of glass
âWhat did he mean? Am I your mate? And what does that mean?â
âIâm surprised you havenât figured it out butâŚâŚwe are vampires and so are the cullens, vampires have mates and some of us are lucky enough to find them, weâd do anything for our mates like Iâll do anything for you, to make you happy and safeâ
His words had me frozenâŚâŚvampires were real? And Iâm mated to one, a gorgeous one at that but still this was all so much
âThisâŚ..this is a lot to handle Felix, I mean this is all so new to me Iâve never had a relationship before and definitely not with a vampire, sure youâre extremely handsome but I still donât know what to doâ his smile softened then slowly turned into a smirk
âYou think Iâm handsome little one?â He asked tucking a strand of hair behind my ear making the blood rush to my cheeks
âOf course anyone with eyes can see thatâ
âYou never have to be worried with me, we can take this slowly, Iâve waited forever for you amore, I can wait a little longer until youâre comfortableâ his hand caressing my cheek
I felt more relaxed at his words
âSo what now? Do I have to go back to forks? If I do we will never see eachotherâ my heart clenched at the thought
âIf your heart desires you can stay here, but only if thatâs what you want, because I know my heart couldnât handle us being apart, but itâs whatever you want tessoroâ
âIâŚâŚI want to be with you Felix, pleaseâ
âThen you will stay with my little oneâ I had the answer to Aliceâs words, my life was going to change but all for the better
Comment if you wanna be tagged in this seriesâ¤ď¸

Hello!! I'm so sorry to ask but if it's okay can you do a thingy with the Volturi (all of them please) on how they would react to their human mate being on their đŠ¸đŠ¸if you know what I mean. If not that is completely understandable and okay! Thank you for reading!! :3 đšđŤś
đđđđđđđ
Contains some nsfw thoughts. I've been thinking of writing a period nsfw fic with one of the vamps, lmk what you think
Aro, like most vampires, has been around for a long long time. And though he does not regard humans as being worthy of his time, you are different. You are his mate. And so he takes it upon himself to learn everything. To read studies, to understand your experience, to know what he can do to help you. The Volturi donates to charities of endometriosis and others. Even long after you are turned he continues, the money is nothing to him and even though you no longer live you know. Aro will always do his best to understand you
Marcus would be so attentive with you and just do as you ask. He's a rather mellow and agreeable man (at least with you he is) and so he is more than happy to be at your beck and call. Want space? you got it. Want to basically be one with him from how close you are? He's laid down and waiting for you to get yourself comfortable. The man just keeps his mouth shut and does as you ask. Happy wife happy life, a phrase taken a little to literally for him in her every moment.
Caius just wants to eat you out honestly. Please ride his face, let him eat you out and taste your blood. He has also heard that it can help with any cramps and pains so, not to worry, dear Caius is at your service. Who is he to refuse you? To refuse a meal and a feast all in one would just be wrong.
Jane only experienced them for a few years, and though she doesn't necessarily remember them she is the most empathetic. Outwardly she may not do much - but in the privacy of your own shared chambers there is nothing you can compare. Nothing soothes like her gentle touch, or the natural remedy passed from her grandmother to her mother to her, and now you.
Alec is another who is at your beck and call, and though he will perhaps tease you a little, he wouldn't take it too far. Sly comments and little pokes are common, but all in good jest. He would never want to actually upset you of course, but if it brings a little smile to your face with an exasperated roll of your eyes then at least he knows you're happy. And if you're happy then so is he.
Demetri also eats you like a man starved. He doesn't care if there is blood all down him, or all in his mouth. You are gorgeous, ravishing even, and he just can't get enough. He could live buried between your thighs, especially during that time of the month. The taste of you is unlike any other to him, and we all know that this man likes it a little dirty and rough.
Felix calls you his whiny baby but still is there for whatever you may need. Tummy rubs, head scratches, couples yoga, he's got you. Don't want to walk or even stand? He's picked you up from the same comfortable position you were in to move you to the fresh bubble bath he's ran for you, setting you down gently in there. Honestly, you could cry from how much you love and appreciate him. Whiny baby, you just need to be loved, don't you?

Eternal life| Demetri volturi x reader.
warnings: smut, choking, female orgasm.
âpretty girl- did you really think youâd get away with that?â
Demetri had her pinned against the wall with his hand around her throat- fingers squeezing the warm skin with ease as he forced her to look into his eyes, the once beautiful shade of red had become sullen and burgundy.
his fingers gave another squeeze as he awaited an answer but she couldnât form one, only looking at him with big eyes as she clamped her thighs together as the familiar warmth of arousal crept between her legs.
âuse your words, little oneâ
his voice was like silk as he whispered into her ear as he brought his face closer to hers, pressing his nose into her temple as he breathed in her scent deeply: lavender and vanilla.
Demetri almost forgot why he was furious with his mate as he breathed her in, she smelt heavenly and he knew she tasted of heaven too.
âiâm sorryâ she whispered with big eyes, cloudy with lust and excitement as she chewed on her bottom lip, desperately trying to buck her hips into his, grinding down onto his thigh that was placed inbetween her dripping core.
he only stared down at her with a smirk and lewd look in his eyes.
it wasnât her intention to make him jealous or angry with her in the slightest, she had laughed at something one of the lower guards had said, it was unintentionally funny and she couldnât stop the melodic giggle that escaped her mouth and unfortunately for her, her mate didnât take too kindly to her having any sort of interaction with someone beneath his stature, let alone another man.
âla mia bellissima ragazzaâ he whispered in her ear, the sweet sound of his voice sent shockwaves straight to her pulsing core, the wetness between her legs seeped further down flesh of her thighs.
the sweet girl called out her lovers name, batting her disney eyes as his name fell loosely out of her mouth and within seconds, her mates eyes softened as he stared down at her lovingly.
Demetriâs eyes gazed over her human features, the hand that was once around her throat had begun to caress her rosy cheeks, stroking his thumb sweetly over the soft skin of her face as she stared at him with those beautiful doe eyes he adored.
he traced the pad of his finger alongside the grin she wore as she peppered a kiss on the tip of finger before letting her tongue run over it, almost as if she was testing the waters. he didnât want to play games but he couldnât deny the giddy feeling that bubbled within him as he watched his beloved and her filthy fascination with his hands.
Demetri gave his mate a knowing look, his eyes glaring down at her with such awe and lust as he watched her elope his finger, the warmth of her tongue coaxing around his cold skin, it was enough for him to let out a little moan.
âsuch a naughty girlâ he said to her as he removed his finger from her mouth with a pop, she was quick to swallow her whine as he took a step back from her, drinking in her disheveled appearance. he hadnât even touched her and she was a trembling mess.
âpleaseâ the sweet girl pleaded as she reached for her immortal, tugging at the front of his open shirt in desperation.
Demetri looked at her with hungry eyes and laughed at her, taking another step back.
the further he drew himself from her, the more he could see her quivering figure, he hadnât even touched her and she was falling apart and he loved to see it. âpleaseâ she repeated, clenching her thighs together in want.
âbegâ was all Demetri said.
Demetri smiled cruelly at her as he held out his hand for her to grab, which she did, he ran his thumb over her supple flesh as he pulled her towards the bed, shoving her down gently so her face was buried in the silk sheets.
she looked up at him once again, her eyes wide and teary as she begged him to have his way with her. she spoke honeyed words, telling him how she wouldnât look in the direction of another man again and he knew she wouldnât but he couldnât let the fun be over with this quickly.
Demetri looked at his lover in awe, his eyes filled with admiration as he reached down to grab onto her, his hands caressing at her skin gently, rubbing the curves of her waist as he dipped his face low enough to capture her lips in a kiss.
âneed you- so badâ she whimpered against his mouth, trying her best to turn her neck into him.
Demetri let out a low growl at the taste of her lips. he would never get enough of her taste, she was like a forbidden fruit, the sweetest in the garden.
her tongue danced with his, the lewd sound of them kissing echoed around their chambers, along with her soft moans and whimpers as he pulled away from her so she could catch her breath. she was human after all.
Demetri wasted no time in having his face between her thighs, lapping at her sweetness, throwing head back in ecstasy as her lover drank up her slick. his arms wrapped around the back of her thighs, nails digging slightly into her pale skin as she arched her body into his touch.
his lover cried out in pure bliss as her orgasm neared, clenching her hole around Demetriâs fingers as they teased at her tightness.
âthatâs it my love, let goâ Demetri whispered against her pussy, watching in adoration as she let herself become undone from his touch.
Demetri moaned at her taste, quick to swallow every drop of her essence as it began to drip from her, she quivered under his touch, legs shaking as she tried to grasp her breath from the insatiable pleasure she had just encountered.
he pressed a chaste kiss to her inner thigh, and then her hip, kissing all way up to her body until he got to her face. she let out a giggle as she wrapped her hands around her mates head, tugging at the ends of his hair gently.
âyou arenât done are you?â she teased him, letting her lips drag across his throat, nipping slightly at his stone skin.
âonly just getting startedâ he growled as he pulled her in for a harsh kiss, his eyes completely black as he looked down at her.
it didnât take her long to beg again, wanting to feel him inside of her, filling her up, over and over until she passed out from exhaustion.
Demetri let out a deep chuckle, laughing at his needy girl as she tugged the shirt of his body with shaky hands, he was quick to stop her, bringing her fingers to his mouth as he kissed the tips of them sweetly.
âpatience principessa. weâve got eternityâ
and that you did. it wasnât going to be long before you became like him, he wanted to cherish moments like this whilst you were still human.
the distant memory of why he was angry at her was forgotten as he revelled in the beauty of his sweet girl.

â twilight masterlist

The grand entrance hall of Volterra, Italy, echoed with the weight of centuries-old secrets and power. It was within these ancient stone walls that the Volturi, the ruling vampire coven, held their dominion. Aro, Caius, and Marcus, the three elder vampires who led the coven, sat upon their thrones, their crimson eyes filled with an ageless wisdom.
Their previous secretary had met an unfortunate end, her fate sealed by a single, costly mistake. Now, it was time to find a new secretary, one who could handle the delicate matters that crossed the Volturi's path.
(Y/n), a human with a reputation for competence and diligence, stood before the Volturi leaders. She pushed her glasses up on her face, the light catching the lenses and reflecting an intense determination in her gaze. She had no intention of failing in this prestigious role.
Aro, the most talkative of the trio, addressed her with a smile that didn't reach his eyes. "I trust you won't follow in our previous secretary's footsteps. Her errors cost her dearly."
(Y/n) met Aro's gaze with unwavering confidence. "No need for the warning, sir. I take my work very seriously. I'm here to ensure that every detail is meticulously attended to."
Caius observed her with a critical eye, his expression stern. "You are aware that our affairs are highly confidential, and discretion is of the utmost importance?"
(Y/n) nodded, her resolve unshaken. "Absolutely, sir. My lips are sealed, and I understand the consequences of breaching that trust."
Marcus, the most reserved of the three, merely regarded her with a measured gaze. "We shall see if your actions align with your words."
(Y/n) straightened her posture, ready to take on her new responsibilities. "You won't be disappointed, gentlemen."
With that, she accepted the role of secretary for the Volturi, stepping into a world of secrecy, power, and ancient vampires. As she walked away, she knew that she had taken on a role unlike any other, one that demanded her utmost dedication and discretion. The reflection of her determination in those glasses was a symbol of the resolve she brought to her new position, one that she intended to uphold at all costs.
(Y/n) settled into her new role as the secretary for the Volturi with a fierce dedication. Her efficiency and attention to detail quickly became apparent to the coven's leaders. Aro, always one to appreciate those who could fulfill his demands promptly, decided to put her to the test.
One afternoon, he strolled into her office, his graceful presence demanding attention. (Y/n) looked up from her desk, her fingers flying across the keyboard of her computer as she organized files and scheduled appointments.
"Ah, (Y/n)," Aro greeted her with his customary smile. "I have a task for you."
(Y/n) nodded, ready to take on any request from her employer. "Of course, master Aro. What do you need?"
Aro explained, "I need you to post an aid about a tour for fifty people for tomorrows feeding, a rather impromptu event. I would like you to schedule it for me.â
(Y/n) didn't miss a beat. She continued typing on her computer, her eyes darting across the screen as she worked her magic with scheduling software. "Consider it done, master Aro."
Aro was taken aback by her speed and efficiency. He had expected this task to take some time, but within mere minutes, (Y/n) turned her screen toward him, displaying a perfectly organized tour for fifty attendees, complete with dates, times, and an itinerary.
His crimson eyes widened with a mixture of surprise and admiration. "You work remarkably fast, (Y/n)."
(Y/n) looked up with a confident smile. "I pride myself on being efficient, master aro. Is there anything else you need?"
Aro chuckled, clearly impressed. "Not at the moment, my dear. Carry on with your excellent work."
As he left her office, (Y/n) couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. She had proven her worth to the Volturi leader, and her efficiency would undoubtedly serve her well in this world of secrecy and power.
In the serene garden of the Volturi castle, Marcus often found solace among the flowers that his late mate had once lovingly tended to. He wandered the garden, lost in his own thoughts, the weight of his immortal life bearing down on him.
One day, as he strolled along the carefully manicured paths, Marcus noticed something extraordinary. The flowers that had once withered away had begun to regrow, vibrant and beautiful as if brought back to life by some unseen force. He couldn't help but be struck by the sight, the memories of his mate's love for these flowers flooding his mind.
Marcus approached a lower guard who was on duty nearby, his curiosity piqued. "Who has been taking care of the garden? These flowers, they are flourishing once more."
The lower guard, a vampire who had served the Volturi for centuries, nodded respectfully to Marcus. "It is the human, my lord."
"The human?" Marcus asked, intrigued. "What is their name?"
The guard, who knew the human by the name the Volturi called her, replied, "The secretary (Y/n), my lord."
Marcus considered this revelation, the name sparking a distant memory. He had heard the name (Y/n) mentioned in passing, but he had paid little attention. Now, it seemed this human was not only tending to the garden but also reviving the memories of his lost mate.
With a nod of appreciation, Marcus continued to admire the blooming flowers, a silent acknowledgment of the human named (Y/n) for her care and dedication. In the garden, among the resurrected blooms, he felt a connection to his past and a glimmer of hope for the future, all thanks to the efforts of this mysterious human.
In the dimly lit halls of the Volturi castle, Caius, one of the coven's leaders, was growing increasingly frustrated. He had been searching for his favorite cloak, a luxurious garment of deep crimson, for what felt like an eternity. His irritation had escalated to the point where his voice echoed through the corridors as he yelled at everyone in his path.
"Where is it? Who has taken my cloak?" he bellowed, his tone venomous.
Vampires scurried to avoid his wrath, their wide-eyed expressions betraying their fear of their temperamental leader.
In the midst of the chaos, a soft and calm voice cut through the tension. "(Y/n)," Caius snapped, his crimson eyes narrowing as he turned to face the human secretary, "(Y/n), have you seen my cloak? I cannot find it anywhere."
(Y/n) stepped forward, holding Caius's missing cloak draped carefully over her arm. Her voice was composed, unruffled by his outburst. "Master Caius, you left this in your office. I've noticed it had specks of dried blood on it, so I've had it dried clean."
Caius was momentarily taken aback, his anger dissipating as he processed her words. He couldn't believe it. The usually distant and indifferent human secretary had not only found his cloak but had taken it upon herself to ensure it was cleaned.
"(Y/n)," Caius said, his voice softer now, "you did this for me?"
(Y/n) nodded, her gaze steady as she met his crimson eyes. "Of course, Master Caius. It's my duty to assist in any way I can."
Caius, still in disbelief, reached out to take the cloak from her arm. His fingers brushed against hers, and he felt a strange, unfamiliar sensation stir within him. He couldn't deny that her thoughtfulness had left a mark on him, one that he couldn't easily dismiss.
As (Y/n) excused herself and left the hallway, Caius watched her retreating figure with a newfound appreciation. It was a small gesture, but one that had touched him deeply, and he couldn't help but wonder if there was more to this human secretary than met the eye.
The grand trial room within the Volturi castle was filled with a weighty silence as the three kings, Aro, Caius, and Marcus, gathered for a discussion. The subject of their conversation was none other than their human secretary, (Y/n).
"She's good at her job, almost too damn good," Aro commented, his eyes gleaming with intrigue. "I can't seem to find a simple mistake in her work."
Caius nodded in agreement. "She's quick, and her work is effective. It seems we'll be keeping her around long-term."
Marcus, who often remained silent, offered his approval with a subtle nod.
The kings reached a unanimous decision. They would offer (Y/n) a gift, one that would bind her to the Volturi for eternity. They sent their most trusted enforcers, the twins Alec and Jane, to fetch her.
Alec and Jane, swift and efficient as always, found (Y/n) in her office. They approached her with the precision of a well-practiced routine.
"(Y/n)," Alec began, his tone even, "the masters request your presence in the trial room."
(Y/n) blinked in surprise but complied, following the twins to the room where the three kings awaited.
Once inside, (Y/n) stood before the Volturi leaders, her heart pounding with anticipation. Aro spoke first, his voice dripping with charm.
"(Y/n), in the short months you have been with us, your dedication and efficiency have impressed us greatly," Aro said, his crimson eyes locked onto hers. "We value your contributions, and we would like to offer you a gift."
(Y/n) couldn't hide her surprise. "A gift, masters?"
Caius stepped forward, his gaze unwavering. "We offer you immortality, (Y/n). A chance to join our coven as one of us."
The offer hung in the air, a life-altering decision that (Y/n) had never expected. She considered her options carefully, her thoughts racing. The weight of eternity was a heavy burden to bear, but the allure of becoming part of the Volturi coven was undeniable.
After a moment of reflection, (Y/n) finally spoke. "I'm not sure what to say, masters, but thank you for the offer."
With her acceptance, the kings nodded in approval. The twins, Alec and Jane, moved closer, their hands lightly touching her body. âAlec -â aro calls out and in second Alec has (y/n) wrapped in his dark smoke, her senses numbing within seconds. âDonât worry dear, itâll be over in no time.â
Over the course of three days, (Y/n) underwent the agonizing process of the vampire transformation. She endured the fire of change, sometimes which were numbed by Alec per the kings request and now she was emerging from the ordeal as a newborn vampire, her senses heightened and her existence forever entwined with the Volturi.
As her eyes fluttered open in her new immortal life, (Y/n) realized that she had become a permanent part of the Volturi coven, her loyalty and dedication recognized in the most profound way possible.

Volturi guard X Fem! Human reader who prefers to drink animal blood headcanons.
Summary: Their human partner tells them that they want to feed on animal blood instead of human blood. How would they act?
ââââââ⧠𦢠â§ââââââ

Demetri Volturi
Even though Demetri is a loyal member of the Volturi, not to mention essential to them, being with you and having such strong ties changed everything. Of course, he would know what it meant and the big change, no vampire there was vegetarian, if that's what you mean, he knew that the leaders played a role there too, but he would still show a lot of understanding towards your wishes.
Although he would feel worried for your safety; drinking animal blood might be less satisfying for you, not to mention it could make you more vulnerable in dangerous situations. That little beeping would be in Demetri's head constantly. Demetri just wants to make sure that you are well enough so that he can protect you in critical moments where he can't be there. He trusts you, he does completely, he knows that once you leave your mortality behind you will become stronger, and yet the worry would still be with him for quite a while.
He would try to find solutions, he doesn't want to interfere with your wishes, on the contrary, Demetri wants to fulfill each one of them, but he also wants you to be safe, so he would try to balance your wishes with the expectations of the Volturi. Sometimes having internal debates between his loyalty to his own and supporting you. It is known that the Volturi do not usually tolerate deviations from their rules, which makes Demetri find himself in a complex position when thinking about the possibility that your request is rejected and you suffer from having to feed on something you do not want.
He wants to understand you, to know your reasons, that is why he decides to have a talk with you where both could talk properly and negotiate the best for both. Taking your hands in his while he kisses them, wanting to support you in everything he can, because he is still kind to you, as kind as he had always been. He just wants to reach an agreement where your safety and his position within the Volturi are not put at risk.
He would be very understanding with you, in addition to his strong desire to want to find a solution, even after you went ahead sure of your decision, Demetri would accept it without any annoyance, just hoping for the best. Deciding that the best thing would be to seek permission from his leaders for you to continue on your own path.
His body seemed to have taken a huge weight off his shoulders when the answer finally came and everyone accepted. Maybe it wasn't simply out of kindness, it seemed more because of Aro's own greed, who seemed delighted with all this. Maybe because there was no one in his clan who was vegetarian and it would be a good way to study it and see the effects it would have on a vampire. Whatever the case, the vote had been yes so Demetri could come back to you with good news.
And as the days passed and the time of your transformation drew closer, Demetri hoped that everything would go well, having his complete trust in you. He knew that you could do well and if that was what you wanted, to drink animal blood so as not to kill humans, he would agree. Even if you later regretted it and decided to go back on your decision, he would always support you.

Felix Volturi
Drinking human blood is an integral part of his identity and Felix's way of life so your preference to drink animal blood would be something that would challenge his beliefs and customs.
Initially, Felix might feel confused and even a little frustrated. He might question your decision, worried about how this might affect your strength and ability to protect yourself. In his clan and most vampires in general, drinking human blood is seen as a source of power and vitality, while drinking animal blood is seen as a weaker option.
However, due to his great loyalty and love for you, Felix would go out of his way to understand and accept your choice. If you were happy, then so would he. He would just be worried, he wanted you to be out of reach in case he couldn't protect you, because if something were to happen to you he wouldn't forgive himself.
He would support you and try to make sure that once you were turned you were safe and well fed, he knew it would also be difficult for you to adapt to a new way of life overnight. Maybe he tried to get you to agree with him to drink some bags of human blood without having to catch any humans, at least in your first days as a neophyte to get stronger, but if that didn't work and you didn't want to then Felix would support you and not force you to do anything and would even bring you all the bags of animal blood he could get.
Felix had always admired you in every way, as a partner and as a person, but after your revelation more than ever. Admiring your willpower and your compassion for choosing a diet that avoided harming humans.
On the other hand, he would also face a dilemma because of the Volturi and their strict rules about blood consumption, no vampire there was vegetarian, so Felix feared that what you wanted could not be fulfilled. Imagining you depressed while having to feed on something that would cause you pain would break his heart. Even though you would no longer be mortal, Felix knew and you had made it very clear to him that you did not want to kill or hurt another human being, so while blood might be quite satisfying and essential to you, it would not feel the best after having taken a life.
Perhaps some time close to your transformation, Felix would come over to speak to the leaders, giving them some solid arguments highlighting the benefits of you being a vegetarian vampire, as well as proving all his loyalty in the last time so that they would trust you. It would all have been worth it if they then approved it, so when they finally do, Felix feels a great internal relief, giving his gratitude to the leaders while assuring them that this exception would not be taken lightly and he would be careful.
Feeling better when he sees your happiness at hearing the words come out of your mouth. Even though it was a different diet and something he was not used to, if you were okay, then Felix would be by your side to support you and take care of your well-being.

Jane Volturi (platonic)
Known for her cruelty and loyalty to the Volturi, Jane values strength and tradition, and drinking human blood was an essential part of that tradition. You wanting to drink animal blood would make Jane see it as a sign of weakness and lack of commitment to the Volturi values.
She loves and appreciates you, but this could cause her to react with disdain and disapproval, trying to persuade you to change your mind, nothing to do with violence or using her special gift, in fact, she would try to reason with you and explain why you should feed on human blood and how beneficial it would be for you. If even after listening to her you went ahead with your idea, it would only make Jane more frustrated, it's not like she was known for her patience or understanding, so it's likely that she would be harsh and unsympathetic at least at first.
The fact that Aro gave this a thumbs up was only because he surely had a plan in mind seeing the benefit that drinking animal blood could bring. Her decision could be one of strategy and exploring new dynamics seeing such a vampire in her clan. Still, Jane trusts her judgment and if Aro was okay with it, then she might accept it a bit more, albeit with some discomfort.
However, if you stood your ground the whole time, Jane might reach a point of final resignation with constant feeling of discontent. Of course, she supports you, but she wouldnât fully accept your choice. There could be some tension for some time due to this fundamental difference. She just wants you to be okay, taking a more protective attitude once you were transformed, making sure you donât put yourself in danger due to your current diet.
Over time, Jane might show more tolerance and patience, albeit with reservations. Her affection towards you would make her accept the situation⌠In her own way. With disapproval sometimes. Despite everything, Jane would still love and protect you, especially if the leaders had already given their approval. And if anyone were to say something, well, let's just say that Jane's patience isn't always there to save someone.

Alec Volturi (platonic)
Unlike his sister, Alec would act more moderately. Although he shares loyalty to the Volturi and their traditions, he is generally calm and thoughtful.
Initially, he might show surprise and some curiosity. He might want to understand the reasons behind your choice and assess the implications. Alec would not be as impulsive or harsh, so his approach would be more analytical.
Alec might express his doubts and concerns about your safety, as being a vegetarian vampire would be seen as a less powerful choice and more so if you belonged to the Volturi. He would make an effort to understand you and, due to his more understanding nature, he would likely accept your decision and support it if he sees that it is firm and well-founded, albeit with certain reservations. By being a bit more understanding he might adapt to this new dynamic, prioritizing your safety and happiness, as well as reminding you to stay well-fed.
Alec is loyal and respects Aro and the leaders' decisions a lot, so if they were to accept this he would feel more relieved, although he would also wonder if it could affect your decision within the Volturi in any way. But the backing of the leaders would surely give him more confidence. He would feel safer in supporting you without fear of repercussions. Alec is not stupid, he would know for himself that the positive vote would have been only because Aro surely had some plan in mind, he would not do it simply as a good gesture. Still, as long as you were not in any danger and it made you happy, then he would be more than willing to go along with it, especially if it did not endanger the safety or interests of the coven.
He could admire and respect your willpower a little, knowing that it would not be easy, he could even help get you some bags of blood for when you woke up from your transformation. He would certainly take it better than Jane, learning to accept and support the difference, trying to make you understand that he understands and values you. During missions he would probably remain as usual and just as efficient, although he could be more attentive and vigilant in case any threats that could affect you arise. Alec just wants you to be safe.

a little bit off(GoodOmens)topic but I was rewatching Aro's scenes and just wanted to draw something about himâ¨

⢠Aro and the young Jane and Alec â˘
I don't like the movies very much - even though I read the books A LONG time ago - but I always wondered more about how Aro met Jane and Alec. Of course the costumes don't fit (since they met in IX century, I think), but I had fun drawing all of themâ¨
well, I'll go back to draw Good Omens stuff, bye byeđŠˇ

Stories usually start with a "Once upon a time," a simple phrase that loosens the veil between the familiar and the forgotten, leading listeners into worlds safely confined to dreams. But this story was different; it felt like a secret, like shadows pooling at the edges of your vision, waiting to pull you into a night where time doesnât pass, where mysteries linger, and every whispered word tastes like something forbidden. This wasnât just ink on a page; it was a door to someplace half-real, someplace where darkness wrapped you close and left you wondering whether you'd ever find your way back.
This world isnât like that. Instead, itâs a place where time stands still, its hands frozen in a perpetual twilight, neither moving forward nor offering escape. For some, it feels like eternity, an endless stretch of nothingness where the hours blur together, unchanging. But for othersâthose who wander the shadows or fall prey to what lurks withinâitâs a once upon a nightmare, a story where the darkness never relents, where hope is a fleeting, hollow echo swallowed by the night.

In the year 1663, as dusk painted the sky in blood and shadow, the people of London knew better than to linger outside. Each night, as the first stars appeared, every family bolted doors, snuffed candles, and whispered fevered prayers as they hid behind thick walls. Beyond the windows, darkness belonged to those who had vowed to fight it: priest with holy scriptures clutched tight, town braves with sharpened stakes and pitchforks dispatched in blind white anger, sworn to rid the world of creatures who defied mortal law. Blood demons, shapeshifters, and witchesâthey were all condemned as sinâs cruel agents, hunted as monsters by men who claimed their duty was divine.
As the townâs lamps extinguished, the silence was cut by hounds howling at the scent of something unnatural. The synchronized march of boots clattered against the cobbled streets, while shouts and commands ricocheted off stone walls, penetrating even the thickest household walls and rattling the bravest hearts. Fear and faith held sway in equal measure as the men marched, some clutching crosses while others wielded silver weapons they designed thinking it would pierce the skin of creatures they had never truly seen.
But beneath the city, where no torchlight reached, another world had been hidingâa world of thirsting hunger, of whispers, of sleepless dark eyes. Through the damp and nearly caved-in sewers, slick with grime and infested with rats, a vampire coven had staked their claim. For months, theyâd made their den in this forgotten labyrinth of foulness, surviving in silence, drinking only when the thirst grew unbearable. Theyâd kept to themselves, unnoticed by the townsfolk above, their existence a secret safeguarded by shadows and silence.
Yet tonight, their precarious sanctuary would be breached. The huntâs new leader, a young man, by the name of Carlisle Cullen, had taken over from his now deceased father and previous Anglican priest, saw the world through different eyes. Only twenty-three, bold and relentless, he refused to limit his search to open fields or deserted woods as his predecessor had. People would whisper that he was smarter, shrewder; that he sought darkness where no one dared look. And tonight, that unyielding curiosity and grim resolve drove him down, down into the labyrinth of decay beneath London where heâd sworn he saw the monsters lurk. A little far behind him, lanterns casting jagged shadows as his men held their breath and followed.
With each step, the air grew colder, thick with the stench of age-old rot and black mold everywhere. Carlisle pressed forward in step much faster than the others with only two other men at his side, determined until he found it: the coven his father had hunted for two decades and never found was but three arm lengths away from them.
Chaos erupted as soon as the men were heard by this coven. They saw their bright burgundy eyes and weakened bodies suddenly stirring with a vicious, desperate hunger faster than their eyes could keep up. Blood splattered the stone as some of the creatures broke away, dragging one man into the darkness while another, a man speaking in Latin, lashed out on the spot, jaws bared, too starved to hold back. And amid the frenzy, she appeared.
She stood apart from the others, more kept and clean, her form delicate yet unyielding, framed by a grey gown that looked lavish, handmade of silk and cotton. Her skin was impossibly clear, like striking stone, and her fathomless eyes gleamed with something between rage and sorrow. Her lips, faded smooth, curled slightly into frown as she observed the slaughter around her, a cruel beauty etched in her features that seemed both ancient and timeless. She was like a statue come to life, a creature of elegance wrapped in death's chill, and as her gaze locked onto Carlisle, the air thickened.
Carlisle, though terrified, refused to flee. Heart hammering, he charged forward, blade in hand, toward one of the creaturesâthe one who chanted something fierce in Latin, rallying the other swift, chilling figures that blurred through the shadows as they ran away. But then, in one brutal moment, the world tilted; he was thrown to the ground by the man who had gone into a sudden frenzy, his side searing with pain. Blood seeped from his wounds, pooling on the grimy stone, and his breaths came shallow and sharp. He opened his mouth to scream but bit back the sound, fear taking hold as he thought of the townspeopleâwould they turn on him, claim he was infected, cursed by the vampireâs disease?
As he clawed at the ground, desperate to pull himself to safety, his gaze drifted upward, and there she was. He could do nothing but stare. Her form seemed to emerge from the darkness like a dream or an illusion, her skin radiant as though lit from within. Every inch of her invited him closer, her elegance disarming him, and he forgot, for a moment, that she was one of the monsters heâd been sent to kill.
âMiss!â he gasped, breath shaky, arm outstretched in a futile plea. âHurry, quick! Get inside or hide before they⌠before they kill you!â His voice wavered, a desperate edge creeping into his words as he beckoned to her, oblivious to the danger she posed.
Her expression softened, a flicker of sadness crossing her face, almost as if she pitied him. Then she spoke, her voice ringing out like a gentle chime that seemed to drift through the chaos.
âDear boy, you should not have come here.â she spoke, her tone light and melodic, as though she neednât draw a single breath to speak. Her words lingered, brushing against him like silk.
He faltered, as tears traced down his cheek from pain and blood loss trickling from his arm and leg, mingling with the dirt. Confusion contorted his face as he fought to understand while staring at her, then all at once, the truth struck him like a blow to the chest. Sheâs one of them, his mind spinning, his eyes widening with horror. How easily, how effortlessly, he had been drawn in.
âDonât be afraid,â she murmured, tilting her head, her dark gaze unwavering. âI wonât kill you.â
âWhy wouldnât you?â he spat, a note of anger mingling with the brokenness in his voice. He could feel the cold tendrils of despair creeping in, the bitter realization that heâd been charmed, deceived by beauty. A little hope that she may put an end to his suffering.
Her lips curled into the faintest smile, her eyes glinting with something unreadable. âIâve been watching youâson of Cullen,â she replied, a strange fondness in her voice.
âYouâve piqued my interest. You dream of becoming like your father, donât you? But you desire more. You wish to help others, to save them, and yet here you are, hunting us when youâre worth more. Tell me, why do you follow such cruel orders by such a man that cared not for you?â
Gracefully, she lowered herself to his level, kneeling close enough that he could feel the chill radiating from her. He was breathless, the words caught in his throat as he stared into her dark burgundy, fathomless eyes. The scent of blood hung thick in the air, mingling with the faint, sweet perfume that seemed to cling to her skin. Around them, the body of one of his men lay motionless, strewn like a broken doll across the ground, his eyes glazed and empty.
âYou know nothing of me!â he shouted, his voice cracking, the burn of tears threatening to break free. He was shaking now, fear and anger warring inside him. All he could hear were the distant cries of his comrades, the faint echoes of those still coming to join the fray. Yet, for all their noise, it felt as though he and this creature were alone, the last souls in a world drenched in blood and shadow.
Her expression softened, her gaze flickering over his face as if she saw past his fear, his hatred, into something deeper. And for a fleeting moment, he wondered what lay behind those dark eyes, what truth might live within a creature so cold, so deathless. But he pushed the thought away, forcing himself to look anywhere but at her.
âYou wonât have to suffer for long. At least not like right now,â she said, a frown lingering on her lips. âBut I will tell you thisâthere is a price to every vow, every hunt, every act of mercy shown. And one day, youâll have to choose what you stand for.â
Too weak to move, he lay trembling, silent cries catching in his throat as the cold of his skin pressed in. She watched him with a sorrowful frown, her eyes shadowed with something almost tender. And then, with a suddenness he could barely comprehend, she swept him up in her arms. The world blurred, and in the span of a breath, they were far from the echoes of shouts and the clamor of pursuit. She lowered him carefully onto the cool grass beside a riverbank, the night air thick with the quiet gurgling of the slow-moving stream.
âYou donât have much time left,â she murmured, voice softened. âToo much blood lostâyouâre dying.â She paused, gazing down at him, her dark eyes almost regretful. âBut maybe. . .maybe youâll take this chance and do something good with it, with this second life. Thereâs light in it, I swear, if you find it.â
Her words were little more than a whisper, slipping through the cool night air like secrets meant only for him. She took his limp arm, holding it gently before lowering her mouth to his skin. Her fangs pierced his flesh with a sharp, burning pain of silver, and he gasped, feeling the warmth of his blood slipping away, mingling with something that felt like ice, binding him to a pain unlike he felt previously. And then, in the blink of an eye, she was gone, leaving nothing but the faintest swirl of mist where she had knelt.
For a moment, he thought heâd dreamed it allâthe pain, a fierce burning agony that raced through his veins, igniting his senses, hollowing him out from the inside out. His arm throbbed with searing heat spreading up to the tips of his fingertips and into his heart, each heartbeat like a pounding fire surging through every inch of him. His breath caught in his throat, unwilling to let out, vision blurring as the transformation began its slow, merciless work.
It would take three days for the change to complete, for his body to surrender fully to the chilling darkness now coursing through him. In those days, he would be caught between two worlds, his mind twisting, his memories reshaping, his humanity slipping away like sand through his fingers. And by the time he would open his fresh red eyes, the girlâthe one who had granted him this second lifeâwouldnât be seen again. It would be decades before their paths crossed again, though the memory of her face, her voice, her lingering sadness, would haunt him through every year of his endless life.

Itâs Youâ¤ď¸âđĽ Part.2
Summary: You went along with Bella to Italy to save Edward, but when you get there things go unexpectedly and you become mate to the strongest Volturi guard
Pairing: Felix x human female reader
Warning: Mention of blood, bit of angst
Part.1
â˘Masterlistâ˘
Itâs been a week since Iâve been living in the Volturi castle in Italy, for the first few days I stayed in my room that I shared with Felix, the bed was mainly mine since he doesnât sleep but sometimes I craved for his touch at night to help calm me to sleep
It was late at night and I was ready for bed, Heidi was another vampire I grew close to, she was easy to talk too and made me feel at home, she even went out shopping and bought me a much of new clothes, including the silk deep red night dress I was wearing right now as I was cuddled alone in the bed I so desperately want Felix in but alas he had guard duty
Finishing my book I laid it aside when the doors open revealing the one vampire I was missing, I could feel my heart quicken and my smile brighten as he walked towards me
âYouâre back! I missed youâ I said jumping in his lap as he sat on the bed, his strong arms quick to tighten around my waist
âOh how I missed you too amore, what a sexy dress and my favorite color too, such a tempterousâ he said as his eyes roamed my body his hands squeezing my hips
âHeidi picked it out, I was hoping youâd like itâ I said placing my hands on his hips
âOh amore I donât like it I adore it, I adore youâ he said nuzzling his nose into my neck, he had admitted that he loved doing this because I was warm and he craved my scent
âI was wonderingâŚ.i mean only if you want to of courseâŚ.would you maybe stay with me in the bed tonight? I know you donât sleep but I want to feel you next to me while I sleepâ he raised his head and smiled gently
âIâd be honouredâ in a flash he changed out of his daily work clothes into a pair of grey sweatpants and a slim fitted black long sleeve top, his form showing beautifully in this attire compared to the jacket he usually had on, only making me crave him more
Climbing into bed next to me I curled into his side flaring my legs over his lap as my head rested on his arm, his other hand come to rest on my hip, he was hard and cold but god did it feel right
âSleep my little one, you need your restâ
âYouâll stay right?â
âAll night, Iâll be here when you wakeâ and slowly I drifted off into the best sleep Iâve had since being here
I woke up finally feeling relaxed looking up to see Felix was still holding me with a book in his other hand
âGood morning handsome!â I smiled as I sat up rubbing my eyes
âMorning amore, sleep well? You were talking in your sleep a lotâ he smirked
âOh no what did I say?â Nervously fiddling with my fingers not remembering anything I might have dreamed about
âNothing crazy just mumbling my name a lot, were you dreaming of my little one?â He asked as he grazed his hand over my exposed thigh
âUmm I donât rememberâŚ.oh god this is so embarrassingâ I groaned trying to look anywhere but his piercing ruby eyes
âDonât be I quite enjoyed it, even though I love being with you darling I have to get to the throne room for the dayâ he said as he stood up and walked over to our shared wardrobe and I watched as he stripped out of his clothes leaving him in a pair of black boxers, his back was muscular and strong, his legs like tree trunks and when he turned his abs had me weak
âLike what you see darling?â He laughed as he pulled on his work clothes
âWas your body sculpted by the gods wowâ my mouth agape from awe
He finished getting ready then was kneeling infront of me at the side of the bed
âIâll see you this evening, I have something special planned, wear something nice and meet me in the gardens amoreâ he smiled placing a gentle kiss to my hair line before he was gone
Times like this made me feel incredibly self conscious, he was beautiful not a single flaw and I was just a human, my hair had bust offs, my skin wasnât spot less like marble as his was, my body wasnât extremely toned like his, what did he see in me?
Grudgingly I dragged myself out of bed and pulled on a pair of casual leggings and hoodie for now, putting my hair into a ponytail and leaving the room in hopes to find Heidi
Thankfully it wasnât hard finding her in the library as she was sat on a leather couch flipping through a fashion magazine, she quickly looked my way as I head towards her, plopping myself down on the couch beside her
âY/n! Is everything okay youâre looking a bit down hunâ she said as she placed her magazine to the side giving me her full attention
âIâve just been insecure I guess, I may or may not have seen Felixâs body this morning and heâs just so perfect I mean how does he not have girls hanging off of him and he gets saddled with me, I know weâre mates but I feel like heâll get bored of me and realize he can have so much betterâ I said as my face flushed and I could feel the tears well in my eyes
âOh hun donât think like that, trust me he adores you, you should hear the way he fawns over when heâs talking with Demetri, he thinks the world of you, he worships the ground you walk on just give it time everything will itself outâ
âThanks Heidi I appreciate it, hey Felix said he had something special planned tonight and said I had to dress nice, and seeing as youâre an expert in everything fashion wanna help me get readyâ I asked hoping to cheer the mood and distract myself
âOmg Iâve been waiting for this day! Letâs go!â
Heidi did one last curl in my hair and we were finally done, she had me all dolled up like I was going to a ball
âHow do you like it?!â She asked looking at me through the mirror
âI love it thank you so much! I feel like a princessâ my dress was a deep grey covered in sparkles stopping at my mid thigh, a black lace cover over my shoulders, my makeup subtle but classy with sparkles on my eyes
âBecause you are a princess, now itâs about time Felix will be getting off now go make his jaw dropâ she smiled pushing me towards the door
I made my way through the long winding hallways, pushing open the back door finally feeling the fresh night air, the garden glowing with the little decorations the Volturi members each added, suddenly a gush of wind whipped by me, I smiled turning around hoping to see Felix but was faced with someone I wasnât formally acquainted with, Iâve seen him around sometimes but he was usually lurking in the shadows giving me an unsettled feeling thankfully I was always with Felix but now that Iâm alone I felt fear, complete fear as his eyes roamed every inch of me
âWhy donât you look exquisite, and here all alone what a treatâ his smirk widening from ear to ear
âFelix is gonna be here any minute you better leaveâ I said anxiously as I stepped back
âWell I better hurry thenâ in an instant he was on me pushing my hard to the ground knocking the wind out of me, I tried to push him away but it was no use and I could feel my life flash before my eyes, this isnât how I wanted to go I didnât wanna go at all I only just found my soulmate, life was just starting and the only thing I could think of to hopefully save me was scream
âFELIX HELP MEâ the scream i let out was desperate and blood curdling but i was too late as pain seared through my shoulder, his death dug deep into my flesh, i could feel my blood run down my back
Almost just as quickly as he latched on he was ripped away, by who I donât know because the venomous pain coursing through my shoulder was distracting, excruciating, soon Felix was leaning over me panic written all over his face, Demetri on my other side
âFELIX IT BURNS MAKE IT STOPâ I screamed again
âYou can do it Felix, sheâs not ready yetâ Felix looked conflicted before he huffed a breathe he didnât have and sunk his teeth into the previous wound sucking out the venom as soon as that scorching pain subsided I became weak as Felix clung to me
âFelix sheâs clean, youâre taking too muchâ with a snap he was off me, my blood dripping down his face, scared, worried
âIâm so sorry I couldnât protect you mio amore, I should have been hereâ he said as he laid my head on his lap
âYou saved me Felix, this wasnât your faultâŚâŚ.IâŚI love youâ I said weakly before I faded into unconsciousness
Waking up the light beaming through the window bothering my eyes, quickly shielding them as the bed dipped beside me
âThank god youâre awake, I was so worried Angelâ I turned seeing Felix, his skin paler than usual, eyes as black as coal which ive never seen before
I raised my hands tracing my fingers over his cool cheek
âAre you okay? You look sick if thatâs possibleâ
âYouâve been out for 2 days I couldnât leave your side, I havenât been feeding I just needed to be with youâ he smiled pushing my hair back
âIâm okay, a little sore but Iâm fine because of you, you still need to take care of yourself too tho my loveâ he nuzzled into my hand which warmed by heart
âI wish the night went differently I had so much planned for usâ he said as he climbed into the bed next to me so I could cuddle into him, everything felt right again
âI had a whole picnic for us, well you mostly, the moon was gonna be illuminating us and I know you love that, then I was gonna present you with a gift I have had with me since I found out about mates millennia agoâ my heart pumped with excitement I sat up to look at him
âYou have a gift for me!â
âYes amore here Iâve held onto it long enough, now itâs with the one I got it forâ he said reaching into his pocket and pulling out a long thin box
He opened it to reveal a gorgeous bracelet, one youâd never be able to find even in the last 100 years, a unique gold chain with added gold tiny flowers along the chain and at the center a ruby crystal surrounded by more flowers
âFelix itâs beautiful, I love it! Would you help me putting it on?â I asked as I gave him my wrist which he was quick to place the bracelet around
âItâs beautiful on you amore, it was made for youâ he smiled as he placed a kiss to my hand like a gentleman
âI love you Felixâ
âI love you more than you could ever know little oneâ

Omg i really need this
How would the guards including Heidi if its possible react to their mates pulling them a break up prank
And the poor guards doesnt realise its a prank cause reader is very good at acting serious
Head canonsđ¤
đđđđđđđ đ˛đđđđ
Jane hates pranks, especially ones like these. She just thinks that they're not funny. Now she doesn't care much when it happens to others, but her?? She's genuinely upset with you and want's a bit of space. You'll have to apologise to her and mean it because this could actually damage your relationship for the short term.
Alec wouldn't find it funny either, but doesn't want space like Jane. It scares him, the thought of you leaving him, and he breaks a little on the inside. For a while his mind races and he will need some reassurance. If you didn't feel guilty then you sure do now.
Demetri get's defensive. No, he doesn't want to break up, but you've activated his fight of flight response and he's ready to pick an argument now. He'll say things he doesn't mean but so will you, and eventually you two will make up but not before giving eachother the cold shoulder for a while.
Felix is hurt. He's incredibly hurt. Don't get me wrong he's annoyed and irritated too but the main thing that comes across is hurt. He'd ask what he did wrong, what happened between you two. (If you don't apologise to him rn i swear to god.) And yes, he's strong, he's a warrior, he's capable of ripping a mans head off his shoulders in half a second. But this isn't work it's personal. Why would you do this to him?
Heidi is another one to have a hot flash of arguments and then give you the cold shoulder. When all is said and done she still wants to spend her eternity with you, but what happened in that moment upset her. She'll make you swear to never pull any shit like this again

can you write about how would Alec deal with a fem. reader who gets terrible cuteness aggression because of him, like she'll always jump at him, hug him super tight, kiss his entire face as hard as she should cause he's just too adorable she can't help it
Sure! Also sorry for not updating. I've been very busy and I just got a job, I'll try to update a bit more.
1. At first, Alec would be utterly confused by your sudden bursts of affection. As a vampire, he's used to maintaining an air of calm and control, and your unpredictable displays of cuteness aggression would catch him off guard.
2. Once he understands your overwhelming urge to cuddle and shower him with affection, he would find it amusing. Alec might smirk or chuckle softly, allowing himself to enjoy the attention. He would appreciate that you see him as adorable despite his usually cold demeanor.
3. Alec loves to tease you about your cuteness aggression. He might playfully call you 'adorably chaotic' or joke about how he should start wearing armor to protect himself from your enthusiastic hugs and kisses.
4. Heâd quickly adapt to your affection, often holding you steady as you jump at him. Alec has a calm and reassuring presence, which would help you feel safe in your enthusiastic interactions, and he might even initiate hugs when he senses you need to release some cuteness aggression.
5. After the initial chaos of your affections, he would enjoy quiet moments when you curl up next to him, allowing his cool demeanor to contrast with your bubbly energy. Heâd appreciate the stillness and comfort that comes from sharing these intimate moments with you.
6. Alec would find ways to playfully challenge your cuteness aggression. He might deliberately make adorable faces or act in ways that evoke your impulses, only to tease you when you respond with affectionate chaos.
7. Despite his usual stoic nature, Alec would slowly become more comfortable with physical affection. Heâd learn to reciprocate your hugs and kisses, wrapping his arms around you and drawing you close as his way of embracing your energy.
8. When you indulge in your affectionate outbursts, Alec would take a moment to observe your joyful expressions. He finds genuine happiness in how you react to him, taking mental notes of your favorite affectionate gestures to encourage more playful bonding.
