It’s been a week since I’ve been living in the Volturi castle in Italy, for the first few days I stayed in my room that I shared with Felix, the bed was mainly mine since he doesn’t sleep but sometimes I craved for his touch at night to help calm me to sleep

It was late at night and I was ready for bed, Heidi was another vampire I grew close to, she was easy to talk too and made me feel at home, she even went out shopping and bought me a much of new clothes, including the silk deep red night dress I was wearing right now as I was cuddled alone in the bed I so desperately want Felix in but alas he had guard duty

Finishing my book I laid it aside when the doors open revealing the one vampire I was missing, I could feel my heart quicken and my smile brighten as he walked towards me

“You’re back! I missed you” I said jumping in his lap as he sat on the bed, his strong arms quick to tighten around my waist

“Oh how I missed you too amore, what a sexy dress and my favorite color too, such a tempterous” he said as his eyes roamed my body his hands squeezing my hips

“Heidi picked it out, I was hoping you’d like it” I said placing my hands on his hips

“Oh amore I don’t like it I adore it, I adore you” he said nuzzling his nose into my neck, he had admitted that he loved doing this because I was warm and he craved my scent

“I was wondering….i mean only if you want to of course….would you maybe stay with me in the bed tonight? I know you don’t sleep but I want to feel you next to me while I sleep” he raised his head and smiled gently

“I’d be honoured” in a flash he changed out of his daily work clothes into a pair of grey sweatpants and a slim fitted black long sleeve top, his form showing beautifully in this attire compared to the jacket he usually had on, only making me crave him more

Climbing into bed next to me I curled into his side flaring my legs over his lap as my head rested on his arm, his other hand come to rest on my hip, he was hard and cold but god did it feel right

“Sleep my little one, you need your rest”

“You’ll stay right?”

“All night, I’ll be here when you wake” and slowly I drifted off into the best sleep I’ve had since being here

I woke up finally feeling relaxed looking up to see Felix was still holding me with a book in his other hand

“Good morning handsome!” I smiled as I sat up rubbing my eyes

“Morning amore, sleep well? You were talking in your sleep a lot” he smirked

“Oh no what did I say?” Nervously fiddling with my fingers not remembering anything I might have dreamed about

“Nothing crazy just mumbling my name a lot, were you dreaming of my little one?” He asked as he grazed his hand over my exposed thigh

“Umm I don’t remember….oh god this is so embarrassing” I groaned trying to look anywhere but his piercing ruby eyes

“Don’t be I quite enjoyed it, even though I love being with you darling I have to get to the throne room for the day” he said as he stood up and walked over to our shared wardrobe and I watched as he stripped out of his clothes leaving him in a pair of black boxers, his back was muscular and strong, his legs like tree trunks and when he turned his abs had me weak

“Like what you see darling?” He laughed as he pulled on his work clothes

“Was your body sculpted by the gods wow” my mouth agape from awe

He finished getting ready then was kneeling infront of me at the side of the bed

“I’ll see you this evening, I have something special planned, wear something nice and meet me in the gardens amore” he smiled placing a gentle kiss to my hair line before he was gone

Times like this made me feel incredibly self conscious, he was beautiful not a single flaw and I was just a human, my hair had bust offs, my skin wasn’t spot less like marble as his was, my body wasn’t extremely toned like his, what did he see in me?

Grudgingly I dragged myself out of bed and pulled on a pair of casual leggings and hoodie for now, putting my hair into a ponytail and leaving the room in hopes to find Heidi

Thankfully it wasn’t hard finding her in the library as she was sat on a leather couch flipping through a fashion magazine, she quickly looked my way as I head towards her, plopping myself down on the couch beside her

“Y/n! Is everything okay you’re looking a bit down hun” she said as she placed her magazine to the side giving me her full attention

“I’ve just been insecure I guess, I may or may not have seen Felix’s body this morning and he’s just so perfect I mean how does he not have girls hanging off of him and he gets saddled with me, I know we’re mates but I feel like he’ll get bored of me and realize he can have so much better” I said as my face flushed and I could feel the tears well in my eyes

“Oh hun don’t think like that, trust me he adores you, you should hear the way he fawns over when he’s talking with Demetri, he thinks the world of you, he worships the ground you walk on just give it time everything will itself out”

“Thanks Heidi I appreciate it, hey Felix said he had something special planned tonight and said I had to dress nice, and seeing as you’re an expert in everything fashion wanna help me get ready” I asked hoping to cheer the mood and distract myself

“Omg I’ve been waiting for this day! Let’s go!”

Heidi did one last curl in my hair and we were finally done, she had me all dolled up like I was going to a ball

“How do you like it?!” She asked looking at me through the mirror

“I love it thank you so much! I feel like a princess” my dress was a deep grey covered in sparkles stopping at my mid thigh, a black lace cover over my shoulders, my makeup subtle but classy with sparkles on my eyes

“Because you are a princess, now it’s about time Felix will be getting off now go make his jaw drop” she smiled pushing me towards the door

I made my way through the long winding hallways, pushing open the back door finally feeling the fresh night air, the garden glowing with the little decorations the Volturi members each added, suddenly a gush of wind whipped by me, I smiled turning around hoping to see Felix but was faced with someone I wasn’t formally acquainted with, I’ve seen him around sometimes but he was usually lurking in the shadows giving me an unsettled feeling thankfully I was always with Felix but now that I’m alone I felt fear, complete fear as his eyes roamed every inch of me

“Why don’t you look exquisite, and here all alone what a treat” his smirk widening from ear to ear

“Felix is gonna be here any minute you better leave” I said anxiously as I stepped back

“Well I better hurry then” in an instant he was on me pushing my hard to the ground knocking the wind out of me, I tried to push him away but it was no use and I could feel my life flash before my eyes, this isn’t how I wanted to go I didn’t wanna go at all I only just found my soulmate, life was just starting and the only thing I could think of to hopefully save me was scream

“FELIX HELP ME” the scream i let out was desperate and blood curdling but i was too late as pain seared through my shoulder, his death dug deep into my flesh, i could feel my blood run down my back

Almost just as quickly as he latched on he was ripped away, by who I don’t know because the venomous pain coursing through my shoulder was distracting, excruciating, soon Felix was leaning over me panic written all over his face, Demetri on my other side

“FELIX IT BURNS MAKE IT STOP” I screamed again

“You can do it Felix, she’s not ready yet” Felix looked conflicted before he huffed a breathe he didn’t have and sunk his teeth into the previous wound sucking out the venom as soon as that scorching pain subsided I became weak as Felix clung to me

“Felix she’s clean, you’re taking too much” with a snap he was off me, my blood dripping down his face, scared, worried

“I’m so sorry I couldn’t protect you mio amore, I should have been here” he said as he laid my head on his lap

“You saved me Felix, this wasn’t your fault…….I…I love you” I said weakly before I faded into unconsciousness

Waking up the light beaming through the window bothering my eyes, quickly shielding them as the bed dipped beside me

“Thank god you’re awake, I was so worried Angel” I turned seeing Felix, his skin paler than usual, eyes as black as coal which ive never seen before

I raised my hands tracing my fingers over his cool cheek

“Are you okay? You look sick if that’s possible”

“You’ve been out for 2 days I couldn’t leave your side, I haven’t been feeding I just needed to be with you” he smiled pushing my hair back

“I’m okay, a little sore but I’m fine because of you, you still need to take care of yourself too tho my love” he nuzzled into my hand which warmed by heart

“I wish the night went differently I had so much planned for us” he said as he climbed into the bed next to me so I could cuddle into him, everything felt right again

“I had a whole picnic for us, well you mostly, the moon was gonna be illuminating us and I know you love that, then I was gonna present you with a gift I have had with me since I found out about mates millennia ago” my heart pumped with excitement I sat up to look at him

“You have a gift for me!”

“Yes amore here I’ve held onto it long enough, now it’s with the one I got it for” he said reaching into his pocket and pulling out a long thin box

He opened it to reveal a gorgeous bracelet, one you’d never be able to find even in the last 100 years, a unique gold chain with added gold tiny flowers along the chain and at the center a ruby crystal surrounded by more flowers

“Felix it’s beautiful, I love it! Would you help me putting it on?” I asked as I gave him my wrist which he was quick to place the bracelet around

“It’s beautiful on you amore, it was made for you” he smiled as he placed a kiss to my hand like a gentleman

“I love you Felix”

“I love you more than you could ever know little one”

Jane hates pranks, especially ones like these. She just thinks that they're not funny. Now she doesn't care much when it happens to others, but her?? She's genuinely upset with you and want's a bit of space. You'll have to apologise to her and mean it because this could actually damage your relationship for the short term.

Alec wouldn't find it funny either, but doesn't want space like Jane. It scares him, the thought of you leaving him, and he breaks a little on the inside. For a while his mind races and he will need some reassurance. If you didn't feel guilty then you sure do now.

Demetri get's defensive. No, he doesn't want to break up, but you've activated his fight of flight response and he's ready to pick an argument now. He'll say things he doesn't mean but so will you, and eventually you two will make up but not before giving eachother the cold shoulder for a while.

Felix is hurt. He's incredibly hurt. Don't get me wrong he's annoyed and irritated too but the main thing that comes across is hurt. He'd ask what he did wrong, what happened between you two. (If you don't apologise to him rn i swear to god.) And yes, he's strong, he's a warrior, he's capable of ripping a mans head off his shoulders in half a second. But this isn't work it's personal. Why would you do this to him?

Heidi is another one to have a hot flash of arguments and then give you the cold shoulder. When all is said and done she still wants to spend her eternity with you, but what happened in that moment upset her. She'll make you swear to never pull any shit like this again

I think one of my favorite stupid details the Twilight Guidebook gave me is the fact that the Volturi spread rumors and myths about vampires to keep people off of their tail... so that has to mean a conversation like this had to have happened:

Alec

Was worried at the beginning but when he learnt it was not dangerous for you, he grew used to it. Alec is very protective over you when you are asleep because you are so vulnerable when asleep. If he can help it, he likes to be nearby to hear your heartbeat so he can check on you. Buys you a few pillows and blankets so you can make the bed more comfortable. Feels a bit odd when you ask him to join the bed with you to cuddle but he loves it later. Likes to hold you when you are asleep because your slow heartbeat makes him happy.

Jane

Just like Alec she was very worried about your health. Jane did rather immediately turn you so you are just like her, but you asked for more time so instead she goes extra with her protectiveness. Which means she is always close and if not, has the two most trusted lower guards guard your chamber door. Buys you extra comfortable pyjamas and thick blankets because no way you are going to get cold while asleep. Likes to just sit next to you reading a book when you have your naps. It is a moment of bonding too for you both.

Felix

Hasn’t seen a sleeping human in over 2000 years. He doesn’t know what is normal for humans. Felix is especially fascinated by how vulnerable you are when you are asleep. He has secretly tried a few things to see if it would wake you up. It did not so now he is a bit protective of you. He is also a little bit obsessed with holding you, so he likes to lay down on the bed so you can lie on top of him. Forgets that you will grow cold because of that so he gets you huge blankets that fit both you and him. Lots of cuddling happening there.

Demetri

He hates it that you are so vulnerable when asleep. And so often too. Just like Jane he did rather immediately have you be a vampire. He is so anxious for your safety. Has to be nearby when on duty despite his gift. When he learns you like to cuddle while asleep you are in for trouble though. He buys you heated blankets so you don’t get cold when he lies on top of you. It takes you a while to be able to fall asleep with how loud his purring is. He is obsessed with this new habit in your relationship.

Heidi

Heidi has seen many sleeping people when looking for new victims. Thinks it is absolutely adorable that you sleep a lot. Because she is gone so often she asks guards to keep an eye on you and to call her if there is a problem. Loves to buy you cute warm pyjamas and pillows. Also gets bed-storybooks to read you when you are about to fall asleep. Usually with your head in her lap so she can scratch your head while reading to you.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Honestly, I wanted to make this have more than just Felix, Jane, Alec, Heidi and Demetri but I don't know the entire background and personalities of the other Volturi guards, so perhaps next time when i have more information about them. I imagine Elizabeth Gillies as Heidi, but it's fine if you imagine her as someone else! Also, Felix's and Alec's actions are similar to each other but they are not exactly the same.

FELIX VOLTURI AKA THE EXECUTIONER

Felix tries to be understanding of your actions but he ends up being sad since he has done everything he could to make you happy and you still wanted to leave him after all this time. Demetri was the one to find you attempting to escape and managed to get you back to Volterra, but for some reasons, Demetri being the one to catch you trying to escape actually makes Felix feel worse than if he was the one to catch you himself. Felix just gave you space at first, only watching you from a distance, before he started giving you gifts and do small things that he knows you would appreciate. He was doing everything he could to make you stay. It was all geniune and you could see that as well. You probably end up feeling guilty in the end and agreed to continue to stay with him. However, to ensure that you wouldn't try to run away anymore, Felix would be stricter with security measures and made sure that there's a guard who's always secretly watching you from a distance at all times.

DEMETRI VOLTURI AKA THE CASANOVA

You tried to get away from Demetri Volturi? The best tracker in the whole fucking world? You must have been really bloody insane, confident or just quite desperate. There's nothing else left to be said. This man can literally track you anywhere and everywhere. He knows where you are at all times, not just because of his tracking gift, but also because of his vampire senses. And even if you did try to escape him while he's on a mission, he will always know how to find you and get you back in his arms again. He usually doesn't take your escapes seriously and almost think of it as a game of hide and seek or a challenge of some sort but at times when he does take it seriously, he gets a bit stricter with you afterwards and made sure that a guard is with you all the time.

ALEC VOLTURI AKA THE "NUMB" WITCH TWIN

You would usually try to escape while Alec is on a mission far away from Volterra, so it was always another guard who catches you trying to escape or even sneak out to just have some relaxation, most of the time it's Demetri or Felix. At first, Alec only stayed silent the whole time while he's always near you, before he starts giving you gifts and do small but sweet gestures that he knows you would appreciate, similar to Felix. However, unlike Felix, Alec's gifts and sweet gestures aren't geniune at all. They are all just part of his scheme to guilt trip you into staying with him. He would indirectly make you think that you are the one at fault. But if manipulation doesn't work with you, then he knows a few other extreme ways that does.

JANE VOLTURI AKA THE "PAIN" WITCH TWIN

Jane is furious. Very fucking furious. It certainly didn't make it any better that she was the one who had caught you trying to run away. Jane's solution to deal with your behaviour is through torture, but she would most likely not use her gift on you. Most likely. It depends on the situation entirely and Jane's mood as well. However, Jane will definitely force you into isolation in your room for weeks, perhaps even months if you continue to go against her. She would not allow anyone to go near your room, not even to deliver your meals. Jane will be the only one to do everything that's related to you. Not even his brother, Alec, has visited you once during your isolation. You will either break or kneel to her, it is all up to you. On a side note: she would probably force you into isolation a little longer than she had planned merely for fun, even if you were already begging her to let you out.

HEIDI VOLTURI AKA THE SEDUCTRESS

Heidi would be furious and annoyed as well if her darling mate tried to escape her. She was the one to catch you trying to escape when she noticed your scent lingering a little in the group of tourists she was leading in. She left to investigate and saw you hurrying into town. Heidi was a little more furious than she would be if you had attempted to escape on a regular day. Why? Well, you interrupted her during her fucking job, that's why. It will take a bit of time for her to forgive you but when she does, she will use her gift on you and attempt to seduce you. You will have a hard time resisting her, but if you somehow manage to resist her, then Heidi will have no other choice than to get help from Corrin. She will get her to mend the relationship between the both of you and Corrin will also make you forget about any doubts you have of Heidi throughout the relationship.

ALEC VOLTURI & JANE VOLTURI AKA THE WITCH TWINS

You had a yandere Alec or a yandere Jane, now imagine having a yandere Alec and a yandere Jane and trying to run away from them. Well, no one can help you now from their wrath, perhaps not even the masters, not like they would be paying much attention to the well being of the humans in their castle though. Alec is more "merciful" than his sister and will persuade her to give you a slightly lesser torturing punishment, but it's a little hard for her to do, especially since she was always the one to catch you doing things that the twins had forbidden you to do. Eventually, Jane settled on using your loved ones to blackmail you into staying with them. You were bloody terrified and agreed to stay, while Alec would be trying to "make up" to you for their actions afterwards by doing grand things that you would be completely in love with, whether it's to make sure your loved ones stays in a luxurious new home or anything that makes you momentarily forget about what they had done.

1. Heidi is extremely grateful for her s/o's understanding and acceptance of her past as a member of the Volturi, and often finds solace in their arms when she is feeling vulnerable.

2. Despite her tough exterior, Heidi is actually a very affectionate partner, and loves nothing more than cuddling up with her s/o on the couch and watching movies together.

3. Heidi is a big fan of romantic gestures, and often surprises her s/o with little acts of kindness, like leaving love notes around the house or cooking their favorite meal.

4. When Heidi is feeling particularly vulnerable, she has a tendency to cling to her s/o, seeking comfort and reassurance in their presence.

Felix:

This one's apparently a shade of mahogany. I like that it's darker and a little bloody.

This one was under "rose." A little on the cool side with a hint of pink.

A little tour

A/N: Hiii thank you for your request ❤️🎄 I made it Christmas themed and I hope you like it!

You held tight onto the printed invitation. 

It was quite the adventure to get here all the way from your home. It took some convincing from the lady emailing you to get you to accept her offer. At first you thought she was a bot, a scammer, someone trying to steal money from you. But she did not ask for money. No, she only offered a trip to a castle in Italy. Everything would be paid by her organization. You were chosen based on your knowledge of the infrastructure. They wanted to improve their housing, their castle and their infrastructure. 

Was it stupid that you promised her to not tell anyone when she asked to keep it a secret? It most likely was, but you felt a bit mischievous and mysterious. 

Besides, it was almost christmas and you did not have anyone at the moment to spend that holiday with. 

You looked at the small crowd of people surrounding you as you waited all together for the tour to start. Most people were around your age or older. A few elderly people and surprisingly a few children too. You furrowed your brows at how the children were playing tag with each other. Were their parents experts too? Were their children therefore invited as well? 

Your teeth clattered as you waited longer. It was colder than you expected it to be. Not freezing yet but it was cold for the time of the year. You smiled with high expectations when a woman opened the door to the church. You had not seen her emerge at all but she was beautiful and tall. 

“Hello everyone, welcome to the tour of our church. I urge you to leave your phone behind in this basket. Any electronics can damage our infrastructure,” she pointed at a basket near the door. 

You watched everyone quickly throw in their phones in the basket. It made you wary, your phone was your only way to communicate with your peers at home. But you obliged just like everyone else. 

“Will the phones be locked behind the door in the church?” You looked at her. 

As she locked eyes with you, you felt a pang of anxiety spread through your body. Or was it something else? She looked beautiful, eerily beautiful. Her skin almost seemed to shine in this weak sunlight. Her eyes were blue like the ocean, a bit too bright as if they were fake. You knew some people in this world had blue eyes with starry like effects. This was worse. You gasped when she gave you a smile. 

“Did you hear what I said?” 

Fuck. You had not been listening because you were staring. 

Your cheeks heated up with embarrassment as you nodded at her. “Yes, no, eh.” 

She smirked, “your phones will be guarded by my assistant. You can trust him.” 

Oh, that was embarrassing. She had noticed your stares. Was it something she was used to?

“Okay,” you stammered, “thank you.” 

In the next moment she urged everyone to get inside the church. The floor was quick to be filled with everyone and you felt a hint of claustrofobia with everyone pressing against you. You could barely look at the decorations hung on the pillars of the church. 

It was a relief when she opened another door to lead you into a strange hallway. It went down a stairway toward a lighted sewer. 

You heard her tell the first people to enter that it would lead to their castle. That they had to check for faults down there. Her voice was so pretty: melodious and sweet like honey. You wanted to get close to her to hear her voice better again.

“Distracted, sweetie?”

“Huh,” oh you were staring again. 

You felt like embarrassment was once more making your cheeks heat up as she smirked at you again. 

“I apologise.” 

“No need, I see it as a compliment. You don’t look bad yourself.” She looked you up and down with a smile. 

Oh, that was even more intense. “Thank you,” you mumbled shyly as you moved down the stairway. 

As you were led through the sewer you noticed the woman stayed quite close to where you resided. Where she earlier was moving through the group to see everyone was going the right direction, she was now moving at the front. Guiding you and the others through the sewer toward a warm hallway. 

You were staring at the decorations hung everywhere. Whoever resided in this castle- you did not even know where you were- they loved decorating their home or workplace. Trees were placed in every corner with several christmas balls and garlands, yuletide logs were placed on tables and there were tiny boats placed in window sills with blinking lights put in their masts. Huge garlands were hung between pillars and several stars were placed in the middle of garlands. You could swear you saw at least five different traditions of December celebrations. You did not recognize the tiny boats. 

“I love the decorations you have put here.” You moved to speak to the woman. 

You gasped when you saw her eyes. The blue you saw earlier was now purple. It was pretty, bright but not human. She gave you a strange smile when you locked eyes. 

“Thank you, sweetie. We put a lot of work into this.” 

You knew she was trying to ignore the fact that you had noticed the change in her eye color. 

She led you and the others through this hallway down a large stairway. It was colder and darker down here and if you were honest, also a bit eerie. As if something dangerous was gazing upon you from the shadows. 

You looked at how the woman was moving graciously down the stairs. Her movements a bit too fast and dance-like for a human. Your throat was dry as you felt like something odd was going on. 

“Excuse me,” you placed a hand on her arm, immediately taking a step back when you realised she was very cold, “oh.”

You shrieked when she grabbed your arm. Her hand was icy cold against your skin, the cold piercing through. 

“You stay very close to where I am,” she warned. 

You wanted to ask her why but as you reached the lowest stairway steps, the door right in front of you opened with grandeur. You heard the people behind you praise what they saw for this space was spacious and decorated beautifully. It was ancient: the windows, the pillars, the stairs at the other end. They did not see the people standing in this room like you did. 

They all wore capes and had red eyes. 

You turned to look at the woman who was holding you so tight against her. She smiled down at you, her eyes now red as well. Such a deep red that it looked like blood pooled in her eye sockets. 

You barely registered the screaming around you. People ran for their lives as the caped red eyed people chased them and attacked them. All this time you were staring at her and she was staring at you. 

“Heidi, did you eat yet?”

You were torn from your trance when a young black haired boy asked the woman something. 

“No, I am keeping her safe.” 

You locked eyes with the boy and he frowned at you. Panic filled you as you finally understood almost no one from your group was alive anymore.

The woman held tighter on your arm. Forcing you to stay put where you were. 

“What is happening?” you pushed yourself against her, trying to ignore what happened around you.

She smiled sweetly, “I should have known I would meet you during a tour. That is the only way I meet humans. Welcome home to our coven.”
