The combination of his pose and his smug aura captures the essence of Porky's character perfectly, seeing himself as "above the common rabble" which eventually leads to him becoming a self-styled Messiah down the road, as the right hand of Evil Incarnate and carrying the black will of Giygas in his heart throughout time and space...

He is rotten to the core and reveling in it...

I also love how he is shaded, with the shading on the side that we see as his left making his skin look blue, like how it appears in the final battle of EarthBound. It makes him look as though Giygas' corruption is amplifying the darkness that's already within his heart and eating away at his humanity, turning him into something truly sinister (I made sure to reference his "left" side because the word "sinister" is derived from the Latin for left.)
