Dear Friends...

Israel’s military dropped 75,000 tonnes of explosives by April 2024. Since the invasion of Rafah in May, Palestinians have said the bombings have gotten considerably worse, most recently the strike against Al Tabin school where over 100 were killed during morning prayers

"The scene here cannot be described" At least 100 people have been killed in an Israeli attack on al-Tabin School, which was housing displaced Palestinians in Gaza's al-Daraj neighbourhood, on Saturday. The Gaza government media office said in a statement that "the lsraeli strikes targeted the displaced people while performing Fajr (dawn) prayers, [which] led to a rapid increase in the number of casualties."

Atleast a 100 people killed in Gaza as Israel bombed the Al-Tabin school which was being used as a shelter by civilians. The people there were performing the Fajr prayer when Israel bombed them. Yet another massacre and the world remains silent.

If you go to the live coverage on Al Jazeera's page, you can see leaders around the world speaking out against the Tabin school massacre. Yet so far, not a word from Biden or Harris, who provided the weapons.
And before anyone chimes in with a "Actually, Harris is helpless!" No. Se has not been locked in a closet for 10 months. She has undoubtedly attended meetings that ended in the decision to continue to fund genocide. She had publicly supported Israel. She has said the genocide is not a binary issue. Her vice presidency is a preview of what she would do as president. She is a willing party in this.

Brazil condemns Israeli airstrike on school in Gaza Strip
Tumblr media
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Brazilian government condemned another airstrike on a school sheltering displaced people in the Gaza Strip, carried out by the Israeli army last Saturday (Aug. 10).
The bombing hit the civilian infrastructure in the town of Al-Tabin and left dozens dead and others wounded, including women and children. "Brazil expresses deep solidarity with the families of the victims, as well as with the government and the people of the State of Palestine," the statement, released Saturday night (10), reads.
In its strongest diplomatic terms, the Brazilian ministry condemned the attack, emphasizing that international humanitarian law mandates Israel to uphold the principle of proportionality and to take all necessary measures to protect civilians in the occupied territories.
“Israel's disregard for this principle has been a recurring issue in its military operations in the Gaza Strip over the past ten months," the note states.

Repost @jewishvoiceforpeace
On Saturday morning, as displaced Palestinians began their morning prayers in Al-Tabin school in Gaza City, the Israeli military used US-made GBU-39 Small Diameter Bombs to massacre over 100 people as they prayed.
Not a single full body was recovered from Al-Tabin school. Palestinians were forced to search through the unrecognizable remains of dozens of people as they attempted to identify loved ones. This is the eighth attack by the Israeli military on a school sheltering displaced Palestinians this month.
This morning, the Israeli government again dropped “evacuation” orders, pledging imminent use of extreme force against Palestinian families in Khan Younis. Thousands of Palestinians have fled Khan Younis already, many of whom just fled ethnic cleansing from other places the Israeli military designated as “safe” and then bombed.
This is not an “evacuation”— and warnings can’t hide war crimes. With nowhere to go, thousands more will die as long as the US continues to arm the Israeli military and cover for its war crimes.
These haunting scenes — the deliberate massacre of people praying, the use of US-made weapons so brutal that “not a single full body” has been recovered from Al-Tabin, the repeated ethnic cleansing of neighborhoods in Gaza — are repeated by the Israeli military because the US continues to enable and fund them. These atrocities underscore the urgent need to end the US government’s complicity in such violence.
We demand a complete end to US funding, arming, and backing of the state of Israel’s oppression of Palestinians.

More than 100 Palestinians have been killed and dozens wounded in an Israeli strike on a school sheltering displaced people in Gaza City, according to Palestinians officials in Gaza.
“The occupation army directly bombed the displaced people while they were performing the dawn prayer, and this caused the number of martyrs to rise rapidly,” the Gaza Government Media Office said in a statement following the attack on Saturday morning.
“This clearly comes within the framework of the crime of genocide and ethnic cleansing against our Palestinian people.”
Gaza’s civil defence agency said three Israeli rockets hit the al-Tabin school, located in al-Daraj district, describing the incident as a “horrific massacre”, with some bodies catching fire.
According to local media reports citing eye witness accounts, around 250 people had been inside the prayer hall at the time of the raid.
Palestinian journalist Hossam Shabat reported that rescue teams were unable to help those trapped by the flames as the Israeli military has cut water access to the area.
In its statement, the Israeli army said its air forces struck a “command and control centre” that “served as a hideout for Hamas terrorists and commanders” and was also a shelter for the residents of Gaza City.
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad rejected the claim. “The enemy army’s excuses for destroying schools are the same ones it used to destroy hospitals before, and they have been proven false,” it said in a statement.

Deliberately timed to cause MAXIMUM CASUALTIES!!!!!!
Tumblr media
An investigation by Al Jazeera’s Sanad verification agency has revealed that the Israeli attack on al-Tabin School in Gaza City, which killed at least 100 Palestinians, was “deliberately timed to cause maximum casualties.”
Based on survivors’ testimonies, photos of the remnants of the bombs and documentation of the explosion’s immediate aftermath, the investigation concluded that the attack was timed to coincide with dawn prayers.
According to the report, the missiles “penetrated the mosque’s roof, passed through the first floor, where the women’s chapel is located, and exploded on the ground floor, where the men’s chapel is situated.”
The agency contradicted claims by the Israeli forces that the attack was intended to target Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad fighters it claimed were in the men’s prayer hall.
It said that the mosque was struck at prayer time when it was serving displaced civilians, and cited photographs and survivor testimonies indicating that fire broke out in areas outside the floor the Israeli forces claimed to be targeting.

Omar al-Jaabari, an 11-year-old boy who sustained grave burn injuries all over his body after multiple Israeli bombs hit al-Tabin School over the weekend, where displaced Palestinians were sheltering, has succumbed to his wounds. The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, which spoke to family members, reports that the child has joined the more than 100 Palestinians who were killed as a result of the attack. The Israeli military claimed it was attacking “terrorists”.

[ID 1 & 2: An article titled: Not a 'single full body' left after Israeli attack on Gaza school, Gaza's civil defence says
10 August 2024 16:43 BST
The Israeli attack on the Tabin school in Gaza, which killed more than 100 Palestinians praying at dawn on Saturday, has left not a single full body, Gaza's civil defence spokesman Mahmoud Basal told Al Jazeera.
He said rescue teams were not able to find a single body with full limbs at the site, and that the status of the uncovered bodies indicates the severity of the bombing. END ID 1 & 2
ID 3: A tweet by @AssalRad that reads: Read this sentence, then read it again, Israel has shown it's capable of precision strikes for assassinations, but when targeting a school they know is full of civilians the weapons used are so powerful that not a single body is left intact. Children's bodies torn to shreds. END ID]

Massacre At The Al-Tabin School: ( August 10th, 2024)
Guided missile strikes:
suddenly dust and fire spread
everywhere like it
was Judgement Day. People's blood
poured profusely
across the prayer room's floors.
Quietude collapsed.
O how many were wounded;
how many are dead?!
And they called it a 'shelter'.
