⭕️ Press Release
The statements made by British Foreign Secretary David Lammy, commenting on the massacre committed by the fascist occupation army against innocent displaced persons in the Al-Tabin School at dawn today, in which he called on Hamas to "stop endangering civilians," are a heinous alignment with the occupation’s false narrative that claims that schools and displacement centers are used for military purposes to justify targeting civilians. It is a blatant attempt to evade his country’s legal, political, and moral responsibility for the continuation of this brutal genocide, by continuing to provide political and military support to the Zionist occupation.
Humanitarian organizations, through their reports, the United Nations, its organizations, and its international rapporteurs have monitored the terrorist occupation government’s perpetration of the heinous genocide for more than ten months; including the most horrific crimes known to humanity against unarmed civilians in cities, camps, schools, hospitals, and shelters, until the number of martyrs have reached nearly 40,000; over two-thirds of them were women and children, exceeding all levels of brutality, criminality, and terrorism, and disregarding all international laws and treaties.
While we condemn these complicit stances with the massacre, we demand Secretary Lammy, the British government, and western governments, headed by the US administration, immediately back down such path that makes them actual partners in the war crimes, ethnic cleansing, and genocide committed in the Gaza Strip, and work to put pressure on the Zionist extremists’ government to stop the deliberate massacres against civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, and facilitate the work of international judicial institutions seeking to hold Zionist war criminals accountable for their crimes that shame humanity.
We renew our call to the United Nations and the international community to form international investigation committees, enter the Gaza Strip and the shelters and displacement centers, verify the false allegations of the occupation army, expose its ongoing crimes, and activate the resolutions and treaties designed to protect civilians in wars and to end this ongoing crime against our people in the Gaza Strip.

Atleast a 100 people killed in Gaza as Israel bombed the Al-Tabin school which was being used as a shelter by civilians. The people there were performing the Fajr prayer when Israel bombed them. Yet another massacre and the world remains silent.

If you go to the live coverage on Al Jazeera's page, you can see leaders around the world speaking out against the Tabin school massacre. Yet so far, not a word from Biden or Harris, who provided the weapons.
And before anyone chimes in with a "Actually, Harris is helpless!" No. Se has not been locked in a closet for 10 months. She has undoubtedly attended meetings that ended in the decision to continue to fund genocide. She had publicly supported Israel. She has said the genocide is not a binary issue. Her vice presidency is a preview of what she would do as president. She is a willing party in this.

Repost @jewishvoiceforpeace
On Saturday morning, as displaced Palestinians began their morning prayers in Al-Tabin school in Gaza City, the Israeli military used US-made GBU-39 Small Diameter Bombs to massacre over 100 people as they prayed.
Not a single full body was recovered from Al-Tabin school. Palestinians were forced to search through the unrecognizable remains of dozens of people as they attempted to identify loved ones. This is the eighth attack by the Israeli military on a school sheltering displaced Palestinians this month.
This morning, the Israeli government again dropped “evacuation” orders, pledging imminent use of extreme force against Palestinian families in Khan Younis. Thousands of Palestinians have fled Khan Younis already, many of whom just fled ethnic cleansing from other places the Israeli military designated as “safe” and then bombed.
This is not an “evacuation”— and warnings can’t hide war crimes. With nowhere to go, thousands more will die as long as the US continues to arm the Israeli military and cover for its war crimes.
These haunting scenes — the deliberate massacre of people praying, the use of US-made weapons so brutal that “not a single full body” has been recovered from Al-Tabin, the repeated ethnic cleansing of neighborhoods in Gaza — are repeated by the Israeli military because the US continues to enable and fund them. These atrocities underscore the urgent need to end the US government’s complicity in such violence.
We demand a complete end to US funding, arming, and backing of the state of Israel’s oppression of Palestinians.

'I can't describe these scenes'
Palestinian journalist Anas al-Sharif posteda video reporting on the scenes and aftermath of where at least 100 Palestinian civilians, including children, were killed at dawn on Saturday after lsraeli forces targeted a school in Gaza City.
Videos obtained by Middle East Eye showed charred bodies and limbs strewn across a concrete floor, as people scrambled to find their loved ones following the attacks.
Another video appeared to show dozens of bodies covered in cloths and laid out in a courtyard.
Gaza's civil defence agency described the attack as a "horrific massacre and said three lsraeli rockets hit the Tabin school, located in Gaza City's al-Daraj district, whilst Palestinians performed early morning Fajr prayers.
"The occupation army directly bombed the displaced people while they were performing the dawn prayer" Gaza's government media office said in a statement.

Massacre At The Al-Tabin School: ( August 10th, 2024)
Guided missile strikes:
suddenly dust and fire spread
everywhere like it
was Judgement Day. People's blood
poured profusely
across the prayer room's floors.
Quietude collapsed.
O how many were wounded;
how many are dead?!
And they called it a 'shelter'.

"In a letter to U.S. President Joe Biden, the jurists and legal groups wrote that "75 years ago, in the aftermath of one of the most destructive conflicts in human history, nations of the world came together in Geneva, Switzerland to establish clear legal limits on the treatment of noncombatants in times of war."
"One key provision... is the prohibition of collective punishment, which is considered a war crime," the letter continues. "We consider the unilateral application of certain economic sanctions to constitute collective punishment.""
""Irony is dead," wrote human rights lawyer Mai El-Sadany. "If the U.S. cared anything for the Geneva Conventions, it would not be choosing active complicity in war crimes and crimes against humanity every day for the last 10 months."
Rutgers Law professor Adil Haque observed, "The rest of the world has spent the last 10 months defending international humanitarian law from us."
Qasim Rashid, also a human rights lawyer, said, "An actual commitment to respecting international humanitarian law would mean you stop funding [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu as he commits genocide of Palestinians.""
"As Common Dreams previously reported, the bombing of the al-Tabin school complex came just hours after the U.S. State Department announced the release of $3.5 billion in military aid for Israel and made new weapons transfers available to help refresh the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stockpiles.
"U.S. funding of Israeli genocide is ballooning as the Israeli army uses ever more lethal bombs," said Francesca Albanese, the UN special rapporteur on Palestine, in an online post Sunday. "The ones used yesterday in the Al-Tabin School massacre sliced bodies to the point of making them unrecognizable. They are now identified by weight: 70kg bag = 1 adult. Revolting.""

The Dahiya Doctrine is an Israeli military doctrine that calls for the use of massive, disproportionate force and the deliberate targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure.
International law expressly prohibits the use of disproportionate force and the targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure, which are war crimes.

The Biden-Harris administration hasn't even batted an eye at the Al-Tabin school massacre. Instead, they are sending Israel over $20 billion worth of more weapons.

The U.S. State Department is already both-sidesing the Al-Tabin school massacre:
“We have been clear … to our partners in Israel that every possible effort needs to be taken to minimise the impact of civilian casualties,” Patel told reporters at a briefing. However, sites such as schools may lose their protected status under international law when “used by combatants” he said, adding that “there is a clear, provable track record of Hamas using human civilians as human shields, locating itself amongst civilian infrastructure”.
