it’s kinda funny how people forget the fact that Luffy used to be an angry feral little shit left by his father AND grandfather to grow up alone (pre ASL) on a damn mountain with fucking bandits . The only reasons he’s not as feral is because of Makino, Shanks + Red Hair pirates (father be fathering), Uta, & Ace + Sabo. So whenever people say that Luffy is a sweet little boy who can do no harm is bs, he’s a 19 yr old with an awakened devil fruit, that is slightly over powered, who can AND will beat the shit out of you AND kill bc he was and still is to a degree a feral fucking child.

Probably not the best way to describe it but 🤷🤷🤷🤷

The song Uta's singing at the end is the one Luffy created for her, so while she got a bad headache, she still listened and kept it in her heart! <3

Also, the absolute pitch thing is something I can testify for. Music is my field, I have the absolute pitch and while I'm not at the level of headache (One of my conservatory's friends does instead), it's sooooo frustrating.

🍓 thinks Benn is overdue of a raise of his share/pay in loots. He is not only the second in command of the 赤髪海賊団 (akagami kaizoku-dan) but also because he has to babysit the majority of the crew, is probably the Quartermaster¹ of the ship as well AND has to keep an eye on their irresponsible captain.

(🍓 loves Shanks but she knows for sure that he isn't the one making sure they stay afloat on a normal day to day basis on long voyages with nothing to do but daily chores.)

Doesn't help that Benn is super reliable and takes good care of the crew members , ensures that their Captain doesn't do anything too irrational , is so swoon-worthy~ 🩷

🍓's birthday is a day before Benn's~ Super lucky~!

¹ - Quartermaster: The one responsible to handle disputes , concerns , well-being of crew members , ensure the ship runs smoothly as well as the one to impose punishment on the men (the Captain is also applicable for punishment in certain cases if the Quartermaster deems it appropriate) on top of many other responsibilities. Usually the First Mate of pirate crews but in certain cases would/could be ranked higher and will have the First Mate working directly under them.

P.S: They did Benn so dirty in the OPLA 😭!!! 🍓 truly means no offense to the actor but the costuming for Benn was so unflattering 😭

Hi! Your writing is amazing! May I request headcanons for Shanks and Mihawk (separately) with an s/o that can't fight or use a weapon? Like buddy, I once held a gun and I literally fainted right then and there. That happened with a sword, too. My brain can't handle holding something that kills and decides that the best course of action is to lose consciousness lmao. Thank you!

Headcanons for Shanks and Mihawk: with a S/O who can't fight or handle weapons.

☠ Considering Shanks position as a Yonko, fights, random challengers and all out war can tend to break out from time to time, considering all this, you as his S/O were completely and utterly defenseless... unable to really fight and not exactly willing to handle a weapon

☠ {Name} however did try to learn the art, but was absolutely struck with a sense of dread and mortifcation just from holding a sword, not exactly wielding it in a real battle either

☠Shanks stood behind {Name}, their back pressed up against his chest as he leaned over, gripping {Name's} hand along with the sword in the manner of assisted demonstration, though {Name} struggled to handle holding the sword, even with Shank's support

☠ After seeing how perturbed you were from handling the weapons, he decided it's best that you don't fight, he never would put you in harm's way and if it find you, he would protect you. Shanks swore to never put you in a position where you needed to fight, he loves you as you are in your entirety.

☠ Shanks actually loves this side of you, he feels that you are a tad more dependent on him this way and despite not being able to fight; He still thinks {Name} is a total badass

☠ Can't fight? Never fear, best believe no one, especially Shanks would ever let someone touch a hair on your head. You're perfectly protected.

☠ However at times, this is slightly inconvenient since he always insists on going with you everywhere to be your bodyguard, not that you will actually complain. You love spending time with him

☠ Once during a fight between some other pirate crews, you came close to being shot by a random pirate, which triggered both a sense of desperation and irritation in Shanks, it was incredibly rare for you to see him so upset. After that, the rest of the day he was holding onto you and keeping you within arms length

🦅 "{Name} I think it would be best if you learnt how to fight" - it was a very nonchalant suggestion Mihawk made, considering your best interests in mind.

🦅 Understandably it was a very reasonable thing to suggest, Mihawk was considering how often he left {Name} alone at the castle during his obligatory Shichibukai work responsibilities. More than anything he was concerned for your wellbeing

🦅 Fighting is one thing, handling weaponry is another and more than anyone Mihawk understands this, which is why he never threw {Name} straight into the fray and decided to take it slow by giving you a small knife

🦅 Will power and heart is something that {Name} had in great abundance... just not when it came to fighting. In fact those attributes could considerably be replaced by nervousness and clumsiness, Mihawk instantly noticed this, but gave {Name} encouragement with a slight nudge to push through that

🦅 {Name's} inhibition towards weapons resulted in a very mild injury, Mihawk instantly stopped pressing you to learn how to fight as he treated you. Mihawk felt a bit guilty since he was the one encouraging you to learn, even after seeing your initial reaction. He pampered you for the rest of the day as a form of apology

🦅 Mihawk resolved to become your sword and shield, considerably the strongest Shichibukai was both your partner and now your own personal bodyguard, hard to say that {Name} was not loving the situation

🦅 After consideration, Mihawk began taking you as his company on all his journeys, admittedly he was slightly annoyed with himself that he did not consider this first as he is loving the traveling with you as well as your company.
