WOD#047
This one is a lil’ bit of a cardio session, easy, simple and effective as trying to ease my shoulder into work and it did gooooood :) I scaled it down, but pull-ups could be made kipping or even strict if you need some nastier. Also you can add a weighted vest to an even more challenging session.
CONDITIONING:

Relaxing of restrictions just means there's room for you at the IC. So I'm still rocking the home WODs most of the time. My little home space is the warmest part of the place. So light weights and lots of reps means a sweaty good time. Ab challenge still in effect in the AM. WG brought The KID to the workout. WG obviously wasn't there to workout since he was not in gym clothes. He coached The KID thru the entire workout with competency and love. I wish I could say that...
Kayla returned today. She was absent 2 weeks and returned wearing no make-up. I had hoped she would want to look good for her old coach, but no joy.
There were 7 girls here today. They talked constantly and laughed a lot. At times I suspected they were ridiculing their coach, but Linda denied it. Afterwards, they sat Indian-style in a circle on the mats in front of a fan for at least 30 minutes. Kayla alone had a beer. I like that behavior. The circle, I mean. They were enjoying each other's company after a vigorous workout. Working hard and having fun is how you build the fabled CrossFit Community.
The Terminator Rodent is winning. Even though there were at least a dozen different traps waiting for it, it eluded them all. Worse yet, your coach accidentally stepped on a glue-trap, causing my shoes to stick to everything every step of my way. After a trip across the pine straw, it looked like I was wearing snow-shoes.
Note-Notes:
There will be a birthday WOD Thursday. It will be partnered because it has unusually high numbers.
There will be daily workouts this coming Saturday/Sunday/Labor Day Monday/Tuesday. How many will you attend ??
Thursday at 4 PM. Hopefully we will be able to return to the standards we enjoyed prior to Kayla's 2 week vacation. If there are more than 10 homemade birthday cakes I will be embarrassed. Before you get too excited I must warn you that Robert is back from his vacation and is well rested.

This is a cheat for me, as I went back home for Christmas to the lovely town of Miskolc in the eastern part of the country. Had a proper drive with one of my besties and her dog and then some proper family time, with its downs sometimes, but this is usual I think when everyone gathers into a place and wants the best for everyone and goes crazy about it haha. 
The other thing is during these days is nutrition and eating up everything and drinking a bit more as usual, or drinking even a glass or 2 max. What I mastered during these years that I really focus on not having any alcoholic drinks and adjusting a bit the ingredients to have a little bit healthier versions of those massive beautiful meals we have and eat from waking up until going to sleep. I failed at the alcohol level, got drunk with my friends in town on the 26th, but not failed on the other part of the nutrition, which made me proud. :)
I prepared myself for a home workout, so brought down my running shoes, a foam roller, massage ball, bands, jump-rope, small plates (1,25kgs each) to be able to do what is necessary. The result is a 5k run with 15 air squats in every 2 minutes, and then the shoulder rehab program of Squat University (SU) with a proper mobility program after. Lucky me, the playing mats for my sister’s lil’ kids were there, so I even felt better then in the box on the flour doing those stretches haha. What an Xmas present :)))
