‼️‼️‼️⚠️‼️‼️‼️AI ACCOUNTS ARE STEALING PEOPLE’S WORK‼️‼️‼️⚠️‼️‼️‼️

I was scrolling through tumblr and noticed some very familiar art popping up with no captions at all, so I checked the 3 profiles these posts were coming from. 2 of these accounts had similar names, and I can say for sure that 2 of them had ai generated profile pictures and descriptions. I know that 2 of them also had the same exact descriptions. These accounts have been spamming stolen sonadow themed art— they aren’t reposting them, and they aren’t credited. When I try and report them, google keeps saying there’s an error. It might not work on iOS and I don’t have access to a computer. (Also, 2 of these account names have ‘crush’ in them, and all of them have ‘02’ at the end, so be on the lookout for similar named accounts.)

These are screenshots I took of these accounts showing up in my ‘tags’ feed. If anyone can, please report these “people”. We don’t need tumblr turning into the new facebook, with half of the stuff on the platform just being Ai generated slop.

I'm sure most of ya already knew this. 💚 I try to do the best I can at reducing my carbon footprint but companies make it so hard these days and they shouldn't. They should have options to opt out of using as much AI as you can or all of it. And to the people who don't know this and think like Trump where you're gonna get "beachfront properties" 🤦‍♀️...I hate to tell you this but that's not what is going to happen. What will happen is MASSIVE sinkholes, tsunami's, earthquakes, wildfires, volcanic eruptions, severe winds and rain and snow; it's not just a rise or decrease in water. It can cause an environmental apocalypse that will reduce the world to nothing but rubble.

Generative AI is bad no matter what

This includes:

Using Character AI to replace human interaction

Using image generators as “a joke”

Using text generators to write for you or make fanfic for you

Using AI to solve math problems for you

Using those tv show filters on TikTok

Copying or interacting with Googles AI

It’s fine if some people are unaware of the damage of AI, but if you KNOW the issues and still use it you are the problem

Okay, I guess I’ll stop using grammar, punctuation and start describing things plainly?

Like, god forbid a girl grew up reading all the time and therefore has a large vocabulary, and knows how to use punctuation. God forbid a girl remembers the lessons from early school years about punctuation and grammar. God forbid a girl has been writing stories from the age of 9. God forbid a girl has passion for literature.

Writers shouldn’t have to dumb down their own work due to fear of being accused of using ai.

Writers writing style can change depending on the topic that is being written about.

Writing is a learning process, no writers work is going to be the same ten years apart.

If people actually cared enough they could have the ability to write and not have to rely on ai to write a 1,000 word essay.

The world is surrounded by all different types of inspiration. We have nature— trees, plants, the moss that grows all over a forest, the years old stones that have formed into a path or display, we have so much in the world to draw inspiration from including each other.

Many artists, writers, they have been inspired by others before them. There’s only so many chords, words, phrases, colors, in the world it’s what you make of them that count.

Ai can never match the ability, the skill, the level of passion, that humanity possesses and puts into their work.

Works from people as such as; Vincent Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, George Orwell, Albert Camus, Jane Austen, Mary Shelley, Louis May Alcott, and such, wouldn’t ever be made by ai.

You know why?

Because their works include emotion, real experiences, their minds, their creativity, their thoughts, their feelings, their dreams, their desires, their struggles, their ambitions, their compassion, it’s all from humanity.

Yes, a lot of these people were not the greatest of people, many of them were just terrible— Lovecraft comes to mind.

But their works are still whole lot better than ai.

Anyway, rant over, fuck ai, learn as a human being how to function, practice your skills, and grow as a human. Ai won’t help you.

The problem with Nightshade with regard to tumblr potentially selling us out to AI is that you can't protect any un-Nightshaded work that has already been reblogged from your OP. That stuff's out there, and you're not going to be able to track it all down and deal with it retroactively.

However.

Nightshade your old stuff anyway and repost it so that any future reblogs are poisoned, but especially Nightshade anything new before posting it. That way all the reblogs of your new work will be poisoned from the start.

I am so sick of seeing ai everywhere. When I go to search something on instagram it wants me to search with ai. When I use a search engine like google the first result is auto generated ai. When I’m scrolling through google images I see pictures that are clearly ai generated. Copilot ai is in computers. They’re making phones with an ai button. And now I’m seeing ads for ai music on tumblr.

And I can’t get rid of it. There’s no off switch on instagram or google. I just want it gone.
