I am so sick of seeing ai everywhere. When I go to search something on instagram it wants me to search with ai. When I use a search engine like google the first result is auto generated ai. When I’m scrolling through google images I see pictures that are clearly ai generated. Copilot ai is in computers. They’re making phones with an ai button. And now I’m seeing ads for ai music on tumblr.

And I can’t get rid of it. There’s no off switch on instagram or google. I just want it gone.

AI opt-out instructions for visual learners

Step one: click on pancake icon for menu.

Step two: Click on view blog. (Do not just click on blog)

Step three: click on blog settings

Step four: Scroll all the way down to visibility. Click on it. Then click opt-out of third party sharing.

AI isn't ok. Opting out of this can't prevent all of your work from being used in AI training but it can help. You deserve to not have your work stolen and so do others. AI is stolen work. Don't support it.

For folks who might be having a hard time finding the AI opt-out toggle, here's a guide.

First, click on the settings link in your blog's sidebar.

You will arrive at the main settings page. Go to the bottom of the right-hand sidebar and click on the link that has your avatar.

This will bring you to your main settings page. It will look something like this (right-hand side has been blocked out for privacy reasons):

Scroll down in that middle column until you get to the section marked "visibility" and toggle "prevent third-party sharing."

My honest opinion about A.I generated content

As we know from my introduction post, I am extremely against A.I generated media. To me, A.I generated media is a very insult to life and glorified plagiarism and art theft. When you generate A.I writing, images, and art, you are stealing people's works that took weeks, months, or even years to complete, and for what reason? For entertainment? For publicity? Maybe you should think about how A.I does more harm than good. Manmade media takes a long time to produce, and that is what gives it life. A.I media, however, takes seconds or minutes to produce, and often steals works for it, giving the A.I generated media no meaning and no life.

I do not support A.I generated art, videos, writing, and images, and I never will, as supporting A.I generated media is supporting glorified plagiarism and art theft, and also insulting life itself.
