Ahhh I've only seen that movie once and it was in two halves (because I fell asleep lol - not because it was a bad film or anything just that this old lady made the mistake of starting it after 8pm 😩)

BUTT I do love the idea of Fran being some type of AI and Alasdair falling helplessly in love with him.

Idk if you've seen the film Her but I think something like that could be cute too.

Idk, something about Alasdair just makes me think he's the type of guy who'd fall in love with his phone's operating system.

And like human x robot AUs in general are so angsty (which I love love LOVEE!!) Like either Fran is immortal and has to watch Alasdair get old and die or Fran gets damaged and needs to be shut down and ughhgghg 😭 I'm tempted towards the latter scenario because I kind of love putting Alasdair through pain. Though, I can see them staying together and being in love until Aly is an old man and when he eventually dies, Fran shuts down his system forever 🥺
