I stole from the show Sweet Tooth and my niece/nephews call me Pubba now.

I don't like a lot of GN aunt/uncle terms. But I was like.. if Pibling is (P)arent's s(ibling).. Bubba is a [masc-leaning] term of endearment for "brother".. so why not (P)arent's B(ubba). Pubba. And it's cute as fuck.

Plus it's really funny cause my Older sibling is NB, and their "parent" term ended up being "Poopaa". It was a joke at first.. but it's been like 4-5 years now and that's just who they are. So together we're Poopaa and Pubba and if that's not sibling goals, idk what is.

We need more gender-neutral honorifics

There is one big issue with gender neutral language in English for nonbinary etc people like myself.

Titles/Honorifics

It's one that's had a lot of debate and many proposed solutions over the years (including Mx. which works for some people but I find clumsy), but I think I've solved it with the help of etymology and Wikipedia

Mr. and Mrs. are both from Master and mistress, and if you trace them back they go to Magister, and then to Magis

Which is related to both Mage, and Maestro, and means roughly the same things as Mister and Mistress

So I suggest (and really enjoy the idea of) perhaps adding Mgs. to Mr. and Mrs., pronounced "Magis"

Which could be used in a spousal way and as a title of respect

When I tried to do similar things for Sir and Ma'am, they come from different roots and so I can't quite as easily do this tracing back and abbreviating, but I am attempting it anyway. (I will update if I find anything worthwhile)

I get not many people are willing or able to change their language in such a forced way like this, and that language is supposed to evolve fluidly forward and not by haltingly filling in gaps left by the gender binary we already have built in to English, but I wonder if Mgs. would catch on...

I wasn't quite sure how to incorporate other gender flags into the genderslider flag, because the base flag doesn't really have much colour/stripe meanings besides the center dark blue bar representing a sliding scale. I settled on putting the putting the gender flag in the background, and the blue/green slider on top. It's pretty simplistic, but I wasn't sure how else to mix the flags together, and I think it fits decently. They're layered on top of each other, with the base gender being static / always present, and the slider changing on top (I also think the cool colours fit with change/fluidity, like water).

I added outlines to the slider for better contrast. For the outline colours, I chose what it was on top of (in the case of 2 center stripes, what it contrasted best with), and if that didn't fit, then plain white (though kenochoricslider specifically uses black, to match the overall theme better). There's also 2 slider versions, rounded and squared, since I couldn't choose between them. The squared version is more like the original flag, but rounded feels more like a slider to me (which I think is influenced by my learning of css design, IRL sliders are probably more rectangular).

I just wanna take the time to appreciate how complicated gender can be. Cuz I think people forget that there's people in the lgbt community with gender expressions so complex that it doesn't neatly fit into any current term

I think everyone's self expression is awesome and cool and you don't have to follow any of the rules/categories that society as a whole have set to try and make gender make sense, or even what the queer community have done to expand those ideas for people who sit outside.

Gender doesn't make sense and it never will. I'm a living example of that as someone who doesn't even have a gender and just dresses and looks how they want, because fuck it! I don't need to follow any unspoken rules to fit into a given category. I dress in such a specific way that it can't even be neatly categorised into masculine, feminine OR androgynous. Or sometimes I dress to present as any or a mix of them. I dont care, clothes don't have gender to me.

I like my womanly figure yet I prefer people not call me a girl, and I like looking flat. But I also like dresses and think they're pretty, but I get dysphoria when i wear one because its too feminine. I include myself in discussions about being a woman but I don't even consider myself as a woman. I go by they/them but i like it when people mix it with he/him or neopronouns. I dont make any sense and thats exactly how i like it. Do whatever the fuck you want to, literally nothing is stopping you. You don't have to have a specific word to describe how you like to dress or how you want to look, or even how you percieve yourself.

You can just be a human being (or even something else) that is just existing and living life.
