SUPER BOWL MANÍA
1 juego, 1000 emociones
youtube
Show de medio tiempo
Actuaciones destacadas:
Michel Jackson (1993)
The Rolling Stones (2006)
Maddona y Nicki Minaj (2012)
Beyocé (2013)
Bruno Mars, Red Hot Chilli Peppers (2014)
Katy Perry (2015)
Lady Gaga (2017)
Jennifer López, Shakira, Bad Bunny, J Balvin (2020)
Rihanna (2023)
Premios
Año Equipo AFC Equipo NFC Ganador: 1. 2023: Kansas City - Chiefs Philadelphia Eagles - Kansas City Chiefs. 2. 2022: Los Angeles Rams - Cincinnati Bengals - Los Angeles Rams. 3. 2021: Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Kansas City Chiefs Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 4. 2020: Kansas City Chiefs - San Francisco 49ers - Kansas City Chiefs. 5. 2019: New England Patriots - Los Angeles Rams - New England Patriots.

Patrick Cripps: 2024 AFL Brownlow Medal Winner
CARLTON captain Patrick Cripps has won the 2024 Brownlow Medal with a record tally, becoming the 17th player in VFL/AFL history to win the prestigious award multiple times after adding to his 2022 triumph in an historic count on Monday night.
Cripps, who was in the medal-winning position from round six, polled an incredible 45 votes to win from Collingwood superstar Nick Daicos on 38, with the Magpies' brilliant onballer also breaking the previous record of 36.
Cripps was confirmed as the winner at round 21, polling three votes against Collingwood to ensure he could not be passed. When Daicos polled two votes in round 22, Cripps was declared the outright winner with two rounds to go.
It was an historic night as Carlton's inspirational leader smashed through the 40-vote mark and broke the previous record jointly held by Port Adelaide midfielder Ollie Wines (2021) and Richmond champion and 2017 winner Dustin Martin.
Port Adelaide midfielder Zak Butters (29, Fremantle vice-captain Caleb Serong (28), and Greater Western Sydney midfielder Tom Green (27) rounded out the top five, with Sydney's ineligible superstar Isaac Heeney polling 28 votes.
It was Cripps who always had their measure, however, after establishing an eight-vote lead at round 16 and leaning on a strong finish to the season to see off the charging Daicos, who polled in a record 10 consecutive games from round eight to 18.
Cripps joined champion midfielders Chris Judd and Greg Williams as dual medallists to have represented Carlton, but he became the first to win two Brownlow Medals as a Blue.
The crowning night capped off an outstanding season for the 29-year-old, who played every game and averaged 28.8 disposals, 8.0 clearances, 15.7 contested possessions, and 4.8 inside 50s, earning All Australian selection for the fourth time.
The 29-year-old accepted his medal from coach and 2006 winner Michael Voss and spoke about growing up in Northampton in Western Australia, looking up to West Coast superstars Ben Cousins and Chris Judd and dreaming of joining them as a Brownlow Medal winner.
"They probably inspired me to chase my dream, and now I'm in a position to inspire other young kids, and I don't take that lightly," Cripps said.
"I'm just someone who wants to chase my dreams and I love doing it. Now I know the impact I've had on young kids coming through, it's pretty special.
"All kids out there, or anyone in general, if you get after it in life and have a dream and work hard at it, you can do amazing things. Life is short, so get after it."
Cripps also paid tribute to the support of his wife Monique after the couple became parents to daughter Koda this year, with the midfielder happy and settled off the field in his 11th season.
He said his parents, Brad and Cath, had instilled great values in him that he carried still after being drafted with pick No.13 in the 2013 National Draft.
Last year's medallist Lachie Neale was considered a contender to go back-to-back but never got on a roll, finishing on 22 votes as he prepares for Saturday's Grand Final.
Heeney, who was ineligible to win after being suspended for striking in round 17, was atop the leaderboard for five weeks during the first half of the season but only polled seven votes after round 10.
Heeney and well ahead of Daicos (four) and Neale (two), who were expected to start slowly.
Daicos was entering a five-game block of outstanding form, however, and emerged with 13 of a possible 15 votes, rising to third with 17 votes to put himself back in the race.
Cripps was shaping as unstoppable, however, having kept his tally ticking over with three best afield matches to secure an outright lead after round 12 with 22 votes.
He was never headed from there, polling the maximum three votes six more times in the last 10 games to win in commanding style.
2024 Brownlow Medal, Top 10 Patrick Cripps - 45 Nick Daicos - 38 Zak Butters - 29 Caleb Serong - 28 Isaac Heeney* - 28 Tom Green - 27 Adam Treloar - 26 Errol Gulden - 25 Matt Rowell - 25 Jai Newcombe - 24

HAMS HOORAH!
In a year that will go down in history as, not only one of the best the club has ever experienced, but the greatest Victorian country football has ever seen, one pair of brothers stood tall.
Our beloved Hams brothers have more than left their mark on our incredible Inverloch Kongwak football Netball Club (IKFNC), playing out of their skins and leading us all to the promise land while improving the community every inch of the way.
TOM HAMS
Tom Hams took on the mammoth task of filling the over-sized shoes of club immortal Ben Soumilas, who stands proudly as our last premiership coach after our senior boys became the first West Gippsland Football Netball Competition (WGFNC) premiers in 2017. Souma’ left the senior side, and the club in a remarkably successful place when he departed, but despite the enormity of the role, it never bothered Tom, who thrived in and thoroughly enjoyed his role this year.
youtube
Tom came away with a series of accolades including taking home the minor premiership with a 16-1-1 season, coach of the year honours and of course, a premiership medallion. This a list of achievements that would be the envy of many accomplished coaches, let alone a debutant head coach!
Tom got it done on the field too though, leading by example and finishing third in the IK best and fairest count and earning a spot on the interchange bench in the WGFNC Team of the Year.
Tom's assistant coach Lewis Rankin also made it, as well as stout defender Jarvis Pryor, strong midfielder Ethan Park, boom recruit Tate Short and of course Will Hams.
youtube
Having played four years at the club prior to taking on the head coaching role, and falling short in the Elimination Final stage three years in a row, Tom thought it’d be the perfect time to make a call home and bring in his uber-talented younger brother Will…
WILL HAMS
The former Essendon Bomber reunited with his ‘big bro’ for the first time since juniors and their season has truly turned out to be a fairy-tale. The Hams brothers lost their father suicide ten years ago, which already made their Sea Eagles reunion special, but to band together and come away with a premiership makes their story a truly remarkable one.
youtube
Will may be a former AFL player and one of the finest players Gippsland has ever seen on-field, but his work off it is just as amazing. He is passionate about community mental health and is the co-founder of Liminal Wellbeing, an organisation focused on employee and community health. Liminal also partners with renowned initiatives and organisations such as the AFL and Movember, where Will hosts mental health workshops for their Ahead of the Game program.
The silky left-footer is an absolute gun on the field too, and even though he missed out on a month of footy this year, still finished his season with an insane list of honours, none greater than his best on-ground medal in the Grand Final. After tearing Phillip Island up in the Semi-Final, Will got back to work in the big dance, collecting 38 disposals and booting 3 goals, including two from the boundary’s edge.
youtube
The wingman/midfielder also earned Team of the Year honours, named to the half-forward flank, lining up alongside his brother in another touching tribute to their old man. Naturally, he also polled a huge chunk of votes in both the IKFNC and WGFNC best and fairest counts, winning the first and finishing equal second in the latter.
Will’s 61 votes were just enough to outdo 2022 BnF winner Ethan Park, who put together another superb season, and Grand Final and was clearly ‘second best on’.
youtube
Our senior’s 35-point premiership victory capped off a year for the ages, for the Hams brothers and our beloved club, winning five premierships across netball and football for the season.

Week One? No Fun
Well its a safe to say that the first week of 2023 has been less fun for me than the 2018 AFL Grand final was for Eddie Maguire (Fuck Collingwood; not that I can comment because I also have shit teeth).
Although I have committed to go without alcohol for the duration of 2023, and I also don't hit women... apparently not everyone else is as optimistic as me.. Thursday night I received a call out for work and it ended up in me being punched in the side of the face twice by a man who was drunker than my ole buddy Rick Hernandez after the Adelaide Crows lost the 2017 Grand Final (still my favourite day in recent history FYI). My new friend was adamant that I was hiding his 'woman' from him and I also apparently bumped uglies with his mother (based on him calling me a MotherFucker several times throughout this enjoyable interaction). Luckily for me his swing had less co-ordination than me playing beer pong because I left with minimal bruising; his partner on the other hand.. unfortunately not so lucky (not trying to make a joke about it; DV is sickening. But Facts).
I've always been neutral about the anti-social behaviour that occurs in Port Augusta. If you watch the fights that occur across the road from my workplace its almost like watching UFC Live (who needs to pay $200; when you can watch Gladstone Square brawls). However, its starting to get out of hand and something needs to be done; although I have been saying that about the AFLW for years and still no action.
An update on my health... well Im still not Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson ... but I've managed to stick to the Gym schedule I set for myself.. I didnt even stop by McDonalds on the way home (okay, well maybe once.). Current weight: 124KG.
Financially nothing has changed. Didn't get paid. Still poorer than Jeffery Dahmers mental health.
Now... perhaps my biggest focus this week... No Betting (although, with limited funds accessible its easy not to bet). Although my odds against the drunk that thought I was bangin his misso (and his mum) would have been about $7.00 to go to decision. A good investment. I woke up the next day with no hangover and a mental health day at work. I recon I won that one. A further point is that I lasted longer than Jose Aldo did against Connor McGregor therefore... simple math Alex Robinson > Jose Aldo.
Thats all for now; remember to stay healthy, be an overall good cunt and most importantly Collingwood fuckin suck.
Aleki Out.

Mr. Brightside
Coming out of my cage And I've been doing just fine Gotta gotta be down Because I want it all It started out with a kiss How did it end up like this It was only a kiss, it was only a kiss Now I'm falling asleep And she's calling a cab While he's having a smoke And she's taking a drag Now they're going to bed And my stomach is sick And it's all in my head But she's touching his chest Now, he takes off her dress Now, let me go
I just can't look its killing me And taking control Jealousy, turning saints into the sea Swimming through sick lullabies Choking on your alibis But it's just the price I pay Destiny is calling me Open up my eager eyes Cause I'm Mr Brightside

AFL grand final day 2017, Richmond Tigers vs Adelaide Crows live: Massive crowds descend on the MCG | AFL Grand Final 2017
This year's grand final between the Adelaide Crows and Richmond Tigers is number 207: the last game of the season. Adelaide captain Taylor Walker knows the romantic line: the Crows winning the AFL premiership to honour a slain coach. Captain Blood, Jack Dyer, wore the number 17 - and it's 2017. GRAPHIC: Grand final teams Adelaide have been the best side all year, claiming the minor premiership under Don Pyke before dominant victories over Greater Western Sydney and Geelong in their two finals.
Both of the South Australian club's finals have been easy kills at home and as a result, I am not sure they are ready for the intensity of Grand Final day. There will be no speeches or more video analysis. THE AFL Grand Final is finally here, and either Adelaide or Richmond will be premiers for 2017.After all the build up the day is finally here. Captain Blood is looking down on us for this grand final," he said.
It's Richmond vs Adelaide in the 2017 AFL grand final. TAKE your mind back to the start of the season and think about who your predictions were to be playing on Grand Final day.The Crows won the minor premiership, dominating in their two finals as they look to end a 19-year premiership drought. An estimated record crowd of 140,000 people lined the city streets of Melbourne yesterday for the popular Grand Final parade and while Richmond holds the home ground advantage, Crows supporters made their presence felt. The afternoon is free and while I will be watching the AFL grand final, some players have their partners and families here, so they may spend time with them. Those streets and boulevards, wide enough to turn a gold coach in the old days; wide enough to accommodate dreams today. AFL champion Bob Murphy declared premiership players the 'bull elephants' of the AFL. "They walk up to the bar and the rest of us just take a step to the left," he said on the day he retired, lamenting the fact he never won one.
