cupid messed up her paperwork when she was filing out the forms to apply for ever after and that's why her birthday changed from november 24th to february 14th. she's too embarrassed to correct everyone and it's kind of nice that she gets to celebrate her birthday twice a year. though, it's still a little sad when she spends her first november at ever after and her birthday rolls around and no one from ever after greets her. (her family at olympus and her friends at monster high do send her wishes and her gifts are waiting to be collected. shipping interdimensionally is expensive). she's a little bit sad but is extremely surprised when she goes to her first class of the day, and finds on her desk a pink cupcake with a candle on top. a note comes along with it that says 'roses are prickly and violets are violets. if you saw me visiting your old school, no you didn't. but i know the truth you've been keeping at bay, so that's why i'm secretly wishing you a happy birthday ;3 -kitty'

okay i'm done pimping my stuff (well the already written stuff now it is time to introduce tumblr land to these 2 fics i'm back digging through and trying to make them put together fics that are gonna start the same and then branch off - they're both version of Alex being hired for Henry by the crown in some capacity AND OF COURSE BENEATH THE CUZ WHAT BETTER WAY TO INTRODUCE Y'ALL TO IT THAN SMUT-ISH WORDS LOLZ

Henry’s voice is barely more than a whisper as his grip on Alex’s waist tightens. “I need this … Alex, I need you right now.” Alex lets the admission hang in the air between them in all its raw and vulnerable honesty. Then he nods, his heart now pounding too, keeping his touch gentle, as he senses that is what Henry really needs. “Then I’m yours, Henry, for as long as you need.” Alex watches in the silence as Henry processes his words and as his expression softens. There is something else there a hint of gratitude, maybe, or possibly relief. Henry leans back on the sofa and pulls Alex with him. Alex sees the tension that’s been holding Henry together all day seem to unravel. His hands slide under Alex’s shirt, moving slowly, deliberately, as if taking his time to really savor the connection between them. Alex doesn’t reign himself in he lets his body respond instinctively, he feels his skin tingle under Henry’s touch. Alex matches Henry’s pace, keeping his movements deliberate, there is no rush. He wants Henry to feel in control and provide him the space to release the emotions Alex imagines he’s been bottling up all day. It feels like hours that they stay in this bubble—exploring each other with slow, languid touches. The light from the fireplace and the quiet of the room wrap around them. Any urgency that might have been in their earlier kisses gives way to something intimate and tender. Alex senses Henry’s need for someone who sees him, not as a prince in this moment but a man who just wants to be held and cared for—understood even.

Bill Progress Update

After my last post, which got over 150 notes (thank you to everyone who shared!), I have raised $75 of the $360 I need to pay my bills. My bills are due on August 7th, meaning I have 1 week from today to raise $285 more to meet my goal.

I think if Steeplechase were an animated show there should be an old, faded ‘missing child’ poster stuck to one of the walls outside The Future Is You. We never get a shot of it, it’s in the background of maybe two scenes.

And when Montrose finally takes the mask off he looks just a tiny little bit like the kid in the posters. He’s at least 30 years older, different hair colour, different hair style, etc. But maybe they have the same nose. Or maybe they both have freckles. Or maybe they both smile the same way, under the mask.

And it’s never mentioned. And you’d never, ever know if it was him or not. But it could’ve been. And I don’t know about y’all but that would drive me mad.

MY REASONS:

both are a tragic ship that ends with one/both getting stuck in an alternate reality (Rallon and Millenia in the Toy Room, timebomb with the anomaly)

girl with blue hair (Powder and Millenia. Yes, I know "blue hair Millie" isn't canon, but it's fanon enough to BE canon at this point.)

both part of a group of rebellious slightly burnt-out gifted kids (the Deca and whatever is going on in the divergent universe)

both ships have blatantly gay friends who won't say that they're dating but clearly are (thoschei and whatever Milo and Klagger have going on)

98% sure both have betting pools on when they're going to get married

the relationship is canon yet barely explored (both) (again, thoschei has always been the main implied ship in academy era stuff while rallenia is just kind of There) (and yes, there is the one hour timebomb deleted scene which is basically akin to if RTD was like, screw it, tensimm kiss and an entire episode about their relationship).

heck, Powder is if Millenia got some hair ties and styling tools and didn't have time travel building things in a cave with a box of scraps

Time travel. Like, I am half convinced that these two with Heimerdinger might have ended up as the Rassilon/Omega/The Other equivalent if they'd stayed long enough. And yeah, Rallon and Rassilon sound kind of similar. Which is probably a coincidence but I feel like i have to point that out.

As far as I know, Gary Russell never says Rallon was a white dude. He could EASILY look like Ekko because we basically only have a few details and the rest is up to fandom interpretation.

I could also argue that there are thoschei parallels, but like I think timedolls (my proposed name for Rallon x Millenia) fits better, strictly based on vibes.

I haven't read divided loyalties yet (or, I tried but the racism put me off), but I assume that Rallon and Millenia aren't, like, Time Lord royalty equivalent. Likely poorer families who aren't guaranteed access to the Prydonian Academy. AKA: not Piltover folks.

If this isn't the case, someone should write a fanfic where they meet

He failed wizardry 101 three years in a row, he probably hooked up with your crush, ​he was voted most likely to be arrested on account of all the pranks he pulled around campus. He smokes cigarettes in the parking lot. He’s at the top of his sorcery classes and his name is on everyone’s lips, he’s Jace Stardiamond and if you don’t know him, then maybe you’re just not cool enough to.

By the time he’s a junior, everyone has an idea of who he is but when he’s alone with himself, he has a hard time deciding if he knows who he is. Every moment of his life he’s been told the whos, whats and whys and he feels trapped inside of the labels and high standards so he takes comfort in the unknown.

For once he finally feels in tune with his magic. He doesn’t need to know where it comes from when it comes to him as easy as breathing. He still has such a keen eye for it, though. He approaches sorcery with such a precision and resolve that leaves people in awe of him, the attention doesn’t hurt either.

He always admired that quality in the wizards surrounding him, there’s no reason he can’t borrow that kind of self discipline for himself if it leads to better self discovery.

Still, he can’t take the way his old wizardry textbooks mock him from where they live on his bookshelf. He finds a home for them far at the top of his closet and doesn’t look back.

Is2g the way he told Adaine he couldn’t take a level of wizard, “I tried.” And then him saying he always thought wizards were a bit stinky has haunted me since the finale aired. That man has a deep vendetta associated with wizardry, you just know it. That shit haunts him.
