Rereading Nesta and Mor’s first meeting- I’m sorry, who the fuck acts like that when you meet someone for the first time? Like walking up to them and grabbing their clothes without asking?

so Nesta’s body language is clearly indicating that she’s uncomfortable, but does that stop Mor? No.

“Mor’s answering smirk wasn’t reassuring” great job y’all. 10/10 social skills. i’m sure you make great diplomats and courtiers.

I feel like I’m being gaslit into thinking Nesta is somehow in the wrong here. She’s very clearly uncomfortable having Mor in her personal space, Mor continues being in her personal space, and she finally snaps back a little after enduring a joke about having her clothes stolen right off her. Which given her history it’s very understandable that she didn’t find funny in the slightest. But then Mor’s like “I need #wine🍷🤪 to deal with this” and Amren’s like “wtf is wrong with you” and the reader is supposed to come to the conclusion that nesta is somehow in the wrong when she’s…not? Mor was being weird as hell!!

I was bored and started wondering what car would ACOTAR characters drive. So here are my ideas.

Btw I know nothing about cars, so don't come for me.

Rhysand, of course, is driving a ridiculously expensive car that screams opulence and luxury. Something like Bugatti Chiron in matte black. He probably has a whole basket of lint rollers in the trunk.

Feyre would choose something more causal, but also luxurious like Cadillac Escalade in customised color (maybe midnight blue). She needs to have space for her art supplies and friends.

Cassian drives a black Jeep, duh. No car screams more "IM A MANLY MAN" than a jeep. There are empty beer cans on the floor and stinky workout clothes on the back sit.

Azriel has something fast and stealthy, like a BMW i8, black, of course. It's a hybrid, so he can be stealthy if he wants to.

Mor is driving a red Porsche 911 Cabriolet. Sexy and elegant to pick up all the girls and take them on hot vineyard dates. U go girl.

Nesta has something big and bold, yet elegant, in silver, like Range Rover Sport. It's always clean and she loves to keep Cassian away from it.

Elain doesn't drive, I'm sorry. If she did, she would probably choose a Mini Cooper in fun spring colors.

Tamlin has a green Porsche 718 Cayman he drives to meetings, but when no one is looking he's pimping up a 1990s Ford Ranger.

Lucien is driving either a red 1970s vehicle like Chevrolet Camaro or a hippie-mobile Volkswagen Bus with a mattress and soft, fluffy blankets in the back that he takes on adventures 😏 His vehicles smell like leather, cinnamon and cedarwood.

So yep, that's it. If you have other ideas, I would love to see them!

im actually so sad that we are not getting abyss arc princezam video. i knew that we wont for many months but its still like. damn. yeah, we got a bunch of great povs, but zams way of telling the story is really good for explaining to your friends why the fuck you love something on the lifesteal so much. abyss arc from the original abyss trio pov defo is in my top-3 of lifesteal arcs ever and abyss as a team in general means so much for me and i know that itd be such a beautiful story to show and tell. but we would not, and its okay, lsers obv dont owe us anything, im just a little sad. maybe one day ill just make a supercut and be a little happier. lol

something i really reaaallly want for FoM is more areas to explore, more specifically other towns! even just cameos of the towns would be enough for me rn tbh. I'd really like it if there were other towns so that Mistria doesnt feel like its the only town out there and it could potentially add in more npcs into the mix and it could add into the whole town dynamic esp with how tight knit the town is I would love to see how they interact with more npcs outside of it

It starts to hit you how little Sjm cares for Tamlin once you realize he has no plot foreshadowing like other characters.

Like let’s break it down…

Feysand are foreshadowed to be High Queen and King

Elain is foreshadowed to be a spy or courtier with Lucien

Nesta is foreshadowed to lead the Valkyries as a general. Emerie and Gwyn joining her.

Azriel is foreshadowed to deal with the Illyrians and there’s also some suspicion with Koschei.

Cassian’s foreshadowing also ties into Nesta’s. Not leading the Valkyries but those two being generals together (also his work with Illyrian women is likely going to lead him to start recruiting them to join the Valkyries).

Lucien is foreshadowed to inherit the Day Court when Helion dies or officially become heir to the Day Court once his paternity is revealed.

Eris is foreshadowed to become High Lord of Autumn

Even Vassa has some believable theories about her situation with Koschei.

And Tamlin is foreshadowed…to die.

Even Feysand, who y’all say has a complete story, is still pushed into the center of the plot and given an arc as serious as a High Ruler one. Meanwhile Tamlin, who y’all say is still important, is only talked about when it’s time to criticize his current state?

i found this old screenshot of me trying to get into the mind of my version of pre-corruption shadow milk and it reminds me that i want to write down how i see him before his update is released! so that i can compare it and inevitably cry when seeing all the differences!!! praying-upon-my-own-downfall type shit.

some people like to write pre-corruption shadow milk (who i'll refer to as 'blueberry milk' from now on) as someone who was always a bit of a cunt, but... as fun as i think it is! i can't commit to that! he was made to be kind. he was made to be a guiding pillar.

for me, blueberry milk was... someone who dedicated his entire life to truth, to wisdom, and respecting knowledge... someone who wants to USE that faith to reality and integrity to help others through their own struggles.

...someone who eventually sees how people don't really want to hear the... truth. they want sugarcoated lies. they want someone to tell them everything is going to be okay. i mean, really, how can you expect him to keep going? knowing that your desperate followers don't even respect what you value the most?

he loses the ability to empathize with people who aren't ready to face the truth. he can't see any point to hiding behind falsities.

he wanted to educate others. to show them the truth. not be a sage, a lying prophet.

they put him on a pedestal. they take his words as law.

they've made a scholar into a god.

that's why 'fools' is repeated so much in that screenshot -- it's emphasizing the moment he truly detaches himself from everyone else. he realizes the differences of mindsets between him and his 'followers', of how needy they are for pitiful comfort. it's the first time he's ever referred to other people as fools - but it just... makes so much sense, the moment he utters it. that's what the repetition is: the accuracy of the term echoing, doubling itself, taking hold of his mind as nothing but the utter truth.

he does initially feel disgusted with his own cruel words and inability to feel empathy but... but the longer he thinks on it, the more it makes sense. the less he's able to feel bad. because he just can't see the rationale behind such... frivolous, emotional, nonproductive, pointless behaviour.

and i understand that.

“Hmph. The need to push moral definitions onto people is such a tediously useless endeavor. He’s doing his best, he just doesn’t know what that really means, and so he makes countless mistakes that really, get him nowhere. Thankfully, I know whats best. For him and us.”

"Very much so! I’m his mother, I made and raised him, nobody knows him better than me, which is why I know what is best for him, because he doesn’t."

What are they to you?

"Fenris is my son, my greatest joy and achievement. I love him very, very much.”

"I’m his mother, can’t you tell? I’m someone he can always rely on for love and support. I wasn’t then, but I certainly am now. I’ve worked hard to be that, and I need to keep things that way.”

"Being alone, being the monster Cernunnos claims he is, being abandoned. He fears many things, the poor boy. But most of all, he’s afraid that it’ll be confirmed that he doesn’t deserve to exist, that the world would be better off without him, and that he’s been wasting his time trying to live in it. Sad, but sometimes, our greatest fears are of the truth.”

"Oh, all of them are dear to me. But the moment he was born is especially close to me. It was the first moment I loved him, and the moment I was so happy to be his mother. But… I do regret the night I died. Very much so. I said so many awful things to him, and they were the last things he ever heard from me. I hurt him so deeply that night, and it was the culmination of all of the terrible things I’d done to him over the years. Sometimes, that guilt overwhelms me. But I’ll be better this time.”

"His whole life, of course! I’m his mother after all. I wish I didn’t have to be separated from him for five years, but we’re together again now. And I won’t let anything take him away from me.”

"It’s certainly more positive than my previous incarnation. He’s more willing to open up to me, and comes to me more often for safety. I’m relieved my efforts have paid off.”
