there’s something about a fourteen year old Feyre hunting in the woods for her family being absolutely horrifying to the inner circle but a fourteen year old nesta forced to use her body to seduce older men so she can get a marriage alliance for her family is just a funny little story for the inner circle to have a giggle over that gives them the idea that they should have adult Nesta use her body to seduce an older man into a marriage alliance. for her “family”.

I WISH I could ship Nessian but then I remember he took her on a hike, realized she was suicidal after pointing out the lethal falls and then proceeded to ignore her for hours on end. He literally didn’t even look at her. That’s not you treat someone you love. That’s not even how you treat someone you like. That’s how you treat someone you want to die. You’re baiting them. And I can never understand that or forgive it.

it always kills me that nesta who was already a victim of sexual assault got assaulted AGAIN while doing missions on behalf of the inner circle and she just kept. going. she kept doing things for them! she’s so much more self sacrificing than anyone in the fandom is willing to give her credit for!

i was expecting nesta to be a real bitch going into acotar because of how the fandom reacts to her but it’s really 20% at most being a bitch unprovoked, 50% being a bitch provoked, and the rest of the time she says something fairly neutral but everyone takes it as an insult because she uses a slightly flat tone.
