adam starts to chuckle at his brother words "chase, really? you're making her breakfast?" the innocent smile that was once plastered across chase's face fades away "you're so naive it's adorable."

"those kind of things are boyfriend things, you don't do that with a one night stand. you never give a girl boyfriend treatment when you're not the boyfriend. the way this works is: she comes over, you hook up then leave her out the front door when you're done."

"well..what if i don't wanna do that? what if i wanna give her the "boyfriend treatment" because i would actually like to be her boyfriend?"

adam laughs loudly like chase just asked him the dumbest question in the world, which to him sounds like it. "like you would ever date y/n. she's waaaay out of your league. it would be a miracle if you even got close to go out with her once, let alone date her. trust me, be happy you two fucked and give up."

as soon as adam is finished with his sentence he opens the front door and leaves, his laughs still lingering in the room as chase stands still in front of the dor. suddenly, the sound of another door opening catches his attention. you come outside of chase's room, wearing only the shirt he had on the previous night and your underwear. he turns around to see you getting closer to him, wrapping your arms around his torso.

"hey, what's with that face? everything's ok?" you look up at him worried, you didn't hear much of their conversation besides their muffled voices and adam's laugh. chase smiles softly trying to hide doubt his brother's words have raised in him.

"it's nothing, don't worry about it." you don't respond, you just furrow your eyebrows and look at him with those shiny eyes.

chase shakes his head slightly, pondering whether or not tell you. "it's dumb, really...it's just that – mhm – no, no, just – just forget it. forget i said anything."

"what is it chase?"

he takes a deep breath then exhales "i don't want...this to be a one time thing, nor a "friends with benefits" thing. i'm really, really, attracted to you and i'd love to take you out on a date, do things the way you're supposed to." at first, you don't say anything, your gaze is glued on him.

- I'm sorry but Crowley is so Donald Davenport coded so you're not as surprised or annoyed by his narcissistic tendencies.

- You've been here at NRC for a while, as a result, Ignihyde managed to build you a bionic recharge chamber in Ramshackle.

- I haven't finished book 7 yet so pls keep that in mind.

- I'm rewatching the show currently but I'm not following any specific timeline.

Adam Davenport! Reader:

- The thembo of your siblings and now, of NRC.

- Okay, but imagine that you see your little brother, Leo, in Ace and Deuce. Ace obviously reminding you of Leo's more mischievous and clever side and Deuce reminding you of his more well-natured and clumsy side. As for Grim, HE'S LIKE THE PET YOU NEVER GOT TO HAVE.

- The fact that you're living at a school is your worst nightmare though. Trien and Crewel have you absolutely stressed😭 During studying sessions, Ace and Deuce get somewhat annoyed with you but they do know it doesn't come easy so they help you study by explaining it to you the same way they would to a five year old.

- But, thanks to your awesome durability that you keep hidden from teachers, if you guys ever feel unprepared for a test then you just casually fall down the stairs and Ace and Deuce act all worried for your safety and BRAVELY volunteer to skip class. However, you kept using it as an excuse a bit too often much to Ace and Deuce's dismay so they eventually caught on.

- You are the BANE of Riddle's existence, you have no regard for the rules AND you aren't able to be collared. Much like how it is with Floyd, Riddle openly despises you but unlike Floyd, YOU DON'T CATCH ON THAT HE DISLIKES YOU. Which makes him feel guilty and puts him at an impasse.

- Since Riddle's collars only work on people with magic, imagine that you can just rip it off with your bionic strength. When Riddle first used his unique magic on you, Ace and Deuce were in ramshackle when you walked in with one of the collars on.

Ace: "OH NO, RIDDLE PUT A COLLAR ON Y/N!"

You: "Haha, guys, check out this dope friendship necklace Riddle gave me! I'm gonna take it off and put it somewhere safe! AW, MAN, I BROKE IT....I'm gonna ask me to make another one!" and then they have to stop you.

- LOWKEY, SAVANNACLAW IS THE PERFECT PLACE FOR YOU. The other guys love having you there but also, they will be nicer to other students because you are still a hero after all. When you see them messing with other people, you lift them up and put them in air jail.

- You're like Leona's little court jester ngl. While you're not a complete idiot, you're pretty foolish and it can get entertaining for a while but when you get a bit too destructive, he will have Ruggie escort you out. He likes to take naps on you, though, especially because if someone disturbs him then you shoot a warning shot with your laser vision and are all: "SHHH! The kitty is sleeping!" But if Grim chooses to kick Leona out of your lap, you 100% obey your favorite kitty.

- Jack is your one-sided rival. He wants to be just as strong as you and demands to train with you. He even tries to copy your work out regimen and kinda stalks you to try and learn how you're so strong but then he sees you casually lifting up the sports shack for Vargas.

- BRO, AZUL WOULD 100% TRY TO PUT YOU IN A CONTRACT. A strong bionic superhuman with laser vision AND the ability to breathe underwater whose incredibly stupid and naive? It's like you were sent to him by the Seven themselves. So Ace, Deuce, and Grim and your other friends have to steer you away from him.

- Azul: "Y/N?~ Would you be interested in a deal!"

- You: "Yeah, sure! Just let me finish my applesauce."

- Ace: "Y/N, NO! You're not allowed to make deals with Azul, he's a shady businessman, remember?"

- You: "Ooooh, okay. Sorry then, but I can't."

- Floyd: "Silly Tiger Shrimp, it's opposite day!~"

- You: "Okay! Sorry guys, I have to make a deal with Azul- Wait, I mean NOT make a deal with Azul! Hehe~"

- KALIM IS IN AWE OF YOUR STRENGTH, Jamil thinks that you're a clumsy and reckless fool and he doesn't trust you around Kalim. Like, Kalim was talking about how Jamil is so awesome at basketball and in awe of how high he jumps so you're all: "Haha, wanna see what it's like?" and Jamil walked in on you THROWING THE HEIR OF THE AL-ASIM FAMILY AT A HOOP.

- Jamil: "KALIM, ARE YOU ALRIGHT!?"

- Kalim, on the ground: "THAT WAS AWESOME!"

- You're not allowed in Scarabia without supervision, nevermind that you have to be a certain distance away from Kalim because JAMIL REFUSES TO LET THAT HAPPEN AGAIN.

- YOU ARE EPEL'S HERO, HE TOTALLY LOVES HEARING YOUR STORIES ABOUT SAVING YOUR WORLD AND THINKS YOU'RE AMAZING. Like, Vil is forcing you to sit down for a makeover and you're all: "Oh, this is like the time I had to sit still to get ready for my interview after stopping an asteroid from hitting the planet." and Epel is all: "AWESOME!" and Rook is next to you and is all: "Tell us more about this enchanting tale, mon cœur brave!~" and Vil is trying to stop you from eating make up.

- I'm sorry but Epel would so try to convince you to throw Plasma Grenades at Vil when he's overblotted😭 and he's all: "What!? I'm sure it won't hurt him that bad!"

- During book 6, YOU ACTUALLY DON'T THINK IDIA'S FAMILY HQ IS THAT CREEPY and you feel so nostalgic. Like, they go through the sanitation station and you're all: "Aw, this reminds me of my capsule back at my dad's lab in his basement...I miss my dad...and Bree and Leo and Tasha...and beating up Chase...AND CHASE!"

- But when you're fighting the other overblot monsters, that's when you show how much of a competent hero you are. You're protecting everyone and keeping them safe, as well as doing your best to keep the monsters away as your fellow classmates try to recharge the thunder spears.

- Idia would totally want to uncover your bionic biology to see if he could improve upon Ortho and you're just there like: "WOAH. At least take a bionic person out to dinner first before you ask to dissect them, man-" and Idia just being all flustered.

- YOU AND ORTHO being technogically advanced buddies, obviously there's huge differences between you guys but YOU AND HIM JUST HAVING SLEEPOVERS AND IT'S JUST YOUR CHARGING PODS BEING IN THE SAME ROOM. Anyways, he totally brings out the older sibling instincts with you and Idia kinda tolerates you and your thembo ways.

- MALLEUS THINKS YOU'RE SO FUNNY and he just laughs when you say something foolish but Sebek is all: "STAY AWAY FROM LORD MALLEUS, your ignorance is an insult to his majesty!" and you just kinda wanna bully him a little bit because he reminds you of Chase but in a bad way. When Silver falls asleep, you just carrying him around and stuff because he's your friend! Lillia also finds you amusing as well ngl, you're such a spirit young individual.

Chase Davenport! Reader:

- OKAY, BUT YOU LOWKEY PANICKED AT THE REALIZATION OF NOT BEING IN YOUR WORLD. Not only because you're in a strange and totally unfamiliar world but BECAUSE YOU'RE NO LONGER THE SMARTEST PERSON.

- Ace and Deuce during the detention thing were just staring at you weirdly as you read and try to get as much information on the world of Twisted Wonderland as much as possible. Grim literally having to sit on all of your books or swat them out of your hands.

- Even though you respect and like rules, you think that the ones in Heartslabyul are kind of excessive but YOU STUDY THEM REGARDLESS because you will not be caught lacking. So when Ace and Deuce come to you and they're collared, you're all: "Ha, let me guess, you forgot to take your shoes and wear them around your neck today, huh? Amateurs." and they just glare at you or roll your eyes.

- Despite that, as an experienced team leader, you can somewhat influence the Adeuce doubt and Grim to listen to you and they do respect you to some degree when you're not being a know it all. GRIM WILL BRAG ABOUT HOW SMART YOU ARE and try to convince you to let him copy your work and you're all: "Grim, when you cheat, you're only cheating yourself." and he just hisses at you and you roll your eyes.

- Tbh, I love the idea that when Riddle went through his Overblot, you were using your bionic supervision to analyze the threat but then Ace punched Riddle and you're all: "Oh, okay, that works too, I guess."

- While Adam! (Y/n) would fight the Overblots, your concern would lie in protecting your fellow students so you tell Adeuce and Grim and any other students to come close to you and you activate your force field to protect you and them.

- During the whole Savannaclaw thing, you were the first to figure out about Leona's whole plan but you were quickly humbled when he Overblotted. When he's done, you and him bond about being younger brothers with older brothers. TO BE FAIR, Leona admits that you have it worse because Falena doesn't constantly throw him around.

- Also, if you have a sensory overload because of your enhanced senses; I can totally see Savannaclaw kind of having a room to calm down because, like, they're Beatmen. You don't necessarily like Savannaclaw but they do think your martial arts skills are cool.

- DURING THE EVENTS OF BOOK 3 IS WHEN YOU ACTIVATE YOUR COMMANDO MODE and everyone meets your alter ego, Spike. Like, Floyd is threatening you and your commando app takes over and you and him duke it out. When you finally take control, Floyd is all: "WE HAVE TO DO THAT AGAIN, DWARF SHRIMPY! THAT WAS SO FUN!" and you're confused while Jade is all: "Huh, who knew Bionic Humans can be so interesting and complex!"

- But yeah, while Azul took you as a fool, you do a very good job at finding loopholes and mistakes in his contracts to help people out of them. Which he would find respectable but sadly, that's bad for business. So much like he does with Jamil, HE WOULD SO WANT YOU TO JOIN OCTAVINELLE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE. IMAGINE THE PROFITS.

- During Schemer of the Scalding Sands, you totally agree with Jamil and sympathize with the fact that he never got to have a normal childhood. HOWEVER, he is still doing bad things and as a hero, you can't excuse that behavior. I can see you guys being good friends and bonding with each other.

- ALSO, Chase was always awkward girls so imagine that you're awkward around pretty people in general. Like, you meet Vil and your brain short circuits and you're all: "H-Hi!" or you'll be explaining things and Vil is all: "Davenport, I need you to help me with something!" and you just turn around to face him and you're all: "...Y-Yeah, sure! Okay! Wow, your eyes are so pretty-" You also totally agree with his perfectionism and not just because he's the most jaw dropping person you've ever seen but also because you're a perfectionist yourself.

- YOU'D BE IN THE SCIENCE CLUB WITH ROOK AND TREY. Mostly to learn about the amazing science of this new world but also, you show off a bit of science of your own. Trey is super impressed by your knowledge of chemistry and Rook is their like: "Oh, how does one become as smart and charming as you?" and then you just giggle and blush and you're all: "Haha. You don't mean that~...Do you?"

- LIKE THE REGULAR CHASE, YOU'RE ALSO A HUGE CUTIE. You would totally love to watch cartoons and play pranks on people except they're completely harmless pranks. Jade will do something to annoy you and you'll be all:

Y/n: "Jade might think he got the best of me but little does he know, I'll get the last laugh!"

Ace: "I've never seen this side of you before, Y/n. What'd you do?"

Y/n: "I switched his No. 2 pencil with a number 1 pencil. LET'S SEE HOW YOU LIKE SMUDGED NOTES, LEECH. CAN I GET A HIGH FIVE!?"

- And all of the first years just look at you and leave you hanging and you frown and you're all: "See, its perfect because No.1 pencils are higher in graphite and much softer, so they're more prone to smudging-" and they're all: "No, (Y/n), we get it. It's still stupid."

- I can see you hanging out in the Ignihyde dorm, mostly because they have all the resources needed to try and figure out how to get back home but also, I can imagine that after a few months of coaxing and bonding with Idia, you guys would become friends due to your love for your siblings and your awkward ways.

- I CAN TOTALLY IMAGINE YOU AND HIM GAMING WITH LILIA, aka, Muscle Red. I can also see that Ortho would adore seeing you and his brother getting along, until you both sneak out of gym together to go and play your video games.

- I love the idea that you would love to listen to Malleus talk about gargoyles and you'd look up things with your supercomputer brain. You also would love your guys' walks because he can talk to you and inform you more about the magic in your world and you can talk to him about the science in yours. Your mind is still getting used to the idea of magic but Malleus would totally love to see your views on everything.

- SEBEK THINKS YOU'RE AN INSOLENT HUMAN, how dare you think your stupid human brain can match to that of the Great Malleus!? But he does admire your dedication to knowledge. SILVER SOMETIMES DOZES OFF WHEN YOU TALK but you're used to it and sigh but Silver tries to assure you it wasn't because he was bored.

Bree Davenport! Reader:

- Much like the ICON that is Bree Davenport, you will 100% sass back Crowley. He has to ask advice from Mozus on how to approach you since he's handled sassy teenagers before but that knowledge is sadly limited when it comes to BIONIC sassy teenagers.

- Not to mention that you're very maliciously compliant with him. When he asks you to run an errand and tries to imply he'll turn off Ramshackle's electricity if you don't, you just roll your eyes and go do it. But NOT BEFORE YOU TRASH HIS OFFICE WITH YOUR SPEED.

- When it comes to Grim, you totally decorate him with cute little bows and pamper him but you guys also exchange witty comebacks and retorts once in a while.

- ACE WOULD LOVE TO PIGGY BACK RIDE YOU SO HE'S NOT LATE TO CLASSES. At first, you did it out of the kindness of your heart but when he kept trying to trick you or guilt trip you, you ended up just dropping him off on the opposite side of campus from his classes. He was made but Deuce defended you.

- You're a little bit of a romantic as well, sometimes bordering on delulu but to be fair; you were raised in a basement and occasionally allowed to watch high school musical dramas. And being sent to a magical all-boys college is a dream come true!

- Until you have to deal with overblots and the very real possibility of innocent people dying, then you're just reminded that this world isn't SUPER different from your other world but being a hero is a never-ending job.

- You don't really get along with Riddle but you and Cater would be such good friends, you carry him to take him to places he said would be so "magicamable" and you turn invisible and listen in on all of the juicy gossip so you can report back to him and you two can giggle about it.

- You would 100% be able to tame the rowdy Savnnaclaw students because size doesn't scare you. You would be a little bit of a simp for Leona because he fits your type and he gets kind of annoyed by it but when you go back to your usual sassy and fiery self, he does kind of think twice.

- As for Jack, he admires your speed and likes joining you on runs. You happily let him know whether he's getting faster than you or not, even if he knows it's not achievable to be as fast as you, you do a good job of helping him monitor his progress. He reminds you of a smarter more competent version of Adam!

- You and Ruggie would team up to sometimes do small jobs, only if he handles the gross stuff just because you personally can't, but delivery jobs are up your alley because of your speed and you guys split the profits.

- Speaking of profits, AZUL WOULD LOVE TO TRAP YOU IN A CONTRACT TO WORK AT THE MONSTRO LOUNGE. When you briefly took Ace and Deuce's place to work, you were a one person serving machine. Getting impatient when dishes weren't done fast enough, you ran in the kitchen and took care of everything yourself.

- However, he now tries to make it not so obvious because the last time he did, you created an tornado with your super speed and shot him and his creepy twins from it. Floyd thought it was the coolest thing ever and begs you to do it again, while Jade pretended to sniffle as he mourned about how, "rude bionic humans are to poor eels like them."

- As for Scarabia, after Jamil sends you guys into the dessert and they have to make an oasis, you're just there like, "So...I'm going to just speed my way back to the dorm. Meet you guys there!" and then you're off.

- I DO THINK YOU'D BE IN THE POP MUSIC CLUB WITH KALIM, CATER, AND LILLIA. So after the events of book 4, you do kinda make sure Kalim doesn't put so much on Jamil. Such as throwing a party and you help him with the decorations instead so Jamil can have a break or, at the very least, you handle the clean up yourself.

- Also, you're not as surprised as everyone else is when Kalim decides to forgive him, purely because your uncle/father was forgiven from killing you and your family multiple times.

- OKAY BUT YOU WOULD SO BE IN POMEFIORE, after all, you've longed to be an ideal sophisticated and classy version of yourself. However, it simply isn't possibly when you're around your brothers who love to mess with you and tease you. So Vil is your go-to when it comes to makeovers and bonding. I'M SORRY BUT BOTH OF YOU BONDING OVER BEING NEPO BABIES *but well deserving nepo-babies* and it's nice to finally have make up without someone EATING IT OR DOING SOME WEIRD SCIENCE THING WITH IT.

- Rook, per usual, will be a freak as always and try to hunt and stalk you like he does with Leona and the other non humans. According to him, you are "the most elegant of prey. With the eyes of a soulful bird and the speed of a gazelle." and you'll use your speed to run away from him but he would totally have a list of places that you would run too and meet you there.

- Like Bree, you always wanted to have a friend that was a girl so you totally mistook Epel as one and that did not bode well for the both of you. Still, you make it up to him and tell him about how being strong and manly isn't really all it's cracked up to be.

- When it comes to Idia, he gets so nervous and flustered around you because you're so...peppy. Whenever you speed into his lab, he gets all nervous and flustered. Sometimes you tease him about being a nerd but you mean it in a loving way. YOU ADORE ORTHO THOUGH. He's such a cute little guy♡

- When fighting overblots, I can imagine you use your super speed to evacuate everyone and use your invisibility to jump out and surprise them at the last second.

The next day you saw Leo exit the elevator and slowly crept up behind him. You grabbed his shoulders and screamed "Boo!" Leo jumped up turning around, "I really wish to not have a heart attack at school." He put his hand on his chest. You smiled down at him and shrugged "Sorry." We walked up to Principal Perry giving her speech about Emergency Preparedness Week. "An emergency drill can happen at any time. So when the alarm sounds, you must evacuate the building in an orderly fashion, like cattle..if cattle had acne and braces...and a future filling up my gas tank." You turned to Leo before noticing the space next to my empty. He was talking to his siblings. You gradually walked up behind Chase before moving my lips to his ear. "Boo," You whispered. It sent a shiver down his spine, he turned around finding his face a mere few centimeters from yours. He jumped back, "Hey (y/n)! How much did you hear? Um, we were just talking about what superpowers we wish to have." "Ooh if I had a superpower...hmm.. I think I'd want teleportation or telekinesis. Imagine you could pop anywhere you want! or move stuff with your mind!" Adam spoke up, "I like this game! I probably want Bree's super speed!" The siblings froze. Bree spoke up, "What he means is he also would want super speed like me! Because I'd always want super speed you know I could get places sooo fast." You turned and nodded. They were a bit awkward but you didn't question it, Adam always did seem to say things without thinking. You turned to Chase and placed a hang on his bicep "I had to meet Mr. Jackson before class to hand in some work, I'll see you there yeah?" His arm was really muscular. For a nerdy guy who seemed to study all the time, Chase was surprisingly super buff. "Wow, you work out?" You squeezed slightly. He blushed at your praise and responded, "A little bit here and there, I'll see you there." You winked before turning on your heel and sauntering down the hall.

Adam mocked in a high-pitched voice, "Wow Chasey you're soooo buff and hot mwuah mwuah!" He fluttered his hands up and down. "Hey don't make fun of her." Chase glared. "I just don't get what a girl like that sees in a tiny guy like you." But Chase had had enough. He was sick of his siblings, especially Adam ragging down at him. He'd like to believe that someone did find his appeal in this world.

Breaking away from the staredown Leo spoke up, "Hey, you know what would be awesome? If you guys took out your bionic chips and switched abilities." The gears in Chase's head started turning. Maybe you'd like him more if he was strong like Adam. "Why can't we?" "I call your super smarts!" "I call your super speed!" "I call your super strength"

"I call good looks and charisma! Oh too late already got em." The trio turned to look at him before laughing.

Chase met up with you in history a little while later. "Hey" He nudged your arm. You turned to him with a small smile, holding your finger to your red-painted lips before pointing to the teacher. "I thought I was the goody two shoes here." He chuckled. You rolled your eyes before punching his arm softly. After class the two of you gathered your things while Chase offered to hold your books for you. "So how was Dance practice?" He asked. Chase had never seen you dance before but was curious. He didn't know much about ballet except for what was seen on TV. You shrugged and replied "Same old, It's a lot of controlled movements. I practiced my pliés, tendus, and rond de jambes. I still struggle at times with my pirouettes but I'm close to perfection!" Chase used his bionics to quickly look up the terms you threw at him. "Wow, that does seem like hard work no wonder why you rehearse so much." "Hey, I would love to see you dance sometime." You smiled at his interest. Most guys wouldn't care at all about what you said, ballet being a "girly thing". "Yes! I'd love to have you see me perform! There is a show in a few weeks. We're going to be doing Sleeping Beauty. I can get you and your family tickets." He nodded eagerly. "Great I'll send you the details later!" You ran ahead of him waving to go to your next class. Behind your back, Chase was fist-pumping the air. "Yes! She wants me to come see her!"

The next day you saw Adam Bree and Chase you noticed something was wrong. Earlier you had asked Chase to clarify covalent bonds and he just looked at you and started mubling and laughing about ionic bonds and what even are bonds. You had met up with Leo who convinced you to take the elevator with him before the emergency alarm went off. You had been so lost in thought thinking about what was wrong with Chase that you noticed Principal Perry in the elevator as well. "Um, what happened why aren't we moving?" Perry shrugged, "The power is still on, must be a fuse. The one day I don't wear my tool belt!"

The room started to feel small. 3 people trapped in a small tin box? You started to panic, blocking out your surroundings you leaned in the corner and slowly fell to the ground. The nerves were getting to you, you put your hands over your eyes and squeezed your eyes shut. Being confined in small spaces was not your cup of tea. You opened your eyes again to Perry prying the elevator doors open. Eyes wide it confirmed the fear, stuck between floors meant that there was no getting out.

Noticing your discomfort Leo went to put an arm around your shoulder. Perry grabbed the phone angrily "Listen up, generation epic fail. It's your fearless and loveable leader Principal Perry. I am stuck in the elevator, repeat I am stuck in the elevator!" Leo quickly removed himself from you "Hey It's me Leo, me and (y/n) are also stuck in the elevator!"

You looked around, "Um Leo, why does it smell like it's burning?" A snap was heard and the elevator shook. You were panicking and breathing heavily when you heard a familiar voice outside. "Leo? (y/n)? it's us we'll be right back to get help." You called out to him in desperation "Please hurry" as the tears fell down your cheeks. Chase felt guilty, it was partially his fault, partially his siblings, but he was supposed to be the smart one. And now because of them, you were trapped in the elevator. He was going to make it up to you later.

It had been about an hour and a half of being trapped with Perry and Leo and you had just witnessed their... less than normal habits and confessions. You felt the elevator move up and your heart seemed to want to burst from your chest. The doors opened and there stood the siblings with concerned looks on their faces. You ran out as quickly as possible not wanting to be trapped in a metal box and threw your arms around Chase's neck.

You pressed your face in his shoulder, some tears soaking up in his. His hand pressed around your back while the other one held your waist. "Thank you, I was terrified." Chase tried to comfort you the best he could, "Im so sorry (y/n)." But you shook your head and moved to hug Adam and Bree, "Thank you all for the help. I would love to stay and do something more for you guys but I'm extremely late for practice and am definitely in for a punishment." You grabbed your bag off the grounding giving each sibling a kiss on the cheek and running off.

Chase looked at his siblings, "wow french people am I right?" He laughed off the awkwardness. Leo spoke up next "you saved me I owe you one." "Actually we're the ones that got you stuck in there." Leo huffed, "well then you'll be hearing from my lawyers." With that he walked off leaving the trio behind.

The next day at school you brought in a basket letting the smell of apple waft through the halls. Seeing the Davenport kids and Leo you belined to them. "Hey guys, I um wanted to thank you again so I baked this pie ! I hope you like it." You held the neatly wrapped dessert up. It was covered in a red and white plaid sheet with a red bow tied across. The siblings melted at your gesture, even though they technically were the cause of the problem never have they been thanked for their service. Even Davenport would rather give them a list of things they did wrong before thanking them for their hard work. Adam was he first to move he grabbed the pie and scooped you up with one arm. "Erm Adam." You muffled in his shirt. "Thank you little Lady this means a lot," he said before fake crying. Chase tried to not let your kind gift be overshadowed by his jealousy for Adams fowardness with you. He wanted to be the one sweeping your off our feet not his brother. He was thankful when Bree said "Alright Adam let her go, she doesn't want to smell your stinky pits." "oh right" he said as he let you down gently. You patted your hair back down and fluffed your skirt out. The bell rang as you walked up to Chase holding your arm out, "Well shall we?" He linked his arms through yours, "We shall." Before walking off together. Behind the two of you Bree gave Chase a knowing stare before scolding Adam who was already first first into the pie.

part 2 of lab rats deserving better, for lack of a better title

picking up where we left off with mr. donald davenport/big d (chris and bryan, what the heck-) also HUGE TRIGGER WARNING of abuse and narcissism - donald davenport is one of the worst parents i have ever seen on disney. he makes it abundantly clear he only cares about himself and barely cares about his kids. i am fully aware that he was trying to protect them from douglas but i will say this on here because of the hate i got on the ‘say my name’ edit on tiktok. it’s davenport’s APPROACH that i am talking about. i know douglas would have been worse. with that being said… davenport always managed to make the situation about him. whether that was making a doll version of himself and making the toy company pay him god knows what amount of money for the lab rats’ action figures, or it’s an award FOR HIS KIDS for their 1000th mission that he tries to turn into a market deal with the president for his car, he always made it about him making money. even if it’s not about money, his ego never quits. when the KID’S BIONICS WERE EXPOSED, he said “i’m the brains behind it all. the smart behind the heart” (idk his exact words) and it’s like, stop talking about yourself for once. your kids could potentially be separated from each other and you’re talking about how you deserve credit for them. stfu, donald. additionally, and i sort of buried the lead here, my bad, in the literal first episode, you can see how donald had treated them for 16 years. he fed them pellet through a tube in their capsules - which was called ‘feeding time’ - what the fuck. chase LITERALLY says they’re “like human lab rats” and then they show adam in a human-sized hamster wheel. do people that defend davenport not realize that he treats his kids like animals? then after they made one mistake (going to school with no outside world experience thus inevitably causing trouble at school) and he almost sent them to an off-shore facility where they could complete their training - AGAIN, not letting them see the real world. bro, these are human kids you’re shutting out from the world. that’s like elsa in frozen possibly never evening meeting anna, could you imagine that? if you defend davenport, respectfully, unfollow or block me. no hate to hal sparks, all the hate goes to donald davenport.

tasha - my god, i love tasha. but there’s one thing that i wish they could have explored more: where the fuck is leo’s bio dad and what happened to him? so we know leo has a dad because leo says in ‘crush, chop, and burn part 1,’ “my NEW dad is batman!” but that’s literally all we even remotely hear of his bio dad. there are so many questions about this man. trigger warning real quick. was his dad absent most of his life? did tasha and him have a messy divorce? was he abusive? did they have a good or bad relationship with him? did he pass away? was he anything like davenport? in ‘can i borrow the helicopter?’ leo confides in davenport with a crush he has on janelle. davenport decides to tell tasha about said crush and she tries to help him hang out with her. after it backfires, leo is inevitably and understandably upset. “and what’s up with mr. blabbenport? i spill my guts to him and he blabs all about it” he says to tasha. davenport appears and here’s what he says to him: “you told my mom about janelle! i’ll never trust you again.” in my opinion, he could have and should have been more hurt. that could have showed us a bit more of leo’s past with his reaction. he could have said something like “i can’t believe my new dad can’t keep secrets either” or “my old dad would never have said anything.” like give us SOMETHING, disney. leo could have even struggled to tell davenport because his dad could have been a blabbermouth. we have no idea what his life was like before his mom married davenport. and tasha, when davenport was being irrational, could have said something like “this again! my ex husband always did stuff like this” or “new husband, same shenanigans.” seriously, we can get a little deeper here.

douglas: again, LOVE douglas. i know he started out at the main villain of the show along with marcus, but his CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT; BRAVO. he’s probably one of the funniest characters on the show. he just wanted his kids back, you know? give him a break. no but in all seriousness, he changed so much and became a better person. he showed he cared about the kids and saved their lives twice. donald? didn’t care that chase came home safe in ‘avalanche’ and was more excited about the money than his own kid. also the thing with perry having a crush on him was hilarious. i wish we had seen more of his backstory, though. all we know is that he wanted to make adam, bree, chase, and daniel cyber soldiers and davenport kicked him out and stole/rescued (however you see it) the kids, he faked his own death, and he partnered with victor krane to continue his research. all we get are these jokes throughout the show: “i was going through a rough patch and wanted societies to destroy each other.” in ‘sink or swim part 2’ when krane says to destroy adam, bree, and chase, douglas says “that was never my plan?” and from then on, tries to get in with and protect the kids, what did he want then? did he just want forgiveness or did he still want control over them? other than that, i don’t have much to say. i think douglas’ character was well written and had a good arc.

theresa cherry perry aka principal perry - i know she’s a terrible person but she’s so easy to like. she clearly cares about the kids but will never admit that. she wasn’t a very complex character though, i think. she was the standard mean principal who had a questionable past and 6 cats. what do you guys think of perry? what questions and/or suggestions do you have?

am i the only one who couldn’t stand caitlin? like she started out as bree’s nerdy best friend but then became this like crazy weird girl everyone hates. like? you couldn’t let bree have one good friend?

overall, lab rats is a great show. clearly, it has a huge fan base and there are lab rats editors everywhere on tiktoks and instagram. hundreds of blogs dedicated to lab rats and other disney xd shows on tumblr, or loads of posts about the lab rats universe. again, chris peterson and bryan moore did a great job with what they had, but if the show hadn’t been produced by disney and the things from post and part 1 of this post had been thought about more, it could have been a MUCH better show. what are your thoughts?

HI HERE FROM THE TWO PARTER EPISODE POST. what in the world is the actual beginning to sink or swim? i didn’t fully realize that was cut down too…

also that’s wild that bionic action hero was cut on netflix? bc i feel like i remember watching the full scene so vividly, like i always remembered that from that episode and i watched all of lab rats on netflix when i was a kid. so was it cut later on or something? like not when it was first put on there? idk why i’m asking you. i’m just curious ig LMAO

The true opening of Sink or Swim has Leo and Donald exit the elevator and reunite with Tasha, explaining how they fixed it so they could get back upstairs. Only then does it cut to all three of them surveying the damage to the lab, now having all gone back down to check it out, but streaming starts it there. This is one of the most memorable cuts to me because it’s not only the start of an episode so I immediately clocked that this was Not the way it used to start but also because I watched this show as it aired and vividly remember the horror of them trapped in the elevator over the season break so I was specifically very happy when s3 started and we actually see them get out lol. Then of course you have Bionic Action Hero cutting Adam mourning that he never told Chase he loved him and subsequently Chase later telling him he loves him too because he heard him say it before. Worst cut ever. Thankfully it’s online:

There are a number of cuts to Rise of the Secret Soldiers as well. Lots of action is removed from the battle and pieces of dialogue are gone. The one I mostly remember is when the three Davenport kids are debating what to do and Douglas emerges from behind a barrel — in the version on streaming he immediately comes out and starts suggesting a way they could make their idea work, but in the aired version, he feels awkward having revealed himself hiding and nervously goes, “I’m not hiding… I’m picking berries to use as weapons!… they could be poisonous!” Now as I look into this scene specifically I’m also noticing a lot of the following dialogue gone — the siblings debate taking the risk of aligning all their powers and Bree in particular is unsure but Chase and Adam convince her and they have a sweet family moment of agreeing to do this together. I can’t find a good quality version of this stuff but everything missing is in this low quality Dailymotion video lol, with the bit I’m referring to starting at around 41:25:

I didn’t check out the rest of RotSS to compare to streaming because I’m just going off the top of my head here but I’m sure there’s other stuff in it that’s missing from Disney+. There’s stuff in all of the special length episodes that got cut but idk what they are right now, just that there’s pretty reliably always something gone. The only one I’m pretty sure is safe is Crush, Chop & Burn because I recently rewatched it and it seems very much the same to me, I couldn’t imagine what would be gone that I wouldn’t have noticed, unless I’m that rusty by now. But generally speaking things get cut from these longer ones, whether they’re big moments or just a sentence, or in the case with at least one episode of Wizards of Waverly Place if not more things, apparently sometimes even a few words out of a sentence is, inexplicably, fair game.

I need to hook up my DVR hard drive and have a rewatch of everything in their complete aired form so I can take notes on what’s absent from Disney+ lol. It would be interesting to compare and compile a full list for all of us to be aware of what’s not there that should be.

Lab Rats HCs!!!

-Chase has nicknames for all of his teammates as well as his siblings. He even had some for some of his students.

-he calls Bree ‘bee’ and it started when they were only just little kids and were called Subject A, B and C. B is bee to him. He also calls her breezy or speedy because that’s what Mr Davenport used to call her before they had names.

-really cliche but he calls Leo 'Lion' because he thinks it’s funny when Leo gets all flustered when he does it. Leo gets embarrassed because he knows he’s not really anything like a lion. He also calls him ‘butter fingers’ and ‘handy man’ and he thinks he’s funny with that one since Leo’s bionic in one arm.

-he calls Adam ‘Atom’ and I love this nickname for Adam. I think I saw it in a fic about how the kids got their names and it was because Mr Davenport called him atom bomb (I think, I might have just imagined it) in the fic. Chase pick up on stuff really easily, that includes nicknames for people. He also calls Adam ‘hulk’ which everyone loves.

-Kaz has many nicknames from Chase, his favourite one is ‘fire boy’ and this one’s actually canon. He also calls him ‘Azzy’ which I have definitely stolen from a Chaz fic. Chase also calls him ‘button’ and nobody is sure why it started.

-he calls Oliver ‘drink dispenser’ and ‘refrigerator’ which he thinks is absolutely hilarious. Everyone calls Oliver ‘Oli’ or ‘Oli-pop’ which Chase has picked up on. He also has take to calling him ‘liver’ which Oliver hates.

-Skylar’s nicknames are ‘E.T’ ‘alien’ and other alien references. Chase also started calling her ‘toes’ after he found out about her weird alien feet. He also makes a lot of Star Wars jokes around her.

-Mr Davenport is ‘Donnie Darko’ or ‘weird man’ which Chase has absolutely no idea why he started.

-Douglas is ‘trash man’ or ‘rat man’ which stems from him being previously homeless.

-Chase has emetophobia (phobia of vomit) and refuses to eat anything sugary after he had hurled after eating loads of cake when he wasn’t used to real food yet.

-Bree can somehow always whip out bars of chocolate or random packaged food whenever people need it. Like she always has food stashed away somewhere on her.

-Chase mothers People a lot. He’s the one that carries around plasters and hydration for people on outings, he for some reason always has a snack on hand like Bree does. His are usually healthy and nobody wants them though.

-Kaz and Oliver are the only ones on the team that know how to human properly. Skylar is an alien, Bree and Chase grew up in a basement so they struggle to function like normal humans in society. They don’t understand certain aspects of being people. They didn’t know what Easter was until Kaz and Oliver came along. They still didn’t understand what Santa was and what his purpose is supposed to be. They don’t understand things that are normally natural to do for humans. Chase couldn’t understand the concept of homophobia because it was so normalised in the basement.

- (TW for homophobia and hate crimes) Chase and Kaz were almost hate crimed coming home from a date once. Six guys had started following them and yelling at them. They (Kaz and Chase) didn’t say anything and carried on walking. One of them grabbed Chase and Kaz went ballistic. He got so mad that even his hair lit on fire.

-adding to that, Kaz’s hair can ignite like a match if he’s mad enough. So far he hasn’t figured out how to do it on command.

-they have meals together almost every night. Kaz almost always cooks and man can cook really good food. Having 11(?) siblings means he taught himself to cook so that he could feed his siblings when their parents couldn’t be bothered to.

Science fiction has been a popular genre for quite some time and has always been a way to express relationships outside of what is considered “normal” by society. The genre imagines life differently from the real world in a scientific context. It, therefore, can express relationships and themes that mirror the real world but could not be expressed in a more realistic medium. Lab Rats is a kids’ science fiction show produced by Disney, airing from 2012 to 2016. The show follows Leo, whose mother has married a tech billionaire named Donald Davenport, who is working on a secret project of bionic siblings built to go on missions and save humans. These siblings are Adam, who has bionic strength; Bree, who has bionic speed; and Chase, who has bionically increased intelligence. Because these siblings have never seen the world before, Leo introduces them to high school and the world beyond; however, Adam, Bree, and Chase still have to hide their bionic secret and go on life-saving missions. After the bionic secret is discovered, a new army of bionic kids is discovered, with their leader, Krane, controlling them and intending to take over the world. After the kids are no longer under the control of Krane, they are blank slates, and Donald creates a bionic training academy island to train the kids to become bionic heroes like Adam, Bree, and Chase (Peterson). One of these kids is Sebastian, a character both incredibly similar and incredibly different than Chase. While the characters of Chase and Sebastian in the Disney TV show Lab Rats are not explicitly indicated to be in an LGBTQ+ relationship, the levels of friendship, manipulation, and betrayal found are indicative of a romantic relationship, despite the limitations found around LGBTQ+ relationships in the early 2010s.

The relationship between the characters Chase and Sebastian surpasses the typical level of platonic friendship found inside the show and instead implies a romantic relationship. At first, Sebastian is a member of Krane’s bionic army and is working to destroy Adam, Bree, and Chase. After he has become un-brainwashed, he is essentially a blank slate. At this point, the personalities that Chase and Sebastian have are incredibly similar, and so they begin to start conflicts with each other. Even though Sebastian rebels against Chase’s lessons by forming his own class an event leading to the sinking of the Bionic Island forces them to work together to save it (“First Day of Bionic Academy”).

After this, they begrudgingly accept each other's presence, and Sebastian becomes a regular character featured. Over these episodes, they become closer and closer until Sebastian trusts Chase enough to ask where the bionic students came from, and Chase starts with: “Well. I’m probably not supposed to say anything, but…” He tells the story about Victor, Krane, and the bionic army, ending with, “But, at least you’re safe now” (“Unauthorized Mission”). The language used here is important. If Chase were to say, “But, at least you all are safe now,” referring to all of the students, it would perhaps make more sense in the context of the story he is telling. However, he singles out Sebastian in particular, implying a strong sense of care. Particular language is not the only reason this interaction stands out. An important idea of Chase’s character is his intelligence. He is supposed to have advanced critical reasoning skills, as well as knowledge about many different topics. Surely, he would understand that revealing a large secret about the past of the students would have unforeseen consequences. These students are considered blank slates, and any deviation from what they already know could have disastrous implications for the person they become.

While the show does explore plots where Chase makes disastrous mistakes in spite of (or even because of) his intelligence, none of them have been this consequential. Plus, a large part of the early show was the bionic teens having to hide their bionic secret. Chase managed to not tell anyone for several years, and yet he is spilling secrets now that Sebastian is in the picture. This also happens in the spin-off, Lab Rats Elite Force, with a character named Reece in a very similar situation, except that dynamic is decidedly romantic. This could imply a romantic element to the relationship between Chase and Sebastian.

Meanwhile, in the next episode, Sebastian asks Chase to unlock him a new bionic ability, but Chase initially declines. After some convincing, he agrees, and Sebastian says that “We really are best friends.” Chase then replies, “Can you say that again? I wanna make it my ringtone” (“Bionic Rebellion Part One”). Chase is not usually described as a people-pleasing character. He considers himself intelligent, and he does not mind insulting other people in order to prove his intellectual superiority. This is particularly evident in some of Chase and Sebastian’s earlier interactions, yet it fades away here. In this dialogue, the feelings of a strong relationship between the two are emphasized by showing Chase’s strong desire to keep this relationship. He does not really do this with any other relationship we have seen him in so far, platonic or otherwise.

Also, there is a strong connotation behind wanting to change a ringtone to a particular person's voice, and more specifically, a clip of that person’s voice affirming their relationship. This is commonly seen in romantic relationships over platonic ones and certainly does imply that there is a romantic element involved. The specific usage of that trope carries the idea that these characters are possibly more than friends. However, the simple romantic subtext in their friendship is not the only reason that this interaction is significant, as there is also another layer, Sebastian's emotional manipulation of Chase.

Sebastian's emotional manipulation of Chase highly mirrors the real-life manipulation tactics used in romantic relationships. After Chase reveals the secret of where the bionic students come from, Sebastian believes that what they had to do (destroy their creator) was morally wrong. He decides to start a bionic rebellion against Adam, Bree, and Chase. One of the ways that he does this is by convincing Chase to give him a new bionic ability. When Chase initially refuses by saying, “No way. Only Mr. Davenport is allowed to do that. I could get into serious trouble.” Sebastian replies by saying, “You’re right. I shouldn’t have even asked. I just didn’t think it was such a big deal. I mean, I thought we were best friends” (“Bionic Rebellion Part One”). Sebastian clearly knows about Chase’s desire to preserve the relationship they have.

Although he does not have the same interest in preserving the relationship that Chase does, he recognizes its romantic connotations. His interest is to get more bionic abilities in order to kill Chase, and he preys on the perceived relationship in order to achieve his goals. While the manipulation is not explicitly tied to a romantic relationship, all too often, the guilt tripping found in their interactions is found in romantic relationships. Later in the day, when the security guard Terry Perry accuses Sebastian of stealing explosives, Chase immediately rushes to his defense by saying “No, he wouldn’t do that. He’s my best friend.” After a pause, he continues, “We talked about it. We’re official now” (“Bionic Rebellion Part One.”). Chase places a large amount of trust in Sebastian. He does not think to consider the fact that it may actually have been Sebastian at fault. Sebastian has manipulated him so far into believing that there are no ulterior motives found within their relationship. This is common in toxic relationships, where the person inside the relationship cannot notice how toxic it is.

Chase is often characterized in the show as someone who cannot enter a romantic relationship due to his nerdiness, as well as his perceived lack of social ability and attractiveness. He is most likely simply thrilled to be in a relationship of these sorts and is therefore looking past all of the red flags. Even though he was raised in a basement for most of his life, he is seen forming platonic relationships, and his behavior in these relationships differs drastically from his relationship with Sebastian. The use of “we’re official now” also insinuates a romantic relationship, as that statement is typically used to represent a romantic commitment. However, all of this manipulation does eventually lead to a sudden and harsh betrayal.

Although betrayal is not romantic in theory, Sebastian’s betrayal of Chase follows tropes commonly used in romantic fiction and is executed with the intensity of a relationship between lovers. After a while, Sebastian reveals his evil plans to Adam, Bree, and Chase. He mentions how correct he believes that Krane is, and Bree asks how Sebastian knew about Krane. Sebastian responds by saying, “Well, my buddy Chase told me all about him. He told me all sorts of things” (“Bionic Rebellion Part One”).

Here, the exact consequences of what Chase told Sebastian are seen. Romantic betrayal is a common trope found in television, and while it typically relates to situations such as cheating, it is no less potent here. The betrayal is intense and seemingly sudden, mirroring a romantic relationship and how quickly it can crash and burn. While this can occur with platonic relationships, as a trope, it is more often used romantically, especially in a situation this intense. The common belief that romantic relationships display more emotion than platonic ones bleeds into all areas of romantic media, including the emotions and intensity found.

In the series, the only betrayal considered of this same intensity is found between the characters of Bree and Troy, and that is a relationship with confirmed romantic feelings involved. This deep betrayal shakes Chase to his core, even in the following episodes. In the episode ‘One of Us’, the former lead bionic soldier of Krane’s shows up at the island and needs help. Chase is decidedly hostile to this person, comparing her to Sebastian when he says “Oh yeah? That’s what we thought about Sebastian, too. And we all know what happened there.” His brother Adam then responds to him: “We get it. He broke your heart. Let it go.” Chase eventually agrees to help the former soldier, and Adam decides to interject: “Okay, but when she crushes your heart like Sebastian, don’t come crying to me” (“One of Us”).

Usually, plots from previous episodes are not referenced in other episodes, particularly due to the show’s sitcom-like nature. Even episodes related to the central plot of the show are not usually mentioned except in other plot-related episodes. For this plot point to be mentioned implies that it had a strong effect on Chase, similar to the way a breakup would. There had previously been platonic betrayals, and they were not mentioned outside of the plot-related episodes, which shows that this relationship had a more profound effect than those platonic betrayals. As seen earlier, the specific connotations of dialogue help show that the relationship between Chase and Sebastian is more than platonic. “Breaks heart” is often attributed to a romantic relationship and is typically unused in a platonic context. Not only is it typically only used in a romantic context, but it is also used in a romantic context where there was some sort of profound betrayal, such as seen with Chase and Sebastian. When Adam uses that language, he is illustrating the knowledge that the dynamic was coded as romantic, even though it obviously could not be shown that way.

All of the subtexts in their relationship had to stay discrete due to the limitations upon kids' media in the 2010s. In this era, LGBTQ+ content in kids' media was far from welcome, especially with claims that such media would indoctrinate children. Therefore, even though this relationship could have been intended to be romantic, it would not have been able to be shown that way. Today, kids' media on Disney, such as The Owl House, has broadened the horizons of LGBTQ+ topics in media for children. In shows such as these, LGBTQ+ relationships are out in the open, without any need for euphemisms or subtext. Pride flags are allowed to be shown, and same-sex relationships are almost normalized. However, there is still a lot of pushback. Even now, not everyone is ok with LGBTQ+ media being shown. Although it is not all the way normalized now, it was not at all normalized in the 2010s when Lab Rats was airing. In this era, however, queer relationships would have been limited to only being subtext. When Adam specifically conceptualizes the relationship in a romantic context, he implies that a romantic relationship between Chase and Sebastian was what was planned all along. The betrayal between Sebastian and Chase, as well as the aftermath, was simply one of the reasons that this relationship was romantic instead of platonic.

Even though there was an inability to explicitly portray the relationship between Chase and Sebastian in the Disney Channel TV show Lab Rats as romantic due to the beliefs around LGBTQ+ representation in media, particularly for children, there were levels of intimacy, emotional manipulation, and eventual betrayal that indicated a romantic relationship between the two. Clues to a romantic relationship such as these could be considered by a large majority of the public to be a coincidence, but for the LGBTQ+ community, they stay in line with the common pattern of media being unable to express outwardly queer relationships. Representation of queer couples is not considered a norm in modern media, and it would have been next to impossible to find when the show was released, especially in media made for children. At first glance, this may seem like a simple ex-bionic soldier befriending and eventually betraying his bionic mentor, but underneath the surface, a touching story on queer relationships and betrayal comes to light.

It’s nice to see another person who still likes lab rats! But I was wondering if I was the only one who kinda wanted to see more of the bionic soldiers and Kranes affect on them, wiping their memories felt kinda… idk out of place? like I wanna know how did they felt about being bionic, did they even want to become hero’s? Or would they trade their bionics for a normal life? What did they think of Krane? Did they ever see him at all, or was he just a name they heard through the others? How did they felt about each other? (Sorry if this seems weird asf and out of the blue im autistic as shit with lab rats as my main hyper fixation and have been wondering about this stuff forever and haven’t had anyone to talk about it with 💀)

Hi! No need to apologize, I love analyzing stuff. I haven't gotten to this in Lab Rats so I'm not as informed but I shall do my best to talk about it because it's a great topic! 🫡

There are a lot of open things in Lab Rats that weren't touched or completely touched because, well, it's a show meant and written for a younger audience without focusing a whole lot on the details. This is all fine of course, but it leaves us a lot to think and wonder about. It also makes it a lot more to imagine things since there's so much room to play around with ideas!

Most of Krane's soldiers are just background characters, and those that are shown have little development and screen time. They were merely plot devices, but if they were explored more then I think there could have had much more interesting dynamics with them a the main characters.

They lived most of their early lives being under control of the Triton App or something similar by Krane, but once he was knocked out then they gained consciousness. It's crazy to imagine that Krane had been making an army of bionic soldiers probably since the rats were born. Not to mention either that Krane gave his soldiers different abilities than we had already seen with the rats, so he had to have been a pretty smart guy too. And how did he make an army without Douglas knowing?

I think since all they had known was being a bionic human then that's what they stuck to, especially since they had only gained consciousness recently. The bionic soldiers also seemed easily influenced as they followed Adam once they gained conciseness and then they originally sided with Sebastian during the rebellion. They all seemed hesitant when hearing about Krane again, especially Sebastian who then got angry and attempted to lead a rebellion against the rats and Leo. Through this incident too we know that they all view each other as brothers and sisters, and with Krane as their father. Leo even implies that everyone on the island is like a family, but whether the soldiers feel that way towards the Davenports and Leo is unknown.

I think it's cool that some of them had their own unique bionic abilities that we hadn't seen before, but I wish they were also explored more. What bugs me the most about the bionic soldiers is that in the end they all got new chips and upgrades that automatically allowed them to master all of their bionic abilities. I think that that's just lazy writing, but it's what was used to set up LREF since they no longer needed all four mentors on the island to train the soldiers.
