jax didn't think he'd be the type of guy to — like other guys. it’s not like girls didn’t cut it for him before, that was all well and dandy, but he lately found himself staring at the way the leather from your cut shaped around your shoulders a little too long, or how the veins in your arms would pop when you drew your gun. fuck.

and at first, everything was pretty easy to ignore, even if he stared too much and went out of his way to keep his distance — he could pretend it was nothing, jax had a knack for keeping his hands busy on useless flings, and now they proved a better escape. it was a particularly vivid dream and a few stoned deliriums when he hung around the weed shop with juice that told him this wasn’t going away anytime now.

he then thought of everything that was potentially wrong about it. when he didn't have his hands on a trigger, his bike's handle, or some chick's hips — he was overthinking. starting with the fact that no one had to know; and if they did, the club would have to make an exception for him, to any and all rules he would be breaking along the way. jax didn't keep tabs on every archaic rule of the original motor clubs, but he figured having an old man as an old man would be a pretty big hole to patch over.

chibs was the first to know. jax couldn't bring himself to tell opie about it — he didn't know how to feel about it himself, he didn't want to see opie not knowing too. and chibs noticed everything, down to how jax's jaw would tense at any and all comment that he would have found funny before, how he'd leave the bar too quickly, and not hang around the crow-eaters as much as he used to, almost as if he, out of all people, couldn't keep his hands fixed to known, soft curves. not when he closed his eyes and all he saw was sharp edges and rough knuckles.

the talk the two had about it had been awkward and oddly comforting, filled with curses. their backs to the wall and a cig between their fingers. it went something like: “so, the new patch.” “... yeah.” and after a moment of silence and a tightly stiff hug, chibs breathed out, “yer’ an idiot, jackie boy.”

when it blew up for the both of you, it happened in between dirt and beer, blinded by street lights. it had been a stupid brawl; a show to put on during a party of the mc, that grew too personal — especially when his breath hitched when you took off your shirt to go up against him in the makeshift rink. and maybe, he didn't know how to deal with being irrevocably smitten with someone so eager to punch his teeth out.

frustration and confusion about his feelings quickly soured into panting anger and balled up fists. he also remembers flashes of flushes and heat waves striking his skin where pavement sanded his back, it felt kind to be punched, as long as it was you.

not that he'd ever admit that.

even when he found you later in the bathroom, bleeding by his doing and running water over your knuckles, the wraps hanging off the sink, he came to you like a storm, frowning and seething, kissing the blood off your lips, hard enough he might've broke something else, he pulled away just as so, daring you. everything a challenge with jax.

that too faded away; into yearning and sickeningly sticky grudges that tasted too much like honey, you two didn' talk about the pushing towards greedy encounters in grimy bathrooms, not for a long while. his bike to yours even when he missed having you in his hands, he knew that if it was known and went south, both of you'd get shunned and blacked out, and even if the club looked past it, the other charters just wouldn't have it. so bathrooms it was.

he'd call you his boyfriend — not only in the dark — smell a whiff of gunpowder and call that home, if he could.

he wants to, just not now. and it hurts, and the knife twists, because they don't teach you what to do when everyone looks out for their old ladies, but you have to watch bullets grazing the man you love everyday, having to shoot too.

only when you strapped a bulletproof vest alongside your chest, cocked your gun and prepped yourself for a meeting made to go awry, only then he felt the very palpable fear of losing someone he didn't have the chance to claim as his.

everyone's family locked tight and safe in the clubhouse. before anyone took off on their bikes, jax kissed you briefly, it felt like a shot in on itself, his hands on each side of your face, holding you like water. “see you later.” his voice a lot like an order, even when his thumb ran alongside your jaw — not even trying to be soft, he didn't know how with you. before you had a chance to react and do something other than lick your lips, jax was already hopping on his bike before anyone else could, racing off, with all of the member's eyes on him, and you.

well, that would be a conversation to be had when they all came back.

- kenshi is a heavy sleeper. after moving in with johnny post-tournament he begins to unwind from his former unhealthy schedule that was supported by his yakuza lifestyle. johnny wakes up at 5 am to work out until lunch, and kenshi sleeps in til like noon or 1. johnny thinks its cute

- they either own a fuck ton of cats or ferrets. johnny seems like a ferret guy to me

- they like watching director's cuts of movies instead of actual movies because kenshi can actually understand a little more of whats happening while the directors explain certain scenes and go into depth about the composition and art direction. its a win win situation for both of them

- johnny actually reads a ton of books, but is embarrassed about it. leftovers from being a ""nerd"" in high school. kenshi thinks its adorable and he likes hearing johnny retell the book plot and express his exasperation with it unfolding as he reads

- johnny has a sweet tooth and kenshi has a more refined palette, he will try anything johnny sets in front of him though, even if he isnt much of a sweets guy

- on that same note, johnny is very good at cooking! every other night he plans a meal for them, and it's almost always a winner. lots of japanese style dishes (took some trial and error on johnny's part) because he wants to impress kenshi

Personality: I'm generally a very quiet person, not really speaking unless spoken to and stuff, but I'm not necessarily a shy person. Okay, I know Jax can be a lot to deal with but I am confident that you can do it. He probably softens up a little when he actually likes someone too, which may take awhile but he’ll slowly but surely grow into his infatuation with you. So I think you and Jax would be a good match!

As long as you can put up with his Jax-ness, he doesn’t mind how blunt or mean you are. Odds are, when he’s getting closer to you he even finds it charming. Everyone around the circus is too nice or goody for him, so you’re a nice break away from that. And he’s not afraid of talking either, so initiating conversations with you is easy-peasy for him!

Jax is not big on physical affection, so no worries about that. I think Jax is easily flustered when he’s in love over the little things his partner does. With you, he loves hearing you speak Russian, it’s like his guilty pleasure. He’d definitely try and “trick” you into speaking Russian by initiating conversations in what little Russian he knows but he’s not sly. What are your digital circus headcanons?

Like, in general and/or about the characters? Sure! I headcanon the current story taking place between 1999-2003. The original game was probably in development as early as 1994 or 1995. Pomni - Worked in general C&A company IT (recent hire) who originally got called in to fix some mild hardware issues. Somehow along the way, she got persuaded into play testing the external headset. I also headcanon her as being a lesbian, like me! Ragatha - Company secretary or otherwise a business phone-line operator. She was called in to test a visual demo under mysterious circumstances. I also headcanon her as bisexual!

Jax - I imagine he was a play-tester who answered an ad in the phonebook or something to be a part of a one-man-focus-group for the game in exchange for a quick sum of money and a free copy upon public release. He was pretty down on his luck at the time, probably struggling to pay for college, and agreed. I also headcanon him as pansexual! Gangle - Oh poor sweet Gangle. She's another character I think worked for the company, but "worked for" is a strong set of words. I think she was probably the sad unpaid office intern that everyone picked on and was made to run around like crazy. Like the rest, she was asked to play test some hardware at some point. I also headcanon her as heterosexual!

Zooble - I'm leaning towards the idea of them being something of a shift advisor for one of the company's visual development teams. Their attitude comes from people asking for days off and deadline extensions, which she normally wouldn't mind, except when that makes their boss (step above them) yell at them over it too. They later chose to demo the headset on their own, out of curiosity. I also headcanon them and nonbinary, aromantic, and heterosexual!

Caine - He's a definitely mystery, but I think he's an AI programmed originally for the game who at some point developed full sapience and consciousness, and planned on keeping everyone who play tests the sets for himself. He also (after whatever it was that happened to the actual company) decided to take the game world over and build it to be exactly what he wants it to be. I also headcanon him to be aroace! (aromantic, asexual) Bubble - is bubble

That's what I've come up with so far! If I'm proven wrong/etc later, that's fine lol. Headcanons are just headcanons! If anyone has different ideas/etc, that's fine too! This is just what I think about things in general right now! After all, at the time I write this we've only got one episode to work off of and EVERYTHING is open to various levels of interpretations. (although my sexuality headcanons I'm totally standing by lmao, it's just fun!)

Sexuality and Gender:

Zooble is either Non-Binary or Genderqueer, Aroace

Jax is straight, just male

Kinger is either Pansexual/Romantic or straight(there is no in between), just male as well

Pomni is Bisexual, just female.. Mayyybe a she/they Demigirl, just gives Cis vibes though

Ragatha is either a straight turning lesbian or Bisexual, also just gives Cis girl vibes

Gangle is either a Demigirl or Cis girl, being either Aroace or Asexual-Demiromantic

Kaufmo.. Is difficult, he's either going to be plain straight or possibly Bisexual in my eyes, maybe a tiny bit Demiromantic but it's hard to say, I do see him being a Cis male though

Caine is most likely Aroace but.. I could see him being Bisexual or Pansexual though I doubt he's going to really show off preferences when all the non-previous human characters are the sun, the moon, and fucking Bubble. And I doubt, if he knows nothing about human psyche, that he's gonna know enough to fall in love with one of the previously human characters. I also would say He/it for Caine but he strikes me as a guy who'd want to keep He/Him pronouns, though wouldn't take any other label to offence.

Kinger and Queener actually didn't like each other romantically and possibly even disliked each other a bit(I want to see the fanbase burn with this)

Jax probably isn't that tragic as some believe nor do I think he knows MORE than he lets on, probably a few things easily learnable but not anything mind blowing, he's just a self preservative jackass

Gangle is the most likely to Abstract next, Kinger is the second most likely but also unlikely while Pomni has the most and the least chance at the same time. Gangle because of her demeanor mixed with her probably being the second least cared about, Kinger because of his already set craziness but his craziness would probably hold him back from being abstracted plus he's a growing favorite. Pomni though, fits more logically but is the main character and unless Gooseworx is that kind of crazy to "kill off" our main character, the main character title should honestly keep her safe. (I don't think this is technically a headcanon but Imma just put it so why not.)

Mettaton's Newest Backup Dancer

I love Mettaton from Undertale! But really, who doesn’t? He’s an incredibly entertaining character who rightfully steals the show during the games second half and that EX form of his! Hot dam that form is, and I’m not even going to bother trying to hide it, hot! Like, Metaton EX is hot! I’m not even kidding when I say that this character *might* have had some hand in the start of my bisexual awakening. Well, him and Breath of the Wild Link, ESPECIALLY in the Gerudo Vai outfit and Rubber outfit. No outfit in the Zelda series will ever top those two for me.

So, what better way to show my love than to once again mentally robotizie my self insert and turn him into a drone working for Mettaton? Between this and the pics of them as a Techno Drone and an Ashour Drone along with the various other hypnosis scenarios I’ve put this hyper realised version of myself though I’m surprised their brain hasn’t been turned to mash potatoes yet lol!

If you’ve been around the hypno community for about the last, oh I’d say at least six or seven years, then you can probably guess there was a bit of inspiration behind me getting this. Outside of me just purely loving the funny robot box who later transforms into a Tumbler Sexy Man seven years before Jax from Amazing Digital Circus could take that title I mean. Around 2018 (I think. I just remember It was in the latter stages of the 2010’s) I saw a couple of pics by Shennanigma of characters being converted in Mettaton drones. Here and here. Those pics themselves was actually inspired by two other pics by Pedrovin which sadly no longer exist on DA it seems since the links to those pics on the Undyne one just lead to a 404 error now. It’s a concept I considered getting something relating to for a while after seeing it and only NOW after a few years am I going thought with it. And it’s mainly because I’ve seen a few other Mettaton Drone based pics recently. And I think you know how the rest of this story goes. I started to think about it a fair bit recently and eventually got this. Not only does my sona get to enjoy being mentally robotizied again but given they are a belly dancer Mettaton made the right call by asking them to volunteer to be a drone for him at the MMT. First is Pomni. I like her being a bit of the rounder type despite her being a fucking twig in canon. Also tail because we love cat Pomni. The most fun I had was with her slightly changed outfit!

Look not to be gay here but; Demon Hunter! Will looks pretty hot here * it's the will I told you a little about in his redesign/ rewrite*

Just for fun here some notes;

During his human Arc

In this AU instead of LJ living with him/ putting him under his wing it's frankie. In fact Jax * wills father* actually payed frankie to watch over him if he passes. Which of course later on he does.

Just like in other universes Will does grow up with Anthony and fell in love with him first. Which is why he was completely broken when he woke up in the underworld realm presumed dead with frankie looking out the window.

Frankie understood how badly will wants to go back so he gave him an choker that would allow him to enter the human realm and return to the underworld when he's ready BUT he needs to get stronger first

So frankie trains him. Eventually will did start to hunt demons and get stronger over time very slowly

In this universe he never became friends with LJ instead he basically killed the clown, and eventually when he found out about Isaac and the grossman curse he hunts the old man down to obviously kill him.

Once he killed him will felt slightly free but not completely.

Eventually as time went on he Eventually found an unexpected surprise. A knock out Anthony on the ground. Obviously went through a rough fight

He actually drag Anthony home making frankie slightly nervous knowing how dangerous Anthony is. But understood William's reasoning

When Anthony woke up will had his legs and arms around him holding his soulmate close while sleeping

Time skip to couple chapters they had their first date at a roller rink * Frankie is there along with Dr Forenzik. Yep the doc is in this au as the scientist/ doctor if the faction. Frankie is the leader * obviously * the rest of the followers I'm still trying to think. But it's a rebellion group against slender man and Zalgo.

During the first date not only did they had their first kiss but they also accidentally fused. Boy was that accidental situation fun

They did unfused eventually.

Piercings goes BRRR * will has some on his ears, lips,tongue, etc. * will really likes Piercings. He's also thinking of getting a tattoo some point.

Demon form!/ his demon arc

So remember how I mentioned the grossman has an curse? Well thanks to Isaac after his death from lj the grossman family end up suffering a curse when they become half human half demon. Which is another reason why Frankie gave will that pentagram choker. It's not just a teleporter it's a ceil to keep Will's unstable demon powers down.

It worked for awhile until Anthony got brutally injured making will goes berserk holding his lover close woth his choker pendant completely shattering revealing his demon powers

The wings and tail is totally not a panty and stocking with Garterbelt reference * cough at the gif*

Will's weapon I'm still thinking about

But his theme is Everything You Hate by Project Vela and The good the bad, the dirty by Panic! At the disco, and Gunfight by Sick Puppies

To him Anthony is the angel * which is funny because technically speaking Anthony is a half angel half demon* and will do ANYTHING in his power to protect him making sure his precious angel doesn't get hurt.

In this au Will isn't bisexual. In fact he's Pansexual and is genderfluid.

Re-reading this was crazy! A lot of stuff is going on so you basically have a whole movie trailer playing in your mind while you read, it's kinda fun! I do love references to shows I've enjoyed so, seeing a reference to the demon twins from Panty and Stockings was a treat, as well as seeing Dr. Forenzik being mentioned to have a small role here! Frankie being the one to take Will under his wing is really nice, quite a change in their usual dynamic. I am a bit shocked that Will was able to kill both Isaac and LJ, which how potentially difficult they could be to get rid of.

I'm not commenting much on the ship aspect of it cuz you know how I feel about those two lovebirds uvu hehe iwic. I do find your three picks for Will's theme pretty neat! I don't remember if you did send me any voiceclaims for the Will in this au. I do love the info you give me on our special little blonde boy, especially that bulletpoint about his personality. Keeping his awkwardness but making him dangerous, an odd mix in my eyes, but it can definitely work well.
