The Last Leaf

In the heart of nature, where trees envelope the forest floor

The rivers flow smoothly, making our spirits soar

The birds sing sweetly, bringing music to our ears

The animals wander and we hear nature's cheers

The kaleidoscope of beauty that surrounds us so vibrant and alive

And in it's beauty our spirits revive

There is a secret in this treasure hidden in plain sight

But we miss it, for we're stuck in a world that's black and white

The threats are real, danger is at hand

As the guardians of this planet, we must protect this land

The climate changes and the environment is at risk

The consequences are grim and our actions must be swift

The animals that roam in harmony and grace

The presence, a reminder of nature's embrace

We must protect their homes, their sacred space

For they are the heart of this magical place.

We must take action, we must do our part

To protect our planet to heal its wounded heart.

Let us unite in a chorus of hope

To restore this beauty and health nature cope.

Our priorities , our choices and our ways of living need to evolve

How to save this Earth we must solve

We must forgive our past mistakes of greed and destruction

To embrace a new way, a new construction.

We must build a world where nature thrives and the air is clean

Where forests are lush green ocean serene

Where animals have a place to live

So the past we shall forgive.

Let us make a pact to make this world true

A beginning of something new

We should cherish and love and respect and adore

I write to you with tears in my eyes and a heavy heart. After 188 days of displacement, constant fear, and struggling to survive, we managed to escape with our lives and reach Egypt. But the pain didn’t stop there. Just yesterday, we lost my children's grandfather 💔, not due to direct war, but because of malnutrition and the lack of basic life necessities. We couldn’t save him, just as we couldn’t save our home or our dreams.

The rest of my family is still trapped in the war, suffering the same harsh conditions that led to the passing of my children's grandfather. We are here trying to build a new life, but we have lost everything. We lost our home, and my children were deprived of their schools and universities. Even my eldest son, who worked so hard to build his future, lost his job and saw his dreams shattered.😔

We are now in desperate need of your help. We seek to secure a safe home that will provide us and our children with basic needs. Life in Egypt is extremely difficult, and prices are soaring beyond our reach. All we ask for is a chance to rebuild our lives and secure a better future for our children.🙏🏼
