5. Do you respond to comments? Yes! I try my best to respond to all comments these days. I like having conversations with my readers!

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? I don't do angsty endings. I'm very demure. Very mindful.

LOL, but no really, I almost always do some kind of hopeful/HEA kind of ending. But I have written some angsty drabbles. There is a Satharion drabble you can find in my drabble series called Mr. and Mrs. Ketos that is pretty sad for the prompt "to distract".

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Most of them. I'm a fluff girl. I think the happiest of happy is likely Burn Forever With Me because it's basically Elucien accepting the mating bond and going into a frenzy. Which how much happier can you get?

8. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Yes. Loads. At this point, the real question is when do I not write smut? And the answer is, not often.

My smut is very descriptive. I give people the manual. I like to make it immersive. I also have been told my smut is "smut with feelings" or "tender fucking". Which isn't to say it doesn't get raw and dirty. But I always am looking for what is the emotional core of this smut scene. How are they expressing love in this moment, even if it's one character snowballing cum into another's mouth? I also am always looking to make you kick your feet, even in the midst of a sex scene, so whenever I can, I try to show those little moments of tender touches that happen during sex.

9. Do you write crossovers? Yes! Actually I wrote a few crossovers when I was in That 70s Show fandom - notoriously cross overs with slasher films because loads of them had teenagers in the 70s haha. I haven't done one for ACOTAR yet, but I do have an ACOTAR/Crescent City Modern AU I've been thinking of for a while.

10. Have you ever had a fic translated? Not that I know.

11. Have you ever co-written a fic before? YES! Quite a lot. I've co-written with three authors. Two when I was in That 70's show fandom. And I've written two fics with my ACOTAR bff @crazy-ache and we have more plans in the future to keep writing together. I love co-writing. It's a great way to grow as a writer. And the creativity that comes from two brains is BIG.

12. What is your all-time favorite ship? I can't answer that. My OTPs are my children. All my ships I feel longing for, in different ways. I will say, I have been the most prolific with Elucien in terms of frequency of writing in a short amount of time. So clearly they have really touched a big part of me.

13. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? I mean all the fics I abandoned when I was younger? Definitely those lol. But I actually don't have a desire to return to them.

14. What are your writing strengths? Dialogue. As seen above, I have written for a lot of sitcom fandoms, and when you write for those fandoms, you get practice with writing with sitcom cadence which really helps with writing pithy dialogue in other genres. I also think I am a very good introspective writer. I think I am best being inside characters' heads. I also do think I am good at smut. I wouldn't write it so much if I didn't think so.

15. What are your writing weaknesses?  SHUTTING THE FUCK UP. No seriously, I do tend to be on the wordy side. It's one of the reasons I get into drabble moods because I do need to learn to be more concise and try to execute a scene without making it 5000 words. I also write very wordy sentences that need to be slashed and slashed.

16. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? Oh, I doubt I'll be able to do that. I only know English.

17. First fandom you wrote for? That 70's Show!

18. Favorite fic you’ve written? Ack! Okay, that is so so hard. I don't even know what I'd say. I guess, if I had to absolutely choose, I would say Summer Heat because I think it is emblematic of all my skills as a writer in one fic. And it's the fic I introduced Alexius - the first OC I ever fully fleshed out and developed, and that will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart because Alexius has given me so much confidence I never knew I had being a writer. He's really let me know that I can write original content with original characters on my own and shown me how to do it.

✨KotLC✨: I go through phases where kotlc consumes my thoughts. I’m not in one of those right now, but i expect she’ll return soon. In regards to my url, i originally made this acc cuz my friend was making one and i wanted to ✨support her✨ and here we are. Wrote a fanfic ages ago, don’t scroll to it (i beg of you), as it portrays Fitz in a way i hate with a  burning passion.

Star Trek: Star Trek is what’s currently consuming my thoughts. I’m in the process of binging ds9 (and gay for Major Kira btw love her), and I just finished the first season of discovery. I’m really excited for the next season of Picard, and i’m not entirely sure why everyone hates it so much. I’m a fan. I named my dog after Soji lol. Oh, and Voyager and Next Generation will forever be comfort TV.

SJM: I’ve finished all of Throne of Glass except for the prequel, and i’m waiting for ACOTAR to be available at the library. Aelin is like my favorite character from anything ever, and i love her an unreasonable extent. 

Harry Potter: Just wanted to make it clear that i in no way support R*wling or her views. Debby wrote the books. However, I most unfortunately grew up with Harry Potter, like i started reading it at 5 or 6, so it’s still really nostalgic and all that, and reminds me of when i was the weird girl in elementary school.

Wandavision and the entire MCU: I’m watching Wandavision rn and i’ve seen all the recent Marvel movies, except for like Thor: the dark world cuz like i tried and it sucked, in my humble opinion. Very much gay for Wanda Maximoff, like i don’t care if she’s mind controlling all those people, she’s still fricken gorgeous.

She-Ra: I watched like my first 2.5 episodes of She-ra the other day, so i don’t know much about it but the art style is *chef’s kiss*

Julie and the Phantoms: Someone told me it was good, and i’m like a few episodes in, and thus far i feel like it’s basically Bill and Ted’s without the fun of Bill and Ted’s, but i’m counting on it getting better.

High School Musical:The Musical:The Series: Alright, now BEFORE you judge me (nah you already have) allow me to make a flailing attempt to redeem myself. My cousins are doing this thing where they take turns forcing me to watch things they like for various reasons (those reasons being that i don’t have the attention span/motivation to do so otherwise), and this was what i was forced to watch first. I thought it would suck, and that it would be like all those other trashy Disney sitcoms, but it’s actually like adorable and like if my high school experience doesn’t turn out anything like this i don’t want it. My one complaint would be that while there is a fair amount of gay action, there’s not nearly enough lesbian action, like i’ve written a whole alternate universe in my mind about Nini and Ashlyn and i’ll make a post about it if anyone asks but I doubt they will.

Volví a escuchar a mi voz en medio la multitud, esperé y en el momento debido di mi opinión. La conversación siguió, me encontré entre ellos, observando un intercambio de palabras que nada referían a lo que acababa de acotar. Esta secuencia se repitió tantas veces que ya perdí el valor de mi palabra.

Días atrás veía una sitcom norteamericana, que entre sus gags agregó una escena similar con las protagonistas de New Girl, ¿cuánto tiempo más vamos a reírnos de un chiste así? Porque no es un chiste, no es gracioso que nos ignoren, que nos destraten, que se le quite peso a nuestra forma de pensar.

Quisiera revalidar mi palabra y otorgarle la fuerte creencia que depositaba en ella. Me sentía poderosa por poder hablar, creía firmemente en todo lo que decía y pensé que podía llevarme el mundo puesto.

Pero me cambiaron, me senté en reuniones que llevaron a nada y pintaron el escritorio de rosa como si eso fuera a cambiar las cosas. No queremos pintura, ni cintas de colores, hasta que la educación se impregne en los cerebros del patriarcado no vamos a ser nada, no vamos a ser nadie. Vamos a vivir marginadas, nos quieren de secretarias pero porque no nos quieren.

No es una cuestión únicamente laboral, se repetía en mi casa, en mi círculo social, con amigos de amigos, porque empecé por no considerar “amigo” a quien sea que tome esta actitud. Pude haberme esforzado quizás, para educar y compartir lo que aprendí pero cuando lo hice se mofaron de mi, en mi trabajo se reían del feminismo como si fuera gracioso, mientras que en mi casa decidieron ignorarlo.

¿Qué futuro puedo planear para mi? Cuando a las minorías nos privan de ciertas posibilidades, el futuro se ve más chiquito, cuando hemos sido gritadas y burladas, sucede solo una tortura en nuestra mente, empezamos a cuestionarnos si ellos tienen razón, si soy yo quien está mal.

Hi friend how are you??? So I will of course go into greater detail later on at the end of the month but if you ever need some more Olivie I highly recommend Masters of Death. It was SO fun and was difficult to put down. It’s about the godson of death and several other creatures (death himself, vampire, poltergeist, angel, reaper, godling, archangels, demons, and some more creatures) and this game that you figure out later. There are several different love stories intertwined (including a M/M one!) and all the characters are so loveable. The beginning lowkey gives Sitcom vibes and the whole thing is super funny but heartfelt at times. It’s just so good it kept me so entertained and it gives you sarcastic assholes and a sassy demon so what’s not to love. But yeah if you’re ever need of an Olivie kick I highly recommend that one!!

Hello lovely! I have been the absolute worst about responding in a timely manner lately, I apologize for that. I got hit with a breakthrough case of Covid earlier this month, and since I'm high risk, it's decided to pop a squat in a body and linger, making it so I'm having a bit of a trying time fighting it off. (Stupid bastard lungs. 😭) So far, I've managed to stay out of the hospital, which is good, but it's been a process. I'm only now starting to feel a little more like my old, functional self. I'm doing my best to get after my awaiting messages when I have the energy. :)

But also this was fun to think about. Maybe I'd go back to my roots and do a 1970s sitcom style story (lmao sound familiar) with the ACOTAR characters. Lucien is deep into the punk rock scene and Elain is grappling with her desire to marry and the women's liberation movement she's learning about in college. Seems like a perfect time to experiment when she meets Lucien. Maybe set it near San Fran and have Eris and Alexius have some fun times in The Castro.

Hi, and thank you! I'm glad you like the sitcom ACOTAR, because it was my spontaneous idea. The original text of the books sometimes makes me so angry that I can only deal with it with humor. Memes make everything better!

5. How many wips do you have? What fandoms/pairings are they for?

I consider a WIP to be a fic I have actual writing for, not just outlining. So currently, one! My multichapter fic Summer Heat.

12. Do you outline your fics? If yes how detailed are they? How far do you stray from them?

Yes I have to at least have a skeleton. For chapter fics I start with rough ideas for each chapter when I outline the whole story and then get more detailed bullet points when I go chapter by chapter. I maybe write a few lines of text as the outline. I do tend to stray because often times I find what I outlined really needs to be two chapters and more scenes pop up than I plan.

27. What area of writing do you feel strongest in?

I think I'm strongest in writing introspection and emotional thoughts inside characters' heads. I'm also pretty decent at dialogue especially writing banter between characters. I totally give credit to my experience writing fic in two different sitcom fandoms. I think learning to write for sitcom characters gives you an opportunity to practice and dissect how characters talk in that format that can really lend itself to any type of genre writing to make it more fun. I'm also dece at smut.

46. If you could only write one type of AU for the rest of your life what would it be?

I don't write a ton of AUs. I tend to be a canon divergence, fix it fic, kind of a writer. But, when I have done AUs it's usually a crossover with a movie or other media franchise. So for example when I was in That 70s Show fandom I wrote an AU with T7S characters in their own version of Sixteen Candles. I also wrote a fic where they were in Friday the 13th. I would love to try my hand at something like that for ACOTAR characters. So I guess crossover AUs is my answer.
