💝what is a fic that got a different response than you were expecting?

Hangman's Noose got more of a response than I was expecting considering its a heavily tattooed bradley. and i know theres some fics out where where hes got tattoos, but this bradley basically has neck to feet covered in tattoos. hes the sort of person who sees a flash event and goes, hell yes. and then goes and does it.

oooooooo. okay so i recently shared a moodboard for my new hangster wip whcih is a au where jake can see ghosts and tries to help which is similar to ghost whispereer but ive never actually seen that showww soooo lol. but one thing thats fun is that jake is a romance author using a pen name in the story, and throughout the whole story i have excepts from the story jake is currently writing at the start and its so much fun to write them.

Okay so like stick with me but young Derek, alive hale fam au.

So like the Hale family finds out that Derek has a crush on Sheriff Stilinski’s delinquent son, and has mixed reactions. Talia is torn between amusement, worry and wanting to dislike stiles. Papa hale is very protective but thinks it funny that him and his son have the same tastes.

Peter is ecstatic, Stiles once beat him in chess when running from the cops. (stiles was running and sat down in the park around people for cover, turns out he interrupted a chess tournament. Peter challenged him to a game if stiles lost, Peter would turn him over to the police. If he won, stiles could use him as an alibi)

The rest of his siblings don’t really have an opinion other than using Derek’s crush to make fun of him EXPECT for Laura. Laura is in a one sided rivalry with stiles.

As the sheriff right hand deputy she was tasked with keeping an eye out for stiles and she constantly loses him. Which shouldn’t be possible because she’s a werewolf. She can never connect him to a crime he’s committed and can never prove anything. Can’t go to a judge a say “oh he left a scent trail which I followed because I’m a werewolf.”

Derek brings him home to dinner after they start dating. Unfortunately, the day that Derek brings him over, is also the day that Laura had to run around town taking reports of his crimes. She is fuming. Stiles looks her dead in her twitching eye and asked her how her day went.

The only crime she can connect him to is when he commit aggravated assault against a few of Derek’s teammates went to far with hazing. (Derek refused to fight back as not to hurt them) she lets him off.

Obsessed with the idea that Derek loves hearing Stiles talk, that he could listen to him talk for hours, that he uses the sound of his voice to ground himself and be at peace, that it's his favorite sound in the world. That when someone tells Stiles to shut up he'll growl right in their face and tell them to apologize or get lost (even the pack, they don't get a pass when it comes to Stiles).

I especially can't stop thinking about how, at some point, they'll be alone spending time together, and Stiles will be talking and Derek will be listening, until Stiles shuts himself up because he's so used to people getting annoyed when he talks, and he doesn't want to annoy Derek, but Derek just opens his eyes from where he'd been resting his head on Stiles' lap and asks him why he stopped, he obviously was very excited about the new Iron Man movie, come on, keep going.

And anyways yeah I think they're perfect for each other.

my all time fave type of sterek fic is when derek is unapologetically obsessed and possessive of stiles. and stiles eats that shit up. and they dgaf if it’s healthy or not cause they’re happy with it.

✨What's a fic you've posted you wish you could breathe life into again and have people talking about it? (or simply a fic you wish got more credit)

Racing Hearts. Which is my Cam/Vala/Daniel fic and it's all outside POV from Cam's family and I jsut had so much fun writing it and I really think I did well with Cam's family and having them all be different and it was so fun.

🌈is there a fic that you worked *really fucking hard on* that no one would ever know? maybe a scene/theme you struggled with?

Colorado Blue Eyes was more work than I had been expecting, esp since I basically had an idea and wrote it in like .02 seconds and its a wild wild west au where the entire story unfolds with this background of a shootout and more and more is reveleaed and it was difficult because of rodneys circumstances and making it work was hard and also made me feel so bad for him because in my mind, in the fic, theyre all like 30ish or something. they're young.

🌿how does creating make you feel?

it makes me feel amazing!! anytime i do something and then i go back and reread it i always have a moment of 'holy shit, i did that. that was me' especially if there's a line i really like. or a scene i think that came out really well and then on a reread x amount of time later it doesnt even feel like me anymore? its like im reading something by someone else and ITS SO GOOD. and then i have that moment of oh holy shit thats me

Love me an au where stiles doesn’t know that Derek is a werewolf and is always talking about how much he likes him where Derek and co can hear.

Stiles is like “look at him Scotty, he has shoulders that are built to moan into, how could I not want to date him”

And Derek is fucking dying off the to side, face red as hell. His sister are making fun of him, Erica, Boyd and Isaac are making fun of him, even the sheriff is making fun of him. All Derek is doing is thinking about is upping his work out routine

the thing that gets me most about sterek is it's a guy who's been hunted for all his life and blames himself for his family's death, who is fundamentally unsafe because of what he was born as, finding safety with someone who'd probably bite someone if they looked at him wrong

conversely, it's this guy who forced himself into a sort of pseudo parental role for everyone around him (including his own father), who's been so intensely terrified about everyone's well being that he has multiple, ONSCREEN panic attacks about it, trusting this guy, with probably THE highest ratio of screen time to mortal peril, to be entirely fine, even to the point where in the episode where every other main character is grieving Derek in some capacity, it doesn't really seem like stiles thinks he's dead?? he's not,,, but that's WILD
